Hello, this is Martin and welcome to my next experiment. I have to remind you that i am trying character development here so things should be…you know what? Nevermind. This whole story is an experiment. Enjoy. :)

Chapter 5

Johns hideout, one year and half later

"It wasn't easy. I faced a lot of problems, made mistakes and almost caused the Resident Evil script…. But I finally succeeded", John spoke to the camera.

"For all you potential watchers, I present to you the T-Virus…"

"Uh John?" The AI spoke and Anabel's avatar appeared on the table next to John. „Perhaps it would be better to explain to viewers that this is not THE T-Virus and…"

"Yes, I'll get to that.", he jumped in to tell her.

"Translated: he'd completely forget about it."

John put on an exasperated expression, while Anabel laughed.

"Uh well. Yes, it's basically the Tyrant Virus, or T-Virus. Why do I call it that? Because it's almost…almost the same as the T-Virus from the Resident Evil movie series and I took inspiration from it. But I made my own modifications to it. Now, it may not be perfect, but it can be improved over time with other substances. Just introduce them into the bloodstream and it will do its thing."

He picked up the jar from the table and pointed it at the camera. It was a glass container with a dark red substance. At one end was a needle that would get the virus into the body.

"Now, back to the point. Basically, the virus acts as both a super-serum and some sort of vaccine to eradicate certain diseases. After the virus is injected, I should gain more strength, better reflexes, stamina, enhanced senses, a more resilient skeleton, and a boosted immune systém and faster recovery. This is only theoretical, as the simulations may not be accurate and won't find out…until I administer it personally. If something goes wrong, it might also kill me in the process. The chances of me surviving the process are roughly around 22-34 percent. However, I have increased this to at least 45 percent by using other substances."

He looked at the container, took a breath. He rolled up his sleeve and prepared himself.

"Damn…I never believed I'd get to this point. Damn it.", he said out loud to himself and injected himself.

Once he got the full dose in him, he froze, dropping the container on the table, which rolled off the table and onto the floor. Fortunately, it didn't break.

I clenched my fist, literally feeling it flow inside me. I could feel the pressure. My head was starting to hurt, everything was starting to hurt.

"John?"

I growled. Oh my god, I feel like I'm boiling. I was hot. Hell was just coming on now. I jerked violently, screamed. It was definitely working, but already…fuck! The pain escalated, I grabbed my head and screamed. I jerked like a fish out of water until the cramps and seizures came. I fell out of my chair and rolled around on the floor. My vision was blurring, my ears were ringing.

John wasn't screaming anymore, just jerking. He was having some kind of seizure. Anabel screamed at John, but it was no use. His eyes were red, his veins darkened. Then he stopped twitching. It looked like he was already dead. His heart practically stopped. The virus had already spread everywhere in his body, but the cardiac arrest was only a temporary side effect. The substance was only then starting to také effect, the immune systém was first in line along with regenerative abilities and senses such as sight and hearing, reflexes too. The heart didn't jump back on until an hour later.

I woke up after about three hours. My head was pounding in an incredible way. I felt very strange, I was cold, everything hurt. I slowly sat up to look around. The first thing I noticed was my eyesight. I was able to focus at a slightly greater distance. I could see better. My hearing had also improved. Suddenly I could hear much farther than before. I felt disoriented now.

"Welcome back to the living John.", I heard a womanÿs voice.

Anabel, her avatar glowed on my desk and she was smiling at me.

"It looks like the spasms and seizures along with the cardiac arrest were just temporary side effects, but the virus is starting to také effect, though the results may také days, weeks. How are you feeling?"

"I'd rather not be, I can see a few days rest. I'm not feeling well.", he replied in a weak tone.

I slowly shuffled over to my sleeping bag, climbed in and fell asleep.

"So…two weeks have passed and the virus is really working. The results are coming through. Sight, hearing, reflexes, immune systém with regeneration came first. I went for a run and a workout yesterday. I didn't feel too tired. Just a little. Normally I'm always so exhausted that I had to také a breather for the rest of the day. Now? I might as well do a double také. I'm also starting to feel the strength and the speed. It's not immediate, it's gradual.", John spoke to the camera on the table.

"Honestly…I don't know where or when it will stop. But one thing is for sure, I'm not going to make this virus again. Ever."

He reached for the camera and stopped the recording.

Rising from his chair, he started walking towards the Warthog.

"What's your plan?"

