It was close to lunchtime.

Maya, still resting in her room, remembered about the bottles that she had put in the freezer. They had been there for a couple of hours, so they must definitely be good by now.

She then grabbed a glass that was inside the fridge, took a bottle of pineapple moonshine out, and also grabbed the ice tray. She placed a whole bunch of ice cubes in the glass and then poured her drink in it. She shook it up a bit and then had a sip.

"Oh, wow!", Maya said to herself. "This is MUCH better! Why did it take so long for me to do this?"

She kept drinking. It was very refreshing, just what she needed for the scorching hot temperatures of the Portuguese summer. She ended up drinking two other cups, enough to intensify her current buzz. She then washed her glass and put it back in the freezer along with the ice tray and the bottle of moonshine. Then, after applying mouthwash, she waited until lunchtime came.

Not long after, Maya's mom texts her.

"Hey, Maya!", She says. "Come outside, we'll go eat lunch."

"Okay, mom, I'm going!", Maya replies.

She then gets dressed and gets out of her room, her family waiting outside. They all then went to a nearby restaurant and ordered some veggie burgers. They were amazing.

After having lunch, they walked back to the hotel.

"Did you like your lunch, kids?", Mrs. Schoppenboer asked the sisters.

"Yea!", They all replied.

"Good, good!", Mrs. Schoppenboer said. "Now we all need to get some good rest because we'll be going to the beach at 2:30 PM, alright?"

"Alright, mom!", Maya replied.

They all then went back to their respective rooms. Around half an hour later, Maya opened up WhatsApp and began texting Mymy.

"Hey, Mymy!", Maya asked her. "Wanna help me out now?"

"Sure thing!", Mymy replied.

Maya then went out of her room and knocked on Mymy's and Coco's room's door. Mymy answered it.

"Oh, hey, Maya!", Mymy said before turning her head back to Coco. "Coco, me and Maya are gonna spend some time outside, is that ok?"

"Oh, it's totally fine!", Coco replied. "What are you two gonna do?"

"Just check things out!", Maya replied. "You know, to see what there is to do in this town."

"Cool!", Coco replied. "Have fun you two!"

Mymy then reached for a hat, a mask and her Dutch flag and stepped outside.

"Uh, what's with the flag and the hat?", Maya asked Mymy. "And is that a mask inside the hat?"

"It's just in case I end up needing it.", Mymy replied. "Now, let's step out of here!"

The two went down the corridor and stopped at a more secluded area.

"So, uh, what is it that you need help for?", Mymy asked.

"Well, me and Yfke were talking earlier, and she recommended that I try this drug called DXM.", Maya replied. "It's available in basically every drug store out there, and, according to my research, the best brand is Diacol."

...and there it was. The excuse to commit armed robbery again that Mymy needed. She smiled from ear to ear.

"So you need help in case something goes wrong?", Mymy asked, excitedly.

"Yeah, exactly!"

"Well, Maya, I'll be more than willing to help you in this! Now, let's go!"

The two then went out of the hotel, and Mymy began searching for a drug store to get Maya's syrup from.

"Alright, let's see...", Mymy said as she looked on Google Maps, then finding a small drug store in a less touristic area. "Aha! This one should be good!"

"Keep in mind that we have only an hour to do this, Mymy.", Maya warned.

"It'll be no issue, Maya!", Mymy replied. "Just trust ol' Mymy here!"

The two then went to said drug store. Mymy then suddenly stopped by a gas station a block away and said:

"Hey, Maya, I need you to stay at this gas station while I go buy your drugs, alright?"

"Oh?", Maya asked. "Why, though?"

"It'll be less suspicious if it's only me going in.", Mymy replied.

"Alright, but be quick!", Maya warned again.

Mymy then began marching towards the drug store, putting her mask and hat on along the way. Then, she entered the drug store, where a middle-aged man was standing by the cash register.

"Olá!", The man said.

"Hey, sorry, I don't speak Portuguese.", Mymy said in her best possible English.

"Oh, alright, I can speak English too!", The man replied. "So, what can I help you with today?"

"Uh, I'm looking for a certain medicine called Diacol."

"Oh, I think I have that one, hold on a second."

The man then went to the back of the pharmacy and came back with a bottle of exactly what Mymy wanted.

"Wait...", Mymy thought to herself. "This is going... too well..."

"There you go, young lady!", The man said as he put the bottle on the counter. "Do you want anything else?"

"It'll... be all, thanks!", Mymy replied.

"It'll be €7!"

Mymy then got some cash and handed it to the man, who put the bottle in a small paper bag.

"There you go!", The man said. "Have a nice day!"

"You... too.", Mymy said as she left the store.

Mymy then went back to the gas station, feeling both disappointed and embarrassed. Maya was still there.

"There you go, Maya.", Mymy said as she handed the bag to Maya.

"Thanks!", Maya said. "But, uh, why do you look so down?"

"This went... too well for my taste, Maya.", Mymy replied. "I really wore this Zorro costume for no reason..."

"What do you-", Maya began before realizing what Mymy meant. "Wait... did you plan on robbing the store?"

"What? No?!", Mymy replied.

"I know a disguise when I see it, Mymy!", Maya replied. "Why, though? Are you crazy?"

"Whatever, Maya, let's get back to the hotel!"

The two then began walking back home, Mymy taking off her hat and mask along the way. They then went back to their respective rooms. Maya took the box out of the bag and snapped a picture of it, then took the syrup bottle out of the box and snapped another picture. She then sent the two pictures to Yfke. A while later, she responds:

"Good stuff, Maya! You can tell me when you're about to trip so we can chat if you want."

"I'll see about that.", Maya replied.

She then put the box in the trash and stuffed the bottle inside her backpack. She waited a bit more until her mom texted her.

"Hey, Maya!", She said. "We'll be going to the beach in 10 minutes!"
