In a restaurant fancier and than fancy called the trident fork where the nobility and top class of hell gather for meals that fit their exquisite palate Ashley stood in front of a table wearing a male waiter outfit with a bowtie.
"Hello, sir and madam. Welcome to our fine establishment." Asked Ashley with a flawless smile as she bowed down to the goetia couple in front of her. "May I take your order?" She said in a soft, polite tone. The couple cooed over the polite waitress before handing her two menus with orders selected. "Your food will be ready shortly." The princess of greed walked elegantly from the table with the two orders in hand before heading to the kitchen.
As soon as she was out of sight, a small mouse popped out from behind Ashley's neck with a squeak. "Phew. Acting fancy really starts hurting after the 50th fine establishment of the day." The princess of greed said tiredly as she stretched her arms before heading towards the kitchen with a tired frown. "At least the pay is decent." She muttered sliding the orders through a hole in the kitchen door before heading back towards the guests with a fake smile before she noticed the main entrance open out of the corner of her eye.
Cheese quickly hid again before the princess dashed towards the new guest with a bright smile. "Welcome, esteemed guest. How may i-" she said before a lizard demon pushed her away nonchalantly before heading to an empty table. "Gosh, what a prick." Ashley grumbled under her breath before heading towards the lizard demon's table. "Welcome, sir; may I take your order?" She said with a bow and a soft smile.
The demon, not even bothering to look at the menu on the table, spoke in a rough tone. "Gimme a pepperoni pizza and make it snappy." Ashley smile faltered before she forced it back up again.
"Uhh, sir? We don't serve pizza here." Replied Ashley calmly as she took the menu off the table and held it in front of the demon. "I assure you, however, that there's lot on our menu to satisfy any palate."
"Why not? You have the ingredients and the cooks. Are you telling me you're denying me, a paying customer, service?!" Exclaimed the demon slamming his fists onto the table. Ashley glanced around her to see all the customers staring at them. The princess sweat dropped before she turned back to the angry demon. "How dare you!? I want to speak to your manager!" Hearing this, Cheese the mouse peeked out from behind Ashley's neck and glared daggers at the demon.
Ashley clenched her fists in frustration. "Yes, sir. I'll call him over." She said before the demon grabbed her by the arm.
"What's that?" He asked curiously, noticing a small grey spot next to Ashley's neck. "What is that?" He asked raising a brow before he quickly snatched Cheese from behind the princess's neck. "A light snack?"
His words sent a chill down Ashley's spine. "Uhh, sir? That's my pet mouse. My boss allowed him to be here." She said nervously, trying to keep calm. "I'd really appreciate it if you-" she couldn't even finish her sentence before she was interrupted by a loud gulp. On instinct, Ashley immediately put all her strength in her arm before punching the demon straight in the gut, causing him to spit out Cheese into Ashley's hands. The princess quickly made sure her pet was still alive and well before turning to the demon with the fury of a thousand suns as the whites of her eyes turned black.
The demon groaned, clutching his stomach as he got back to his feet. "You b*h! You dare-" he snapped before the princess of greed uppercutted him in the jaw, sending him crashing into the ceiling and going through it. The demon's body fell back down shortly, prompting Ashley to speak.
"Dare? DARE?!" Shouted Ashley furiously as she grew insect mandibles over her mouth. "The only DARE left here is me daring you to come back after what I'm about to do to you!" She exclaimed raising her foot above the demon's body, ready to stomp down with all her strength before she felt a hand on her shoulder. She glanced at the hand then traced it back to its owner until her eyes fell on none other than her boss. The princess went silent before glancing at the hole in the ceiling she made with a nervous expression. "Uhh, I can explain."
Without a single warning, Ashley was physically thrown out of the building and into the sidewalk alongside the rude demon who quickly ran away before the princess of greed could reach him. As if she could. Ashley stared at the pavement she layed on in shock before a familiar little mouse stood in front of her. "Oh, Cheese, what are we gonna do now?" She muttered as her mind raced with regret for a solution to what's already said and done.
Drip* *drip*
Interrupting Ashley's thoughts was the sound of rain drops falling onto the road. The princess pushed herself off the pavement in instant with a panicked expression before running away. "Shit shit shit shit! I can NOT get my clothes wet right now!" She exclaimed as she dashed to a small alleyway between two buildings. The alley was dark and riddled with filth and trash, causing Ashley to hesitate before rushing in for shelter against the rain. The girl sighed as she leaned onto the side of the alley.
"SAD NUTS!" The princess of greed blurted grumpily as she clenched her fists, her nails digging deep into her palms. "I know this is hell, but what the fuck?!" She yelled with a deep frown before she noticed the sound of rain dissipating. "Okay, did the sky just rain for half a minute just to mess with me?" The princess asked angrily before letting out an unintelligible noise from frustration. "Y'know what? No! I'm getting that money! I'm getting that stable job and not even HELL ITSELF can stop me!"
With a determined stride and Cheese the mouse on her shoulder, Ashley stepped out of the darkness of the alley ready to take on a new job.

