Original: Hello, this is the first chapter of the fanfic, I hope you enjoy it, it's a short one but I promise that there is more to come:)

This is my attempt of making the show longer and more interesting so expect changes throughout the story

I do not own Naruto in any way but I guess you know that. I'm just trying to avoid copyright so ye

A STORMY NIGHT

It was a stormy Friday night in October, and a secret location housed the birth of a child.

The sound of raindrops and the flickering flames from torches and lanterns echoed across the stone-tiled floor and the cave-like walls.

The silhouette of a lady with fiery red hair was in the throes of labor, while her husband, a revered member of the village, stood by her side, his face hidden behind a mask of determination.

The man was a tall, lean man who wore the face of a hero. Every man aspired to be like him! There were still flaws to him, but every man knows that there is no such thing as a perfect human but so far he was the closest to it.

He was a calm and collected man, but he was also powerful. He also had a sort of goofy side to him, which he didn't often show. He was also so smart that he created his own unique techniques.

His blue attire would flow and fold in the wind, and his green vest would tell his enemies that it was too late for them, but all of that didn't matter now.

They had three nurses around them, all of them being the top nurses of the village, one of which was the wife of the Third Hokage.

The Hokage are the rulers of the village. They are the strongest shinobi in the village and, usually, have done a great deal of help for the village.

"Keep pushing!" urged the lead nurse, who was the Third's wife, attending to the red-haired woman.

The red-haired woman, filled with pain, was the beauty of the village. Her long red hair seemed like a fire that sparked in everybody's hearts.

The calm but happy face that she wore when she was out made people fawn over her, however, her true face was a happy, silly, and excited one that she only let those close to her see.

All of that was covered over pain and excitement however, after all she was giving birth.

"It's almost out, I see its head!" chimed another nurse, her voice echoing in the room.

The sound of the flickering flames and the drops of rain were overtaken by a loud cry of pain.

"Come out, Naruto!" the lady gasped in a raspy voice filled with pain, beads of sweat forming on her forehead.

The husband reassured his wife, "You're doing great, honey. Try to focus on pushing." His voice seemed like a beacon for the red-haired lady. In her mind, it was like an angel was speaking to her.

Once the child was born, its cries led the others into silence. The lady sighed in relief, her red eyes sparkling with emotion and tears.

"Congratulations, it's a healthy boy," announced the lead nurse, holding the newborn in her arms.

"Welcome, Naruto," the new father said with a smile.

As the night progressed, a shadowy figure appeared at the entrance, and with a single deep step, everyone in the room was aware of his presence, changing the atmosphere in the room completely around, letting in a sense of worry, fear, and a need to protect.

"Pardon my intrusion, is this a bad time?" The shadowy figure asked in a deep voice as he threw a kunai.

The man was hard to see, but it was clear that he had a mask covering his whole face, except for one eye.

In the village's forest section, you could now see the Kyuubi no Kitsune, also known as the Nine-Tailed Fox.

The fox was as large as mountains and capable of flattening them with its attacks. Its tails were so strong in fact that they were capable of causing tsunamis.

Down in the village, chaos ensued. People running everywhere. Cries for help under pieces of debris of what used to be houses and buildings. It was pure chaos.

Then a single sentence gave hope to the people of the village: "Look! It's the Fourth Hokage!"

With the village's leader, it seemed like there was just a bit of hope for the village to survive. The darkest times often led people to get lost in the dark and lose their light. But the Fourth Hokage was a sun that shone its light to the village.

This man was the fastest shinobi alive, their Hokage. He wouldn't lose.

With a flash of yellow lightning, the Hokage disappeared. He reappeared above the snout of the fox with a blue spirling orb in his hand. His Fourth Hokage robe fluttered in the harsh winds of the jutsu.

As the sphere came into contact, he cried out his technique, "Rasengan!" It was so powerful that it caused the large fox to bow its head to the ground.

The impact shone a bright blue light that covered the dark sky. That one technique turned the night into day just for a moment.

The villagers were mesmerized by the fight. The flashes of light. The blue explosions. And their attacker being pummeled by their Hokage.

The fight was one sided up until the large fox opened its mouth. The Hokage wasted no time getting close to the beast to stop it from forming its attack but it was too late. The fox couldn't form a normal sized version of its technique but because the beast was so big, the small version was still relatively big to humans.

The technique the fox used was the Tailed Beast Bomb. A bluish purple ball with a hint of red. Large amounts of power emitted from it. So much so that it can wipe out the entire village if it landed.

