Chapter 1: Devil in a Mask (3/5)
Fox Boy:
Things just got more difficult for Fox Boy. He found a safe place to spend the night, or as safe as it could be. He took refuge on a factory or, he thinks it's called factory. But there was a problem, there were several infected on the inside.
He quickly got rid of them with his sword. Once everything was clear, he sat down to play some music on his melodica. But before he could start, he heard the same door that he used to enter. A considerably loud door, as it made quite the noise when opened.
Now he was just sitting down, playing the Melodica as the people that entered observed him from the shadows. Why haven't they shoot me yet? Fox Boy asked himself. They might want to interrogate me, if that's the case, I can't get caught.
In front of him, that's was a small electric lantern. That barely illuminates his surroundings, but it was the only thing available in the house that he was staying.
He kept on playing his melodica, while looking around his surroundings. As although it looked like he had his eyes covered, he could see through the mask.
Here's for you, Nicola and Bart.
Rest forever here in my heart.
Your last and final moment was mine.
That agony is your unforgettable.
Fox Boy hated that song, despite it being something he came up by altering another song's lyrics. After observing around for a bit, he sees a door on the second floor that probably leads to room or something. He decides to put his melodica back on his backpack and move.
Ellie:
Ellie was currently crouched behind Joel, observing the masked guy that they assume that it's the one called Fox Boy. The two observed as he played a song on an instrument that looks like a mixture of a harmonica and a keyboard that Ellie actually liked how it sounded. Suddenly, he stops playing his instrument and puts it back on his backpack. He then grabbed a sword from the ground. The sword was a one-handed straight blade, which he probably used to cut down the Clickers that she and Joel saw, which was no easy task. Fox Boy then grabbed an electric lantern from the ground and started to walk.
"Stay quiet?" Joel told her as he started to walk slowly at the same direction as him. With her following behind him.
I hope Dina is okay, we don't know if Tommy and her found shelter in time. Ellie thought in worry as she couldn't stop thinking about it. But she decided to focus on what she and Joel were doing right now, which was trying to get this weird guy with a mask and try to get some answers from him.
Both Joel and Ellie walked while crouching trying to not make any noise while following the one with the mask as he walks around the factory. This place gives me the creeps. It was her main opinion on that factory, mostly due to the situation that they were in. That guy looks like something straight out of those serial killer movies that Jessie likes so much. Ellie thought as she followed behind Joel
As they notice Fox Boy turning left, where Ellie suspected that the stairs that leads upstairs were. Joel and Ellie followed as quietly as possible. Both hided behind a wall and observed as he walked. He had a very awkward and robotic walk.
Joel went on first as Fox Boy takes the first step to climb up the stairs.
What's upstairs? Ellie wondered as they heard his steps closely.
They waited hearing his loud steps closely as he climbs the stairs. They were also paying attention to the light from the lantern that he was carrying. Which suddenly disappeared. "Wait, where did it go?" Ellie whispered to Joel.
"Stay on your guard." Joel whispered back. Then he pulls out his handgun and he starts to approach the stairs.
Ellie did the same, following behind Joel in order to cover him. The guy has a sword and a gun, we really need to be careful.
Both walk slowly as they reach the stairs, climbing it as slowly as they can, but as they get closer, Ellie feels increasingly uneasy. Where the hell did he go? She couldn't help but wonder as they see absolutely no sign of the light. As Joel is two steps to reach the top, Ellie looks up and holds her gun tightly. But as soon as Joel reaches the top, something happens.
A hand came out of nowhere from Joel left and hammer fist him on the nose. Then Fox Boy came out of the and delivered a very hard shove at Joel, which made him stumble back and fall down the stairs. Ellie unfortunately ended up getting stumble back as well, due to Joel falling over her. Once the two completely rolled to the bottom of the stairs. Both struggle to get up, as Ellie is feeling some horrible pain in her left arm. "AAAAHHHHHH! SHIT!"
Joel quickly reached for his gun in order to point at Fox Boy. But when he does, he notices that he isn't there anymore. Ellie looked at Joel, who was struggling to stand up. "Are you okay?" Joel asked her in worry.
"AAAAHHHHH! My fucking arm!" She yelled in response. The moment that she took a good look at her arm, she could tell that it was broken. "FUCK!"
Joel quickly came over to check on it, probably ignoring his own injury as he was grunting in pain as he did. "Shit, don't move it." He told her.
Fox Boy:
It was the girl from early, with a man that has the same voice as the one I heard on the radio. But no sign of the other girl, so they already know I'm here. Fox Boy thought as he hid in the shadow and prepared himself for an attack. He didn't had much ammo on his gun, so he had to improvise as he would be in disadvantage in case of a shootout. He can hear the girl screaming in pain, probably because she broke something on the fall. Making his way to a office that was on the second floor, Fox Boy decided to hide himself in the dark.
