A/N: Firstly, thank you all for joining me on this new journey away from the High School DxD world!

It was a tough choice of which one to begin as I actually wanted to do this one after starting a Naruto one, but I decided that I should honor the poll before starting with the Naruto Self Insert.

However, the Naruto Self Insert is coming along and will most likely be up in April/ May/ June, depending on how I feel, and…it's a side character.

Which side-character, you may ask? Well, you'll just have to wait and see.

Now, without further ado and me stopping with wasting your time…

Let us begin with our new journey.

DISCLAIMER: I do not own Fairy Tail or anything associated with it apart from my own OC's that I create in this story.

Eric Creed was not someone who actively cared for anything in his life.

Did that make him lazy and irresponsible? He sure hoped it did as like he said, he couldn't care less.

He cared enough to make enough money to keep renting his apartment while also keeping his grades high enough to one day get a good job, but truthfully, those were just because he was too lazy to think of other methods to keep his mother off of his back.

However, he was not always this lazy.

Eric was once a young boy with dreams of amazement and fun, of times where he would have wild dreams of other Eric Creeds and write down their adventures for the enjoyment of others on the internet.

There was one universe that he actively adored writing about, but he never got to publishing the adventures of the King of the Beasts Eric in the world of Fairy Tail because apparently, drinking five cans of Monster was too much for his body to handle.

Like that was fair to him when he could down fifteen cups of instant coffee back to back and still be able to function normally with no problem whatsoever.

He sure hoped his friend Nova actually published his King of the Beasts story or else, he's going to haunt the big fucker from his grave since the guy liked everything DxD-related.

Wait, what was he trying to say again?

Ah, right. Yes, Eric Creed was a man that couldn't care for anything.

So, when he went to bed in his comfortable one-bedroom apartment and found himself waking up in the middle of a forest clearing, lying back first on the muddy ground with trees all around him, Eric had two choices in front of him that the average person would consider choosing.

(A) Stand up and push his panic to the back of his mind, hoping that he can find a way out.

Or

(B) Stay in the clearing and let out all of his rampaging emotions, hoping that someone could actually find him.

However, Eric was not like the average person as he made his very own 3rd choice, which was to just look around at his surroundings before shrugging as he lied back down.

"Nope, I'm still too drunk for this shit." Eric grumbled as he snuggled into the muddy ground to get more comfortable before he leapt to his feet as a deep growl echoed throughout the forest, his eyes flickering around as he tried to find the source of the growl before he blinked as he reached up to his face.

'Wait, what the fuck? I thought I died?…I did die, right?' Eric thought to himself as he felt the beginning of an identity crisis growing before he yelped at the sight of an object appearing in front of him.

Staring at the floating page in front of him, he was hesitant as he slowly reached out, letting out a silent sigh of relief as the paper didn't explode before he frowned as he pulled it forward and began to read its content.

Dear Eric.

Apologies for the abrupt awakening, but it was the only way I could find to wake you up without scaring half of the forest into a stampede.

As you may have realized, you are currently in an unknown location with no clue of how you came there and so, this letter will explain everything.

First of all, you are no longer in your home world. You are in the world of Fairy Tail, which according to my sources is your favourite fictional universe.

And before you start, I did change your body's composition to match that of the inhabitants of this world as well as something that else that fits who you are.

Just know that this will let you become one of the strongest in this world or the strongest if you desire it enough as I know you don't like being second to anyone.

Next, you have been placed in a forest near the hall of a certain guild and no, it isn't Fairy Tail. You'll have to find out what guild that is for yourself.

All you need to know is that the guild is five kilometres to your south-east, which is diagonally forward and left of the direction you are now facing.

Finally, the reason why you're not panicking about the fact that you died is because I have sealed away the memories of your death sealed, so you won't have to worry about feeling any of the pain and anguish of dying over and over every time you think about it.

Well, that is about all that I needed to say, so good luck in your new life and here's to hoping this life interests you enough to actually try to become someone.

Your Creator

GOD

P.S. In a few seconds, you'll be impacted with memories of your new life up until this point, so prepare yourself

"…What?" Eric blinked a few times at the paper, but it appears that reading the letter was all he needed to do as the paper burned away, leaving the human staring at thin air for the next minute or two before he sighed as he turned and started walking in the direction the letter said the guild was.

God, he needed to sleep away the stress of today and figure out what the hell is going on.

So the new memories had hit Eric as soon as he walked just a few meters away from the forest clearing and he could only grit his teeth as a migraine shot through his skull, leaving him stumbling and blinking profusely to try & focus his vision as he watched the life of Eric Creed the Mage.

From the moment he first awakened his magic to the start of his training under his now-deceased father, who was formerly a Rune Knight.

He remembered when his village was razed to the ground by a group of Zeref cultists who captured him along with the children of his village before they were taken to one of the many hidden mines of the Cult scattered throughout Earthland.

However, just yesterday, he had managed to escape as the only survivor after waking up in the middle of the camp in the middle of the dead bodies of all the guards and other prisoners.

He suspected that it was a result of one of the new captives having been a thief that lockpicked his magic suppressant cuffs and since he has not used his magic in who knows how long, it went rampant.

'Ain't no fucking way that I just became my own character.' Eric thought in shock as he watched the memories as they flashed by, knowing that each memory was something that he had created because it was stupid, but he didn't think that this would actually happen.

If he knew that this would have happened, he would have given his character every ability of Gojo or even all of Rimuru's skills, but instead, he wanted to be original & only created a character with his magic unlocked & a shitty background to give him the determination to become strong.

Oh well, at least he was a fan of Fairy Tail & the letter did say that he had the genes of one of his favourite characters. If it was the character that he was thinking of, then he was all for this new life.

"No time to worry about that now. First, I need to get out of this forest." Eric muttered with a sigh as he continued walking, the pain of his magic slowly returning to his body & his stomach rumbling with hunger being the only things that kept him awake as he kept on stumbling in the direction of where the letter said the town was.

Eric felt his consciousness slowly sinking into slumber as he kept walking for a full ten minutes before his legs failed him, his sore body falling to the ground before he gritted as he dug his fingers into the ground and started dragging his body towards the village.

"Oi, kid! You okay?" Eric blinked slowly as he heard a voice to his right, slowly turning his head while blinking in order for his bleary vision to focus as he saw a humanoid figure walking closer.

"Yo, Guy! We have one here!" And Eric just stared at the man with his hair in a bun before he decided to do the one thing that he's been wanting to do ever since he woke up. He passed out.

A/N: And there we are!

The first chapter to our newfound world!

This is merely an introductory prologue as the first actual chapter of the series begins in the next one.

Also, I will say that the 'something extra' is something from another isekai anime and it won't come into play for the next few arcs.

Adventure, women and power awaits us, so without further ado…

Welcome…to King of the Beasts!

P.S. If you want, go check my pat re on KingCrimsonNova, which is seven weeks ahead on this fanfic and ten weeks ahead on the Unholy Wolf. Don't know if the site name showed, but if it didn't, go to P*tr*on and search the name KingCrimsonNova for the extra chapters.
