(Author's Note: Hello my loyal readers! Time for another chapter!

Chapter Five: Relaxation

Concept: Ever since she was five, Julieta Madrigal has had to be a pillar of the community (the family's original "Golden Child"). With the usefulness of her Gift, she could never afford a day off or even time to relax except under the most EXTREME of circumstances. But that was then, and this is now…and her husband is determined to ensure that she gets the rest she deserves.

Something felt…off, though Julieta couldn't exactly put her finger on it.

She picked herself up from her bed and found herself surprised when she saw that she was the only occupant. Agustin NEVER woke up before her. She was a morning bird who rose with the sun, whereas Agustin was more of a night owl who usually had to be woken up (if not nearly shoved clean off of the bed) in the mornings.

So where was he?

Julieta was given her answer when she heard a door open and turned to see her husband, a plate of arepas in his hands.

"Buenos dias, mi vida!" Agustin greeted with a bright smile. He set the plate on top of the nightstand on his side of the bed before quickly crawling back in with the love of his life, wrapping an arm around her and pulling her in close against his body.

Julieta picked herself up and looked at her husband like he'd grown an extra head, "And since when do you wake up before me?"

Agustin just chuckled and pulled his wife back against him, her back to his chest so that he could wrap his arms around her (enjoying how she relaxed against him, despite her confusion). "It actually wasn't as difficult as you may imagine. Why do you think I kept you up so late last night?" It was true. He had insisted that they take a walk after dinner (which they had NEVER done), brought her into a dance in the backyard when they returned (with Julieta being positive that he had intentionally tripped over his own feet to make her laugh), and kept her up FAR after she had intended to sleep talking with one another.

Julieta looked up at her husband with a raised eyebrow, "Well, well, well…I didn't know you could be so manipulative, Agustin."

"Truthfully, I think that "manipulative" is such an ugly word. I prefer the term…"intuitive" to my wife's need for proper rest."

"And who, exactly, has been messing around in MY kitchen while I've been resting?" Julieta motioned her head to the plate of arepas that rested on the nightstand.

"Well…I walked into the kitchen to find Felix and Pepa working the stove. They…were not very successful, so your hermano soon took over."

"And by "not very successful", you mean…?"

"All you need to know is that everything will be as you left it." Julieta turned to shoot a suspicious glance at her husband, but Agustin simply gave her an "innocent/not-so-innocent" smile.

Well…as long as she didn't come into her kitchen to find a mess, she supposes that she could let it go.

"So, you involved my siblings and our brother-in-law in this little plan of yours?"

She wasn't sure that she liked the chuckle that came out of her husband.

"Not just the three of them, mi amor. I've got our entire familia involved since last week. Outside of Luisa, you were always the one who used to work the most…so, you're one of the ones who need the most rest."

Julieta looked back up at her husband, "And how, exactly, did you and our ENTIRE family keep this from me for over a week?"

"I'd like to say simple "willpower" and "determination"…but, it was mainly due to the family members who could keep secrets keeping their eyes on those who couldn't keep secrets."

"And I imagine that you were a part of the latter group?"

"I-," he poked his wife on the nose, "-choose not to answer that question. And don't roll your eyes."

Julieta picked herself up and turned to face Agustin, "I didn't roll my eyes."

Her husband raised an eyebrow, "Didn't you, though?"

"I-," she poked her husband on the nose, "-choose not to answer that question." Agustin didn't reply (although he did smirk), simply pulling Julieta closer to his body. "So, am I to believe that you're meant to keep me here?"

"I'm meant to ensure that you relax. It'll just so happen to be easier if we stay in the bedroom for a little while. You can get some more sleep. I don't think I've seen you sleep in since Mirabel was in diapers!" Although he meant it as a joke, Agustin wasn't wrong. Since she had to take care of her daughters in their early years, her responsibilities to the village weren't as intense as they ended up becoming.

Even with a baby's (often erratic) sleep schedule, those years were probably the only times Julieta could sleep in during her adult life.

"Well," Julieta spoke after a few moments of silence, "If you really intend to keep me here in the bedroom-," Julieta turned to straddle her husband, wrapping her arms around his neck and pressing her forehead against his, "-you should know that sleeping isn't exactly the activity I want to do."

"Really?" Agustin raised an eyebrow, with an innocent face and tone that was so fake. "And what activity would that be?" She knew that he knew what she meant…but, of course, this husband of hers just had to play games.

"I'll give you three hints," Julieta began trailing her fingers along Agustin's chest, "It's something that we can only do with each other-," her fingers reached the base of his throat, "-it's the reason that you and I have our own family-," she held onto his chin with her thumb and index finger, giving him a seductive smile that anyone else would have said did NOT belong on the face of Julieta Madrigal, "-and it's something that you and I enjoyed doing VERY much."

This time, Agustin met her smirk with one of his own, "Well…how could I possibly say no to such an amazing woman?"

Julieta giggled in his ear, "You can't." She laughed out loud as Agustin flipped her over onto her back before he embraced her.

The married couple spent the next hour in one another's arms, simply enjoying the ability to relax and be together.

No chores. No work. No stress.

Just bliss.

(Author's Note: Annnnnnnnd scene! I'm positive this was the shortest chapter of this story yet. Truth be told, I had planned for a different story to tell for chapter five. This wasn't even an idea that I had written down but, rather, one that just came to me. Hope it turned out alright. I've been reading a lot of "Agustin/Julieta" one-shots lately and thought I'd try my hand at one. How'd I do?

I'd also like to do something involving Felix and Pepa. So...let you know if you guys have any ideas.

Constructive criticism ONLY, no flames please.
