Hello friends, here am I with another chapter.

This chapter is a good one, its length being more in line with what I intend for my chapters to have.

I hope that you all will like it.

DISCLAIMER: I don't know if I should do this or not but whatever, I don't own anything here apart from my OC's.

The rest of my day after being taken back by the two Tengu went about pretty normally, I took a warm bath and then had a sumptuous dinner, very good stuff. During the dinner I met with Yasaka again, having heard that I returned from my training she came to see how I was doing and how much I had progressed.

"For your first-day training that was already a good progress, Young Master. It's surprising that you got to enter a deep meditative state like the one you describe, but I guess a god would have an easier time meditating upon the mysteries of its own domain"

A god is essentially a force of nature made manifest, their connection to the rules that govern reality and their mysteries is very deep, that deep connection allowed me to see that 'lake' when in my meditative state earlier. In essence, my godly domain, the mysteries of 'Frost' itself, was giving me a helping hand so I could master my powers.

I guess that's another reason why gods are so strong.

If they wanted to master more power or some new skill, as long it was something related to their domains, nature itself would give them a guiding hand so they could master it better and quicker than anyone else. Frankly speaking, a god has no business losing to anyone on their own game, only to other divine beings, if they do then in my honest opinion they squandered away their natural gifts.

Anyway, I was happy knowing that I was indeed progressing well.

I then finished my dinner, chatted with others for a bit, and then went back to my room to sleep. Waking up in the next morning I hesitated about ringing the bell again, what happened yesterday after I rang it was still fresh in my mind.

Thinking about something I got out of bed, opened the door, and looked around.

-And sure enough, that entourage of maids led by the bespectacled and pink-haired beauties was there waiting for me.

"Good morning, Young Master" they said.

Now knowing they would be just outside my door waiting I started feeling kinda bad, they would awake early and wait outside my room to help me, only for me to not call them and walk away. In essence, they would've wasted their time on nothing. Not wanting that, and knowing that they genuinely just wanted to help, I decided to allow them to help me in the morning.

Yes, that's something that still feels very weird to me not gonna lie, but I guess that's a new aspect of my life I'll need to get used to. Besides, it's nice to hear a good morning as you wake up, they also get to fill me in on any news and all.

I wouldn't be dressed up as a baby though, I wish to at least have that dignity! They can fetch my clothes and help me comb my hair, but the dressing part I can do myself thank you very much.

Having hashed that out with them things proceeded harmoniously, after I was ready for another day I made my way to the dining room, the maids (I guess I could even say 'My' maids) following right behind. Arriving there a similar scenario to yesterday waited for me, sitting down with Yasaka and the Tengu duo we had a marvelous breakfast before then addressing what I'd be doing that day.

"For today I Initially had planned a continuation of your training from yesterday, but an important someone requested to meet you" explained Yasaka with a calm tone.

I raised my eyebrow at her words, curious as to who this someone is "May I know who I will be meeting?"

"You'll find out soon enough" She said with a playful smile "Be sure to bring your sword along, you'll need it"

Now I was really curious!

Leaving the dining room Yasaka alone led me to another part of the palace, going past the training field of yesterday and walking some two minutes on a path we arrived in a secluded area where I could see a dojo at the end. Looking at the building my eyes began shining with curiosity and wonder, seeing my look Yasaka explained:

"This is a private dojo used by me or anyone that I give permission, secluded here to give those training inside a private and quiet place to hone their skills. There are also other dojos in a training compound on the other side of the palace, set for open use to all working under me"

That's interesting to hear, it makes sense for Yasaka, a Daiyoukai leader of an organization, to have a private training place for her and her close associates. The training field, the lake, and most of what I've seen so far here are most likely of her private use (and mine too now I guess). And if this person I'll be meeting is an 'important someone', it makes sense to be meeting him or her here.

"This building feels… different. Yet also familiar in a certain way…"

As we approached the building I began feeling something odd about the building, a certain aura was emanating from the place that was different from what I had felt anywhere else in the palace, an aura of power different yet quite similar to one I knew.

