Seventh day of the eighth month, it has been a few weeks since my last entry.

Honestly, Miriel has scolded me for not writing in the past few weeks, repeatedly stating that ceasing to write in this journal could be counterproductive to my condition. Frankly, I don't see the inconvenience. I've had quite a bit of work these days, but nothing out of the ordinary, although Sumia herself scolded me for not 'taking care' of myself properly.

Well, I suppose with the birth of little Lucina, it's obvious that she's in 'mother bear' mode with everyone. I still insist they shouldn't have taken me into account for her birth. I feel honored to be by her side and one of the first to see her, but I never thought the stubborn Chrom would convince Sumia to name her as I suggested.

I repeatedly said it was okay, that they didn't need to think too much about it. Sumia scolded me for 'not having confidence in myself.' I told her several times that the name 'Lucina' was only from one of the heroines in the books we read in our free time, but she insisted that she loved that name and thanked me for suggesting it. Chrom asked me to simply accept it, saying that in his words, if it weren't for me, they wouldn't be here, happy, and living a fairy-tale life. I still don't understand them. I guess that's what happens when tension and anguish leave their bodies.

I still feel they shouldn't have taken me into account. Who knows what nonsense could happen if people find out that they named the first princess of Ylisse as suggested by a Plegian—the Plegian who failed to save the former Exalt, just for that reason. I don't feel worthy.

"Oh, Robin..." Lissa was teary-eyed. Initially, it didn't feel right to be snooping in Robin's private affairs, but if Aversa gave her this diary, it means that at some point, Robin could trust her. So, at least, that could justify it. "You're a fool..." she whispered, thinking that even in such a joyous event as a birth, he felt lesser because of that mistake. Everyone suffered from Emmeryn's departure, but Robin seemed especially keen on blaming himself for something he couldn't control.

"If you feel so guilty, stop reading his diary," Chrom commented, writing as they traveled.

It had been a few days since they left the border to tour the more remote areas. Chrom was only doing it to make sure there were no more reports of Risen in the area and that no bandits were causing trouble. Lissa, on the other hand, was hoping to hear that someone had shouted that they had found Robin nearby. She pouted, somewhat indignant at her brother's lack of tact.

"Well... I'll apologize to Robin later; I just want to understand him better," replied the princess, once again immersed in her reading.

"Don't you consider it disrespectful? A violation of his privacy?"

"Aversa said Miriel gave it to her. If there were any clues about his memory or something he wrote she said I could take it. If she thinks I can find something useful here to help us find him, I'll sacrifice myself for the team to read this hefty book," she said with a mischievous smile.

To be honest, unlike her, Chrom, or even Frederick, the way Robin wrote was so clear, concise, and above all, elegant, that it made her a bit envious. She would´ve to study if she wanted to improve her handwriting.

She continued reading the book while Chrom sighed at her mischievous behavior. She didn't want to get depressed, so for now, he would skip a few entries to see what Robin's thoughts were like after a few months.

"Ninth day of the twelfth month.

This time, the group took me by surprise. I was still preparing supplies for winter, and it's quite entertaining to talk to Donnel. He gave me some ideas for the area's agriculture, mentioning how they used 'explosive seeds' to spread different types of seeds around the fields and graft onto trees to have a kind of offspring that could ward off wild animals with its smell. A curious plant that makes its seeds 'explode' when they fall to the ground. I'll have to talk to Miriel about this; it seems to have potential if used correctly.

But that's not all I wanted to write. The shameless trio of Stahl, Vaike, and Gaius took me to the bar for some drinks. I can't understand how Gaius, even with his sweet tooth, can handle so much alcohol. At least I was the last one standing after a few hours of drinking and chatting. Strangely, I can feel the effects of alcohol, but unlike the others, it doesn't seem to affect my memory. By Naga, I don't know why I have amnesia, but apparently, my memory, even intoxicated, is better than the rest.

I know this because I still remember how Sumia scolded us for leaving the castle for so long. She told them they only needed me outside for a few hours to fix the place. Apparently, as I don't have an official birthday, she, along with Olivia, Cordelia, Lissa, and even Tharja, got together to make a special feast, a little celebration for my birthday.

