Later that night, there was the 'Back to Summer School Dance'. Upon arrival, there was not an environment that Mr. Cloudsky would like. Lots of hand-holding, kissing, and other things. The dance was in the gym, so there were a lot more places to be alone. Copperclaws went over to Gullyfur, her boyfriend and began to talk to him. Blackspike came over to her, "OH MY GOODNESS! You have a BOYFRIEND!" Gullyfur looked amused as Blackspike soon ran away. Barley and Ravenfeather walked up to Copperclaws and her boyfriend. "There's too many yee-haws here," Ravenfeather said, "Not friendly ones either." Multiple insults were being thrown at them. "Hey you!" Straightfur jeered as Ravenfeather tripped over a foot. Barley turned around and walked up to Strraightfur. "No messing with my boyfriend," Barley growled. He flexed and continued to speak, "Unless yew want a black eye!" Straightfur yelped and ran away. Grabbing Ravenfeather's hand, his anger softened. "We dern't mean no trouble," Barley said. Ravenfeather walked away with Barley as they found a secluded corner of the room. Copperclaws met up with her friends and talked for the rest of the night.
