Author notes. These next two chapters will be taking place in the two-month time skip, you'll see how I want to do it really quickly. Wow theses were a lot shorter than I expected.
Somewhere below the wall's, 850, 1 month after Historia's coronation
Currently sitting in a room with the only lighting being torches and the large crystal being held up by pieces of wood, reflecting that light. I'm playing with a coin just having a one-sided conversation with the crystal containing Annie
"So, While Historia and I were hugging on the floor kind of weirdly, Armin opens the door, gets really red and lets out really quickly some nonsensical apology, before Historia ordered him to calm down and tell her what he came in there for, still really red for some reason, he explains that she needed to prepare for the trial of the nobles that supported the old king." I say recounting what's happened after her capture, and since I'm pretty sure she can her me I leave out magic, but not me 'showing' Historia my Memories
"Hmm what else... oh yeah I was asked to test some of the tech we found, let me tell you. Guns are horrible, that's what I'm going with its defiantly not my fault that soldier was shot." I say trying to remember more things
'it's ridiculous how even with a firearms skill I still manage to miss the target completely' I think slightly pissed off, reaching into my boot I pull out a flask and take a drink of it
"You know I probably should stop drinking; I keep having memory gaps, I mean I woke up in a chair, wearing a nun's vestment, and I had a fully hand written Bible on the desk, It was impeccable, I mean it's been years since I read one and It was written out perfectly, I really hope I wasn't drunk for that." I say truthfully except the Bible was in my inventory not on the desk
'still wondering if I wrote It, if I did why is It in english?' I wonder finding it odd.
'can't forget the stats on those vestments' I think remembering the stats
[Blessed Vestment] "Trust in God's will, thou art protected from all, even death" |Q Godly| ? (S) Requirements not met.
'I'm one-hundred percent sure I can't make Godly items, so I didn't make this, plus I can't actually observe it because, it does the whole item beyond understanding thing, though what does it mean Requirements not met?' I wonder though I'm pretty sure it's not my vestments, but I do have an idea...
'still not talking?' I ask myself? Still hard to determine that, I mean it's not a split personality till you think it's a different person.
"Sorry got off track, after the indent that we both agree is not my fault, Jean and I checked out my house in the Ehrmich district." I relay while remembering that day
Flash back.
Currently carrying a chest full of cloth's inside it to my house that I finally had time to visit, reaching inside I set the chest on a table in the corner of the room, turning around to see Jean struggling to carry another chest, I just stand there trying to see if I can take pleasure from his struggle.
Managing to set the chest down on the floor Jean asks
"What's even in there a bunch of rocks?" Jean asks guessing the contents pretty accurately
"In a manner of speaking." I say not feeling anything, clearly annoyed Jean mumbles something under his breath before saying
"Why am I helping you again?" He asks semi agitated
"Because the only people I befriended during training either turned out to be Titans, or became Queen." I say stating one of the reasons he's here
"Yeah... how did you even befriend them in the first place? Reiner I could see he befriended everyone, but Annie, you two seemed genuinely close." Jean asks while trying to open the chest to see what's inside
"I think they thought I was Ymir." I state truthfully, while making my way towards him
"You mean they thought you could turn into a Titan?" Jean asks clarifying
"Maybe, I probably should have figured out there was something wrong with them a while ago." I state technically lying
"Don't blame yourself they fooled everyone." Jean says trying to reassure me?
"No, I mean I should have paid more attention to what they did, Annie and I snuck out and she tried stalking a noble to find information. And that was only one of the times she did something really suspicious in front of me." I say while watching Jean struggle to open the chest
"Agh, what the hell is in here." Jean yells frustrated with trying to open it, handing Jean a key he uses it to open the chest to see it filled with gems of different types and cuts
"What?!" He exclaims in shock
"You had it right the first time." I say while closing the chest
"Why?... how do you have so many gems?" Jean questions still shocked
"Found them." I answer simply
"You found them?! Why do you need this many gems?" He asks still shocked
'to try and see if they can hold mana' I think before answering
"Yes, I found them, and I don't need all the gems, just these ones" I state while pointing to the chest
"Wait these ones?" Jean says catching onto my statement
"Oh yeah I have a lot more." I say truthfully
"How many gems do you have?!" Jean asks shocked
"Gems about three times what's in that chest, all around wealth, a lot." I say struggling to remember the exact amount I have gathered
"What are you even going to do with all it?" Jean questions exasperated
"Well, most of it is going to be sold to the wealthy and used to reconstructed old parts of the city's, and build new homes, businesses, and go into funding the retaking and rebuilding of Maria." I say laying out exactly what I'm using my amassed wealth for
"Again why? You don't exactly scream generous." Jean asks once more
"give all you have, take only what you need." I say semi quoting before lifting the chest and moving it to the workbench
Flash Back end
Yeah, that was a productive day, got this.