Well, I don't know what's going on with these people, but bless their hearts. Even though I insisted it wasn't necessary, they said it was the least they could do. We had about eleven months of knowing each other, but these people are too friendly and kind to me.

Even when drunk, I can remember everything that happened that night. While Sumia confiscated any cheap alcohol, wines were something we could try. Sully brought something called "Dragon's Breath," a liquor made with Agave that, if not taken well, can burn your throat. That woman gets what she wants, as she wanted to see me make a fool of myself when she gave me a shot to drink with her, and I almost choked due to the concentration of alcohol in such a small glass. Olivia was great that night; when we arrived, she scolded Gaius for not stopping me from drinking. So she spent the next few hours making sure I wasn't dizzy or too intoxicated. Tharja, on the other hand, stuck by my side while the others kept talking and dining. She took advantage of the short time to take me to that oak where I usually spend reading my books. Surprisingly, she did nothing more than put my head on her lap and use some kind of hex to alleviate my discomfort.

"By Naga... that woman... that witch..." Lissa furrowed her brow as she read his description. "Shameless! Dummy! Womanizer!" she thought, contemplating what she'd do when he returned.

Well, I can't say that everything was strange and puzzling. It's the first time I've seen Lissa so... radiant. By all the gods, I feel ashamed to admit my heart skipped a beat when I saw her descending the stairs. I saw Chrom's jaw drop while some of the Shepherds still didn't recognize her. It was my 'birthday,' but I must say, of all the gifts I could have received, seeing Lissa in that long yellow-blue dress, with her curly hair and little flowers, was the best of all. It was something I couldn't believe. Even Vaike and Ricken didn't recognize her right away. Many were surprised by how openly she was speaking. She didn't leave my side that night and mocked several who didn't recognize her. I'm pretty sure if Emmeryn had seen her, she'd have been quite amazed. She always used to tell me she saw her as a little flower about to bloom. Seeing her like that made me think Emm would proudly say she blossomed into a beautiful young lady. That night, she spared no expense, and it was filled with friends and acquaintances. When I asked her why she was so elegantly dressed, she told me she needed a favor. Several nobles wanted to take advantage of that moment to solidify some contacts and bonds with other nobles who were sneaking into the party. Formally, Chrom couldn't kick them out, so she begged me to allow her to be by my side so that any fool who wanted to bother her or court her would misinterpret our relationship and stay away. Honestly, seeing her beautiful eyes and that sweet face, I couldn't deny her request. Although I think I went too far in hugging her and lifting her in that hug. Maribelle hit me for being too informal with her, but she looked so adorable with that blushing face."

"...You womanizing scoundrel..." Lissa said with a smile, remembering that time. "You said you didn't remember anything... and you... remember almost everything..." she thought with a smile from ear to ear, feeling totally embarrassed by how he described her.

Even with that makeup highlighting her eyes, the perfume she used, and that lipstick, she looked so happy dancing with Maribelle and Sumia. She couldn't believe how beautiful she looked. At that moment, I decided to protect these people with my life. Not out of personal debt, I simply couldn't leave them behind. When that night ended, and Lissa, slightly tipsy, said she loved me a lot, I knew I had to protect her at all costs, along with all of them.

"Ah!... so you remember that?" she asked herself, crumpling the pages that described how she had confessed on the stairs leading to the second floor of the castle. Lissa could remember how he and Maribelle were guiding her. It was quite late, and seeing that Maribelle hurried to open the door to her room to prevent her from getting hurt, in the hallway, when she saw the moonlight highlighting his sweet gaze, she tried to kiss him, but he simply tried to calm her. She could remember how she shouted that night that she loved him madly, and he dismissed it as drunken talk. At least now she knew that, despite everything, he never took advantage of her trust.

"...I'm such a fool..." she murmured with a sigh.

"Come on, don't be so hard on yourself. You're just reading something that Miriel asked to improve his memory, right?" Chrom commented.

