The sound of her sword hitting the practice dummy echoed through the room, as she attacked it over and over again, sweat began to roll down he forehead as her attack grew more detailed.
Why was she stuck, with a girl who she couldn't stand, and a fool who couldn't even hold a word properly?
She had complained to the teachers, who agreed that her team and the one next to it were unbalanced, but the teams had already been made.
The only way that the teams could be changed was after the trial phase and the only other team that they could trade with was the one who had the two girls that, she let out a breath. She honestly didn't like her options.
"Okay Jaune, let's try from the beginning." she heard the voice of Pyrrha.
She stopped training and walked towards the edge of the building, again she was training that failure. Weiss didn't understand what she saw in the guy, but Pyrrha insisted that Jaune was her partner and she would stick with him to the end.
She could tolerate Ruby who could keep up with her and Pyrrha, but Jaune was nothing more them dead weight.
He didn't know how to fight, he was constantly losing whenever they spared, it didn't matter if it was against each other or another team.
"Jaune. Pyrrha! her other teammates who stopped sparring and turned to look at the short-haired girl who came into view.
Ruby was supposed to be her partner and while she was tolerable, her exes energy was something that Weiss couldn't stand.
"Hey, what are we looking at." Yang Ruby's older sister, one of the girls that were on the other team asks her, as she leans over and sees the three talking.
"So you were left out." Nora the other troublesome member of Yang's team says to her.
Next to Nora was Ren, the guy was as quiet as Nora was loud and Weiss dndt understand how the two of them ever became friends.
The four of them didn't say anything after that, they just watched, Ruby, Jaune, and Pyrrha leave, normally they would have followed the three out of curiosity, but they had done that in the past and what they found was honestly boring.
For whatever reason, Janune, Ruby, and Pyrrha had started collecting sap from the trees that grow in the forest, so every once in a while they would go into the forest to check on the jars.
Today was one of those boring long days that seemed to go quickly, because even if they didn't do anything, time still flew by, and before they knew what happened, they saw the three come back.
"Waite what?" Yang said, as she sat up, and looked down with wide eyes that soon turned into something that belonged to a predator instead of a person.
Weiss looked down and noticed that Jaune wasn't wearing the top half of his armor.
Pyrrha's hair was a mess, and Weiss was well aware that she kept just as much care of her hair as Yang, and yet she was smiling, but that smile of hers it want normal.
Then there was Ruby, who would glance at Jaune and then shy away, Ruby had walked out of the forest first, but she slowed down until she was standing next to Jaune.
Weiss watched as she tried to hold June's hand while they walked and the moment that she did, she heard a grow come from Yang.
The wall cracked when Yang tightened her grip and they noticed that Pyrrha was already holding Jaune's hand.
"I'll kill him" Yang growled but Nora held onto her before she could jump onto Jaune and tear him apart.
"Yang you should calm down, I mean think about it it's Jaune, the guy has been trying to get with Weiss since day one, and he hasn't even paid any attention to Pyrrha and Ruby." Blake Yang's partner says to Yang.
"You're right, my sister has better taste." Yang says to Blake before Nora lets go of her.
No one knew that Yang could move so fast, somewhere between Nora loosening her grip and everyone letting out a breath, Yang had managed to jump from the third floor and run into the building.
"Well, he's dead." Blake says before she slowly walks towards the door.
"Sio Ren do you want to help Jaue or, do you want to watch Yang beat him up." Nora asks Ren who turns and looks at Weiss.
"You know, I know that you don't like him but he is still part of your team you should help him." Ren says to her and Weiss can't help but roll her eyes.
She knows that she has to help Jaune, not because she wants to, but because they need four people so that neither team is left without its fourth member.
