Ricardo yawns, scrubbing at his face. "What time is it?" he mumbles.

Alicia chuckles over his shoulder and kisses the side of his face. "About noon," she tells him. He groans and rolls over, hands resting on her hips. "You sleep alright after that zoom call?"

"Yeah," he mumbles, hand tracing lazily up and down her back. "It was a good call, real informative."

She smiles down at him. "Glad you enjoyed yourself. I was a little concerned when I woke up and you still weren't in bed."

"Sorry," he yawns. "Didn't wanna bother you so I stayed in the living room with the laptop."

"I appreciate it," she informs him. "If you wanna sleep a little longer, the bed's all yours."

"Nah, I'll try to stay awake," he grumbles, sitting up and rubbing his eyes, looking so much like Andre after a nap in this moment that it makes Alicia ache with affection for them both. "Where are the kids?"

"Andre is watching cartoons with Sofia, and the twins are conversing among themselves in their cribs," Alicia says, brushing her fingers through Ricardo's messy dark hair. "I'm thinking about what to make for lunch. Any ideas?"

Ricardo yawns and stretches and finally manages, "Maybe tacos? I think Sofia still has some of that meat in the fridge that only needs reheated."

"Sounds good," Alicia agrees, but makes on move to leave him, resting her head on his shoulder. "You're comfy."

"I am," he agrees, wrapping his arms around her. "Your recent tweets are very pretty."

"Thank you," she says, kissing his jaw. "And thank you for helping me take some of them."

Ricardo smiles, petting his hands lazily through her hair. "My pleasure. You know that."

She chuckles. "I do." She nuzzles into him and sighs. After a few moments, she reluctantly pulls away. "Well, let's go work on those tacos, huh?"

He makes a face but obliges, allowing her to pull him to his feet. "Alright," he sighs, following her in.

She stops in the doorway and kisses him intently. "Like I said, bed's ready for you whenever you need it."

"If you come with me," he teases.

She rolls her eyes. "Let's see after lunch."

"I'll take it," he says, following her into the kitchen to begin working on lunch.