"Yeah, but now I feel bad... he really appreciates me a lot..." sighed Lissa. Was it worth reading the diary? Once again, she justified herself because Aversa gave it to her, but a couple of words resonated in her mind.

"Just because you can do it doesn't mean you should." Robin's words echoed in her mind. Why was she specifically thinking about that? Lissa grumbled in the corner of the wagon, trying to think about what to do.

On one hand, she wanted to know more, but on the other, every time she learned more, she realized how wonderfully committed he was to his friends, which embarrassed her, as that level of dedication was rarely seen in others. Now more than ever, she wanted to hug him and show the same level of commitment he had with them.

They needed to find him ASAP.

"Sirs, we're about to reach Southtown," the driver's voice echoed. Lissa quickly stood up.

"Oh! Wait! I want to see it!" She said as she tucked the diary into her bag. The princess peeked through the gaps in the fabric. When she saw they were at the location, she got excited. "Excuse me! I want to get off!"

"Lissa? What's going on?" Chrom asked as the caravan halted at the princess's request. Jumping up to get off, Lissa hurried forward to see the road ahead, feeling the blowing wind and cool breeze. She couldn't help but feel a certain nostalgia seeing this path.

"..." She couldn't say anything; she suddenly felt nervous, like a little girl about to enter a new area with strangers, in a strange situation. She fidgeted with her hands, trying to find something, anything, around her.

"...Is... is this it?" Chrom asked, breaking her trance.

"...almost four years ago... we picked up a sweet fool around here... Frederick could move any little stone that bothered you, and you asked him to stop... and here, we saw him, someone on the ground, unconscious, lost..." She said as they both approached the edge of the road, looking at the hill with tall grass and flowers around it.

She could see some of the guards in charge of the area checking the ground, preparing it to start implementing the knowledge given by Robin. She didn't understand many things, but Robin called them 'cover crops.' Now, they were starting to prepare for the final part of this, and indeed, the place looked greener than she remembered.

Then she saw a figure lying in the grass.

Her heart pounded as she approached, her eyes seemingly moistening.

Later that day in Ylisstol, Sumia had called for a 'girls-only' meeting as there was an urgent matter to deal with.

While Olivia was perched on one of the sofas in the hall, with a hyperactive yet calmed-down Morgan happily receiving head pats in her lap, Sully, Lucina, Cynthia, Sumia, and Maribelle were discussing plans for the week and gathering information for upcoming events.

Chrom would return in a week since it was little Lucina's birthday, and he needed to be present at least a few days before the event to prepare everything and scare off any unbearable nobles who might cause trouble.

While Morgan purred in Olivia's lap, multiple envious glances lurked toward the poor dancer who was absorbed in her own sweet and hypnotic moment with the tactician."

"Right then, we're all in agreement that this is the most important? Don't want the little ones getting bored or throwing tantrums on this important day," said Sumia, who happened to be one of the few unaware of the scene behind her.

"Your Majesty... it's rather tender... I mean, it's quite consistent and wise on your part to start with something light for the afternoon, although I can't agree more about petting Morg— I-I'm sorry, about having extra guests, it'll be good for little Lucina to mingle with other children her age," Cordelia said, getting too distracted by Morgan receiving affection.

"Indeed, a little snack inviting some nobles with their kids to play with little Lucina sounds good. I can get some band members to play and keep the atmosphere lively," commented Olivia, entirely engrossed in Morgan's hair.

"Maybe if we could get some entertainment... if only Nowi were here, she could play with the kids while we're all taking a break..." Cynthia remarked, glancing sideways at Morgan and her sister. Lucina seemed particularly interested in how Morgan appeared half-asleep. "Pssh! If you want, I can help," whispered Cynthia to Lucina, who seemed slightly embarrassed.

"What are you talking about?" replied the princess, picking up the papers. "We're here to do something serious, not t-"

"Olivia! We have no clue about what kind of decorations we should put here! Can you help us?" Cynthia cheerfully interrupted.

"Oh? Of course, I don't see why..." Before Olivia could reply, Cynthia took Lucina's hand and led her to her side. "Huh?"

