Hey guys, Gmanfan820 here. I recently came up with a really interesting idea for an AU inspired by The Last Ronin, a TNMT comic book series where Michaelangelo is the last Turtle. The premise is that the weakest or more jovial character becomes the last one of his/her friends and or group alive. I should forewarn you that this series is going to get graphic. There will be smut eventually. For now, enjoy!
I own nothing
Rain hammered against the asphalt of roads lacking vehicles, traveling them, and the obvious lack of pedestrians going about their day. The only sounds reverberating through the empty city are the raindrops hitting asphalt, metal, or concrete and thunder exploding the skies clogged with clouds.
Suddenly, a large blur decorated with a menagerie of colors zips from rooftop to rooftop, water cascading down its bulky frame like a waterfall. The being stops at the rooftop of a skyscraper, standing on the edge, overlooking the empty city.
Upon closer inspection, the being appeared to be an unmatching amalgamation of cloth and metal with an emblem encased in steel for protection attached to a chain that hung on the figure's neck. Said emblem read "1-A" in big blocky red letters. The figure bore six arms, each with a large grenade-like gauntlet that was worn over their forearms. One of these arms rose and held the emblem up to where the figure's eyes were before clutching the emblem with heavy grief.
"I wish you guys were still alive," the figure said to themself, their gruff voice heavy with grief. "You know you can still talk to us, dude." Another voice responded, this voice sounding far younger and more jovial and relaxed.
"I know, but I miss the days when you and me could play Call of Duty together. Nothing is as fun without you here, Denki." the gruff voice responded, turning around to meet the vestige of a 28 year old Denki Kaminari with his mid-back length blond hair turning wispy at its ends, the black lightning bolt from his teenage years spanning from a spot in the middle of the back of his head to the end of his hair, his arms folded.
"I know that, but you can't change the past. I know you better than anyone else. You need to just let it go. And don't give me the 'I can't let go if my dead classmates can interact with me any time they want because of One For All' excuse, Mineta. You need to just stop wasting your already shortened time finding Eri. She's probably already dead from the Nomus. Everyone agrees that killing Afo is far more important than finding a fading miracle." the electric blonde said, using his closeness to the towering man to put the weight in his words.
Mineta Minoru, now standing at 7'5", looks at the vestige of his best friend with a kind and calm yet angry look. "So what if I die?" The towering hero asked.
"I'll answer that for you. It's game over if I die. No more hope. No more strength. No. More. Saving." Mineta ranted, his fury completely hidden by his calm facade.
"I'm all that's left. I know that I'm wasting time searching for someone who could already be dead, but this wild goose chase is our only chance at killing Afo. I can't and won't stop searching for answers until I get them." He continued, his explanation giving way to reason.
"God I fuckin hate when you're right, short shit." A second voice spoke up, his gruff yet stoic voice bringing acknowledgment to Mineta's unseen face.
"Thank you, Katsuki" The man said, turning towards the explosive blonde's vestige.
"Come on, Katsuki, I thought we finally all agreed on something for once." Kaminari huffed.
The taller of the three then removed his helmet, revealing a gruff, unkempt face with large round eyes, pupils of purple glancing at the two vestiges, a large scar running down his face diagonally crossing his lips, and the far most identifying trait were the basketball sized purple balls the man had in place of his head of hair, now cascading down his back as a ponytail made of continuously smaller hairballs.
"Who you callin' short?" The towering former pervert asked Bakugo, a small yet snide grin plastered on his face.
"Even though I've seen some of the shit you've done, I still don't respect you yet. Until I do, you're short shit to me." Bakugo responded as Mineta put his helmet back on.
The taller hero only let out a grunt of acknowledgment, his six arms multiplying, numerous arms sprouting eyes as the limbs stretched out, becoming a tree of limbs, and started to scan the streets for Eri.
"The only way for us to win, is to kill All For One, no matter how long it takes." Izanukai Midoriya, the first holder of One For All, said, reminding the other vestiges of One For All that patience is key.
Suddenly, a large explosion of yellowish beige light erupted from a far away alley, the many arms retracting back to the original six. The vestiges are now inside Mineta's mindscape. The towering hero entered a starting position with two hands in front of him and his left leg bent, the toes of his left foot anchored to the ground.
The engines within his legs began shaking slightly as his four free arms had their hands resting on the ground behind his runner's position.
Mineta then looked up at the still lingering beige flames before shouting, "Cruiser Burst:MOAB!!". As soon as Mineta shouted this, the engines in his legs ignited like a missile right as the four hands fired off a powerful explosion, causing Mineta to rocket forward like an actual space rocket, a thick plume of smoke being left in his wake. A deafening rumble filled the air at the sound of Mineta's burst forth.
However, the speed boost quickly wore off. Despite that, Mineta had already reached the location of the explosion. Looking around, he spotted a beautiful woman with knee-length white hair, pools of red stared back at Mineta. The woman's only recognizable trait was a large dark beige horn dotted with small bumps nestled in the part of her hair, at the hairline. She wore a tight black bodysuit that only covered her body from the base of her neck down, with red stripes going down the sides. In her left hand, she carried a long sword that looked to be made out of the same material as her horn. She wore a leather jacket over her bodysuit, completely unbuttoned.
Only one thing poured out of their lips, almost as though it was staged.
"Eri?"
"Mineta?"
To be continued...
