Before you read, a little warning from the author.
This is just another trash self-insert with a personality of a rock. His power is the convenience of the author. Since I don't have any plan on how this story will go on even though I have some ideas. I'm just going to say that, frick the cannon. I'm just going to ignore that and have my story go into a different world and ignoring the Kouh.

4. I don't know what I'm doing.
In a dimly lit room, illuminated only by candles, a strange, sinister laughter of a child echoes. Surrounding the room are bizarre objects strewn across the floor, some contained within jars filled with the carcasses of various insects. With the room barely illuminated by the flickering candlelight, the silhouette of a child can be seen, snickering while drawing something on the floor.
As the candle's faint glow reveals more of the room, a boy, nearly ten years old, emerges from the shadows. His black hair falls over his eyes, concealing them behind a veil of bangs. With cautious steps, he approaches the strange scene, his presence adding an eerie dimension to the already unsettling atmosphere.
"Here… and then- hehehe."
The soft whispers of the boy echoed in the darkness, mingling with his laughter. He knelt down on one knee, inspecting the drawing that quickly transformed into a circle once he finished. In his hand, he held a creepy old book, its cover adorned with strange words.
The flickering light briefly illuminated his face, revealing a smile devoid of innocence. Once he finished inspecting the circle, his expression shifted, leaving a blank stare on his face as he slowly turned his head towards a small cage nearby. His features then settled into a neutral expression as he gazed at the cage where a black cat was imprisoned.
"Now... it's your turn." the boy said with a grin, his eyes, though shaded black, seemed to light up, hinting at nothing but trouble.
Meanwhile, the cat in the cage shivered, its fur bristling, its tail straightening as the boy's piercing gaze locked onto it. Sensing the impending danger emanating from those eyes, the cat struggled, almost as if it were human, in its desperate attempt to escape.
His footsteps echoed in the darkness as the boy approached the cage, each step reverberating through the eerie silence.
The quiet enveloped the scene as the boy halted, standing before the cage where the cat cowered in the corner.
"Nya-.. nya?" the cat murmured softly.
"Heh~," the boy chuckled darkly in response.
A long time ago…. A boy were found outside of a church with no sign of his parents, he was abandoned and now an orphan the church took him in and cared for him.
Growing up in the church, the boy were taught about faith and compassion along with the scriptures and sacred texts.
Surprisingly, the boy shows promising talent.
It was afternoon when Ceciline, a young nun, was searching around the church, checking every possible hiding spot for a child she was supposed to be watching over. Losing sight of him, she couldn't help but feel frustrated from searching for the missing boy.
"That Abel, sigh~ just where did he go?" Ceciline's voice lamented, breaking the silence.
Searching for Abel, the child named so, Ceciline's footsteps echoed through the quiet church. Suddenly, amidst her search, Celine heard the loud crash of objects falling. With a startled jump, she cautiously approached the source, where she discovered Abel immersed in reading holy books.
There was nothing inherently wrong with the scene, but witnessing someone so young engrossed in such serious concentration, Ceciline's presence seemed to go unnoticed by Abel.
A few years had passed since I was taken in by the church. I remember how it was raining that time, the darkness of the night enhanced by the moon, adding a dramatic backdrop to my backstory before the church's doors opened for me. "Time sure flies by quickly," I thought to myself.
"I told you, I only taught him a few words back then. So, him reading such advanced books... Doesn't that make him a prodigy? Wait... am I just a good teacher?!"
While engrossed in a book, I glanced up to see Ceciline gleefully reminiscing about the time I was caught reading some bibles. I had let my guard down then, as it wasn't my first time perusing them. Yet, years later, she still seemed proud of the incident for some reason.
It was somewhat annoying to think that my disguise as a normal child had been ruined. However, even if that's the case, I suppose allowing herself to indulge in her reminiscing with that smile is rather fascinating.
