Laying on his gray couch, Myeol Mang quietly rises in hopes of not disturbing Dong Kyung. He needs to meet with little God, figure out her reasons for stealing Dong Kyung away.
Little God stands on the balcony of Myeol Mang's house, wearing a warm green plaid coat, holding the pathetically dying yellow tulips. Myeol Mang walks out onto the balcony, strangely gazes at her, wondering why she is holding Dong Kyung's dying flowers. She glances over, says,
"It's a good night."
Serious toned, he says,
"Are you having fun?"
She responds, "It's not too bad."
He responds,
"Don't ever put your hand on her ever again."
Responding reasonably, says,
"I never put my hands on her. I just put them on you."
Increasingly feeling annoyed, he asks,
"What is it that you want exactly?"
She responds, "I was wrong. You are loved by her. I got scolded by her. She said she was never miserable because of you. I always hope I am wrong. I hope you guys are right."
Disheartened, he replies,
"But, we're always wrong and you're right."
Fondly gazing at him, one of her creatures, particularly loved. She swipes a small hand over the dying tulips, brings life back into them. Their stems stand upright, a brightest healthy yellow shines in the porch light. Little God walks toward Myeol Mang, hands him the tulips. She says,
"A vain hope is still hope.
A vain love is still love."