"Well, it would be great if you could help me with the party's colors and themes, but Lucina is a bit tired... mind if they switch places?" Cynthia asked.

"Sure, no problem," said Olivia, feeling a little sad to let go of the moment, but carefully held Morgan's dozing head so Lucina could take her place. Though slightly unsure, when they exchanged positions, Lucina couldn't help but smile as she ran her hand through Morgan's white hair.

"Isn't she being a bit too spoiled?" Maribelle asked, somewhat jealous of the princess.

"Well, I couldn't deny her that request," Olivia said, embarrassed for giving in so easily to the tactician's demands. "We couldn't go to the market or to some dressmakers to start making more dresses or suits. When little Lucina heard about this and that it might make Morgan cry, she demanded that we compensate her. Morgan said it wasn't a big deal, but..." Olivia glanced at Sumia, who sighed.

"My little one... she cares too much for Morgan. It's quite pathetic on my part that I couldn't negotiate with my own daughter about this... so that was the agreement," said the queen, somewhat dejected.

"Okay, but I don't understand, why is she´s still being spoiled, little Lucina was taken to her room already, cant we just do the same with Morgan?" Maribelle asked.

"Unfortunately, my daughter knows very well when adults are lying and watching over Morgan to be sure she rest is part of the deal. The only person who can deceive her is Robin... and since not even Morgan can lie to her... I just want to avoid any tantrums from her," Sumia sighed again. "My daughter is loving, dedicated, kind, empathetic with others... if I can avoid any tantrums by just making sure Morgan is pampered from time to time, it's a price I'm willing to pay," she said somewhat proudly. "Besides, I don't think she doesn't deserve a break. Morgan helped me with all the paperwork even though she finished this month's reports and is just waiting for those from the more distant villages."

Truth be told, despite Morgan being a well-mannered and good-looking young lady, she often erred on the side of being too good for her own well-being. After the plaza incident, Sumia tried by all means to prevent her from going out to be perfectly sure that no disaster like what happened would happen again, at least not until Chrom returned to help persuade Morgan to stay and enjoy the little youth and 'bad decisions' she could make before spending what little remained of her childhood and the rest of her adolescence in adult work.

She had to be a responsible adult for the sake of Lucina and Cynthia! Sumia had to take the lead and be a good mother to them, a good friend to Robin by taking care of Morgan in his absence, so she couldn't help but feel responsible for the time taken from the poor young girl due to her incompetence in matters she should already have a basic understanding of but needed her help.

The fact that she couldn't even plan her own daughter's party without Morgan's help saddened her deeply.

While both she and her father said 'there's no shame in asking for help when we get stuck,' it was, in her opinion, an abuse of trust not only that Morgan didn't even ask for help to begin with but that Morgan, in her infinite goodness and compassion, could predict what problems they might have and start helping them before they themselves knew they needed fixing.

She turned to look at Lucina and Morgan, surprised by the shy smile on her daughter's face as she cutely stroked the hair of a drowsy Morgan trying to wake up.

"No excuses allowed, young miss! It would be embarrassing and humiliating to present yourself in such a lamentable state not only to the world but also to your saintly father. We cannot allow you to wear yourself out in this manner. We deeply appreciate your help, but if you need assistance, you should let us know and leave these adult matters to the adults," Maribelle said, as Morgan frowned, annoyed by her words. She got up, taking Lucina with her, and they headed to the bed. "Furthermore, I believe we should establish some sort of schedule for these matters. We appreciate your support with the military orders, but it's not appropriate for you to read reports about those despicable and shameless bri-"

Before she could finish, Morgan had already taken off her boots in front of the bed, pulled out a book as she yawned, and with a small gust of wind, threw Lucina into the center of the bed. Then, while they tried to comprehend what was happening, Morgan jumped onto the bed, took off her boots, and lay down on her shoulder.

"MORGAN?!" exclaimed Lucina, trying to understand what was going on. Cynthia started laughing as usual, while Sumia seemed entirely pleased with the scene. But for the other girls, it wasn't quite the same.

"Sweetheart, what do you think you're doing?!" Maribelle said, completely angry.

