Harry was in a weird position, he was in the living room drinking tea but he wasn't alone, he was being accompanied by a woman he never thought would see again, or at least not after the trials.
That woman is no other than Narcissa Black, the apparent former wife of Lucius Malfoy a death eater who's going to spend the rest of his days in Azkaban and the mother of his sworn enemy during his stay at Hogwarts.
Now, drinking tea isn't the weird part about this situation the person who's drinking alongside him is the weird part of this, she shouldn't be here, there shouldn't be a reason for her to be in his home and yet, here she was.
After the war, Harry had to testify in her favor, so she could save herself from Azkaban which in consequence helped her son too, he didn't care too much about Draco anyway, and luckily not even the corrupt judges could save the head of the Malfoy family to save himself from his punishment.
Harry didn't know how to feel about it back then, he was glad the woman managed to save herself, after all, it seemed like she was nothing but another victim of that bastard, and no, the bastard he was referring to was not Voldemort, it was Lucius, a crazy wizard who seemed so obsessed with the dark lord according to the trial.
After testifying in her favor because she lied to the dark lord about him being dead back then in the forest, he thought he was done with her and her family, not that he had something against the woman, he just felt neutral about her, he hates her husband and her son but he doesn't blame her for them being such idiots.
It's been a little long since the silence started and Harry was starting to feel that the situation was becoming a little uncomfortable, so, he felt the need to say something and suddenly the younger man clarified his voice, and that gained him a stare from her.
"Is the tea good Mrs. Malfo—I mean, Mrs. Black?" Asked Harry with the calmest smile he could show.
Narcissa's calm expression suddenly changed for a more amused one as she smiled at him before she placed her cup of tea on the little table that was close to her.
"Please call me Narcissa, or Cissa if you feel more comfortable," the older woman said as she playfully placed a hand on one of his knees. "I must say that I'm hard to please in a lot of aspects Harry and that includes my tea, and I must say that… This tea is very fragrant and the taste is great," she smiled at him and for some reason, Harry felt more comfortable now.
"I'm glad you like it, this tea was a gift from the Chinese magical ambassador, apparently it's from a plant that blossoms every thousand years," Harry said calmly and the older woman nodded.
"Well, that long time for it to blossom seems worth it then," Narcissa smiled once again and Harry couldn't help but stare at her deep red lips, for some reason they were mesmerizing.
"It's worth it, there's no doubt about it," Harry said in a bored tone as he was more focused on her figure as the older woman suddenly crossed her legs. "Now, I hope I don't offend you with my next words but… I know that talking about tea is not the reason for your visit Narcissa," Harry suddenly said without thinking twice, he went straight to the point.
Narcissa remained in silence for a few moments which made Harry worry, maybe he truly offended her but soon, she smirked before she giggled.
"That's true Harry… I didn't come here to talk about tea, I would love to, but there are more important matters I need to discuss with you," the blonde now was serious and Harry couldn't help but pay attention to whatever she was planning to tell him.
"Well, I'm all ears Narcissa, what's the thing you wanted to discuss with me?" Asked the younger man with a smile on his face, he wanted to focus on other things than her sexy body.
"I know what you've been doing lately Harry… The talks, the speeches, I've been reading the interviews and even bought the books where you collaborated with known authors to talk about what the real muggles are like," Narcissa suddenly told him and Harry just nodded.
"Well, I'm glad to hear that Narcissa, it's good to see more and more magical people interested in the reality and not the myths that surround muggles," Harry congratulated her and she remained in silence for a few moments.
"I've been reading your proposals too, the laws you want to change, the way you want to modify our lifestyles that we've been keeping for centuries and… I want you to stop," the older woman suddenly told him and those words surprised him.
He was taken aback by her declarations, for her to suddenly act like that didn't make any sense, for her to come to his home to tell him all this was weird because most of his haters and people who wanted to shut him, usually do it in other ways like sending letters or even insulting him in public, he doesn't pay too much attention to those people though, he's quite confident in what he believes and nothing is going to stop him from that.
"What? I can't believe I thought you were different, If this is what you came for then I beg you to leave my—" Harry was about to end this conversation but then she stopped him.
"I want you to stop doing what you're doing, you're not going to make any progress in this way, if you continue doing this, the lawmakers are going to keep denying your proposals," Narcissa suddenly said and with those words, she managed to make the strongest wizard in the world feel lost.
"What? You want me to stop spreading my message around the country?" Asked the younger man feeling more confused than before.
"It would be beneficial to you if you lessen all those trips and conferences so you can focus on what you're lacking… You need strong allies inside the government Harry," the older woman said with a smile on her face.
Harry was about to say something but he quickly realized that what the older woman was saying made sense.
"Look, I know this is weird coming from me considering my background but… I think you have an interesting project in your hands, Harry," the blonde said with a smirk and Harry couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"Wait… Do you think my ideas are good? A former Voldemort supporter is thinking like that?" Harry was having a hard time containing his laughter.
"Well now that the dark lord is gone and now that I'm divorced, I decided to give myself the chance to get out of my comfort zone, I decided to travel around the muggle world a few months ago," she confessed with a slight blush on her face.
"I can't believe I'm hearing this," Harry let out a short laugh.
"I know, my son was just in the same state as you, the muggle world isn't that bad, there are some interesting things like the customs, the technology, the food, and the fashion, for Merlin's sake, muggles are truly gifted when it comes to fashion!" Narcissa couldn't help but smile at her memories in the muggle world.
"I agree with the things you said, except for fashion as there are too many brands for my taste, I'm more interested in their technology," Harry confessed.
"You men are the same, Draco is secretly obsessed with those things muggles call… Videogames I think?" Harry nodded at her question. "I think magical people are missing on a lot of good things by being stuck with the medieval way of thinking that has been implanted in our heads since we are born," Harry agreed with her words.
"So, how can I change things? The oldies in the government keep sabotaging me!" Harry said with clear interest.
"Well, for that you need strong allies, I know I may not look so influential, but trust me I have a lot of connections that I think will support your cause," she said with a smile on her face and Harry couldn't help but smile weakly at her.
"If you're truly being sincere about this, I'll own you a favor, I need as many allies as I can get because right now I can't even talk with the minister even after everything I did during the war, those old wizards in the secret government have been blocking me from seeing her," Harry sighed in a defeated tone.
"Don't worry about it, Amelia is my friend, I'd gladly introduce you to her," Narcissa moved closer to him and his eyes widened.
"Are you serious?" Harry asked completely surprised by her proposal
"Yes… But I need you to do me a favor Harry," the older woman said calmly and Harry was suddenly back to reality, of course, she wasn't going to do it for free.
"What do you want me to do?" He asked due to curiosity, he would probably reject her but he still wanted to hear what she wanted from him.
"I want a baby," the older woman said with a smile on her face.
And to say that Harry was confused after hearing those words would be an understatement.