"I think it's time to start rounding up some people.", he replied, getting into the car.

The Warthog had been extensively modified. John had added a roof and extra protection to the vehicle. So the driver wouldn't be so exposed. The rear compartment could be used to carry cargo, materials and other items. John has also modified the interior, including the on-board systems and a few small things. It looked more futuristic and much sleeker. It was also much more spacious anf comfortable.

I had plans, big plans. But I couldn't have done it alone. I needed to get people first. And that's going to be my goal in a few months now.

I started the car, started the vehicle, pulled into the driveway and headed into town. I took a detour so I wouldn't attract anyone to my hideout. I would have been very reluctant to do that. I drove down a road that led through a thick and dark forest. It may have been daylight, but the surroundings were dark. Sometimes I felt as if I could see something in the distance, in the darkness. I was delirious again, it was because of several nightmares that seemed to come at regular intervals several times a week. Which led to my so far lousy sleep. Now I had a virus in me…we'd better call it a serum now. I should feel safe, instead I feel vulnerable.

Admittedly, not as much as before the serum, but…I'm gonna need a suit. What scares me most now are the Spartans. I'm not at a stage where I can fight them.

They have the suits, they have the technology, they have the weaponry, they have all the resources, and they have mostly THEM. ONI is also one big problem that presents significant difficulties…but not for long. In the near future, no one will even remember ONI. Anabel…as for Anabel, she is learning much faster than I had anticipated. Yes, she's still struggling with other competing Ais, but she's starting to learn that and more, she's even slowly adapting already and there's no doubt about it. That it will learn to isolate and destroy very soon. Which is quite frightening in its own way. Fortunately, my cautious approach has prevented any major catastrophe. Now I had to concentrate. I exited the woods onto a more solid road, which led to the main road, which led to the highway. I increased my speed and drove.

"What's it like around here?", I asked Anabel.

"Everything is fine so far. I might recommend extra caution for…you know what."

"Understood. Try to disturb them somehow, avoid following them. I don't care how you do it, I'm not going to interfere."

"With pleasure.", she replied.

At first I was reluctant and unwilling to go into direct contact with people I could find. I wanted to put myself in the role of observer for the time being. I'd drive by one town, look around, fill up, and move on to the next. I drove around the area around my hideout like this. Unfortunately, there was an unpleasant situation in one of the smaller towns.

I was driving down the street, looking for a suitable place to park, and I intended to walk further.

-

"Hi… I'm Jessica, but you can call me Jess… um…" Sitting in front of the camera was a woman around 37 years old, black short hair in a messy ponytail, tank top, black gloves, hazel eyes, brown pants and sneakers. The space behind her suggested they were in John's hideout. The camera was currently filming her alone, but there were other voices in the back. The lights illuminated the entire cave beautifully.

"Try to tell the audience how you got to John, what happened?" came a female voice. An orange avatar of Anabel appeared next to Jessica.

"Oh… Yes, yes, yes… right. To be honest, I wasn't expecting him at all. I was in a very bad situation when he bumped into me." „I see," Anabel replied.

-

I heard voices coming from the subway. I was curious. I had my gun drawn under my vest. I cautiously made my way to the staircase while quickly putting the gun away. The weapon looked more like a 21st century XM-8, which unfortunately never made it into mass production. It did, however, have some minor features of the MA5 and AUG EVO. The magazine was located in front of the trigger, the stock was more similar in appearance to the MA5, there was a counter with a sight on the top, there was an angled grip behind the magazine, there was a silencer on the barrel, and there was a flashlight on the left and a green laser on the right.

There were modified and improved SSA SLAP and Hollow Point cartridges. I haven't given it a title yet, I just finished it yesterday. I've been fucking around with it for five months by the way. Anabel still had to explain to me what and how it works, why it's there and how the guns even work, how to put it together properly, etc etc. I'm surprised she stuck it out with me. It was awful…but it was fun at least. I was slowly descending the staircase. When I got almost to the end of the staircase, I realized the voices I was hearing were just muffled gunfire. I couldn't tell from a distance. I got to the edge of the wall and cautiously peered over the edge. I saw a group of armed people and a woman kneeling with her hands behind her head. No one said anything for a while. It was strange. Fortunately, the subway was deserted, so no one else would be hurt. In the midst of my observation, memories of the day I lost my girlfriend began to come back to me. I crawled behind the wall and closed my eyes, sitting on the ground, leaning against the wall.