"...Trying to sleep..." she responded, curling up.

"Sleeping?! What kind of excuse is that? Clearly, you're crossing a line!" exclaimed Maribelle.

"M-Morgan?! Wait, what are you doing?" asked Lucina, completely embarrassed.

"Well... Aunt Maribelle said I needed more rest, and little Lucina uses a stuffed doll of my dad's or mine to sleep at night. I thought of using one of yours, but what's better than the original to cuddle, right?" Morgan said, totally oblivious to what was happening around her. It seemed like she was just echoing without really thinking about what she was saying. "Mmm~ If you're so stiff, I can't sleep..."

"Eh? Oh, yes... I..." Lucina tried to adjust herself, grabbing a pillow to lean on. Morgan let out a small purr when she finally found the right position.

"Lucina?! What do you think you're doing?" Maribelle asked.

"I... well..." Lucina tried to excuse herself, seeing how Morgan was already half asleep. "Well... it's just that... Aunt Maribelle, it's kind of... inevitable? I mean, she made good points about wanting more sleep... and I don't really mind... she was a bit abrupt... but I..."

"It's okay, calm down Maribelle," Sumia said, still smiling. "This has been quite entertaining, but Morgan, my little joyous bundle, I'm pretty sure you've taken your prank a bit too far. My poor heart can't handle this many emotions. I'll let you help us if you stop this now."

"Um... but I'm comfy..." whined Morgan as Sumia sighed.

"Mmm... are you sure? We're almost done, but if you don't want to help, we'll let Lucina choose the remaining decorations and dresses." With that said, Morgan hugged Lucina, pouting.

"That's not fair! She's all soft and cuddly, why would you make me move when I'm already comfortable?"

"Life is sometimes cruel," Sumia said, inspecting her nails while listening to Morgan's complaints. "So, what do you say?"

"Okaaaay, I'm coming," Morgan said as she got up with a yawn. "But seriously, I was just about to fall asleep..." she said, rubbing her eyes.

"Wait, did it work?" asked Cordelia, while Morgan grumbled and sat down next to Sumia.

"Well, of course it worked. Over these weeks, we've shared quite a few quality 'aunt/niece' hours, and I've got a somewhat accurate idea of when Morgan's feigning sleep. Though I must say, it pleases me to see that both Olivia and Lucina have that effect on her, even if it's something... I dislike taking away. I don't think sleeping so early is a good idea."

"Excuse me? What do you mean by that?" Maribelle asked.

"Morgan's been having... sleeping issues lately, so Libra suggested we establish an exercise schedule, morning practice, and bedtime. It hurts me to have to wake her up every time she wants to nap in the afternoon."

"I see... any reason why you have this issue?" Cordelia asked Morgan, who just shrugged.

"Maybe it's just puberty," she said while continuing to flip through the dress pages.

"That... hmm..." Maribelle pondered for a moment.

"What?" Cordelia asked.

"I was going to say that's a terrible excuse, but now that I think about it... darling, do you remember if you ever changed in your life?"

"Huh? What do you mean?" asked Morgan.

"Yes, I mean, do you remember if you were... a difficult child, or if you were very mischievous, or hyperactive."

"Mmm... not that I recall. I've always been myself, happy, cheerful, and with the energy of a hundred teenagers," she said cheerfully as she continued shuffling through all the papers on the table.

"I can believe that last part..." Olivia commented. Indeed, seeing Morgan pouting and playing with a pencil, balancing it on her lips, was adorable for her. Thinking about a younger and more tender Morgan was something she could visualize perfectly. Maybe someone like little Lucina? The upbringing that Chrom and Sumia provided for their daughters was excellent, but out of all who knew they had children, Robin, or at least the Robin from Morgan's world, had raised her in a rather peculiar and beautiful way. Despite several... shenanigans, she was someone who simply attracted people with her character and personality.

"Mmmm, darling, tell me, what kind of education do you have?" Maribelle asked.

"What kind of education?" Morgan wondered, trying to recall something relevant.

