Her head resting on Brittany's shoulder Santana sighed, they'd been slow dancing, swaying actually, and talking about movies, Santana didn't like scary movies which confused Brittany so they continued to talk about it. "But it's fake." Brittany reminded.

"Still creepy." Santana muttered.

"But you know it's fake." Brittany pointed out. "Even I know how they do it, Mike watched the behind the scenes stuff with me to so I could see how they do it."

"Don't care." Santana shuddered. "Needles are creepy, and hooks, nope." Santana shuddered.

"But you're a god." Brittany said confused "Needles and hooks can't hurt you and it was a suit, they zipped him up in it."

"Still nope." Santana cuddled closer earning a giggle from Brittany. "And no chick flicks."

"So no 'chick flicks' and no scary movies." Brittany said.

"They're just too predictable, boy meets girl, blah, blah, blah..." Santana rolled her eyes before mocking "oh no, massive misunderstanding and then he spends the rest of the movie trying to win her back. They suck so bad."

"Didn't we just have that happen?" Brittany asked

"No, and I don't wanna talk about it and it didn't take a whole lame movie to fix it." Santana muttered.

Brittany giggled again asking "Quinn makes you watch them doesn't she?"

"Her and Mercedes." Santana admitted.

"You watch movies with a car?"

"A person named after a car." Santana explained "We met her on our travels, not the war ones." Santana shook her head "Also a goddess, she has a place in New Orleans, and her chef...clearly also blessed by the gods. Her beignets." Santana moaned.

"Have you found any food you don't like?" Brittany chuckled.

"Liver and onions, it's gross." Santana shrugged before changing the subject back to movies. "So is it just musicals you like?"

"Any movie with good music really, I like to sing and dance along." Brittany admitted.

"You sing?" Santana tilted her head looking up at Brittany.

"With movies, the radio and dancing at clubs I mean who doesn't?" Brittany asked "T..that's normal right?" the stutter caused Santana to pull back so she could look up at Brittany.

"Why do you want to be normal?"

"People don't bully you if you're normal." Brittany said sadly, frowning Santana slipped her hand up to Brittany's cheek promising.

"Those guys were assholes, normal is a setting on the washer, nobody's really normal." Santana promised.

"You're normal." Brittany murmured.

"I'm a war god that has panic attacks," Santana shook her head "not normal."

"Quinn..."

"Quinn's a love god that's running from her soul mate." Santana chuckled shaking her head again "We are so not normal." Without thinking Santana lightly ran her hands up and down Brittany's back "I just want you to be yourself with me, I'd like to think I can be myself with you, even if myself is a stuttering fool."

"You can." Brittany promised.

"So if you want to sing then you should sing, I sing with Quinn." Santana admitted.

"Sing for me." Brittany smiled down at Santana.

"Now?" Santana glanced around.

"Mmm hmm." Brittany nodded "I know you'll sound pretty..." pouting Brittany added "please?" Santana shook her head still smiling, softly singing along to the song playing from the speaker Santana smiled watching the blonde's eyes light up, taking one of Brittany's hands in hers Santana rested her hand on Brittany's lower back, taking the lead and she began slow dancing with Brittany and not just swaying as they had been.

"You lied." Brittany accused softly still smiling as Santana continued to dance them around the pavilion. "You can so waltz." smiling Santana said nothing but sang along and danced until the end of the song. When Santana pushed herself up on her toes Brittany immediately leaned down wrapping around the Latina and melting into her for a true first kiss.

"I wonder how she's doing?" Quinn asked as she and Matt returned to the penthouse after their dance lessons.

"She'd text or call if it was going badly or do the necklace thing you gave her." Matt promised "How about I make us some popcorn and we watch movies?" Quinn nodded heading for her room to change, Matt grinned as she put her fingers to her lips before before tapping a picture of her mother as she walked down the hall.

The girls didn't do microwave popcorn, they had a small popcorn machine in the kitchen it was their go to for movie nights, or when Quinn forced Santana to watch movies with her. By the time Quinn returned, make up removed and pajamas on, really it was sweat pants and a tee shirt but they matched in color, Matt had everything set up and had changed into his own set of 'pajamas'.