Having been raised in the church surrounded by elderly individuals, Ceciline, who is the youngest close to my age, brightens my days with her presence. She is a young nun with serene hazel eyes and a gentle demeanor, kind and deeply devoted to her faith. Though her blonde hair is neatly tucked under her nun habit, when she reveals it, combined with her radiant smile, my heart soars.
Is it love? I'm not sure if I were to describe it. Ceciline is like that of a pet who keeps following you around and always finding you wherever you go.
"Sister Ceciline, I kindly suggest composing yourself. You keep go on and on about Abel. People might start thinking you're a bit obsessed with him, you know?"
Another nun said, Since I kinda forgot her name her words of concerns about Ceciline's obsession went out of my other ear.
"What, me obsessed? Of course not Sister Maria! I'm just-." (Ceciline)
She quickly denied, waving her hands frantically as he shook her head.
"Well, not that I can't share the excitement. The boy does have some talent, who knows he might just turn out to be a promising exorcist, you know?. " (Maria)
The nun, Maria, remarked with a knowing glance at Abel, her eyes revealing her understanding. Meanwhile, the child seemed completely oblivious to their presence, his back turned to them as he immersed himself in the book he held.
"Imagine, a child barely four, alone in the middle of the rain at night. Yet, within weeks of arriving here, he learns to read. In other churches, he'd be hailed as a gifted child." (Maria)
"But Abel is still just a child, isn't he? Surely, he won't become an exorcist." (Ceciline)
"That's precisely why he's a perfect candidate, Sister Ceciline. A young prodigy is like a calling. Sooner or later, the child will have to fight for our cause." (Maria)
"Mou~ I won't let that happen!" Ceciline pouted, catching Abel off guard as she enveloped him in a tight hug. "Just look at his innocent face! A boy like this wouldn't even hurt a fly!"
She exclaimed while grasping his face, gently pushing his head forward to showcase Abel's innocence.
"See? See?!"
"Sister Ceciline, please be careful when handling a child. You might end up hurting him if you move Abel like that."
"Eh? He doesn't seem to mind it though. " Ceciline replied, oblivious to any discomfort Abel might be feeling.
'The hell is going on.' With my mind spaced out from thinking too much, I looked around my eyes moving between the two nuns. I was just minding my own business reading the bible.
"What the hell is going on?" My mind was scattered from overthinking as I glanced between the two nuns. I had been minding my own business, engrossed in reading the Bible.
But truth be told, reading these holy scriptures was starting to bore me. I wasn't exactly devoted to this faith. The only reason I found myself in this church was because I wanted to survive, and it seemed like the best place to do so.
Waking up in this world in the body of a child, I couldn't help but wonder how such a small and frail body could endure.
So on that night, I found myself knocking on their doorstep, seeking shelter.
Since then, I became one of those abandoned and adopted children. It's been two years now, and I still haven't seen much of the outside world. I'm allowed to go outside, but always with someone watching over me, and only within the vicinity of the church, never venturing beyond its confines to see the city beyond.
The boredom that accompanies this restricted life led me to read every book I could find here, most of which were related to their faith.
Snatching Ceciline's hands away from my face, I locked eyes with Sister Maria, who met my gaze head-on.
"What's an exorcist?" I inquired, intrigued by their conversation. The term had piqued my interest, especially considering it seemed to carry a different meaning than what I had initially assumed.
Detecting the curiosity hidden deep within my eyes, Sister Maria grinned and silenced Ceciline by placing a hand over her mouth, preventing her from speaking.
"You see, Abel, an exorcist is—"
As Sister Maria began to explain, a chill crept down my spine, and something within me stirred, awakening a newfound awareness.
'I want that.'
Author: Did I say I'm going to ignore the canon and Kouh? Actually no that will stay and the church is the abandoned one, so can someone tell me who's and what's going on there before the main story?
Not that I don't know but I would like some additional information and maybe some tips and ideas from the readers.
Fun fact: Did you know that for every family there's a possibility of a baby being born as a boy or a girl.