"John? What's wrong?", Anabel spoke to me. She had already learned to speak much quieter, co6 is quite impressive and it just proves what I said earlier. I shed a tear, I hated to think about it. It's always made me feel so remorseful.

"Kill her.", I heard a man's voice from behind the wall.

"W-what…wait!" You can't do that!", the woman screamed.

I struggled with my memories. Pick up the fucking gun! A voice in my head yelled at me.

I don't know… Fucking do something! He's gonna die! There were voices in my head screaming at me. I stopped. The voices in my head stopped. I felt anger. I grabbed the gun, I peeked, I aimed, I fired. Blood splattered everywhere, and the gunmen were taken by surprise.

-

"He appeared out of nowhere…he saved me. I don't even know who these guys were or what they wanted. Maybe it had something to do with the information I had but…I don't know."

"What happened next?", the AI questioned.

"What happened next? Well…"

-

After shooting everyone in sight, I grabbed my wife by the arm and we ran to my car.

"Hey…can you at least tell me who the hell you are!", she yelled at me.

"Not here!"

From around the corner, another man with a knife lunged at me. It came instantly, just as I was startled and promptly gave the man a full force blow job. The blow was so powerful that it not only broke a couple of the attacker's ribs, but threw him across the alley into an empty wall, which cracked under the impact.

"Shit…I need to work on that…", I said to myself.

I had accidentally scared the woman now. Cool. But whatever, we had to get out of here. We hopped in the car, I quickly started it up, locked the doors so she wouldn't accidentally jump out in the middle of my drive, hit the gas and got out of there as fast as I could. We arrived at the hideout in three days, I had to try to lose any possible pursuers.

-

Another two years pasts over.

It only took a few days, less than a week, for Jessica to get used to it. John was a very special person to her. His height was much greater than the average human height. His strength was immense and seemed to increase with each passing day or week. But there was one little thing, one little thing that kept her up. It was his personality. What was he really up to? From what John had described to her one day, it brought up a lot of questions. Was he a rebel? No, definitely not, this was something else. To Jessica, John's goals seemed almost extreme…steal a ship, také over the colonies from the rebel leaders, build a new force and separate from the UEG, become independent? While there were similarities to the rebels and their goals, this was still different.

There were also rumors as to whether this decision was made as if he wanted to do it on his own or if his actions were influenced by emotion. Every time she passed him, she looked at him, looked into his eyes. Same expression, no matter how hard he tries to hide it. She's seen anger, hatred, rage, but also sadness. This man must have gone through something terrible. His AI, Anabel, often talked to Jessica, it was exciting for the AI because of the fact that she could be in contact with another human. Anabel expressed her concerns about John's condition from a psychological perspective. He was refusing help, he wouldn't open up, he wasn't going to share anything, he was just going after his goal. In two years, John had managed to find and win many people to his side – including some of the crew of the Valiant superheavy cruiser parked at the dock. John considered it a success. He'd basically gotten three-quarters of the ship's crew, including a quarter of the security detail.

"What are you thinking about?" came a male voice behind Jessica.

She thought. She sat on the edge of the cave, staring into the distance. Their hideout had grown, pelicans had been added, trackers had been deactivated in progress. Anabel provided cover from satellites and radar and other detection systems on the colony.

"Over nothing…just maybe I'm worried…", she replied.

"John?"

A man in camouflage fatigues with a cap and MA5 sat down next to Jessica. His name was Rick and he was a former member of the UNSC Army.

Jessica nodded.

"Heh…this isn't like the Covenant…Elites, Bruti. This is where history begins to be made. I'm kind of curious how John plans to convince the rebel leaders of the colonies. The rebels, much less our Marines, soldiers, or ODST, will not be happy with this cooperation."

"He'll come with something up."

She said, watching the sunset. She turned to John who sat at the table with the scientists for a moment, assembling the weapons. They had a lot of material in there, it was a mess. Then she turned back.

"It starts in a week…we'll take the ship…and…and…well…somehow I don't know what to say, hehe.", Ricky said.

-

"Hi, I'm Sergeant Ricky, UNSC Army. I'm one of the people John invited to join the group. I have to say, there are nice people here, a nice group. We're going to také over Valiant in a week and start annexing and unifying the outer rebel colonies. Sometimes there will be a few disagreements, but otherwise we'll get along. But there is one thing… I've met Elites on the battlefield a few times, god…you should have seen how scared I was. I was fucking careful not to become their target. Let alone the Brutes… they're literally gorillas on steroids. Scary sight. I literally feared for my life. Now I've met John and…I want the Elites and the Brutes back.", Ricky spoke into the video camera.

