Leather jacket clutched in hand Santana stepped into the living room, exhaling nervously she asked "How do I look, she said pants, jeans really would be okay but she said leather jacket so I thought I should just wear my pants." Her hair down and loose the Latina had paired a spaghetti strapped black tank top with her favorite black leather pants, Quinn smiled it was nice to see her baby sister afraid simply because of a date and no other other reason.
"You look beautiful." Quinn promised.
"It's not too much?" Santana glanced in one of the mirrors in the living room, her make up was leaning more to the natural look and not dark.
Quinn shook her head "Hair, make up, clothes are all on point."
"You look beautiful Santana." Eyes wide Santana stared at her sister, the voice behind her wasn't Matt it was Brittany. "I know I'm early but I was excited." Brittany explained. Blinking and exhaling Santana slowly turned, Brittany was nervously smiling at her holding out a lavender rose. Matt was standing behind the blonde, he'd obviously brought her up from the lobby.
"E...early's okay." Santana smiled taking in Brittany's own outfit, a flowy blue tank top matched with her own leather pants, taking the flower from her Santana murmured "Silk."
"Love is supposed to be forever so I didn't want to get you a flower that wasn't." Brittany said softly.
"Thank you." Santana laid it in front of one of her pictures of her mom. "I'm ready or we could sit and have hot chocolate, if we're too early for our reservation."
Matt stood next to Quinn watching the duo, Santana and Brittany were both as nervous as high schoolers on a first date. "This is awesome." Matt whispered getting a quick elbow to the ribs from Quinn.
"Well you girls have fun." Quinn ushered them out. "I have some plotting and planning to do." when Brittany looked over her shoulder concerned Quinn added "If Mike and Tina move any slower they'd be going backwards."
"You should tell them the truth, they know about me," Brittany assured Quinn "tell them they're soul mates."
"Wait, that would work?" Quinn narrowed her eyes, she'd never thought of that tactic but then she mostly worked with mortals.
"It worked with me." Brittany shrugged taking Santana's hand.
"Let's take them to dinner." Matt suggested.
"They like Pierce's, he has really good food." Brittany offered. "We go there all the time, the owner's really nice."
"Do I need to take you there?" Santana asked as Brittany tugged them to the door.
"No, I need to take you there." Brittany shook her head.
Matt glanced at Quinn who was still slightly stupefied "Should I call them?"
Snapping out of it when the front door closed Quinn shook her head asking "Why are you still here?"
"Moral support?" Quinn arched her eyebrow at him "Love for my baby cousin?" Quinn folded her arms "Fine, her sisters are over and there's a ton of them and they're all over the house." Matt laughed.
Quinn laughed, that she believed "You knew what you were getting into marrying one of the Nereids."
"They're planning a cruise, it's best to stay out of the way." Matt chuckled.
"You can stay here whiner baby," Quinn laughed "just let her know where you are."
"Thank you, you and Santana are my favorites." Matt said pulling out his phone "I'll call my wife, you call your matches."
"You're such a dork." Quinn laughed grabbing her own phone.
"That's a motorcycle." Santana pointed at the vehicle that Brittany had guided her to.
"I got it for my birthday." Brittany beamed as she pulled on her leather jacket, Santana did the same admitting.
"I've never been on one."
"It's not scary." Brittany promised handing Santana a black helmet with flames "You just put this helmet on, get behind me, cuddle close and off we go."
"I could do the cuddling." Santana said pulling the helmet on.
"You look so hot." Brittany said straddling the motorcycle, climbing behind her Santana closed the visor before slipping her hands to Brittany's waist, Brittany was going to take her to one of her favorite spots.
Quinn couldn't believe her luck, because she was Mike's last client Mike and Tina were free for dinner "This place is awesome," Tina looked over the menu "and the owner is such a sweet guy." Mike nodded in agreement.
It was a small place, a kitchen really with outside tables but it was nice and the food was great. "Ribs here are the best." Mike told Matt.
"I need to talk to you two and Brittany said you would understand and believe me." Quinn said looking over the menu. "How are the kabobs?"
"Awesome." Tina sang.
Ordering from the only waitress Quinn waited for their drinks before asking "So Brittany says you know, who...what, she is."
"My cousin." Mike said taking a sip.
"A muse." Quinn said waiting for a reaction.
"Surprised she told you." Mike said truthfully. "It's always been a secret between us three."
"Matt, Santana and I run in similar family circles." Quinn explained smirking when she saw the truth of what she said dawn on them.
"So that guy Ares is really...Ares?" Tina asked.
"Yes, Santana and I are both the daughters of Ares and Matt is our cousin, the son of Hephaestus." Quinn waited to see their reactions.
"Cool." Mike nodded.
"My mom is Aphrodite and Santana's is Ixchel both love goddess." Quinn explained before continuing "I have this trick I can do, if I hold your hand I can see your soul mate."
"You took my hand the first day we met." Tina stated "Are you telling me you know who my soul mate is?"
"Yes and so do you." Quinn smirked "When soul mates touch they feel a shock, some people dismiss it because they're dating other people, some are afraid and others just don't believe it." Quinn sipped her water.
"So the shock I feel isn't static." Tina glanced at Mike.
"Nope, so let's cut the small talk, Brittany said you two would believe me if I told you the truth which is you two are soul mates just like Santana and Brittany." Quinn stated. "So let's get this dating starting, I want you two on a date by Friday."
"A timeline?" Tina asked.
"Just a little one." Quinn held her fingers slightly apart.
Mike chuckled asking "So did you guys really need to brush up on dancing or was it a Santana getting closer to Brittany thing?"
"Both, once I saw Brittany was a teacher I thought two birds, one stone and then when I shook Tina's hand I knew I needed to give you two a push." Quinn admitted chucking "So we really can go to your studio after this and have my lesson."
"What about you, do you know who your soul mate is?" Tina asked.
"A slightly immature and whorish god of sexuality." Quinn said dryly.
"Ooh." Mike shook his head, Quinn appeared to be rather straight laced.
"Yep, he tries to sleep with everyone." Quinn nodded "So he needs time to mature...who is that?" Quinn asked as an older Korean man walked over to them smiling.
"Pierce, he owns the place, why?" Mike asked curiously.
"I'll explain later." Quinn muttered but then smiled at the man as he stood by their table.
"That him?" Matt asked but received no answer from Quinn.
"Mike, Tina." He beamed greeting the duo before greeting Matt and Quinn "I'm Pierce, this is my shop."
"Quinn Fabray." Quinn held her hand out to him, Matt smirked. Unlike most people Pierce was easy to read and Quinn was pleased to see in his mind a beaming Whitney. "I'm a match maker."
"You are the Santana girl's sister." Pierce smiled "Brittany was so excited when she came here today, I made all her favorites."
"The ribs." Mike said to Matt "You gotta try the ribs."
"And the cookies, she asked me to add something to them, she said they were good" Pierce wasn't so sure about it. "Chili peppers with chocolate."
"So they picked up dinner?" Quinn asked suddenly concerned.
"Something wrong?" Tina asked.
"She just took her to this field her mom has." Mike explained "Brittany likes open places."
Her jaw clenched Quinn just nodded, she knew Brittany wouldn't hurt her sister but Santana wasn't fond of open places, and for very good reason. She was tense and the trio knew it, Matt however was the only one that knew why. Leaning close Matt whispered "She hasn't had a panic attack in a few centuries and you know she'll call if there's a problem." Quinn nodded glancing at her purse.
