"Whatcha got there, bud?" Alicia asks, coming into the living room after putting the twins down for their naps. Andre is sitting in the middle of the floor, leaning over something large that she can't see from this angle. "Is that a map?"
"Daddy gave it to me," the little boy says, kicking his feet against the floor as he analyzes the different states. "It's very big, mommy."
"It is," Alicia laughs, leaning over and hoisting him up to settle him in her lap once she sits down. "So why exactly did daddy give you this?" She traces the shape of Pennsylvania with her finger, glancing down at her son.
"He wanted me to see the various places he's wrestled at," Andre explains, staring down at the map with wide eyes. Alicia only leans her head back in time to avoid her son as Andre drops his head back quickly to look up at her. "Did you travel to wrestle a lot too?"
"I did," she says with a smile. "I probably traveled more than your daddy did at times."
"Wow," Andre murmurs. "Why did you stop?"
Alicia gives herself a moment to think. "Well," she sighs. "After being with WWE for so many years, I realized it wasn't really making me happy anymore. And your daddy wanted to leave Florida, so I went with him. Then I wanted to have you and your sisters, and I wanted to begin working with fashion again, so here we are."
Andre stares up at her. "Are you happy now, mommy?"
She beams at him. "Of course I am. I have your daddy, and Sofia, and you and your sisters. Not to mention this beautiful house, and new friends that I met after moving here. My life is very amazing right now. I'm the happiest I've been in a long time."
"I'm happy you're happy, mommy," Andre tells her with the sweet sincerity only a child his age can manage.
She giggles and rocks him back and forth a bit, turning her attention back to the map. "What do you say we go through this and I show you all of the places your daddy's been to recently, and will be going to in the next few weeks?"
Andre claps his hands excitedly. "Yes, please mommy!"
Alicia giggles and kisses his cheek before grabbing a pencil, leaning forward to mark the various Pennsylvania cities Ricardo's been touring with his wrestling school. The more she marks, the wider Andre's eyes get. "It's a lot, huh, baby boy?"
"It is," he says in awe. "I miss him when he's gone, mommy."
"I do too," Alicia says, double checking Ricardo's instagram account to make sure she hasn't forgotten anything. "But I know that he'll be home as soon as he can, and holding these events make him very happy."
Andre nods, clinging to her shirt. "I like daddy being happy too."
Alicia beams at her son, making a couple of more notes on the map. "Be too, honey. Me too."
