Blinx's Halloween trip...

Sunset falls on a world of luscious green plants and naturalistic orange and beige buildings. Windows filled with baskets from their sills. hanging baskets of red and yellow flowers abound; and amongst this pleasant, almost picturesque scene, Blinx joyously ran through this bright, vibrant world. sweeping up trash to shoot at the monsters polluting said world.

Blinx was approaching the final monster, and set his sights on it. An octoballoon, floating around aimlessly. Blinx set his sights on the time moster and shot at it, with a large anvil careening toward the octobaloon at a rapid pace. Shattering on impact, the anvil crfashed into the octoballoon, dropping it to the floor in a loud 'thud'. Blinx waitwed for the monster to be checked off his list, yet it didn't. It stayed there. flat, on the floor. Blinx slowly walked over to investigate.

Looking at the monster in point blank range, Blinx noticed how it appeared to be wheezing. Its eyes locked with Blinx, making it point its circular mouth at Blinx in a weakened fashion. and in one last effort, coughed a grey cloud carrying green flakes directly in Blinx's face. The octoballoon started to fizzle away, materialising time crystals in its place.

Blinx covered his eyes, the cloud touching and irritating his eyes in a bout of searing pain. The wincing and the shock forcing him to breathe in the cloud and the flakes. The irritation in his trachea forcing more coughs, and the coughs taking in more of the cloud. Once Blinx stabilised his breathing,. he looked at his hands, feeling a slight tingle in them.

Staring at his pearly white gloves, Blinx started to see a pale white mist coming from them. Could they be? Burning! Blinx started to feel his hands burn from the coverings, and pulled them off in quick succession. Looking at his bare hands, they shook with violent motions. Turning the palms to face hims, he could swear the tips of the fur started to singe. the edges of his fur blackening, with the discolouration slowly traveling to the skin underneath. Blinx's eyes darted to the crystals in front of him, they seemed to rotate in ways that would normally not happen. as if the inside spun one direction, and anything a certain distance from the centre broke off and spun concentrically in the opposite direction. Blinx's breathing became shallow and laboured, the fear in him rising. He did not know what was happening to him.

Blinx looked up at the sky above and saw the sun start the bend in the middle, deforming into a heart shape. The clouds blurred a little, revealing stars behind them, whilst the bare blue sky stayed undistorted. The heart shaped sun deformed further, soon it was clear the sun seemed to splitting in two, with stretchy trails of sun desperately clinging the two halves together. Even this wouldn't stop the fracture, as one by one, each of the thick, globby stretches broke. With the last one making a sound best described as a train wheel squeeling down a long tunnel. The sunlight immediately flashed out of view, the night sky underneath showing stars streak and smear in opposite directions to each other across the expanse.

Clearly distressed, Blinx put both of his hands to the sides of his face, and ran them down his cheeks, with wet, red trails staying where the hands once were. Blinx looked back down to his hands and saw his palms missing their skin, the red, bloodied muscle underneath exposed. Blinx's breaths became more erratic, desperately pulling together a scream.

Blinx felt a presence behind him, turning his head quickly to see what it was. He could only see its silhouette, but it was large, towering over him. It lacked any real limbs, detaching slimy, basic shaped limbs from its gooey mass. It spoke to him in garbled splutters and growls. Blinx lost his own ability to speak, screeching in fear like a feral cat. He dropped on all fours and ran like a wild animal, desperate to escape from the cursed entity. He turned corner after corner until he found himself trapped in a dead end. he skidded to a halt, still on all fours.

Blinx looked at his hands once again, and saw their muscly underneaths had been stripped away, in its place bening solid bone, with skin from the back of hands dangling from his stumpy wrists. He pulled his degloved fingers together a slight amount and reached to the top of his head. Holding his head, he looked at the ground for a moment, panic starting to take its toll on him. Reaching a small amount further back, Blinx noticed a small flap of skin stuck to the back of his head. his boned fingers clasped it, and slowly peeled the skin away in one large layer. the skin carried over his scalp, taking his ears with it. reaching the top of his eyes, the flap peeled his face away, too. Leaving his bare skull, with his eyeballs still in their sockets. the flap of face skin drooped over the front of his works jacket. Taking one last struggled breath in, Blinx collapsed to his knees, grabbed the sides of his head and let out one last blood curdling scream as his eyeballs slowly started to melt away. melted eyes dripping on the floor, Blinx fell on his side, silent.

as soon as Blinx hit the floor, all the distortions snapped away. the sun shined once more. The slimy figure Blinx ran away from actually turned out to be a Tom Tom. Walking up to Blinx, he saw the sweeper convulsing and shaking on the floor. Blinx lacked any horrific deformities, but his eyes were contricted into harsh slits, and his mouth frothed violently and bountifully. The Tom Tom poked at Blinx with a long stick, but Blinx stayed stiff and shaking. Looking around, the Tom Tom had a frantic and worried expression on his face as he tried to lump Blinx over his shoulder and carry him away.
