Revenge is a Laughter
Harry stepped outside onto their terrace in Godric's Hollow, it was June and the summer was sending its first warm greetings.
The kids were off to school and kindergarten respectively, and as much as he loved them, he cherished the peace and quiet in the house for once.
He was off work, as was his wife who was getting ready for the summer quidditch season, her training regimen was harsh, and she had been getting back in shape after the spring quidditch break.
Harry felt a slight fresh breeze on his face and the warm sun felt incredible on his skin.
He was wearing black sunglasses shorts and a T-shirt, holding a Pina colada in his right and a book about advanced obliviation methods in his left, as he leisurely plopped himself into the lounger, feeling perfectly content with the world right now.
Just as he had closed his eyes a bit, the book and cocktail safely placed on the little table to his right, a gust of wind blew into his face almost making his sunglasses fly off, and he jumped in the deck chair.
His eyes snapped open, yet there was nothing, no wind, no person, no noise.
He shook his head in confusion, looking around, unable to spot anything.
It must have been the wind he thought. Even though that had felt more than unnatural.
He tried to quickly fix his ruffled hair, failing miserably in the process, and proceeded to straighten his sunglasses again.
He took a healthy sip from his pina colada, putting it down before crossing his arms on his chest, eyes falling shut again.
He could finally nap in peace he thought.
But that couldn't have been further from the truth as after just a minute another strong gust of wind hit him straight in the face, this time sending his sunglasses flying from his face.
He jumped up, stumbling a bit, slightly groggy from his almost-nap.
"What is going on here-" He started before stopping mid-sentence.
No, wait… he knew what was going on here, he knew who was behind this. And now it was time to play dumb.
"Must have been this blasted weather." He lied, before swiftly picking up his glasses and plopping himself back down into the lounger, discretely pulling his wand from his holster, hiding it in his right sleeve.
He closed his eyes again, yet this time he was on alert, not half-asleep like before.
A few minutes passed and he heard a very faint wooshing sound like something was coasting through the air at high speeds, it was so similar, he instantly identified it, forcing his lips not to break out into a smirk as his suspicions were confirmed.
Now he only had to get the perfect moment, with closed eyes this wasn't as easy as he imagined, but he was still confident in his abilities.
The woosh got louder and this time he was ready, his eyes snapped open just as he brandished his wand, his voice ringing out loud.
"Arresto Momentum!"
Harry watched Ginny's eyes widen in surprise as she was frozen in place before him, hovering in the air on her firebolt.
"Rictusempra!" He yelled, a wide grin on his face, as his wife erupted into laughter from the tickling spell.
"Ha- Harry!" She struggled to get out the words, clutching her stomach in laughter.
He watched her in amusement for a few seconds, before muttering "Finite Incantartem." Lifting both his spells.
Before he could react Ginny jumped off her broom, landing almost directly on him, as with a roar she pulled him onto the lounger, her hands touching him everywhere, tickling him mercilessly.
They rolled around, both out of breath from laughter as they were immersed in their fierce tickling war.
But Harry had an idea, he spun her in his arms, coming face to face with her and before she could react he simply kissed her deeply.
Their struggles stopped in an instant as hands started to roam wildly, pulling each other closely.
Lips meeting almost desperately. The warmth of the sun suddenly feeling dim in comparison. Neither letting go of the other.
They pulled apart after what seemed like a short eternity. Both of them left breathless as they grinned goofily at each other.
"You minx!" Harry spoke first.
"If I wasn't so sleepy I would've connected the dots earlier, of course, there are no sudden wind gusts on a cloudless summer day." He shook his head and Ginny only chuckled in response.
"I tried integrating it into my training for today, you know." She explained, raising her eyebrows in mock seriousness.
"Sharp U-turns in front of an obstacle aren't easy, that's why you got to practice them."
She sat up on his waist raising her right index finger into the air. "Make your practice your own personal masterpiece." She tried to imitate a deep Professor voice, failing miserably in the process, and only making Harry snort in response.
He simply sat up in the chair, pulling her with him "I should've kept you under that tickling charm for longer.-" He kissed the tip of her nose.
"-But you're lucky I am a softie." He smiled.
Ginny cupped his face kissing the lightning bolt scar on his forehead, her chocolate brown eyes so full of emotion as she spoke.
"It's one of the things I love most about you."
With those words, she pulled him towards her and they lost themselves in another deep kiss, the world falling quiet so as not to disturb their moment.
