The Heartless, as expected, were still prowling the streets, but it was nothing the group couldn't handle on their own. And when they cared their way to the First District, they discovered that the people were still going about their business. So fortunately there didn't seem to be any Heartless attacks anywhere else. The group made their way into accessory shop where Cid sat at the counter reading a magazine. Perking up at the door opening, he smiled at the sight of Sora, Ruby, and everyone else walking in. "Well heya, kids. Been a while," he said when closing his book then turning to them. "What can I do ya for?"

"Aerith told us to give these to you. That you might know what to do with them?" Jaune said, presenting the gummi pieces. Leaning over to look at them, Cid's eyes widened and an even wider grin touched his face. "What have ya got there?" Cid said when leaning over to take a look then smiled in surprise. "Hey! Well if it ain't a gummi block." To which Donald said "Yup." in confirmation before Goofy inquired, "What's this one for?"

Cid's face contorted with disbelief as he shook his head at his customers' ignorance. "You're kiddn' me. You're flyin' a gummi ship and you don't know nothn' about navigation gummis? Bunch of pinheads. Interspace ain't no playground." He was starting to see why Leon was feeling doubtful about Sora, but now Donald and Goofy, the ones who had the ship in the first place didn't know the essentials about what they were flying.

"Hey! Who are you calling 'pinhead'?! It's not as if we were taught this stuff before our worlds were destroyed!" Weiss berated angrily as she stomped up to the counter. Sora was equally upset as he marched up to the counter alongside Weiss. "Weiss is right! There's a lot we don't know! So what?! We've got to use the gummi ship to go to other worlds. We don't have a choice."

Raising his hands in a placating fashion, Cid responded with a much more patient response of, "Whoa, easy. I didn't know. No hard feelings, alright?"

Ruby and Blake quickly stepped forward, silently placating the irate Weiss and Sora, as she took over speaking to Cid. The last thing they needed was to make a scene. "Is there anything you can do to help us with it, Cid?" Pyrrha asked cordially as she stepped forward.

The rugged shop owner turned to to the redhead, fiddling with the toothpick in his mouth as he responded. "Well I guess I could lend y'all a hand, then." That was just the response they were hoping to hear as Sora shared his jovial, "Thanks."

With that tomfoolery out of the way, Cid knelt down behind his counter and procured what looked to be a blueprint for gummi ships. He unfolded it on the counter and pointed to a picture of a gummi similar in shape and size to the one that his customers presented to him. "Basically, with navigation gummi pieces, you can go to new places. You want one for your ship, right? I'll install it for ya, but I got this thing I gotta deliver first."

While Sora was thrilled about the idea of seeing even more new worlds, that last detail caught his and everyone else's attention. "What do you need to deliver?" he asked curiously as Cid reached behind himself and procured the object in question.

"Just this book." The book in question was a rather old looking, featureless thing. The cover was blank white with a light brown outline which dominated the rest of it. And in the midst of the void of white where a title should have been, Sora noticed a lock on the right side of the front. "Too beat up to restore it to the way it was." Then, Cid got an idea. Looking at the kids, dog, and duck in front of him, he said with a faint smirk, "Anyway, you mind deliverin' it for me?" Before anyone could answer, Cid already tossed the book into Sora's hands.

"What?! What do we look like?! Couriers?!" Weiss indignantly asked, utterly incensed at this man's lack of manners. And she thought Ruby's uncle Qrow was a lout.

"Uh, what Weiss means is, absolutely Cid! Soo, where does it need to go?" Ruby quickly interjected, not wanting to cause another scene. Cid thankfully brushed off Weiss's indignant inquiry and said to Ruby, "It's in an old house past the Third District. Look for a big fire sign."

"Fire sign?" Jaune asked, looking at Sora, Ruby, Donald, and Goofy. A fire sign in the first district... "Y'know, I think I remember a sign like that when we were fightin' that big armored Heartless back when we first met Sora and Ruby, Donald." Goofy said, scratching head. Donald gave his beak a thoughtful stroke before his eyes widened from the lightbulb going off in his own. "You're right! Let's get going!"

Just as Ruby adventurously proclaimed that, she and everyone else were nearly thrown off their feet as the whole earth seemed to shake. Right as it did, a large bell ringing through the town. "Wh-What was that?" Sora said, nearly tumbling along with Jaune from the tremor.

Looking in the direction of the Third District, Cid's scruffy face shifted with curiosity. "Hmm? The bell at the gizmo shop is ringing," he said before turning to the others again. "Go check it out if you want but deliver that book for me first. When you're done, stop by the house by the Third District. The one up the steps near the Second. I'll be there."

Confused and curious in equal measure, the group said their goodbyes, left, and headed right back the way they came. "Wonder why the bell was ringing? It never did that when we were here before." Ruby said, looking to the bell tower rising over the buildings in the Third District.

As the group made their way through Traverse Town, Weiss found herself saying, "Well, this is far more welcoming and bearable than that Wonderland place. And especially that jungle." Suffice it to say, she approved of Traverse Town much more. "It feels almost like walking the streets at night back home." Blake mused, feeling rather nostalgic.

"Yeah...It kinda does..." Jaune agreed. A wave of sadness washed over him, thinking back to their world, and its fate. Leon's words seemed to stir a similar worry in all of their minds. The world disappears...If remnant was gone, then...could they never go home now?

"We'll find a way to set this right." Pyrrha encouraged Jaune, laying her hand on his shoulder with a smile. Hope had gotten them this far, and even brought them back together. So surely, with Sora's aid and all of them working together, they could find a way to fix things.

Ruby looked back at her friends, smiling fondly as she said, "Pyrrha's right. I know we'll find a way to fix things. As long as we stay together, everything will be alright."