Imbuing (lvl:3|92%) Allows user to imbue an item, increases success chance, and effectiveness by 3%
'Kind of weird it doesn't say what it imbues, not saying the cost makes sense, since it varies. I do have to be careful leveling this up since if it fails the gem explodes.' I think while putting the cap back on my flask
"You know I'm not sure if you can actually hear me." I say trying to remember if she can
"I guess if not, I'm uselessly talking to myself." I state still not one-hundred percent sure if she can or can't
"Hm, what else... Oh I know, I have been ordered to not be anywhere within ten-meters of the kitchens, on a completely unrelated note, we need a new kitchen." I say trying to think of things to tell her
Just sitting her trying to think of anything of important, I can't think of anything else so I say
"Well, that's all that happened in the last month, so see you later Annie." I say while getting up from my chair, walking to the door I knock on it and the soldiers on the other side open the door letting me out
Scene change
Currently I'm scrolling through my inventory, till I get to a certain item, clicking it I get this prompt
Would you like to use Item [Genevieve's memories] (Y) (N)
Pressing the button my vison goes out for a second before it comes back, inside a very spacious bedroom, attempting to move around, my body doesn't move how I want to and instead, sits up from the bed it currently rest
'So that's how this works' I realize as her body just sits there waiting for a few moments, and another bit of time, before a maid with dark hair opens the door, and lets in a black-haired woman caring a bag, the woman walks towards the girl on the bed and says
"Hello dear, are you ready for your check-up?" the woman asks with a smile, getting a small sheepish nod form the girl on the bed
And then it goes dark once more and when I can see again, the girl slightly older, is sitting at a dining table, with a well-dressed man sitting across from her, and they just sit there, calmly having a meal together, well at least till a man in a military uniform, rushes in and whispers something, into his ear, the girl can't really here it, but I definitely notice the way the man's face pales, before he shoots his chair back and yells
"Go and get the carriage ready now!" the man commands the soldier before rushing towards the girl and grabbing her by the shoulders
"Genevieve, I need you to go with Emiline, and have her take you to the stables, and I want you to both flee to wall rose." the man orders with a level voice and a calming smile
"Uncle?" The girl Genevieve asks her voice laced with worry, smiling once more the man says
"Don't worry, I've just thought it time to send you off for your education in the capital." The man says clearly lying, and trying to get Genevieve to leave as quickly as possible, taking her hand he leads her through the door. Which caused you guessed it, my vision to cut out.
It seemed this, was to slowly ease my way into the memories, as it starts picking up pace showing me flashes of different events in this girl's live, barley allowing me to retain them, and only remembering them due to keen mind, and it flashes on the last memories of me kneeling next to her with blood splattered across my face, and nothing in my eyes.
And then I come back into focus with this infront of my face.
Item Removed, [Genevieve's memories]
"Angelica...Angelica?" Sasha says while waving a hand infront of my face, snapping me out of my stupor I give her an acknowledging hum
"Are you okay? You kind of space out for five minutes." she asks, while sliding my drink away from me
"Oh sorry, its nothing." I lie while grabbing my drink, and finish the entire thing
"Are you sure, the entire time I've known you, it's been extremely fake over the top cheerfulness." Jean chimes in
"Yes, I'm fine." I responded, before trying to organize and look through my thoughts. Listing the events, I saw in my head
her fleeing from Maria with her maid, her going to a school in the capital, the death of her uncle, finding out who did it, hunting down and killing the MP's involved, and a few trying to stop her, her trying to kill her emotions by killing completely uninvolved people, Kenny kicking the shit out of her, while asking her questions, and him giving her an ultimatum, and finally her answer.
And with all that I saw I conclude that
'I hate her... I legitimately hate her!' I realize that I hate her not for her attempt at revenge, not the fact it led her to kill Ford, not even the innocents she killed, but for the fact she tried to get rid of her guilt by getting rid of everything she felt, because she tried to get rid of something I would massacre thousands for.
"Angelica... uh, you're making a really scary face right now" Sasha says slightly afraid
And that's all, this chapter was meant to be a lot longer, but I got really sick half way through writing it, don't worry it's not covid. so sorry about that, anyway here's Angelica's stat page