"Yes, with your knowledge, I would assume you must have had top-notch education if you're so skilled and efficient in everything you set your mind to."

"Well... it wasn't anything grand," she said a little melancholically, and Maribelle regretted asking upon seeing that expression on her face. "I remember Daddy always let me do some tasks in his office; we did various types of puzzles that kept me entertained for hours. He also let me draw and memorize other kinds of papers. He taught me several languages, and I remember how he scolded the aides..." she said with a little laugh.

"Oh? Are you a polyglot?"

"Obviously," she said, sticking out her tongue. "There's nothing more fun than teasing some foolish noble with an invitation they can't read, but who boast about being very open to other cultures."

"I see, so you were mischievous even as a child," Sumia said, starting to write notes that it would be a good idea to teach the same to little Lucina. Indeed, hearing about the educational methods that Robin used would be something she could apply to all the future children who were to join. "I suppose it was at the castle."

"That seems logical," Maribelle added, taking notes as well. "Puzzles for kids? Even simple riddles are something even adult nobles reject from time to time if they are too pampered."

"Is there anything else you'd like to share, Morgan?" Sumia asked, while Olivia and Cordelia watched the scene with fascination. Lucina was still lost in thought in bed, and Cynthia was about to pester her sister to see what was going on in her mind, while Sully began to sip some tea offered by Olivia. It would be hard for anything to darken this scene.

"Right, I remember a few things, especially when it's about Dad, but not much. Lissa, on the other hand, started bragging about a lot of stuff, like their first time" Sumia and Maribelle's pencils snapped in unison, Sully nearly choked as Cynthia stumbled at her words, Cordelia who was leaning on the table with her arms simply slipped, slamming her face into the table, Olivia dropped the sugar bowl. "I also remember th-."

"Excuse me?! Wait, what? How? Robin?! With Lissa?! WHEN?! HOW?!" Cordelia tried to comprehend what she had just said, still with a red nose, she needed more information, she didn't know if the place would hold the wrath of Maribelle and Sumia, who seemed smiling but from the trembling of the queen's hand and the throbbing vein of the noble lady head, it looked like one false step would make several people's heads roll.

"What? is it bad? I can't remember if he told me when it was his first time, but when i found out he didn't remember that, i suggested we had a 'first time', its normal, right? But aunt Lissa interrupted us just to barg that she was his first time"

"Morgan...darling... you...Robin..." Maribelle was trying to speak, she just grabbed a spoon as she bent it with her thumb, letting out some of her stress "Ahhh... let's see..." She tried to breathe slowly and calmly.

"I-I don't think it's what we think..." Cynthia said as she stood up.

"What are we talking about?" Lucina asked, being the only one unaware of what was going on.

"Sis... come on, even I know that!"

"That?" Lucina looked at Morgan who was just as confused.

"You were there!" said Morgan puffing out her cheeks "Aunt Lissa too, she got super jealous and got between us, don't you remember?" Lucina was thoughtful for a moment, until she opened her eyes wide as she laughed

"Oh! That? Well, regardless of how embarrassing it was to watch... it was very cute, and yes, I remember how Lissa got a little upset at the sight of them."

"WHAT?! WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!" shouted Sully, just as annoyed "What kind of sick fetish do you guys have?! it's not possible..." Sully stopped dead in his tracks "wait... that... we're talking about...Morgan, you mean when we had that stay at the hot springs?"

"YEAH!" Said Morgan cheerfully "Ah! yeah right! you were drunk that night and joined Aunt Lissa in her pouting, right?"

"Hey, hey, hey, hey! don't remind me of that, it's embarrassing...to..." Sully noticed the murderous look on everyone's face as they listened to this ridiculous conversation, she raised her hands in surrender as she turned red "Ah, no... isn't that... for god's sake Morgan, I can't believe you have such a broad language but you give these misunderstandings so easily, do you do it on purpose to make fun of us?"

"Huh? Make fun you? But you were there, you remember the conversation we had, don't you?" asked Morgan confused.

"Ok, quiet everyone" Sumia said as she put the rest of her pencil down on the table "Sully, please tell us what they are talking about" She said as Lucina approached Cynthia, who was whispering things in her ear.

