"THE SPORTS FESTIVAL?!" The class of 1-A shouted in unison, All Might and Ectoplasm nodding at each other as they head towards the door, leaving the explaining to Mr Aizawa who clearly had the classes full attention. Both pro hero's leaving the room as they shut the door behind them.

"Hell yeah! Let's go kick some ass!" Kirishima shouted, a large toothy grin covering his face as he leaned back in his chair. his excitement however was quickly snuffed out as Kaminari shoved his mouth shut with his hand.

"Hold on sir, is it cool to be running the sports festival so close after the attack?" Kaminari asked, a few of the students surprised at Kaminari, the goofball of the class, being the one to bring a sound reason to postpone the events. "Yeah they could attack while we are all in the same place, normal people would be there too!" Ojiro continued, all the students looking back at Mr Aizawa.

"Civilians Ojiro, remember to use the proper wording now as you are becoming a hero in training" Ectoplasm said, getting a small nod from Ojiro. "Apparently the administration thinks this is a good way to show that the situation has been handled, and that our school is now safer than ever. Plus, they are beefing up security compared to previous years" Mr Aizawa said, his students nodding along to his answer.

"This is a huge opportunity for all students at UA, it's not something we can cancel just for a few villains" Mr Aizawa continued.

"I'm sorry sir but why not? It's just a stupid sports festival!" Mineta interjected, getting confused looks as members of the class look at him.

"Mineta you know how important this sports festival is right?" Kirishima asked, Mineta nodding. "Of course I do! I just don't want to get murdered!" Mineta continued.

"Our sports festival is one of the most watched events in the entire world, in the past everyone obsessed over the Olympic games, but with quirks starting to appear, the Olympics have been massively reduced, and the only thing that now matters for competition, there is only one tournament that matters, the UA sports festival" Mr Aizawa said.

"Not to mention top hero's across the globe will be watching, this is where you get scouted!" Yaoyorozu said, clenching her fist as Kaminari nodded. "Yeah she is right, after graduating a lot of people join pro agencies as sidekicks" he continued.

"Correct, joining a famous hero agency will grant you greater experience as well as more popularity, that's why the festival matters. If you wanna go pro one day, then this event could open a path for you, no aspiring hero can afford to miss this opportunity. That means nobody better be slacking on their training!" Mr Aizawa said, the last few of his words carrying more weight behind them as the class all nodded.

"Yes sir!" The class said in unison, all clearly pumping themselves up.

"Good, class dismissed" Mr Aizawa said, miraculously somehow already halfway into his sleeping back as he begins to sluggishly crawl out of the room, despite having both his arms wrapped up the sleeping back still continued to slowly cover him.

Everyone relaxed in their seats, starting to pack their bags. Some left the class immediately for lunch while others started to congregate together in groups.

The majority of the class were still in the room, except for Koda, Todoroki, Mineta and Aoyama. Nobody really knew what to say, still processing the two major information dumps given to them.

"I can't believe it, he was one of us damn it" Kirishima muttered, the first to break the silence.

"He was, but we all knew about his personality, it was as explosive as his quirk" Yaoyorozu said, gaining a few nods of agreement. "He knew he was strong, but held no humility towards his strength" She continued.

"Yaoyorozu is correct, he always tried to best his pears, rather than learn with us, he saw us as opponents, not allies" Tokoyami said, his arms crossed and eyes closed as he leaned against his desk.

Everyone remaining in the classroom either gave a tired sigh or a disappointed look, unable to truly put together how someone destined to be a hero could fall to villainy at the first possible chance, and without hesitation for that matter. Iida was the first to act, seeing his fellow students looking down, as class president he was determined to lift their spirits.

"Class! We cannot let the unfortunate circumstances of our previous classmate discourage us from our reason for being here! We are heroes in training, we cannot let the poor decisions of one person affect our spirits, especially when we have such potential!" Iida said, pointing his hands in his character pointed finger stance as he pointed at different members of the class.

Kirishima shook his head, giving a confident, toothy grin before raising one of his legs up on his stool, standing over everyone as they looked to him. "Lida is right! This is our chance to show the world where we went right, to prove that we are on the right step to protect everyone!" He shouted, his confidence radiating to the others, gaining nods of personal confidence from everyone else in the room.

