Alicia hums, tapping her nails against her leg, peering out of the car window as the taxi makes its way through the unfamiliar streets. Leaving Andre with Sofia and taking a flight to Pennsylvania again feels like she's doing this too often, but it's Ricardo's first wrestling appearance after rehab, and she wants to be there for him.
"There it is," she says in awe, staring out of the car window at the building the week's wrestling event is being held. Once she pays, she slides out of the car and dashes up the sidewalk, heading up the side of the building to the entrance, when a hand grips her wrist and tugs her inside. She gasps and brings her hands up to defend herself when she realizes. "Ricardo!" she slaps playfully at his chest as he laughs and pulls her closer.
"I've missed you," he says, kissing her, and she hums.
"I've missed you too," she sighs. "You need some help getting into your wrestling gear?"
He laughs. "I'm not sure if you'd actually help me get dressed though" he teases her.
She gasps. "How dare you! I'll have you know, I have nothing but innocent intentions here."
"Alright," he says. "I'll exculpate you from that allegation. Maybe." He watches as her fingers trail dangerously around his neck.
"Maybe not," she mumbles, tugging him closer and kissing him intensely.
He laughs, slowly extracting himself from her after a few moments. "Alright. Well, this is your second time in Pennsylvania, what are you thinking? Do you need more time, or...?"
"I think it's perfect," she breathes into his lips, easing in for another kiss. "I can picture us raising Andre here."
He stares at her, gentle and affectionate. "Really? You'd want to do this with me?"
She nods. "I do. I think... you're already happier here than you ever were in California, and I know you're getting booked a lot, which make you even happier. So yeah, I think we should stay." She cradles his hands in hers and lifts them, kissing his palms.
"Thank you," he says. "I can't promise that this will be the last change in our lives, you know how I am. But I'll do my best to make this one last for awhile." He leans in and kisses her again. "I've gotta go get ready for my match. I love you."
"Kick some ass for me tonight," she says, smoothing his hair back with a gentle brush of her fingers and a soft smile. "I love you too."
He smiles at her before turning around and taking his leave.
She hums and heads for her seat, taking a minute to take it all in, from the vitrine shelves surrounding the walls showing off different plaques and awards granted to the event hall they're in, to the interesting skyline just visible through the glass windows across from her. "I think I'll like it here," she says with a faint smile.