And how could I not know it well? I was covered in it after all

'Divinity…'

Yes, an aura of divinity was emanating from within the building. It wasn't the same as my aura of divinity, but the core 'feel' of it was similar enough to tell me it was indeed the aura coming from another being of divine nature.

"Guess I'll be meeting another god" I muttered under my breath.

I mean, if I couldn't figure that out by now I would be an idiot.

This will be the third god I'd be meeting in three days, an impressive record if I do say myself. But then again, with me being a Shinto god myself meeting other gods shouldn't be that surprising or impressive.

The question now is, what god I'll be meeting?

Amaterasu's and Susanoo's names flashed in my mind, but since I already met them it wouldn't make sense for Yasaka to do this mystery.

Maybe I could figure out who it was from the feel in the divine aura, I was able to do it with Amaterasu and Susanoo, two big-named gods, I don't see why I wouldn't be able to do it again.

"So the 'Makami' finally returned to his homeland, huh? It was about time!"

Thud!

Before I could start guessing who the god I was going meet was, a strong voice laced with divinity came from within the dojo, followed by a strong force that pushed the dojo's doors open as we approached them.

Stepping inside and looking around I saw that the dojo was an impressive place indeed, with racks with weapons to the side and seals with sayings of enlightenment on the walls the place emanated an aura that would make anyone eager to start honing their skills.

However, amazing as the place's aura was it still paled in comparison to the aura coming from the person sitting at the center of the dojo.

The person in question was a man, looking to be in his fifties the man's hair and beard were half-white half-black, and his firm eyes gave a strong feeling. From what I could see his muscles were well-defined, not losing at all to Susanoo's, his physique however was more on the broad side. He wore the robes of a samurai, red and golden in color he wore them in a neat and pristine manner, quite different from Susanoo, and he was sitting on the ground in seiza with a sword in a red scabbard resting before him.

He was a god and the source of the divine aura that I was sensing on the way here, that was clear as day. And now that I was this close to him I took the moment to give his aura a better look, quickly seeing that it was one brimming with martial prowess.

'A master of the sword…'

That was the feeling I was getting from the man, the divinity emanating from him reeked of martial prowess, if I closed my eyes and focused on it I could even see the image of a warrior wielding a sword against a whole army, a master of the way of the sword that numbers alone could never stop and that was more than worthy of standing amongst the divines.

I also could feel something else on his aura, something that reminded me of thunder and lightning, but that at the same time had a smell that reminded me of fire.

"Takemikazuchi…"

Like before when meeting Amaterasu and Susanoo, a name escaped my lips without me realizing it. If I had to guess some information was passed to me from my ancestor through our shared divinity, when meeting those gods that he knew a feeling of recognition would hit me and their names would escape my lips.

I could also be wrong and this is caused by something else, but I'll ponder about that later.

"Seems like the 'Makami' hasn't forgotten me..."

Hearing me say his name the Shinto god of sword and thunder allowed a light smile to appear on his stern face, seeing his reaction I too allowed a smile to appear on mine.

"It's an honor to be having you here in Urakyoto, Lord Takemikazuchi" Stepping forward Yasaka greeted the warrior god with an elegant bow "As per your request I brought Young Master Lucius here"

"Thank you Yasaka, for agreeing to my last-minute request" Nodding at her in gratitude Takemikazuchi picked up his sword and stood up, walking towards us he said looking at me "Lady Amaterasu asked us gods to give you some time to adjust to your new reality before stepping forward to interact with you, but when I learned that Susanoo already gave you that blade, I knew that I needed to skip the line and meet you as soon as possible"

Hearing his words I instinctively put my hand on the sword magically attached to my hip, the reason why Yasaka asked to bring the sword getting revealed.

"You mean my [Sword of the Frost Wolf God (Kôri Ôkami no Tsurugi] ] ?"

Even though that was an idiot question to ask, given how obvious the answer was, I still needed confirmation.