Everyone gave a small cheer when Kirishima finished, everyone refusing to forget why they are here. The students continued to talk for a while after, now excited for the sports festival in the upcoming days. Soon Shoji began to pack up his bag, flinging it over his shoulder as he looks at the rest of the class, slightly adjusting his mask back to fully cover his mouth. "I'm going to go check on Midoriya and see how he is doing before the next class, anybody want to come?" He asked, seeing a few heads turn at the mention of Midoriya.

"Yes! I would like to accompany you Shoji" Lida quickly said, grabbing his already packed bag as he headed towards Shoji, both heading to the door. "Don't forget about me!" They heard, seeing Kirishima running over, frantically stuffing his notebook into his bag as the trio soon walked out of the classroom.

The three continued walking, soon making a turn passed classroom 1-B, promptly stopping as a brightly green, thorned haired girl bumped into Shoji as they walked by. "Oh! Please excuse me" Shiozaki said, bowing her body in full apology. "Oh please, its fine really!" Shoji said, scratching the back of his head with one hand while three others tried to wave off the apology.

"Miss! Walking like that in an academic facility can lead to serious injury! You should head more caution in the future!" Lida said, diving between the two, his hand swinging in its classic way to get the point across.

"As I said I do apologise" She said, turning to bow to Lida this time. "I'm on my way to see your classmate to see how he is fairing after yesterdays events" She said, raising her haid to look at the trio.

"Hey we're off to go see Midoriya as well! You should tag along!" Kirishima said, showing off his toothy grin, Shoji nodding at the idea. "Yeah, the medical staff will probably be more willing to let us visit if we all go as one" Shoji said, unable to take his eyes off of Shiozaki. She gave a smile, followed by a faint nod as she walked next to Shoji and Lida. "Sounds good to me" She said, her vined hair grasping onto her fallen bag as the vines brought it close to her, holding it close to her chest before the party headed to the medical wing of the school.

Midoriya and Jiro were still in the medical room, just under two hours passing from when the teachers came to talk to them. Both were enjoying the food that had been prepared by the food canteen. Both had a portion of rice, Midoriya enjoying a curry dish while Jiro went for a pork cutlet. Jiro had moved to sit on the end of the bed with her legs crossed facing Midoriya, Midoriya staying under the covers as he propped himself up with his pillows. Both ate in silence, occasionally looking up and smiling at each other.

"Um, Kyoka" Midoriya said, swallowing a mouthful as he placed his chopsticks onto his bowl, looking ahead to Jiro. "Should we tell people about u-us?" He asked, slight worry in his voice.

"This caught Jiro off guard, but no enough to choke on her food as she finished her mouthful, swallowing it as she looked at Midoriya. "I don't see why not, their aren't any rules about us not being allowed to date, so I don't think we should try to keep it a secret. Maybe we should keep it quiet for now though, at least until we get everything fully sorted" Jiro said, Midoriya nodding along to her idea.

"Yeah that sounds good" Midoriya said with a smile, picking his food back up as he continued to eat, Jiro soon joining him with her own smile. It wasn't long until they were both interrupted by a knock at the door, both looking towards it as Jiro quickly scooted to the very edge of the bed, as to not have people get any ideas about them.

Shortly after the knock, Shoji, Lida, Kirishima and Shiozaki walk in, causing both Jiro and Midoriya to smile wide. "G-Guys!" Midoriya said with a bright smile, putting his bowl to the side as he gave a smile wave, trying to welcome them to his 'room'.

"Sup Midori-bro! they taking care of you in here?" Kirishima said, his grin never leaving his face as he quickly moved to the side of the bed, lightly punching Midoriya's shoulder, causing Midoriya to give off a small laugh as he rubbed the spot that was freshly punched.

"Yes how are you holding up Midoriya?" Lida asked shortly after, moving to the side of the bed as well as he looked over Midoriya, trying not to look at his neck for too long, admittedly wanting to get a closer look as Shoji and Shiozaki silently walked behind Lida.

"Y-Yeah they are keeping me good and healthy, should be good to return to lessons in a couple days, maybe even tomorrow at the rate Recovery Girl is healing me" Midoriya said. Jiro smiled along to his response, over the moon about the rate of his recovery.

