The next morning, I woke up curled up next to Harry with my head on his chest. I heard an owl tapping on the window. I got up and got dressed and headed to let the owl in. There was a letter from the ministry.
To Mr. and Mrs. Potter. We are happy to congratulate you on your marriage. Please be aware that you have 2 years to give birth to a child. Please not that the ministry will be monitoring you every move. If Birth control is used you will face a serious fine and possibly prison. Thank you for supporting your ministry of magic.
Harry was soon up made his way into the living room where I was standing.
I looked to see that he was in his boxers. I blushed and looked away.
But It was not as if I had seen him naked the night before, but the feelings were still new and I felt another blush come to my face as I thought about the night before.
Harry came up to me and put his arms around me from behind.
I felt his chest press up against my back and it felt so right. I sighed and turned to Harry and showed him the letter.
His face went from shocked to red with anger. "I still can't believe they are doing this to us." He said.
I sighed. "I know, it's like they have to control everything." I said. Harry nodded. "Well, I'm going to get dressed and then we can go to breakfast. He said.
I nodded and waited for him to dress. Soon, we were off to the great hall where everyone ate meals.
Hand in hand as we walked through the halls. I noticed students looking at us as we walked by, whispering to each other.
I knew that everyone at Hogwarts knew what was going on, but I still didn't like it.
We got to the hall and walked in. Harry and I walked to the front of the Gryffindor table and sat down.
Harry liked to eat with his students. He said it made him feel closer to them, as well as the Gryffindor house, which was secretly his favorite house.
I smiled at the students and sat down to eat. We ate and some of the students came up to Harry asking questions about the lessons that they were learning, which in turn, Harry answered them and sent them on their way.
Suddenly, a loud bang was heard and the great hall doors opened with a slam.
None other than Ginny Weasley was walking up to the Gryffindor table, where Harry and I were seated.
She walked up to me and slapped me across the face. The sound echoed through the hall and everyone stopped to look.
After a moment of silence, she spoke. "You took Harry away from me! He was supposed to marry me!" she yelled.
Harry stood up and walked around the table and sat next to me. I sighed. He looked at my face to make sure I was ok and I nodded that I was.
He stood up and looked down at Ginny. "You will never hit my wife again. He said. And furthermore, You cheated on me with another student, so you are in no way shape or form going to blame Hermoine for this." He said. Ginny paled but didn't say anything.
"You will apologize to Hermoine now!" he yelled. Ginny didn't answer right away and studied Hermoine.
"I'm Sorry." She whispered and as quick as lightning turned away and left the great hall. Professor McGonigle addressed the school
"Everyone mind your own business and get back to eating and talking with your fellow student." She said. And everyone did just that.
Harry turned to me and caressed my face. "Are you ok?" he asked. I nodded and turned my face to look at him. He smiled.
"I'm sorry." He said. I sighed. "Harry, It's not your fault." I said. Harry nodded. "But, I just can't help but feel like it's my fault. I should have thought about how Ginny would act." He said. I nodded.
"Well, It's over now. And we can move on." I said.
Harry nodded. Suddenly, the bell rang and Harry turned to me.
"Time for class." He said. I nodded. "I may be a little late at the reserve today." I said. Harry nodded.
"Have a good day." He said as he turned to walk towards his classroom. I smiled and waved goodbye to him.
Professor McGonigle stood next to me and spoke. "You two make a lovely couple." She said. I smiled.
"Thanks." I replied. "I think the ministry picked a perfect match for you." She said. I nodded.
"If you had told me that a month ago, I would be happily married to harry potter then I would think you crazy." I said.
Professor McGonigle smiled. "I'm glad things are working good." She said and walked out of the great hall. I sighed and looked at my watch.
I was late. I quickly made my way to Harry and my room and traveled to my work. Ijust hoped that I would be able to concentrate on work as seeing that all I could think about was Harry.
