Hello once again
this is the longest chapter so far so I hope you're ready
you already know that I don't own Naruto but still
SCHOOLS A TOUGH PLACE
As Naruto started the academy with his new friends, he was happy and he had a place to belong, it seemed that his life was getting better.
But that was about to change
Another student in his class was called Sasuke Uchiha, he seemed nice but there was something about him that made Naruto competitive with him.
He was the top of the class for the whole 5 weeks that they've been in the academy, his twin sister Hitomi Uchiha was in second.
Naruto was competing with them but it was a one sided battle, Naruto was at the bottom of the class of 31.
The class's sensei Mizuki gave Naruto the wrong information which was stunting his growth, the only thing he was decent at was Taijutsu which they hadn't started doing yet.
Naruto was confident in his Taijutsu skills so he was looking forward to it in the future years since they only teach it when they're in the third year of the academy.
When Naruto was hanging out with his friends at the park, he saw a boy with a dog in his head.
"Who's he?" Naruto asked while pointing to the boy in the hoodie and the white and brown dog.
"That's Kiba, he's in our class" Shino said in a stoic voice.
"you're telling me you didn't notice him?" Choji asked while eating chips.
"I'ma go say hi!" Naruto said as he jumped off the bench and ran to Kiba, Haruto following behind.
The dog on top of the boy turned and barked which caused the Kiba to turn too.
As Naruto grew closer he called out to him, "hey! I'm Naruto, nice to meet you" Naruto said as he stopped in front of the boy.
Kina seemed a bit surprised but then he put on a smirk, "yeah and I'm Kiba, the man who will be Hokage and give dogs to everyone!" Kiba said while pointing at himself.
His dog and Haruto were on the floor greeting each other by what it seemed.
"This is Haruto, he's like family to me since we have no one else" Naruto said as he looked at Haruto with a smile.
"And this is Akamaru, he's my ninja dog but he's also like family to me, dogs are like our family members in our clan" Kiba explained.
"Wow, I wish I was in that clan!" Naruto said with stars in his eyes just thinking about being surrounded by dogs.
While they were taking Shikamaru, Choji, and Shino were watching it from afar.
"Looks like they're already friends" Shikamaru said lazily, he then laid down on a bench.
Now with Kiba in the friend group, Naruto was feeling more comfortable but then came parent meet days where a student would bring a parent to class and talk about them.
The whole thing seemed sad to Naruto since he was an orphan and never knew his parents.
As he sat out the presentations, he had an unexpected encounter.
When Sakura Haruno, a fangirl of Sasuke, brought her mom to class Naruto's heart pounded through his chest because who he saw was the same person who tormented him though his childhood.
Naruto quickly hid under his desk and didn't say a word, his heart was beating rapidly, his breathing short, and tears coming into his eyes.
Since he sat in the back of the classroom he wasn't seen easily so he had an advantage of hiding and pretending he was absent.
"Alright class, this is Mebuki Haruno, Sakura's mother, she is a renowned member of the village, she is a part of the civilian council and she attends meeting with the ninja council too" Mizuki sensei's voice said, although Naruto was under his desk he was paying attention to what he said, after all she was a big problem in his life.
Throughout the day he avoided Mebuki but as he was about to leave the classroom to go to the restroom he felt a hand on his shoulder.
"Where are you going?" A innocent sounding voice asked, Naruto, the type of guy to base his actions without thought, turned to face the source of the voice and looked straight at it.
Before he could fully process who he was staring at, he was flung out to the other side of the hallway.
All the kids in the classroom were shocked and most of the girls screamed as a reaction.
As Naruto looked up he saw a red aura around the Mebuki, he felt that the aura was pure hatred, he grew scared, he's never seen this before and he didn't like it.
Slowly the screams of terror grew into chants of joy.
Naruto felt abandoned again, he then realized that no where was a good place for him.
He didn't belong.
He then heard a familiar squeak, it was Haruto, Haruto was still there for him.
Naruto grabbed Haruto from his head and put him on his arms.
As Naruto was getting up, Mebuki however didn't let that happen as she kicked Naruto to the side.
The commotion caused other classes to see what was happening and soon there was a crowd of students and teachers seeing Naruto get beaten up.
Naruto couldn't form any words since he was constantly getting his breath taken out.
Haruto then lunged at Mebuki but he was punched out of the air by a pink haired girl, "Don't lay a paw on my mom!" She said, the girl was Sakura.
As Naruto was still being thrown around becoming more bloodied by the second, Kiba finally stepped up and ran at Mebuki.
"Get her Akamaru!" Kiba shouted as he jumped to her leg, holding her down.