To my question, the older god nodded and then said:

"You learned the blade's name? Good. It means you're indeed worthy of wielding it" Arriving before me he extended his hand "It's nice to meet you finally, Lucius"

"It's nice to meet you too" I accept his handshake "Or should I say 'It's nice to see you again'? Although I'm not my ancestor, I feel like these words fit the occasion as well"

"Indeed" To these words of mine, he nodded in agreement "Seeing you is simultaneously like meeting an old friend and meeting someone new. Though you're not the same 'Okuchi-no-Makami' from before, you're still a 'Makami'. The vessel may have changed, but the divinity still is the same"

"You don't say...'

His words made me think back to the nature of my new self.

Although I'm not my ancestor, my mutated atavism at birth made me genetically way more similar to him than even his direct children. Coupled with me now having his divinity, a once integral part of his being, it wouldn't be wrong for others to see me as my ancestor reborn.

He was the 'Okuchi-no-Makami' and I too am the 'Okuchi-no-Makami', though ultimately two different persons, in a way we are also very close to being the same one.

'This is getting too existential for my taste'

Feeling like I was losing myself too much on this line of thought I mentally slapped myself back to reality.

"Back to what I was saying, could I please take a closer look at your blade?"

Asked Takemikazuchi, seeing nothing wrong with that request I agreed.

"Sure"

"Thank you"

Handing him my totsuka blade I watched in amazement as the god handled the weapon with the grace of a master, but there were also traces of familiarity in his handling.

When unsheathing the sword and looking at the blade, the look in his eyes showed nostalgia and remembrance of someone thinking about an old friend. That look was very genuine, both my own judgment and my divine instincts told me that.

"[Kôri Ôkami no Tsurugi]…" The warrior god looked at the blade with emotion "I remember the days I spent training Makami in the way of the sword while he wielded this blade. This is a divine weapon specifically made for him, a literal piece of his divinity forged into a sword. A gift from the gods to him in commemoration of his apotheosis back in the old times."

Hearing more about this divine weapon that now belongs to me is always interesting, learning how more or less the sword came into being and how my ancestor got his hands on it is nice, I even felt my connection to the weapon growing just off this fact alone.

However, there was another thing that really caught my attention.

"Wait- You taught my ancestor swordsmanship?"

To my question, Takemikazuchi snorted.

"Could it have been anyone else?" Sheathing the sword, he gave it back to me "No offense but a wolf doesn't naturally know how to wield a sword. As a 'Celestial White Wolf' your ancestor had a natural talent for energy manipulation, the use of his signature flames, but the use of the blade was a talent he had to nurture under me"

Hmmn, makes sense in a way. Though I wonder if should take offense to what he said or not…

"That's why I wanted to meet you, having trained the first 'Makami' in swordsmanship it was only right for me to train you, the second 'Makami', in swordsmanship as well. Something that the other gods agreed on" Explained the god in a calm and passive tone "I was going to wait before coming forward to teach you, but with you already having the [Kôri Ôkami no Tsurugi] I felt like the schedule needed to be pushed forward, less you misused this divine sword"

"Thanks…?"

What else could I say to that?

But in all seriousness, what he said made total sense. As someone that knew jack shit about swordsmanship, a normal sword in my hand would already be a bad idea, let alone a divine one made for a god.

From what I was filled in the power of the sword would match mine, which made the damage it could cause limited for now, sure, but it is still a divine blade and I really don't want to see what kind of problem I can cause with it by misusing it.

Having a 'sword god' teach me the way of the sword, the same one that taught my ancestor is the best setup I could ask. With that in mind I turned to the god Takemikazuchi with a serious look, then giving him a respectful bow I said:

"It'd be an honor to have you as my master"

"Good!"

The older god smiled happily at me, nodding at me with a pleased expression. From nowhere he made two cups of sake appear on his hand, he gave me one and kept the other "Drink this" he said.

