After the craziness of the other night, Dong Kyung felt she owed her best friend, Na Ji Na, some time alone, just girls. Coming into the cozy apartment, decorated in pale greens and pastel yellows, found her friend sitting on the couch wearing a matching set of sweat pants and top.
Greeting her friend, shocked to find the woman shaking out a cigarette, she yelled,
"Unni, what are you doing?"
Embarrassed, Na Ji Na holds her hands up defensively, says,
"I didn't light it! I just barely put it in my mouth."
Dong Kyung hurried over, snatching the items away, glaring down at the woman, angrily says,
"I told you not to smoke. You will die young someday, so you should quit!"
Defensively, Na Ji Na retorts,
"Well, I didn't know you would be coming over today. You just let yourself in, how would I know…Are you sick? What's wrong?"
Dong Kyung shook her head,
"No, I am fine. I just wanted to see you…I missed you so much to death."
Na Ji Na frowned, pouted,
"Don't say death."
Dong Kyung looks at her friend, serious toned,
"Unni, you said that you will do anything for me, right? Can you just treat me like normal, like old times, please."
Na Ji Na relents, nods her head. After all, this is her best friend from forever and she only wants Dong Kyung to be happy for her remaining time left, what little time is left.