Something that turned out to be a good idea, as he could hear footsteps coming at his direction. Suddenly, that same man that he pushed down the stairs, came running with a gun at hand. He probably noticed that I don't have enough ammo for a shootout. Fox Boy pulled his own handgun out to check how many bullets he had. Five bullets. That was the quantity left. He then moves as quietly as he can, to get a proper position to shoot him. The man walking slowly and minding his surroundings, Fox Boy could tell that he was experienced and that he would have to be careful. He probably left the girl on the stairs, going down was not really an option now as she's probably guarding it.
The office that Fox Boy was hiding in was pretty empty with a few desks on it that had some things on top and some boxes next to the walls, which doesn't give him many options for cover. Darkness was his only ally at the moment. He hides himself next to some boxes on the end of the room.
Unfortunately, the man entered the office with a gun at hand. Fox Boy prepared himself to take the shoot as soon as he got close enough. I can't waste anymore bullets, at least for now. Fox Boy thought as he prepared to take his shot. The man is looking around carefully, ready to shoot anything that moves. I need to be careful, one wrong move and I'm dead. He thought as he could tell that the man had experience. As the man turns his back at Fox Boy, he prepares to take the shot. Taking just a step forward to get a better position. But unfortunately, the moment he took a step forward, he accidentally stepped into a small box that he didn't saw there.
Which to his misfortune, apparently, there was something made of glass inside. Which alerted the man, who quickly turned around to shoot him. Fox Boy quickly jumped to the left to get behind one of the desks in order to evade the shoot. He quickly pushed the desk forward for coverage before shooting above it.
Fox Boy peeked from the side of the table and saw that man did the exact same thing as him. As he was taking cover on the right side of the room. Four bullets, dammit! He thought in deep frustration before moving to the left side in an attempt to take a shoot, but the moment he tried to aim. The man shoot at him, forcing Fox Boy to take cover quickly. He takes a blind shot from the same spot. Three bullets. Not many bullets left on his handgun, the same couldn't be said of that man's gun.
Suddenly, Fox Boy starts think of a solution for his problem. I need to get closer to him, but how? He takes a peek from the left again to see where he was, only to pull back due to another income shot. Dammit, I need to do something. He thought as he was trying to come up with an idea. Wait! Fox Boy then reached for his backpack to check inside. Since his equipment for this mission was limited, Fox Boy collected a few things that could be useful. One of these things was bottle of Vodka on the fridge of one of the houses that he found on his way to that location, which could be used for a Molotov Cocktail. He grabbed a piece of cloth that he had on his backpack and prepared. I need a distraction. He thought as he finished the Molotov Cocktail.
Fox Boy prepared himself to attack, he lightened the Molotov Cocktail with a lighter that he had. In a split second, he stood up and shoot at the table twice, before throwing the Molotov at the desk that the man was hiding behind it. Unfortunately, it didn't land on him, but it did set the desk on fire, causing him to come out of his cover. Fox Boy as the desk was burning, came out of his cover as well in order to get close enough to use his last bullet to kill the man. But it didn't went according to plan, as the man grabbed Fox Boy's wrist when he was about to pull the trigger.
The man was stronger than Fox Boy, so he easily subdued Fox Boy's hand, making him unable to shoot it. The man then, for some reason pulls the gun out of his hand instead of shooting him. He tosses his gun away, before overpowering Fox Boy into the ground and pointing his gun at him. Dammit! I'm too weak, I haven't eat anything since yesterday. Fox Boy thought in deep frustration due to how easily he was overpowered by the man.
"I'm not gonna pull out your mask, but I'm assuming you're Fox Boy?" The man asked as he pointed the gun at his face.
Fox Boy doesn't know why is he still alive right now. "Yes." He decided to answer the man.
"Your the one I talked to on the radio wasn't it?" He asked Fox Boy again.
"Yes." Fox Boy replied again.
"I'm only gonna ask this once, who are you people?" He asked another question.
A small pause ensured as Fox Boy had a small problem. "I don't know how answer your question."
"What do you mean you don't know?" The man asked in deep confusion.
"I don't know who they are myself." Fox Boy has been with them for as long as he can remember, but he himself doesn't really know anything about them. Except for one thing. "They call themselves the Normandies."
"Normandies? Okay, how many of you are there?" He asked.
Fox Boy did count all of them once, thought he doesn't know if the number still the same as it was a long time ago. "Ummm... Four hundred fifty thousand." That was the number he got last time.
"What?!" The man seemed very surprised by that number.
"That was the number last time I counted." Fox Boy replied.
"What does your people want with Jackson?"
"I don't know, they just send me here to prepare the ground of the invasion." Fox Boy spoke honestly, thought, he feels like he shouldn't be telling him any of this.
"Who are you then?" He asked him.
"I'm Fox Boy." He replied.
"Your real name?"
"I..." What is my name? All they ever called me was Fox Boy, but that's not my name, is it?
Suddenly a small pause started on the room, until Fox Boy decided to stop answering his question. Then he decided to make an escape. Before the man could do anything, Fox Boy put him in a triangle choke. The man struggled with it and try to point the gun at Fox Boy, but he grabbed the gun with his left hand and touched the magazine release, making the magazine fall off. He then starts to apply pressure on him. The man struggled for a bit trying to break free from the choke but it seems that he had no idea on how to defend against it. It lasted a few more seconds before the man completely lost conscious. Fox Boy then let go of the choke.