He had a dresser in the guest room, technically his room, it was where he was supposed to sleep when he stayed over though most nights he fell asleep on the couch watching as he called it 'the big ass TV'. Being one of the Nereids Matt's wife was often at sea with her sisters and Poseidon but she was his soul mate and he knew what he was getting into when he married her. She appreciated Quinn and Santana looking out for him while she was away, often for months at a time. "I grabbed some nectar." Matt held up the bottle, he'd already poured them both a drink, they were Quinn's favorite nectar tumblers, they were, in reality, whiskey tumblers that Matt had given her for one of her birthdays, which one she could no longer recall.

Because Matt was the guest Quinn let him pick the movie, they were determined, well Quinn was, to stay up until Santana returned home, it was an easy task they just had to watch movies to keep from getting bored. "Thanks for hanging out tonight."

"Any time." Matt nodded. "Hey I was thinking, I can go on a recruiting mission and pull in that god of yours, maybe working for the company will help him mature."

"That would be up to you and Santana." Quinn stayed out of Santana's business unless asked by Santana herself. "What are you making me watch?"

"Her not so secret nerd stash." Matt shrugged, he'd grabbed it off of Santana's shelf, her movies were simple, action or 'fantasy', she enjoyed calling out historical inaccuracies as well as the inaccuracies in the mythological ones. She had a few of the 'nerd' movies, the ones based on books, both comics and novels as well as video games. Santana would, however, tell anyone who spotted the movies on the shelf that she bought those for Matt, he was really the only male cousin they hung out with.

Normally Brittany would stay and watch the sunset and watch the stars but with Santana and her fear of open fields Brittany thought it would be too much for one night, Santana had stayed with her in the field to see one of her favorite places she wasn't going to ask more. "We should get you home before Quinn worries more." Brittany said as she began to tidy up and throw things away, when she finished she put on her jacket before grabbing her wallet, phone and keys.

"What about your bags and speaker?"

"I'll get them later." Brittany shrugged. "Lord Tubbington will keep them safe, he always does."

"Oh, okay." Santana grabbed her jacket putting it on, taking the hand Brittany offered Santana let her pull her to her feet.

"Let's get ice cream."

Santana smiled, she enjoyed how Brittany's mind just bounced from one thing to the next, she was also happy the date wasn't over just because they were leaving the field. "What's your favorite ice cream?"

"Chocolate chip, you?" Brittany asked lacing their fingers together.

"Chocolate chocolate chip or coffee."

"They have coffee flavored ice cream?" Brittany asked confused.

"Specialty shop by my office." Santana nodded.

"Do your employees know who you are?"

"Some of them, I employ both mortals and immortals, some cousins like Matt who want to branch out from their family businesses." Santana explained "Matt's really good with his hands and has designed, well redesigned, many of our weapons and other items we use for work. Including some of our gym equipment and a fake ID detector, I'd say best one on the market but we don't share our tech until the mortal world has caught up with it."

"So you have a private gym and you have a gym like two blocks away from work?" Brittany asked as they reached the motorcycle.

"Private gym is where we train and hold self defense classes, Matt teaches some, Karofsky teaches the mortals. He's huge and hulking but he's nice, now anyways, he had a rough patch." Santana admitted.

"Rough patch?" Brittany asked handing Santana the helmet.

"He's like us and had a more violent coming out than you or me." Santana explained, although her coming out to her parents just happened Santana's friends knew, they'd known for years. Coming out to Karofsky had helped the young man come to terms with himself, "His father didn't care, his mother on the other hand hit him repeatedly and told him he was sick and needed to be cured, he ended up in the hospital after trying to take his own life."

"But..."

"Gods can kill other gods and apparently themselves if they try hard enough." Santana said softly "It was the reason I never came out to my parents." seeing Brittany was upset Santana explained "He's doing better, he understands that's her issue not his, he sees a therapist, he has a decent relationship with his father now." Santana promised "I was going to have him back your ginormous bouncer up until he was better trained."

"You're parents don't know?" Brittany asked stunned.

"They do now, I accidently told Ares at the restaurant and I told my mom before our date, she already knew." Pulling on the helmet Santana told Brittany. "They're both okay, and Mom wants to meet you."

"Oh."