"Haaaaah... yes ma'am... well..." Sully scratched the back of his head "She's talking about how she can't remember when was the last time Robin gave her a kiss and a hug..." The girls were confused for a moment, to turn to look at Morgan.

"Yes! I remember daddy saying that we shouldn't be afraid to express how we love our loved ones, but at the hot springs we were talking about a lot of things, he was a little stressed after the fight against Wallhart, and we talked all night, when he told me he didn't remember if he was married or if he had ever had a girlfriend, he said he didn't seem to remember kissing anyone either, at least not in the last two or three years in Ylisstol, so I told him if he wanted to practice some kissing with his lovely daughter, Aunt Sully and Lissa got mad when he kissed my head several times while hugging me, saying that i am the sweetest girl he knew" He said with a wide smile. "And aunt Lissa got aunt Sully super jeaolus when she said she stealed a little peek, saying they were their first by the rules of Emmeryn"

"Oh for Naga´s sake..." Sumia leaned back tiredly against the back of her chair, they all looked exhausted by her explanation, it was certainly something obvious to Robin, they didn't think it was something that was relevant at first glance, but for a father to not be afraid to express his affection for his children? Robin was not shy or someone who would be intimidated by the challenges Morgan gave him, they could certainly see Morgan in the yukatas they were given in the hot springs next to Robin, putting her cheek to "challenge" him and they could certainly see how Robin held nothing back in showing her the affection he had for her, now that they thought in more detail, they could remember how after their stay in that place, Robin always greeted and dismissed Morgan by kissing her head, while she hugged him with all her might.

"Morgan, darling... I certainly have to teach you a few things, a little common sense that your father's saint didn't teach you..." Maribelle said, using her fan to cool herself.

"Wait, what?!" Lucina turned red as Cynthia explained the confusion "But... BUT... WHO COULD BE SO DIRTY TO MISINTERPRET THAT?! OF COURSE THAT COULD NEVER HAPPEN! WHO WOULD BE SO GROTTY TO THINK OF THAT FIRST?!" her words sunk deep into all those who fell into Morgan's unintentional trap."Wait... did you seriously think they'd do that in front of Morgan?! And that Morgan would be okay with such a spectacle?"Everyone who were shocked by Morgan´s word felt ashamed.

"Well... maybe Robin raised my lucina to some extent" Sumia thought "She certainly knows the subject, but she doesn't make the connection to fall into these misunderstandings" Sumia sighed, looking at the other girls who started to have nervous giggles, she knew what they were thinking.

Certainly, even if Morgan needed to practice her social skills, it was that charm that made all those candidates fall in love and they couldn't believe the little tender scenes that were hidden from time to time.

Now she understood why Lissa was looking to do the same as Morgan, as she uncovered her forehead, teasing him, she couldn't believe she was so brazen.

"Ok, new rule" Cordelia said, trying to control her blushing face "Morgan, please, please, pleaaaaase please explain what you mean, without your context, is really difficult to understand what you mean, it can lead to unpleasant misunderstandings."

"¿Uh? what´re you talking about?" Morgan pondered.

"Milady, are you alright?" asked one of the attendants as the empress was preparing to resume her day. Strangely, the teacup she was serving herself had suffered a minor mishap. Despite her position, she insisted on having one of the artisans help her with her predicament, but she would be the one fixing the problem with her own hands.

As she was in one of the local workshops in the capital, Say'ri was repairing one of the cups that Robin had given her. While she was engrossed in the Kintsugi*, she had wasted a significant amount of time. No one reprimanded her for it, but she felt guilty for feeling happy for a brief moment.

"Everyone deserves a bit of happiness" his words echoed as she saw the repaired cup in her hands. Even though it had been an honest mistake on her part, thinking that she had broken something of his was very distressing for her.