He stood up from the ground and grabbed his gun from the ground. I haven't talked to anyone in a long time, it was... nice. Fox Boy thought as he looks at the unconscious man. Should I kill him? He asked himself. I... Don't want to. Fox Boy points his gun at him, not being able to decide whether to shoot him or not.
Until... Someone shoots him.
"AAHH!" Fox Boy winced in pain as he felt something hit his shoulder. It made him fall to one knee. He turns his head to where the loud sound came from. Fox Boy then sees the same girl that fell down the stairs alongside that man. He was right, she did broke her arm.
She was pointing her handgun at him, looking at the unconscious man on the ground.
There was only one escape for him. Before she could shoot him again, Fox Boy ran as fast as he could towards one of the boarded windows of that office. The girl tried to shoot him again as he ran, but missed. Before she could pull the trigger one more time, Fox Boy jumped through the window. Unfortunately for him, the way down was considerably painful.

Questions and Answers:
Yo, dumb question
Which actor would play Fox Boy if he was in the game? Or voice actor if you don't plan on revealing his appearance.
Which actor? Well... I can't help but imagine Fox Boy being played by Bryan Dechart. (AKA: Connor from Detroit: Become Human.)
I'm curious
What was your opinion on Abby's Character?
Let's see:
Her new home was in the middle of a war and she decided to leave it while guilt tripping all of her "friends" (One being fucking pregnant.) into following her steroid junkie ass to traverse a extremely dangerous environment based purely on a completely loose lead that she got from very questionable sources so she could get petty revenge for her father (A dumbass that got himself killed when he threatened an armed guy with a scalpel.) that died four years ago. And when she... somehow... found her target (How the hell did they even found Jackson in the first place?), she beat him to death in front of his adoptive daughter while she begged her to stop after he saved her life. (Alongside the fact that she was actually planning on torturing his loved ones for his location but found him right away by some unbelievable coincidence.)
Then when we're force to play as her, we discover that her life actually improved after her dumbass of a father died and all this time, she was living a comfortable life in a community filled with decent people, good food, a library filled with books and a fucking gym where she (supposedly) got her completely disproportional body (Who ever thought her steroid junkie physique was a good idea should really get fired.). Then they push a stupid redemption arc where she saves two random people out of a hypocritical sense of guilt ("I'll never hurt someone who saved my life." The girl that beat a guy to death after he saved her from being mauled by infected.) And a forced relationship with a transgender kid who's entire character literally revolves around the fact that it is a transgender kid.
Then all of her "friends" get murdered by Ellie {Good riddance, because they were all a bunch of assholes anyway.) as a result of her petty revenge (I say friends as loosely as possible, because she didn't seen to give a flying fuck about any of them. Well, except for Owen, the two timing creep that she had an guy-on-guy session of ass fucking with on a boat while his pregnant girlfriend was not very far away.) while she's busy going on a glorified fetch quest to save the transgender kid's sister. (Who was the only good character in Abby's story but unfortunately she gets killed off and we get stuck with Lev.)
Then she had a confrontation with Ellie, where she chastised Ellie for going after her in the most hypocritical fashion possible. Beats Ellie to a pulp and nearly slices a pregnant girl's throat without any type of hesitation (Which just shows the type of person that she is, and if you try to use the Mel excuse, you're just as bad as her. And really stupid if you actually think that she gave a flying fuck about that irresponsible moron. {Yes, Mel was a irresponsible moron who shouldn't have left the main base to go on a dangerous mission while heavy pregnant in the first fucking place, she died by her own stupidity}) and only stopped because the transgender kid that she had a painfully forced relationship with looked at her with a puppy face. (Alongside the disgusting act that they try to portray Abby as the bigger person who decided to break the cycle of violence. The one who started that mess, got her revenge and suffered no consequences for it, is the one that gets to break the cycle, seriously?)
After that, she's captured by fat Geralt's group, saved by Ellie by some unbelievable coincidence , the two have a very dumb and unnecessary fight in the water (Even though Ellie has a gun and could have easily shot her when she was tied up.) and Ellie has a out of nowhere flashback of Joel and decided to show mercy and let's her go. Even though Abby started that whole damn mess with her petty revenge, got several people killed, literally didn't take any responsibility for her actions or learned anything from the experience, she still got to walk away, completely absolved with the transgender kid while Ellie, the girl that suffered the most because of her, ends up with nothing.
So, in a nutshell; Abby is a selfish bloodthirsty hypocrite, who's life actually improved after her dumbass of a father got himself killed when he threatened an armed guy with a scalpel and she started that whole goddamn mess for petty revenge, got a bunch of people that were supposedly her friends killed because of it and for some reason, just because she saves two random people that she literally just met purely out of self-interest because she was feeling a hypocritical sense of guilt. We're suppose to think that she's a good person and that she deserves sympathy while Ellie, the girl who's life she ruined is bad for wanting an actually justified revenge as she was forced to watch her father figure getting beat to death by Abby.