-

I went to bed late. I worked out before I went to bed. I know it's a little weird having the serum in me but…it's a sure thing for me. Something strange happened. I squinted my eyes, felt the cold floor. When I tried to open my eyes, a bright light blinded me. It didn't také long to get used to it. I slowly sat up, no longer in my cave.

I was in some strange windowless corridor. The walls were white, the floor was marble, the ceiling was supported by pillars against the walls. The ceiling itself was arch-shaped and beautifully decorated, as were the pillars themselves. I stood up carefully. I didn't even have my gun. I looked around, not knowing where to go first. The whole thing seemed so real that I even doubted if it was actually a dream. I headed to the right, walking slowly. I reached the end of the corridor, only to find it at an intersection. I looked around with great curiosity. It was just beautiful, but I was afraid of getting lost.

I saw a figure in the corridor to my right. He was wearing a robe…actually I don't even know if it was a man or a woman. The figure's robe was orange-red with golden patterns. The figure was clutching both hands, the sleeves hanging loosely on his arms. When I focused, my eyes widened. It had the appearance of a flying man. It had a beak colored brown, orange-red feathers, red eyes…almost like a phoenix. It was just like my dream from earlier.

"Hello!?", I tried.

I slowly approached. The figure looked lost. Is this really just a dream? Was I going crazy? But wait…that look.

"Do you need help?!", I was already about twenty meters away from the creature.

But wait…that look…why is he looking at me like that? I could see sadness, disappointment, even his eyes seemed to glisten. Is he crying? Why is she looking at me like that? As I approached, the creature turned and walked away from me.

"H-hey! Wait!"

I sped up. I ran after the creature. Did I do something wrong? The figure turned the corner, and when I ran around the corner as well, I lost it completely. But how? It had nowhere to hide. I ran through the area a few times and hmed then I realized I shouldn't have done that. I was lost.

"Are you looking for someone?", came a voice behind me.

I quickly turned around. Wait…

"Yes, I might be the one from your dream."

What the hell, did he just read me…

"Thoughts? Yes, it's one of my abilities."

He looked just like the creature I met a moment ago.

"H-h-hello?", I stammered.

"It's a pleasure to meet you."

Okay…this is weird. I don't know what to believe anymore. What kind of dream is this? What the hell is going on!

"How about we take a little walk?", he spoke again, his hand pointing to the hallway behind him.

One thing that was shocking was that he could speak English like he was born that way. Absolutely perfect English.

I nodded cautiously.l and slowly followed. I was expecting some kind of trap, but nothing.

"Umm…w-what's wrong? Is it just a dream?", I asked in confusion.

"Depends on how you look at it."

This place was so huge and breathtaking. I didn't even have time to look at everything carefully. My mind was completely overwhelmed. I got a chance to look outside as we were passing the window and I couldn't comprehend it at all. In front of me was a rather large city, but the city looked so futuristic and at the same time it looked like it was in the modern era, medieval…maybe gothic? I don't know, history isn't my strong suit honestly. But this is just so amazing, I don't even understand how someone managed to design this so that the two styles don't clash at the same time. Incomprehensible.

"W-what?" was about all I could say.

"We have a better view here, too. I see you're already so busy, though. But I'd like to move on to the point of why we're here in the first place."

I looked at him uncomprehendingly.

"Your goals…why are you doing this?", he asked.

I figured where he was going with this. I frowned. I thought about the answer until I came up with something.

"I'm doing this for the people who were thrown overboard by the UEG and left to fend for themselves."

"Really? Watching you, something seems to be bothering you. Are you sure of your answer?"

Now that was strange.

I felt like I was being interrogated, but…we changed positions in the blink of an eye. Literally, the surroundings around us changed. But in dreams, anything is possible…or is it not a dream? Is it remorse? Is this my subconscious? No really…what the hell is going on here?

"Why do you care so much?"

"I'm just asking. Because I highly doubt this decision of yours is made of your own volition. And I'm not the only one who thinks that. The people…you've gathered…share the same concerns. That your decisions are influenced by emotion. What happened?"

I thought again. This guy was serious. But I didn't know what to say. I had to say something.

"I'm afraid you don't understand the circumstances that led me to my actions…"

"On the contrary, I do understand."

