Little God sat on the hospital bed, legs tucked under her small body, a hand over her mouth, blood dripped between the fingers, puddled on the blue blanket. She stares at the stained blanket, a reminder of impending death, sacrifice for this world, these precious humans to continue their lives. Despite her pain, she never regrets suffering and enduring, her love for them is immense.
Sensing his presence, a hand on her curtain, not wishing for him such suffering at seeing her in a state of immense pain. Although she has difficulty speaking, she asks for him to talk through the curtain, provides him a lie, so as not to burden his young heart.
