"Thanks for walking me home, Adrien," Marinette said, as they stopped in front of the bakery. "Hey, I'm glad we got to spend some time together and who knows what akuma villain could be running loose." Marinette smiled. "Don't worry, Ladybug and Cat Noir are always watching over things." Adrien blushed. "Would you like to come in for a few minutes?" "I think I can spend mere seconds with a pretty girl like you," he joked. "Thanks."
Marinette unlocked the bakery door. "Where are your parents?" Adrien asked. "Chocolate convention. Usually when there away, I try my hand at frosting. I mean, what happens if I don't get into fashion school?" "You will," Adrien assured her. "But frosting sounds like fun. Mind if I do some frosting with you?" "I'd like that."
Marinette took out a case of a dozen cookies and selected some piping bags. She could always whip up another batch of cookies or frosting before her parents got home. "Okay, so hold the frosting bag like this…" Marinette demonstrated by titling the bag at a angle. "Like this?" Adrien held the bag perfectly. "Yes! Hey!" Adrien grinned as he piped two squiggles on her cheeks and dotted her forehead. "Don't frost me, Agreste! The cookie!"
Soon, Adrien was concentrating hard. "Look! I made a kitty!" "Aw, kinda looks like Cat Noir. He's kinda cute, you know? I mean…." "Oh, Marinette is there something your not telling me?" "No?" she squeaked. "Uh-Huh," he smirked. "Don't tell me your conniving as he is," Marinette said. "I mean, when that naughty tail gets going…." "Sounds like someone has a crush," Adrien sang.
"Oh, your going to pay for that," Marinette teased back, blowing a handful of flour. So, a flour fight ensued and since the heroes were both competitive it was hard to call a winner. "How about we call it a draw?" Adrien asked. "How about you help me clean up this mess and take me out for dinner?"
That authority, Adrien was impressed. She reminds me of me of Bugaboo so much at times. "Only if we stop for ice cream after," he grinned. "Deal."
Marinette felt like she was floating on air when she got home. "Thanks for the date, Adrien. See you at school tomorrow?" Adrien answered with a kiss. "Was that a goodbye kiss?" "It was," he kissed her again. "Until we say hello again."