While Sora did like seeing them keeping so hopeful together, he couldn't help but feel jealous of Ruby and her friends. Though it wasn't so much of jealousy as it was envy. He hoped more than anything that he would find Riku and Kairi as they had found Ruby's friends.

Before anyone else could say anything, tiny pitter patters suddenly sounded off from around a nearby street corner. Blake noticed noticed it first as she twitched, turning to the side with worry. At first she wondered if it was Heartless...but then she realized with what could only be considered horror...she KNEW the sound of those feet. "Oh no... it can't be..."

Sora noted her tone and summoned the Keyblade. "What? Is it more Heartless?" he asked, looking around...only to be confused when he saw nothing of the sort. This caused him, Donald, and Goofy to look at each other with confusion. What had Blake so worked up?

"Bark! Bark!"

In that instant, Ruby and her friends gasped at the familiar barking that suddenly rang out. From the side, Blake was suddenly tackled by a zooming black and white, fluffy blur. Ruby was wide eyed with glee when she saw the source of it sitting atop her incensed faunus friend.

"Bark!"

"AAAHHH! ZWEEEIII!" Ruby cheered adoringly at the black and white furred corgi that was now looking at her, wagging his stumpy tail atop Blake's prone body, happily barking and panting. Sora, Donald and Goofy seemed confused while all of Ruby's friends looked surprised and elated. Well, everyone except for Blake of course.

"Have you been here this whole time?!" Weiss yelled with surprise as she knelt down in front of Zwei. "Of all the unbelievable..." who looked right back up at her, staring into her eyes. "...ridiculous..." panting ever so happily. "...occurrences...YOU ARE THE BEST THING THAT'S HAPPENED, LITTLE CUTIE! Dawww I missed you so much!" If the surprise at the sudden appearance of the little dog wasn't surprising enough, Sora, Donald, and Goofy were utterly gobsmacked at Weiss's complete shift in demeanor. She'd gone from being an uptight ice queen...to a doting, adoring, cutesy talking dog lover.

Blake on the other hand...was far from enthusiastic to see Zwei again. From the glower plastered on her face, this was a reunion she definitely could have gone without. "Please get it off me right now." she said, her voice more dry than a salt lake as Zwei wiggled joyfully on top of her.

Thankfully an overjoyed Ruby unintentionally obliged her request as she scooped Zwei up in her arms. A relieved sigh emerged from Blake, who immediately stood up and moved to stand behind a nearby lamp post, glaring at the dog from behind it. "Oh Zwei, I'm so glad you're okay! I was so worried!" she cooed with joy before giggling as Zwei began licking her face. "Gaah! Hehehaah! Aah, stop it!" she said as her precious pup expressed just how much he missed her.

"Uhhh..." The mutual noise of confusion from Sora, Donald, and Goofy attracted Zwei's attention. The corgi's ears perked up and his head tilted with curiosity as he looked at the unfamiliar trio. "I didn't know you had a dog, Ruby." Sora commented when he finally remembered how to form words. Holding Zwei close, Ruby smiled to Sora, Donald, and Goofy. "Yeah. Zwei here is my little buddy. He's such a good boy," she said before nuzzling his face. "Yes you are. Yes you are."

Pyrrha giggled at the adorable behavior between them before turning to Sora. "I must say, I didn't expect him to turn up here." Jaune stepped up with a chuckle, clasping Sora on the shoulder as he said, "Well hey, I think it's a good sign that we've been finding more of our friends so frequently. At this rate, I'm sure we'll encounter one of yours, real soon Sora."

Thinking about it, Sora smiled and nodded in agreement. Pyrrha's spirit seemed unwavering, and Jaune despite his clumsiness, seemed to take after Pyrrha's optimism. So perhaps it wouldn't hurt to think a bit more positively about finding Riku and Kairi.

But for now, he was content to walk over to Zwei and pet his ears with a chuckle. "He is an adorable looking puppy." Even Donald couldn't help but give a hearty chuckle, saying, "Cute little fellah." All the while, Zwei seemed to revel in the challenge, indicating this Corgi was much smarter than one would think at first glance.

Goofy noticed Blake was still hiding behind the lamp post with an unhappy expression. "Uh... Blake? You allergic to dogs or something?"

Shaking her head, Blake stayed where she was but said nothing else. Sora was still a little confused as he wondered what Blake was getting so worked up about. From what time he spent with her, she seemed to most composed with any of her emotions with the exception of when she lost it with Clayton. "Let's...just go find that fire sign." she said, her tone more sour than a rotten apple.

"I found it!" Fortunately for her, Donald found what they were looking for, prompting her to be the first to go over to him just to escape from Zwei. Still confused as could be, Sora followed suit along with everyone else.

Sure enough, Donald stood before a strange wall marked with an artistic flame and what looked like the omega symbol. As Sora approached it, he tapped his chin thoughtfully. "Hmm...I wonder..." Summoning the Keyblade, Sora pointed it at the fire symbol, and yelled "Fire!"

At first Weiss seemed about to initiate a tirade at Sora for shooting flames at a wooden door. To everyone's surprise however, the symbol suddenly illuminated a fiery red color and the door slid up. "Huh. What do you know. It worked." Donald said, mildly impressed with Sora's impulsive idea.

Feeling quite proud of himself, Sora smirked at Donald and Weiss who merely glared back at him as he started strutting confidently inside. The two of them let out a mutual sigh as they followed him along with everyone else. Hopefully the whole Keyblade Master thing wasn't going to his head, like it seemed to when Sora demanded that he pilot.

The last thing they needed was a supposed savior with a big head.