Later.
"What do you mean "unqualified"?!" Exclaimed Ashley as she sat in front of a desk wearing her usual clothes. "I'm literally the most qualified person in hell!" She exclaimed, slamming her hands onto the desk with a deep scowl.
A sheep demon with a highly unfazed expression replied calmly. "Sorry to say, but you're just not what this company needs." She turned to the desk, opening a drawer before pulling out a certain document and laying it in front of Ashley. "What we need is someone with 80 years of experience in video editing."
Ashley almost chocked on her own saliva hearing what the demon said. "E-eighty? L-like 20 times 4 eighty?" She asked in shock before the lady nodded calmly. "B-b-but this is an intern position! How much experience do you need for an actual job then?! Is this place running on underpaid interns or something?!" Ashley exclaimed before awkward silence descended upon the room as the interviewer wore a deadpan expression. "Nope nope. I'm out." Said the princess of greed walking out of the building with haste.
The girl walked away from the building with large, yet quick steps; eager to get as far away as possible from it. As she trudged forwards, she noticed a lonely payphone illuminated by a streetlight. Her body froze as she eyed the payphone intently and before she knew it, her body moved on its own heading for the payphone. The princess grit her teeth before inserting a coin and dialing in a certain number. The phone rang as Ashley waited with bated breath for someone to answer.
Suddenly, she heard a voice speak on the other side. "Hello? Who the f*k is it?" It was the voice of Mammon, the sin of greed and Ashley's biological father. Ashley quickly slammed the phone shut, abruptly ending the call before catcher her breath in a panic.
"No!" Exclaimed Ashley, panting for breath as her whole body trembled as if an earthquake was taking place. "I'm NOT that desperate." She muttered before taking deep breath. "Never." She said firmly before she heard an unfamiliar voice speak.
"Never what?" Ashley turned to the source of the voice to see a demon wearing a construction helmet.
"Nothing, I just got fired and I'm having problems." Replied Ashley with a deep frown as she crossed her arms.
"What a surprise! We're hiring; want a job at our factory?" Asked the demon with a smile, causing Ashley to glance at the payphone before turning back to the demon with a strained smile.
"...sure; why the fuck not?"

In a lifeless and soulless factory filled with TVs and electronic devices of all kinds, a factory belonging to voxtech, Ashley stood on the verge of a breakdown among many others workers.
"Just hang in there, Ashley. It's fine, you'll figure it all out." The princess of greed muttered to herself as she stared at the half assembled tv in front of her. "You've got time."
Suddenly, the building shook as if an earthquake had hit it causing Cheese the mouse to fall out from behind Ashley's neck and onto the floor. All the workers panicked before a loud voice resounded in the factory. "Hey, stop looking around you and get back to work!".
"Who am I kidding?" The princess of greed, not noticing her pet was gone, clenched her fists and grit her teeth before the building shook once again. "Why? Why am I doing this?!" She asked with a growl. "Every job I get is just worse than the last! What's the point?! I'm not even having a life, let alone a stable one!" With a firm expression, Ashley stomped her way to the exit of the factory before she heard a voice through a megaphone.
"Hey! Where do you think you're going?!" Said what seemed to be her manager from across the building. The princess of greed frowned before grabbing a nearby tv and throwing into the demon's head.
"I QUIT!" She exclaimed before she stormed out of the building with a growl. Once outside, Ashley stared at the red sky of hell and took a deep breath. "Next time, I'll have some fucking standards; you with me, Cheese?" She asked in a serious tone only to be met with silence. "Cheese?" The princess looked all around her before she heard an explosion from behind her. The Factory she was just in was burning from the crossfire of a fight between demons.
Suddenly, the factory workers started flooding out of the building in droves. Ashley quickly pushed through the crowds of workers, rushing inside looking for Cheese. Amongst the falling debris, the princess of greed noticed her little mouse cowering in fear. Ashley quickly leaped towards her pet before picking him and turning towards the entrance. Suddenly, a giant piece of the building collapsed in front of Ashleyz blocking her way.
As the princess was about to jump over it, another piece fell right next to her. Panic showed on Ashley's face as the whole building started to fall apart. The princess of hell quickly got into a fetal position with Cheese held to her chest, protecting her pet mouse with her body as the whole factory collapsed on top of her, knocking the princess of greed unconscious.

Meanwhile, in heaven.
Sera, the head seraphim of heaven walked through an empty white hallway with a solemn expression. At the end of the of the hallway, there stood an angel wearing a demon like helmet in front of a door. "Adam." The head seraphim called out calmly.
"Seraaa!" Exclaimed Adam with a strained smile as he stood between Sera and the door. "How are you doing today? Looking good. Did you get a haircut?"
"What of...the situation?" Asked Sera in a formal tone, narrowing her eyes. "Has any solution been found?"
Adam scratchef the back of his head. "Yeaaaah, no." He said tiredly before putting his hands on his hips. "That green shit just doesn't wanna disappear. Even holy water, can't get rid of it."
"I ALREADY KNOW THAT, ADAM! I'M ASKING IF A CURE HAS BEEN FOUND!" Snapped Sera, causing Adam to step back nervously. The head seraphim quickly took a deep breath before continuing. "The only saving grace is that this...green plague that came from HELL doesn't spread much or else all of heaven would be in uproar." She said as she opened the door behind Adam to reveal half a dozen angels with green veins overtaking their bodies paralyzed on their hospital beds.
"Look, I know you're mad. So let me handle this." Said Adam with a smile. "I'll find out who made the plague, have them give us a cure then take care of them for good. So relax-"
Sera narrowed her eyes as Adam flashed a furious grin. "-I've got it handled."