The prospect of drinking something with alcohol didn't attract me as much as it would others, but understanding that this was a sort of master-disciple ceremony I didn't make any fuss, doing as he said I drank the sake alongside him in one swing.

Also, I being underage probably doesn't matter at this moment, but again we both are Shinto gods so I take that mortal laws don't matter to us. I just really, really hope that nobody tells my mother about this, I know for a fact that her reaction wouldn't be pleasant!

"From now on, until the end of times, I, the god of sword and thunder Takemikazuchi, will be the master of Lucius Branco, the god of wolves, in the way of the sword!"

The older god's voice at that moment carried weight and power that it didn't have before, I could feel the world around us rippling due to his words, nature shifting, and nodding at his declaration.

So this is an older god, huh? The power to make the world itself ripple and resonate to your very words… I look forward to reaching this height!

Turning around to look at Yasaka I asked her "This will not mess with my training with you, will it?"

She shook her head "Not at all, Young Master Lucius. Train away without any worries"

"Nice!"

With all that out of the way I and Takemikazuchi walked to the center of the dojo, stopping and turning to me Takemikazuchi said "Let's start with the very basics"

Saying that the man asked me to step back a bit, he then drew out his sword and assumed a perfect stance. He then did a masterful slash, a simple move that nonetheless radiated a profound aura. Still in the slash stance, he began explaining;

"When you swing the sword down, what's first important is "The function of the inner and outer circumference of the circle". Your left-hand holds near the end of the handle, and your right near the guard. Because you swing under such conditions, you need to understand the different functions"

His voice was clear and his tone invoked the image of expertise, understanding what he was saying wasn't as hard as I expected.

From what I understood from his words, in essence, because your right and left hand hold different parts of the handle, the course they move are different, as such if I wanted to learn how to properly make a swing I need to learn how to control these differences.

"Your left hand goes around the inner circumference of the circle and your right the outer…"

Takemikazuchi saw that I was following his words and gave a content nod, as he continued his explanation he began doing the movements he was talking about so I could better understand

"Your left-hand starts swinging with the ring finger and pinky, once your movement starts the right hand joins, and it comes together here" He says as the blade reaches a position that would have been a foe "-And from here you bring your hands down as you keep your elbows bent. By doing this, you can correctly cut this area"

Repeating the move he continues his explanation.

"Your left hand starts the swing, your right joins right after the 'Mono-uchi', and the power comes together at the point the sword hits the target. At the end, it's important that the sword comes to a natural stop, and that your arms are slightly bent so you can attack again If necessary. By swinging this way, your sword will correctly transmit the most amount of power when your arms are stretched"

I listened to the sword god and watched his movements with rapid attention, my eyes shining with wonder as I was having the amazing experience of being taught swordsmanship. Not that fake shit you see a lot in movies and shows, but the real deal that was created and honed along many eras of practical use.

-And direct from a sword god no less! Arguably the best source to get knowledge about swordsmanship.

Seeing my excited look the sword god gave a small good-natured smile, he then made a cloth appear around the end of his sword before saying "This is a simple testing method, if you perform the swing properly the cloth will be tossed forward…" He did the swing movement and just as he said the cloth got tossed forward "-Just like this. Now pull out your sword and come, let me see if you can do it"

Nodding at him I walked some steps back, unsheathed my sword, and assumed my stance. With a snap of his fingers, Takemikazuchi made a cloth appear near the end of my blade, receiving his signal I went forward and did a swing just as he instructed…

Swoosh

"Urgh…"

-And I failed.

After I did my swing the cloth didn't get tossed forward and actually fell on the floor behind me. Turning around and looking at the piece of cloth that somehow got tossed ten meters behind me, I couldn't help but feel some dismay "I knew I wouldn't get it right on my first try, but damn…!"

As I wallowed in failure the older god watching me couldn't help but chuckle in amusement, his laugh reaching my ears made me turn to look at him.