Akamaru bit Mebuki's calf which caused her to stumble a bit.
As she was about to attack Akamaru, she suddenly couldn't move. She looked down and saw her shadow connected to the pineapple haired Shikamaru.
"Shadow Possession Jutsu was a success" Shikamaru said as he was crouched down with his hand together in a rat hand sign.
Mebuki then looked towards Naruto and saw a fat kid with spirals on his cheek giving Naruto water.
Choji gave Naruto water and wiped off the blood and tears from Naruto's face, "Are you alright, Naruto?" Choji asked with a concerned look on his face.
She then noticed the sounds of bugs coming from all around her, as she looked up she saw around 100 bugs surrounding her, she followed where they came from and saw a boy with shades and a coat with no hood holding his arms out, "you have no chance of winning this battle, stop now" Shino said with no sign of emotion in his voice.
There were boos all around coming from the crowd but the boys didn't waver, if anything they only looked angrier . . . besides Shino, you can never tell with Shino.
The floors and walls were painted red with Naruto's blood and yet she didn't feel any remorse, she only closed her eyes, a sign of surrender, to which the boys let her go.
She stormed out of the building with a slam from the door.
Naruto's friends quickly rushed to him but both Naruto and Haruto were knocked out yet Naruto felt as if he was awake, sleepy but awake.
He tried calling them but his body wouldn't respond, he couldn't move or talk, only his senses and thought were there.
One thing that he heard however was quiet, but to Naruto it was as loud as an explosion, "I guess the fun is over now, that demon is such a pain in the ass."
He instantly recognized the voice, the happy and cheerful Mizuki sensei said it with poison in his words, in that moment Naruto only wanted to stay asleep forever but nothing goes the way Naruto wants it to.
Naruto was taken to the hospital by his friends, his friends would visit him everyday and sometimes even Teuchi and Ayame visited, along with Hiruzen and for some reason, Hinata Hyuga
A kid from their class saw her enter the hospital, he gave a grin at the thought of Hinata and Naruto however it wasn't a good grin.
Hinata seemed to be a shy girl but she always worked hard, she's an heiress to the Hyuga clan so she had to be strong. She had a hairstyle that resembled a duck strangely, it was a dark blue that almost seemed purple, her eyes were pale but that was normal for the Hyuga clan, she wore a bage fluffy sweater with a fire symbol on it.
Hinata seemed flustered while looking at Naruto, her assistant didn't seem to like to be there however, " Hinata-sama, we should not associate with this boy, we must leave" the assistant said coldly and her words hinted with disgust.
"B-but he did nothing wrong, w-why was he a-attacked?" Hinata said quietly, to Naruto she sounded worried, he expected to be spat on because Hinata seemed like she was on a different level than him.
"That matters not, let's go" the assistant said coldly again, Naruto was a bit angered by her.
"When I wake up I'm going to make you pay! Don't you leave!" Naruto shouted on his mind.
He woke up two weeks later and he was forced to go back to the academy.
After the event, he didn't like Mizuki sensei much, he also hated Sakura for hurting Haruto, he couldn't forgive her.
On the other hand he was confused by Hinata, she only visited him once and in that one time she sounded worried yet she didn't talk to him.
Another person that acted differently was Sasuke, his rival, he laughed at Naruto for being beaten up, he acted as if he was a god compared to Naruto so he was looking forward to beating him up.
He didn't care much about other people but his friends so he just focused on trying to become stronger. After meeting Kiba he learned about the role of Hokage, the strongest man in the village, he wanted to become the Hokage that surpasses the all previous Hokage's.
He saw that taking the graduation exam was the fastest way so when the end of the year was coming close he decided to take the graduation test.
Naruto took all that he learned and started to train them, he didn't know what the exam had so he was definitely nervous.
When he entered the exam he was quickly met with a challenge, a writing portion. As Naruto skimmed over the questions something was clear to him, he had to chance on passing.
He answered the questions randomly on the multiple choice questions and put what he thought was an answer to the explanation questions.
After the writing portion he was met with a sparring test, this was what Naruto was looking forward to finally showing off his fighting skills.
However what Naruto was not expecting was that he wouldn't even get to show off because he was knocked out of the ring in less than a second.
Naruto was really mad about it but he knew he could still make it up on the last portion.
The last portion was the Jutsu test, students taking the test have to perform 3 Jutsu, the Transformation Jutsu which allows the user to transform into anything although this is just an illusion put on the body to make it seem like they are an item or a person, the Substitution Jutsu which allows the user to substitute their body for any object nearby, and the Clone Jutsu which allows the user to make a clone of themselves however this is also an illusion.
