Dong Kyung stood at the crosswalk, waiting for the green person sign to light up, as she ponders, warm fingers wrap around her own, tucking them into a tight grasp. Gasping, she glances down, back up to meet his dark, merry eyes and gentle smile.
Leaning his head, he says,
"I am sorry for not appearing."
Glancing up, she replies,
"That's sudden."
Still holding her hand, turns facing her directly, shocked toned,
"But, that's really crazy of you. How can you say you'll jump off?"
Annoyed, she says
"Hey, you're saying that you heard everything but still did not come…"
He did not acknowledge her statement, ending their argument by simply stating,
"Look where your stepping."
As the green light chimed, the couple took a large step off the curb….