"Milady," she heard her escort's voice again. Although she knew who it was, he felt like she was going too far with everything she did. Her brother had ultimately stayed with her; it had been a 'gift,' one of Robin's many gifts. He had convinced her stoic and stubborn brother to stay by her side. That version of him no longer wore black armor, instead opting for a variation of white armor that covered his face. Many times, she had heard him say that he was a 'living ghost,' but after all the ordeal they went through, Robin had persuaded him to move forward, appealing to the honor and affection the siblings had for each other. The stoic samurai had agreed to stay as a way to protect Say'ri in this world, but he couldn't be recognized by anyone else, just a shadow, an impassive figure by her side to keep her safe and correct the mistakes of that world's Yen'fay.

"I'm coming, I just had a moment of thought," Say'ri said as she handed the repaired cup to the artisan and paid him. "Just... as Robin would say, I had a sort of premonition."

"..."

"Let's walk for a moment," said the empress with a kind smile. Her escort and personal attendants followed closely.

Living calm and relaxed days in the capital of her small nation, Chon'sin, Say'ri could only contemplate the city that was still recovering from the last war campaign that had besieged the entire continent in the past year.

"She had been lost in thought while walking along the adorned paths of the capital, only stopping at that stone monument that shadowed her heart. Even though there were signs of conflict in the streets, they were slowly regaining their former splendor and charm. It was something Robin had often described as charmingly picturesque. It was curious that instead of gold, jewels, or even more common requests (as any shameless noble would), Chrom hadn't asked for much. Robin had simply requested to know the place.

What reasonable person would ask for 'culture' as payment? What kind of insane individual without greed or vanity would ask for something as absurd as instructing the future empress about the place and focusing on things like local botany, medicine, and telling him about local myths, beliefs, and customs? What kind of fool without a sense of selfish ambition could ask for such things? Robin was that sweet and thoughtful man. Even though Say'ri's time with the Shepherds had been short, and she initially doubted the 'open-door' policy the tactician had, the fact that the second in command openly accepted listening to others' problems was something that comforted her.

Many, upon hearing this, might doubt or even mock the ridiculously optimistic nature that this man might have. But upon discovering the secret hidden beneath his smile, understanding firsthand how dire his situation was, she, on the one hand, was marked as the head of her family upon losing her brother. The chains of responsibility made her tremble. Robin said, 'There are few things as oppressive as knowing thousands are attentive to your words, and how they might be misinterpreted.' At first, she was skeptical; maybe he was just a strange man repeating empty words without meaning.

She hated herself to such an extent that it wasn't strange for her to bite her lip, remembering how harsh and insensitive she had been with him at the beginning after witnessing what troubled him. After he helped her recover her brother, and Robin sacrificed himself for the world in a 'selfish act' of protecting his only daughter, she felt a dagger in her heart for not having been able to do anything.

"...It's not your fault," her brother whispered. Say'ri blinked a couple of times before reacting; she had been lost in her thoughts for too long. Those intrusive thoughts that struck her when she saw the mural engraved on the front of her palace. Unfortunately, she couldn't write Robin's name; they could only place the mark from the 'Grandmaster' button of his robe. Even though she did it as a reminder of all they had lost, seeing so many people adorn and pay tribute to the fallen didn't sit well with her, as keeping someone anonymous could be considered an insult to their memory.

"I know," she replied somewhat out of sync. As always, she left a small paper lantern with a candle and lit it, kneeling down and closing her eyes for a moment. She could hear some of her attendants complaining again about staining her elegant kimono, but it was the only thing she could do, even for a brief period and only in the lower part; for a while, she could feel how her appearance reflected how dirty she felt inside.

At least she could plead to the heavens for a miracle, that the person who showed her a new perspective would return.

"Milady!" One of the designated secretaries interrupted her prayers, angering Yen'fay, but Say'ri allowed it.

"Ann, what's the matter?" asked the solemn ruler, looking somewhat distressed.

"It's... Lady Tiki... she says she's coming..." said the secretary while handing her a letter.

"The voice is coming to visit? What's so strange about that?"

"She´s ...angry..." said the secretary as Say'ri read the contents of the letter. "There are many things I don't understand from her message... but it's clear that she's upset about a rumor coming from Rossane... she wants to talk to you about something important..."