The Hokage only held his kunai close to him and calmed his breathing, the weight of the whole village and its people were on his shoulders. That feeling seemed to linger however, "I won't let you destroy my home!" The Hokage cried in determination.

As the battle concluded with a clash of yellow and purple, time seemed to stand still. When it resumed, both the monstrous beast and the village's Hokage had vanished.

And then the sky lit up. The orange sky returned after it had already set. Except this one was different. This sky was illuminated by a large mushroom cloud that was larger than mountains. Fire surrounded the impact creator.

When the Third Hokage arrived at the scene, he saw a baby Naruto in the center of the creator crying with a newly placed seal. The intricate seal on his stomach vanished as the Third Hokage gained his bearings.

Both of Naruto's parents had died in the attack along with all the nurses and hundreds of villagers.

The fires were put out with lots of water style jutsu. The fire didn't get very far thanks to the quick action.

Unbeknownst to the Third Hokage, there were a few ninja with plain white masks on them, they had watched the entire battle till the end.

The village launched into despair, and there was a three-day mourning period.

As Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, took office, he was left with stacks of paperwork.

Hiruzen was an old man, he was in charge of the village for years but it was clear that he had turned old.

All the old man had going for him was his strength, knowledge, his family, and his smoking pipe

"Damned paperwork," said the old man. "Minato, why did you have to go and die?" Hiruzen said as he took a puff of his pipe.

Hiruzen knew the village would soon grow to be stronger than ever, however it would take time. Luckily it seemed that the time was close. Closer than it ever seemed.

Hiruzen then looked at the papers, "Permission to make a shopping district and a cemetery, that's an honorable thing to do and frankly we do need it now," The old man said with sorrow in his voice, his eyes reflecting what he saw on the day of the attack.

Over the next three years, the village slowly rebuilt, taking advantage of the opportunity to advance and improve. They established a better shopping district and a cemetery to honor the fallen. Around the cemetery stood a large forest, a testament to the village's pride, never forgetting those they lost.

As reconstruction barely began, the village had a council meeting with the officials of the village. There were clan heads, people in charge of the various jobs in the government, village elders, and civilians who were in charge of the civilian districts in the village.

The council meeting was full of various differentiating voices. Some voices were deep, others were high. Some were raspy, some were clear. These voices were always talking, there was no moment of silence between them.

Then a shocking truth came to light by one of the attending members, "It's sealed inside the boy, Naruto."

The once noisy meeting was now as quiet as if it was empty. The members all had different reactions but they were quiet nonetheless.

Shocked, distasteful, sad, angry, furious. Those emotions all belonged to one of the civilian council members.

As the civilians kept growing in hate, the shinobi and government officials understood what that meant, however, the aged Hokage was shocked about this revelation.

"Are you certain of this information?" The Hokage asked, his eyes narrowing towards the one who claimed it.

"The Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, used a forbidden sealing jutsu to save the village from the Kyuubi's rampage. He sealed the beast inside the boy, Naruto," the council member revealed, fixing Hiruzen with a stern gaze.

The room fell into a heavy silence as the weight of the revelation settled upon them. The council members exchanged wary glances, grappling with the implications of this newfound knowledge.

Because some were clan heads of shinobi clans, they knew that this information would need to be kept a secret in order to ensure the boys safety.

However, civilian council members weren't the same as shinobi members. They were in charge of the civilian side of the village. They also were there to find a solution that would keep civilians safe and in power.

Hiruzen sighed, leaned back in his chair, and admitted, "Well then, I suppose this changes everything . . . doesn't it?" Hiruzen said, his hand rubbing his forehead.

When the meeting ended, Hiruzen covered his face and leaned on the desk. 'I didn't know that they were being spied on,' he thought. 'I have to keep my eye on him.'

As days passed, it was fully widespread that Naruto held the thing that killed so many villagers. That separated so many families. Fathers. Mothers. Brothers. Sisters. Sons. Daughters. So many dead. The village was abuzz with the revelation. Some villagers reacted with fear and anger, blaming Naruto for the village's past suffering. Others were unsure of how to feel, torn between their empathy for the boy and their unease about the beast within him.

Meanwhile, Naruto remained oblivious to the secret burden he carried. He grew up as an outcast, shunned and isolated by most of the villagers. Unaware of the truth hidden within him. The other children treated him poorly, their attitudes influenced by their parents' prejudice.

As he grew up, Naruto felt the weight of others' distaste and glares of hate. He was still just a kid, and the world's cruelty was a heavy burden for one to bear.

It was as if he was truly a monster…