"Don't be hard on yourself, nobody gets it right on the first try. There were five mistakes that trainees tend to make, and your mistake is one of them" Assuming a swinging stance he called out to me "Come, let me explain all of them so you can understand what you did wrong now and what you can potentially do wrong in future attempts"

His words said with the calmness of a sage and the caring of a grandfather helped me calm down, pushing the bad feeling of my early failure aside I put all my attention on my master.

"The first mistake is 'Putting too much power in both of your hands'. By swinging with both hands at the same time with too much power, the tip of the sword bounces back and you use a lot of unneeded energy"

As he explained he did as wing with this mistake on purpose to showcase his point.

" 'The Sword is your elbows, and the tip is your hands', so your hands that connect the two are just like the joints of your body. So if your hands are stiff, it's equivalent to someone who had a cast over a broken bone. For the sword to come to a natural stop, your hands must hold the handle gently as if it is your wrists or elbows. Then finally your hands need to be flexible enough, to correctly stop the sword at the end"

"The second mistake is 'Swinging only with your right hand', this is especially something that right-handed people tend to do. You can't transmit your power correctly and the tip of the sword tends to bounce back"

Once again master Takemikazuchi made the mistake so I can see it as he explained, hearing what he said and taking just one glance at the mistake I could quickly sense that this one was the mistake I made earlier. With that in mind, I already marked this mistake here as the one that I'll be training to correct the most later.

"The third mistake is 'Completely stretching your arms after the swing'. If you do that it will be very difficult to move to the next action from there, it's just like a spring, in other words, your movement does not flow and is disconnected"

"The fourth mistake is 'Reapplying force just before the swing' "Just like before he made the mistake, then pointing at the sword he looked at me and said "You saw that? The tip of the sword went back more right before the swing, but if you want to do a swing like this you need to bring the sword over your head in one shot and not swing back from there. It'll take more time for you to start swinging and in a real fight, especially ones involving beings of our caliber, even the thousandth of a second would make a big difference"

His words here struck a chord with me.

That a mere moment could mean the difference between victory and defeat was something that even I knew, that's a common phrase in many places. But knowing how fast beings of supernatural nature can move, this fact suddenly becomes even more apparent.

Fuck, I could already move faster than many human experts out there, let alone other trained supernatural fighters. Learning how to not waste precious time in unneeded movements, is just, if not more, important to me as it is for anyone else.

"-The fifth and final mistake trainees make, is 'Moving your elbows first'" He made the mistake and even I could tell that his swing came out wrong "This is more pushing or smacking your sword against something and not cutting. Be sure to learn to tell the difference!"

As he finished displaying the last mistake he sheathed his sword back, turned around, and looked at me with a firm gaze.

"Did you get it all?"

From beginning to end I paid rapid attention to Takemikazuchi's every move, all my divinely enhanced senses focused on him so I could make sure of not losing a single move.

Every change of his muscles, every movement of his hands, his elbows, and feet, every swing of his blade, every channeling of power… I tried to pay attention to all!

My master was Takemikazuchi, the god of thunder, sword, and martial arts. A divine being whose swordsmanship had reached a pinnacle beyond pinnacles, a realm that mortal masters of the sword could only gaze from afar with longing.

The movements he just displayed all looked simple enough, but nonetheless, when watching them one could not help but feel a deep aura emanating from them. A so mysterious and transcended aura, that only didn't make the world around resonate with it because the god himself prevented it from doing so.

Seeing them was enlightening, complementing the teaching of his words in a way that was hard to properly describe.

The image of Takemikazuchi explaining and performing the mistakes got seared into my memory, and although it will still take a long time before I can evolve past committing them during my swings, I'll not forget them and always have master's word in the back of my mind reminding me about them.

Locking gaze with Takemikazuchi and retuning his firm gaze I answered "Yes, I did"

"Good"

Snap!

"?!"

After Takemikazuchi nodded at me with a pleased look he snapped his fingers, suddenly I felt the space around me shift (A familiar feeling by now). Looking around I could see that I was now alone in a different room of the dojo, feeling something I turned around and saw a door leading to the dojo's main hall, there master Takemikazuchi looked at me with a passive gaze.