"No, you don't understand anything! The UEG has shit on all of us! They're promoting their interests instead of actually caring about their people! ONI… ONI run amok with no one watching them! They literally have a free hand, do whatever they want, let people go free, kill innocents, and what did the UEG do? She just sat on her ass and watched it like nothing happened! This…uprising…might not have happened if they hadn't shit on the outer colonies! Yes, some of the rebel leaders are a bunch of shitheads, but still! It might not even have happened if…"

"Then do better.", he jumped in, I stared in confusion.

"For God's sake John…you're always complaining about the UEG, ONI but also some of the rebel leaders and how badly they do everything. Then do better, show everyone there is another and better way. You have your practices and visions and obviously better ways, so speak them and prove everyone wrong. Stop crying and complaining about everyone else."

He paused for a moment.

"But I'm wondering one thing…how are you going to help these people if you can't even help yourself? As I mentioned once before, you refuse outside help quite often, so how are you going to accomplish that John?" he asked after a brief pause.

I couldn't answer. In fact, I couldn't come up with any reasonable answer.

"You can't answer? That's okay, you're not supposed to be able to answer."

I stared at the ground, lost in thought. Old memories were surfacing and I wasn't dealing with it any more. The man wasn't talking either, probably giving me space. That's what he says with his ability at reading other people's minds. Such a ability would be interesting though, not that it wasn't. Combined with telekinesis.

"I had a normal life…a perfectly normal life. I had friends…and most importantly family…now? I have nothing. Just a group of people and an AI I programmed. I lost my friends first and I was 5…fucking 5 years old. Then I lost my parents at a slightly older age and why? Just because my father was trying to investigate the disappearance of the kids? For God's sake, it's his job! He was a fucking cop! You have no idea what kind of practices ONI run! They'd bomb one whole world and the UEG wouldn't blink an eye! They're terrorists! It's a terrorist organization and such organizations deserve nothing but to be treated like terrorists!", I was angry, not at him.

I noticed that I was no longer sitting but standing, pacing back and forth. And I let it go. But I continued and raised my voice.

"Then Covenant came along and I lost my girlfriend too! Just when I was starting to live a normal life, and to add to that, later on after the evacuation, they tried to kidnap me and get rid of me, and they're still going to try! ONI is a plague…and what do you do with such plagues, diseases? They wipe themselves out! I won't rest until I see every base, every lab, everything associated with those bastards, burn!", I finished.

The flyer in front of me sighed. I mean, it looked like it, pretty hard to guess.

"So this is the source of your problem. Do I understand correctly? You've lost your parents, your friends, and instead of trying to deal with that you've decided to exterminate. You're not the only one who lost a parent, we all lose someone. And even if your parents were alive now, you'd still watch them die of old age later. I really can't say if I agree or disagree with the practices of this one organization because there must be reasons for these actions of theirs. Honestly…I've seen much worse, this is even milder. I've seen a great many people who have suffered the same loss in a similar manner as you have. And some have been able to go to the extreme. Only to find out later that it didn't really change anything and it got to the point where they regretted what they did until they just committed suicide. I'm not gonna tell you what your plans are. But John…you have a serum you made yourself, you have people who believe in you, you can do great things, aren't you happy with your government? Prove to them, show them there's another and better way. Prove to them that you are better than them and that you can do better than them.", he spoke with complete calmness.

What now? Is it possible that I acted on emotion…what did he mean by I can do great things? Should I get help? Maybe he's right. But there was one thing that was keeping me awake.

"How did they die?", I asked.

He knew what I meant. He probably even knew I was going to ask.

"Two car collision, the driver of the other car was hired by that organization you were talking about. It was disguised as an accident. The vehicle with your parents drove off the bridge and into a cliff.", he replied wistfully.

I lowered my head. So that's what it really is.

"You should go back now. Don't let anyone intimidate you, go for your goal, but always be on your guard. Don't look at the past, you can't control it. But you can influence the future. Good luck on your journey," he said.

I nodded and the space around me began to fade into light.

-

John had already disappeared, he came back, and the figure just watched the space where he stood before.

"Do you think he'll listen?", came a female voice.

"A clash is inevitable…but at least it will be under different circumstances. But if he realizes…give him time."

