Myeol Mang sat in a corner table of the restaurant where he can observe Dong Kyung and her coworkers. He insisted on coming along but not necessarily actively participate. He watches as Dong Kyung and Manager Jo sit across from one another, sipping coffee, talking. He smirks when Manager Jo glances his way, asks,
"By the way, who is that guy, that's been staring at us from back there?"
Dong Kyung turns around, sees him sitting in the corner, lifting his chin in acknowledgement, she quickly turns back around, saying,
"My boyfriend. Pretend he's not there."
Manager Jo gasps, glances towards the corner, as Myeol Mang nods his head in confirmation. She shrieks,
"What? Boyfriend?"
Awhile later, Park Jung Min and Kim Da In arrived at the luncheon, as underlings of Dong Kyung, they were especially happy to see her appearing well and healthy.
Da In wore an elegant white dress, befitting her tall stature and youth, smiled, glancing around, as she was walking behind a handsome youth in his early twenties.
Jung Min wore a grey sweater under a dark grey corduroy jacket, a handsome, tall youth, with a pouting face, who clearly adored his manager. Walking towards Dong Kyung, whining, says,
"Manager, are you okay?"
Dong Kyung glances up at the youth, says,
"I'm okay."
Further whining, moving to hug Dong Kyung, he whimpers,
"Manager, I really missed you."
Da In grabs the scruff of his coat collar, pulls him upwards, fiercely says,
"Stop. Someone is giving you a killer stare."
Confused at her words, Jung Min says, "What?"
He glances around the restaurant, missing the obvious culprit, dumbly asks,
"Who?"
Myeol Mang stiffly sits, ram rod straight, arms folded tightly across his chest, emphasizing his broad shoulders. His dark eyes sent daggers into the youth's back, thick lips turned into deep frown lines.
Da In pointedly looks over at him, glances at everyone, saying,
"I'm not sure. Is he a killer?"
Dong Kyung bows her head.
Manager Jo snickers into her coffee, smirking, says,
"He's her boyfriend."
Jung Min puzzles over this comment, says,
"What?"
Da In looks over at him, matter of fact tone, says,
"So, you owe me your life."
Without any further complications the coworkers finished their luncheon, leaving with hopes of seeing Dong Kyung again soon. As the couple drove away, the threesome argued over Myeol Mang's looks…
Da In says, "He looks too old…"
Manager Jo "No he is younger…"
Jung Min says, "Younger, but shorter than me."
Both women disagree, "No he is taller."