"Yeah, and I bet having Jiro here is good company?" Kirishima said with a chuckle, the comment innocent but Jiro and Midoriya took it very differently, both blushing as Jiro continued to eat to hide it, Midoriya stammering and hiding his face with his hands. "W-What's t-that suppose to mean?!" Midoriya asked.

"Because she's smart and probably helped you keep up with the lessons right?" Kirishima asked, his face turning to confusion as he explained himself. Midoriya quickly tried to compose himself. "O-Oh, yeah she's been g-great" He said, scratching the back of his neck before wincing, feeling his new scar in the shape of a perfect blast mark.

The room went silent at that, both Shoji and Shiozaki stepping forward. In perfect unison they bowed their heads, both saying "Sorry" In unison once again, their classmates could confuse it for them practicing this beforehand. Both of them look at each other, confused as to why they were both apologising. Shoji cleared his throat, standing up as he looked at Midoriya.

"Midoriya if I got their sooner you and Jiro wouldn't have been nearly as injured, I could have prevented so much if I just pushed myself harder" Shoji said, each word only making his fists tighter more.

"No its my fault, if I moved faster I could have gotten to the teachers sooner. I should have used my vines better to get to the tower faster and inform everyone!" Shiozaki said, unable to lift her head to look at anyone in the eyes.

This had clearly been waying heavily on both of their minds, clear to see by their words and how they are looking. It broke Midoriya's heart, to think that someone could be blaming themselves for what Bakugo had done to him. But in an unusual way, it warmed his heart. It warmed his heart to see someone care for him, to make sure he is ok.

"No! None of this is any of yours fault. This was all Kacchan, he did this to me. You two are the reason me and Kyoka are even here, you both did your best and that's why I'm still here. You shouldn't be asking for my forgiveness, I should be saying thank you to you two!" Midoriya explained, looking at the two of them, tears threatening to break through his eyes. Jiro nudging forward slightly to rub the bottom of his leg, stroking it through the sheet to try and keep him calm.

Both Shoji and Shiozaki listened to Midoriya's everyone word, the relief from both of them practically dripping off of them, their postures relaxing as they both looked relived from his words. They both sighed looking at each other and nodding as Shoji helped her up from her apologetic bow, offering a hand that she gently took.

The room calmed down, everyone happy that the tension had been so quickly quelled. "Well I think I should get going, I'll see you around Midoriya ok?" Shoji said, raising his fist to Midoriya, Midoriya looking at it in mild confusion before looking at shoji. Shoji give a faint chuckle, raising his fist slightly before Midoriya realised what he meant, lifting his own fist as he softly bumped it.

"I should bee leaving as well, thank you Midoriya" Shiozaki said, smiling at Midoriya before leaving, joining Shoji as they both headed to the door, leaving the room.

"We should be leaving as well, but before we do Midoriya, are you aware of the upcoming sports festival?" Lida asked.

"I know what it is, but completely forgot how close it is!" Midoriya said, his voice filled with excitement as he looked at Jiro, her face clearly excited but nothing compared to his practically beaming features.

"Well we will see you in class, I'm sure the teachers will give us more info in class tomorrow" Kirishima said, lightly tapping Midoriya's shoulder with his fist again. "Get some sleep Midoriya, your gonna need it to beat me at the festival" Kirishima continued with a confident laugh, walking to the door with Lida.

"Bye guys!" Midoriya said, saying goodbye to his friends, a word he was still get used to, but he loved that he was getting used to it fast.

Midoriya and Jiro were once again alone, Jiro quickly scooting closer to her new boyfriend as she hugged him tight, laying in his lap with a content sigh. Midoriya smiled down at her surprised by the sudden action as his cheeks flushed. He kept on smiling though, moving her close to his chest as he stroked her hair gently, his fingers gliding through her short, but soft hair. His other arm wrapped around her shoulders, keeping her close to him.

"I could get used to this" Jiro said, a faint yawn escaping her lips. She wanted to move away, knowing they still had school work to do, but she didn't care, she knew that if she fell asleep Midoriya would wake her up, so she just nuzzled further into his lap.

Midoriya faintly laughed at her comment. He wanted to get her off of him, they had more school work to do and she had to go home at some point, moving his hand up to cover his yawning mouth. He could afford to catch some sleep though right? Afterall Jiro will wake him up if he sleeps for to long. Yeah...that'll work.