-

I woke up back in my cave. That was one hell of a weird dream. And it felt so real. I thought a lot about my dream the next day. I tried to také something away from it and change my plans slightly. A week later, it came. The boarding of the Valiant cruiser took place, there was no major fighting thanks to most of the crew I convinced. There were no casualties. We managed to convince the rest of them, including the ship's AI. We left the shipyard, left the planet's atmosphere, jumped into the slip and were on our way to the outer colony sector away from the front.

„Do you really think you'll be able to convince them?", the Captain asked me.

I stood at the window, watching the emptiness of the slipspace, lost in thought. I turned to the captain after a moment and replied, „Those rebel leaders seeking real change will be easy to convince. Those craving power must be deposed by force."

The captain remained silent. He had nothing to say. I walked from the window to the naguitar to see how long before we arrived. I was wearing the new suit we were developing on the colony. It's not very good, we didn't have much technology, it's definitely not up to Mjolnir.

The exoskeleton isn't perfect either, but it will be improved. And we'll be looking for a way to develop a less painful version of the super-server. If we're going to succeed, we're going to need more men and women like me. Above all, we'll have to completely rebuild the military. These little things won't slow us down. We're ready to give the Covenant a good beating.

-

SDV class corvette, gas giant, inner colony sector 2539

"Report!", exclaimed the elite sitting in the chair. The bridge crew were busy gathering and processing the information they had gained from the newly discovered inner colony. The first inner colony of humans. However, the strange events that took place on this planet shocked them greatly. Disguised elites were deployed around the colony to gather information on defenses, the layout of ground generators and bases.

„One human cruiser has just left the planet and entered slipspace."

This left the entire crew on the bridge confused as to where the ship was going? In addition, sources stated that it was a new human-built ship. Something was happening. The Covenant had already made their way to the edge of the inner colony sector, and it was their turn. But still, something was wrong. The special forces on the ground managed to find out that a man named John had defected to the human government. But why did they deal with him so much? What was it? What happened? These questions had been bothering the commander for some time.

"What about the troops on the ground? Have we been spotted?'

„Negative. They haven't noticed us yet. You will have a report from the rest within the hour sir.'

„No," said the commander. „Get them off the planet, I want to hear it in person."

-

N'thul 'Datomee was in his cabin listening to one of the warriors who had returned from his mission to the colony.

„What is this man, this John, what do they call him, what?" he asked.

"According to what we have been able to find out, this man managed to hack into the systems of an organization and bypass their security without any problems. He has information he shouldn't know, so they're trying to get rid of him. They don't succeed. This John shows a strong hatred for this organization they call the Office of Naval Intelligence, or O.N.I. He defected.", answered the Sangheili in front of him.

N'thul thought. This was interesting.

"You are the only one who has watched this man for a long time, how he affects you?"

The Sangheili clenched his jaws nervously.

"He is angry, furious, craving revenge. To be honest…" He paused, looked around, and then back at N'thula. He moved a bit closer and lowered his voice.

"His anger… I have never seen such rage before. It's not apparent at first glance, until you look into his eyes. A normal being, when angered, becomes very aggressive. In a fight, this might seem like an advantage for you, as the opponent stops thinking and becomes predictable. This… this is something entirely different. He is eerily calm. It seems like he is very aware of what he is doing despite his anger. And now, with that serum… I wouldn't want to have this man against me. He can be very convincing. He even managed to practically persuade the entire crew of that fleeing ship. If he can present governments, inhabitants, colonies in such a way…"

"He's just one inexperienced heretic and a group of people! What can they do against the Covenant as a whole? Humans are primitive and…"

"I wouldn't underestimate it… he can be really persuasive. They surely have their sights set on another colony. Once they control it, they will start looking for more colonies in human space. They will try to acquire as many colonies as possible without conflict, and when they have the desired number, support, materials, and finances…"

N'thul pondered. His jaws moved into an irritated expression. However, his eyes concealed worries, uncertainty, nervousness.

"Then we might have a serious problem in a few years… Do we know exactly where they headed?"

"We know the direction they flew, but… I wouldn't bet on it. They could have changed their flight trajectory several times. We should warn the Prophets. This man is strongly against the Covenant and has a strong motivation. We must be prepared for anything," said the Sangheili in front of N'thul.

"You are free, brother. You may go."

The Sangheili nodded and left. N'thul needed to sort out his thoughts in his head. The idea that this one man could threaten the Great Journey is very frightening. However, what would he say to the Prophets? How would he explain it?

-

So…here we go. I hope you have enjoyed the chapter and see you at the next chapter. Things are starting moving finaly.