As Naruto saw students walk out of the room in happiness and with a headband, Naruto grew nervous, Haruto who was sitting on the top of his head like usual gave a small squeak and nuzzled his head into Naruto's hair.
Naruto felt comforted by Haruto and his nervousness turned into excitement.
When he entered the exam room, he was met with 2 sensei's from other classes. When they asked him to do the Transformation Jutsu Naruto grew nervous again.
As he did the required hand sign he turned into an abomination, he had a fox snout and he had red eyes, he even had a tail.
The sensei's grew terrified and quickly knocked him out and dropped him off at the Hokage's office, Haruto following closely behind.
When Naruto woke up he was in a cell sitting down on the hard concrete, Hiruzen staring at him.
"G-gramps? What happened?" Naruto asked while looking around.
"Does he not know? Was that the fox's doing?" Hiruzen thought.
"Well Naruto, you failed the exam, you showed that you are still not ready" Hiruzen said in a stoic voice, his eyes never leaving Naruto's.
"Awe man, so why am I in here? And where is Haruto?" Naruto asked while looking for Haruto.
"Well, we needed to monitor you and your companion for. . . safety measures" Hiruzen said with his eyes growing narrow.
"Well when can we leave?" Naruto asked while still being confused while trying to get up from the floor.
"You can get out now, we just need to see your companion for a bit longer" Hiruzen said while closing his eyes but still being alert.
"Haruto? What did he do? If you hurt him then I'll make you pay you mummy! He's my best friend so you better not hurt him!" Naruto yelled out.
"Then I promise that I will not hurt him" Hiruzen said while putting his palm up, he couldn't promise that Haruto wouldn't be hurt so he used a loophole in Naruto's words.
As Naruto got up and left the cell-like room he rubbed his butt, "couldn't I have been laid down on a bed, my butt feels numb" Naruto said with a grimace on his face.
As Naruto walked to where Haruto was held he saw people in white hazmat suits walking around and the sound a humm that was similar to what chakra being used sounded like.
As he looked into where the sound was coming from he grew pale, he saw Haruto being restrained while people were doing tests on him.
He quickly grew enraged and ran into the room, "what are you all doing?! Leave Haruto alone!" Naruto yelled, growing angrier by the second.
The men looked over at Hiruzen and with a simple nod of the head from him they started to explain, "this animal is a danger to the village, we don't know what it is or what it is capable of so we are doing tests" the man said, his brown eyes glaring down at Naruto.
"Why should you be doing tests on Haruto? He's only 7 years old like me and all he's done was try to protect me, he's my friend so you should leave him alone!" Naruto yelled out at him.
Another person wrote down the new information on a clipboard while the man looked back at Hiruzen.
"Release it, we will for now only observe its actions" Hiruzen said.
The men then took off the restraints and treated Haruto's wounds.
"Here's your kit, hell be fine in a few weeks" the man said as he handed Haruto to Naruto.
As Naruto looked at Haruto he saw an orange aura of pain surrounding Haruto, he felt all his pain and he couldn't stand it, he started crying on the spot.
All of them looked confused at Naruto but they all left him, all except Hiruzen.
"Naruto . . ." Hiruzen said quietly seeing how much this affected him.
Naruto didn't go to the academy the next day for promotion, he stayed home and took care of Haruto.
Later that day, a village council member entered Hiruzen's office, only his lower half showed while his upper body was covered in shadows.
"Do you know what you've done?" the mysterious council member said in a serious and tough, raspy voice.
Hiruzen took a puff from his pipe and then he sighed, "I am aware that this could be bad but I have put him on watch, you don't have to worry" Hiruzen said as he lined back into his chair.
"We could've used it!" The council member shouted.
"We don't know what it's capable of, for all we know this could just be a new species of animal" Hiruzen reasoned.
"Take a look at it, it's clear that it is somehow connected to the boy" The council member said.
"The same boy that doesn't trust anything after you revealed that he held the Ninetails? I have to say, for a smart man that was a pretty dumb move" Hiruzen said with a small chuckle.
The council member stormed out of the room, slamming the door shut.
Wow, this was a long chapter. How many times did you come back in order to read it? or did you listen to it?
It doesn't really matter but at least you finished it...right?
So you may be wondering what an aura is and how it looks. I can't say what that is yet but just think of it looking like cursed energy from JJK
And the mysterious council member returns! wow can you believe that!
Anyways, please give me some feedback and as for the class size, I don't know how bug it is in the original, even after looking for it, so I decided to make it 31 people, if I got that wrong then please tell me so I can fix it. Oh and I don't own Naruto