"Now that you know what you should and shouldn't do, stay in there and start practicing your swings"

"O-Okay. But for how long I should do that?"

"For as long as you can!"

Thud!

Having said that Takemikazuchi didn't elaborate more, nor did he give me any chance to protest or ask more questions, the doors just then swung and closed with a loud bang.

"Geez, could at least have said a 'Do your best' or something…"

Looking at the closed doors I didn't need to go try opening them to know that they were closed in a way I couldn't open.

"Sniff-Sniff… Even his smell and that of Yasaka, of their bodies and aura, can not reach me now. It feels like this is indeed a separate space altogether, I wonder if this is a function of the dojo itself, or did master Takemikazuchi seal this place off with his powers…?"

Well, not like that matters right now.

Furthermore, if Master wasn't kidding, which I doubt he was, I can't this place without doing enough training.

"Well…" Stretching my muscles a bit I drew out my sword before assuming my stance "Let me swing away then!"

Swoosh!

Swoosh!

Swoosh!

Swoosh!

Swoosh!...

...

Meanwhile

Back in the dojo's main hall Takemikazuchi, after having locked Lucius away in the 'Room of Serenity', turned around to look at the golden-haired leader of the Youkais of Kyoto.

"You're lucky, Yasaka. The boy is a good seedling" Complimented the god of thunder and sword "If he keeps the fire I saw in his eyes going, then he will be turning into a fine god in no time"

To his words the Kyuubi smiled, happy to hear the warrior god complimenting the young god of her people.

"Thanks, Lord Takemikazuchi. I feel the same too" Recalling the moments of the god training Lucius she smiled and then said "I'm also grateful for your help, Lord Takemikazuchi. Having you be Young Master Lucius master in swordsmanship is the best possible outcome, with the help of your divine domain he'll be learning the use of the sword in no time! Though I do wonder if Lady Amaterasu will be mad with this development, she did instruct the gods to not interact with Young Master as of yet"

Hearing her worries Takemikazuchi did a dismissive wave.

"Your concern is appreciated, but you shouldn't worry much about that. Though Lady Amaterasu did instruct that, it was an order given before Susanoo did another of his moves and gave Lucius the [Kôri Ôkami no Tsurugi] this early. Limited the sword's power may be as of now, it is imperative for him to know how to properly use it less he hurts himself. Besides, the sooner he grows the better for all of us, in front of these facts she can't be mad"

Yasaka just nodded without saying another word, after all when it comes to talking about gods the less you say the better, a lesson she learned long ago.

Gazing to the side she looked at the sealed-off room, the 'Room of Serenity' where Lucius was now training, a special place to isolate the person inside from any outside distraction so they could wholeheartedly focus on their training,

The space formation around the room was very special and powerful, even twisting time to a certain degree so one could spend more time training inside. Something commissioned by her centuries ago from a… certain someone that she prefers to forget. It is one of her favorite places to meditate and train, very few people get her permission to train inside, Lucius of course can use it whenever he wants.

"Just one more thing…" Said Takemikazuchi drawing Yasaka's attention "You mentioned my divine domain, but I wouldn't put too much stock on it if I was you. My domain of 'Swords and Martial Arts' can greatly speed one's learning of the arts, yes, but Lucius is a god, my domain is limited in how much it can affect him"

Guarding against the effect of a god's divine domain is one of the hardest things to do, is literally trying to fight against a force of nature, but there are a few things that can block them, with the divine domain of another god being the main blocker.

Divine domains are diverse in what they can do, however, if there's one thing that they all do is act as an Omni protection against most outside interferences aimed at the god. They may not block another domain's effect completely, it isn't a perfect protection after all, but it sure helps mitigate the effects.

Due to that Takemikazuchi's domain training boosting ability, even as a friendly effect, doesn't work that well in other gods.

