Waking up to this familiar message is a young man known as Jin Su. The son of Yin Su and the next in line to inherit Su, industries. Jin is fifteen years old with unique features given his Albino genetic disorder. His skin is a stark pale like color, his eyes are a dull lilac color while his hair is bleach white and spiky on his head. He is rather skinny and doesn't play much with other kids in the city of Gotham since he is a prime target for the bullies.
Jin is wearing one of his tank tops and boxer shorts while he tossed the cover off his bed and stood up a bit before mentally dismissing the game screen that appeared in front of him.
For two weeks Jin had come to the realization that his life had somehow transformed into that of a videogame and the moment he found that out he was given a quest unlike anything he expected!
Quest Alert!
Name: Discover your gift
Objective: Discover who gave you the power of the 'Game' and for what purpose it serves.
Rewards: 100,000 EXP, other items will be given upon completion of the quest!
Failure: Never understanding or reaching your maximum potential!
The quest was written in gold letters, and he was given the option to accept or deny it. He accepted the quest because it gave Jin something to try and work towards.
Jin didn't have many talents, nor did he have the respect of his father, but Jin was determined to try and change that and now that he has been given this rare gift, he was going to study harder and try to get fit so he can strike out on his own and finally get his father to acknowledge him.
Jin was taken out of his thoughts when he heard a knock at the door. So, after allowing the person to enter his room he saw that it was his mother, Min Su.
Min is a beautiful model for a few magazines that centered around Asian beauty and what not. At the moment she is in a simple blue tracksuit and pants with sneakers on her feet and a towel resting on the back of her neck and draped over her shoulders.
"Hey mom. I was just getting out of bed."
"I'm aware. You always tend to sleep in nowadays. I simply came here to tell you that your father wishes to speak with you about something of great importance." Min replied before she walked up and ruffled her son's hair. "You have your father's sharp features, but you have my kind heart. I know things have been rough for you and your father hasn't been the kindest person to talk with. But just try to remember that he is under a lot of pressure right now."
"I know mom. Besides when I start making some business moves of my own, I'll get father to finally say he's proud of me." Jin said back with his own kind smile making Min smile in return before giving her son a quick kiss on his forehead before she left his room.
Jin gathered some clothes before entering his private bathroom where he cleaned himself up and got dressed in a long-sleeved grey shirt with blue jean pants and black boots on his feet. Afterwards, he walked the halls of the mansion before entering his father's private quarters for work and saw him behind his large and imported decorative desk as he was typing away on a laptop.
Yin was dressed in a crisp and clean looking black suit and pants with dark brown dress shoes and his black hair cut short. He has a black beard over his chin that climbed up the sides of his face into sideburns that climbed into his hair, but his full beard didn't have a rugged look and instead seemed to be just as clean and taken care of as the hair on his head.
"Take a seat."
Jin didn't speak and simply sat in one of the two chairs in front of Yin's desk and waited for his father to speak.
"Soon there is going to be a new business connection set up in China. When the time comes, you are going to board a private jet and lead the Su branch of pharmaceuticals in Shanghai China. Your education and living expenses will be taken care of." Yin explained in a cold manner without looking at his son.
"I understand father, but may I ask you something?"
"What?"
"Is…Is this exile?" Jin asked with a nervousness in his voice that was clear for his father to hear. Jin knew that his father had exiled family members before, such as his older brother Han Su.
"Yes. I've discussed this with your mother and younger sister. They protest but as the head of the family I have final say. I will not tell you the date of when you are leaving, but you are leaving. Our family blood is strong, but you were born weak and feeble. If you cannot become strong in your exile and uphold your responsibilities in Shanghai, then you will no longer be my son. Your name, livelihood, inheritance and place in this house will be forfeited. Understand?"
Jin felt as if his entire world had just crumbled into dust before his eyes. He knew that he was a freak in people's eyes, including his father's, but he had no idea how much his father seemed to dislike his condition that he had no control over. Jin lowered his head to avoid his father seeing the tears that started to form in his eyes when he realized that he might not ever see his mother and little sister again for several years.
"I understand father. May I leave?"
"Yes." Yin said coldly, allowing Jin to stand up and leave the room but when Jin opened the door he spoke.
"Tomorrow morning you will be receiving several documents and books about your new upcoming job. I expect you to study and memorize the details in addition to the schoolwork you already have."
"Of course." Jin said before he left the room and closed the door behind him and felt his throat tremble while tears slid down his face.

This quest has been forced upon you and cannot be denied!
Jin didn't talk to anyone for the rest of the day and instead he walked back into his room and shoved his face into his pillow and cried silently.
Anger, sadness, and pain all surged through Jin's mind as he wanted to scream but he didn't dare make that kind of sound. His father seemed to have hated him enough and he didn't want to make the situation worse.
Jin thought about how he told his mother that he wanted to make his father proud and honestly, he still did, but it didn't change the fact that Jin felt as if his father never truly cared for him at all.
END!
A/N: Ok I'm back and I'm making a story with a slow burn feel to it. DC comics is a huge place and in my previous DC story I made a comment about not finding anyone with Qi.
Turns out there is an entire roster of Chinese characters in the DC universe that I've never heard of and now I plan to take inspiration from them and possibly include them into this story.
Also, this story is going to focus a lot on martial arts, culture and a journey that our protagonist is about to endure. I'm going for a real martial artist's type story as my way of saying thank you to Akira Toriyama for all the wonderful and whacky adventures he showed me as a kid and let me play in the videogames that came from him and his team.
Anyway, that's all I've got for right now. Please remember to fav, follow and review.
