Standing in front of Myeol Mang's immense house, Dong Kyung's eyes widen in surprise, whispers, "Wow, so this was a real place?" She views a horizontal two story modern home with a balcony, large glass windows, overlooks a large yard with trees. He quietly responds, "This is the front of my house." He starts walking away towards some stairs. Quickly she follows behind, eager to share this intimate side of his real life.
He stands at a metal railing running along the length of the balcony. He gazes out at the black night sky, pondering the words needing to be said. She walks over, stands by his side, gazes at the night sky, quietly speaking,
"Your house is in an more accessible place than I thought. I think I can find it next time."
He responds, "You won't be able to find it. If I am chased out again, even if you come here. you won't be able to see me."
Frustrated, says, "What happened? You need to tell me so I…"
Responding in a serious tone, says, "I made a misjudgment. It was a wrong conclusion."
Meeting his eyes, asks, "What do you mean by that?"
He says, "What you said was right. You shouldn't love me. You can't love me. So, your wish…I can't fulfill it."
Shocked, sadness reflects in brown eyes, softly says, "It's cold. Let's go inside. Let's talk inside."
She walks past him, towards the door.
He responds, "Asking me to love you, that's not possible."
Upon hearing his words, she turns around, slowly he turns around facing her as well. Sorrow reflects in his deep dark eyes.
Deeply toned, says, "Let's stop. I'm saying let's stop. Living together."
Quick breaths, shocked look, she steps forward, only to find herself alone in her apartment. She stares at the wall where previously stood Myeol Mang on the balcony of his home. Feeling at a loss, confused, heartbroken, kicks off her shoes, curls up on the couch, eventually falls asleep, hoping tomorrow will be a fresh start.