Lucius is a young god, sure, his domain isn't at its peak yet, sure, but it is a divine domain nonetheless. Weak or not its nature is the same as any other, as such it does its duty and does its best to prevent outside influences, especially those coming from other goods, from having an easy time affecting its owner Lucius.

"-Furthermore, be it mortal or divine, there's just only so much that external help can do in aiding one reach the true pinnacle of the sword. If that boy wants to learn how to properly wield that divine sword of his, he will need to put a lot of work into it. Something that I'll make very sure of it!" Smirking Takemikazuchi glanced at Yasaka "My training should also make your job easier, his gains here will aid him during his training with you"

"That's true"

Nodded Yasaka in agreement.

Indeed, training under Takemikazuchi will help Lucius not only in his techniques with the sword. His physique, mind, and energy manipulation skills, will all be honed as well. Bringing positive feedback that will help his progress during his training under Yasaka and the other Youkais, with the inverse also being true.

Still, like the warrior god said Lucius will still need to put a lot of effort, time, sweat, and tears into all his training before he reaches a level that will allow him to walk on the outside world without worries.

He is an anomaly after all, no one has any illusion about his future not being packed with events that will greatly go out of the norm.

"Do you need anything else, Lord Takemikazuchi?"

"Not right now, thank you for asking" Giving the room where Lucius is sealed a deep look Takemikazuchi said "I will let him train his swings until his body gives in, let the motions be ingrained on his very being. Tomorrow after he trains with you I'll teach him other basic motions, mixing Western teachings to give him more depth. We should progress well this way"

Saying that he once again sat on the ground in a seiza, closing his eyes he said to Yasaka with a voice that demanded respect.

"You can go now, Yasaka. As the leader of a faction, many things need your attention"

"Yes, Lord Takemikazuchi"

With an elegant and respectful bow, Yasaka bid her farewell, without opening his eyes the god of thunder and sword just nodded at her actions.

Walking out of the dojo the golden fox Youkai watched an invisible power surge out from the god behind her, Takemikazuchi's domain expanded forward and began covering every inch and corner of the dojo and its surrounding area.

The whole place was now under Takemikazuchi's watch and control!

'That's my dojo you know…' Thought Yasaka with an awkward smile

Though Yasaka had some misgivings about having a god basically take control of her own Dojo from her hands like that, she knew that it was for the best. Takemikazuchi was a fair and honorable god who didn't have anything against the Youkais, his actions are just another layer of protection for Lucius and the other Youkais themselves.

If anyone brave or dumb enough decides to appear and cause trouble, the Shinto god of thunder and sword, Takemikazuchi, will be ready to show them the foolishness of their decision!

'As long Young Master Lucius is safe and sound, I'll have no complaints…'

Mentally wishing the young god luck in his training Yasaka turned around and walked away, many matters needing her attention were waiting for her back in her office.

...

Well, that was the chapter.

Here we got to expand a bit more on the Shinto pantheon with the introduction of Takemikazuchi, the god of thunder, sword, and martial arts, whose name is forever in my memory due to Kanji from Persona 4. Initially, I thought about making Suanoo teach Lucius swordsmanship, but One, I wanted to expand the Shinto pantheon that wasn't explored in canon, and using Amaterasu and Susanoo too much would hinder that. Two, Takemikazuchi fits the role of master way more than Susanoo, his lore and domain make him too fitting for the position of Lucius's master in the way of the sword.

Speaking of which, what you guys think of the lesson here? I used the channel of a real master, 'Lets ask Senki Sensei', as base to write Takamikazuchi's teachings here. Doing so elevated the writing, and, in my opinion, makes all a tad more believable.

Well, that was the chapter. Initially, I had some other happenings planned for this one, but since I didn't want to lose myself in the writing and make this chapter gigantic like the previous one, I held myself back so that it had a more tame length.

The next chapters will be getting a view of Lucius' days on Urakyoto, some of the people and will meet, and some of the shenanigans he will get himself into.

Thanks everyone for the constant support, you all are awesome.

Constructive critics are always welcomed.
