"Uncle Annie!" Soleil cried, waving a hand up wildly in the air in an attempt to catch the attention of the red-headed stoic as she quickly rushed towards him. "Uncle Annie, wait up! I've got to ask you something!"
Ananias sighed. "Uncle Annie, huh?" he muttered. "Are you already committed to that, or...?"
Soleil took a moment to catch her breath before letting out a jovial laugh. "Yep!" She gave him a amiable punch on the shoulder. "Sorry, but using that nickname was too cute to pass up!"
Ananias sighed, hanging his head as he shook, defeated. "Fine." He raised his head and crossed his arms. "So, what is it that you want to ask about?"
"Er, well," Soleil said, an embarrassed grin and blush appearing across her face as she sheepishly began to scratch the side of her cheek, "to be honest, it's actually kind of embarrassing."
Ananias nodded. "I figured as much. So what is it?"
Realizing that she could dance around the issue no longer, Soleil took a deep breath and pumped herself up a bit before slowly, quietly, and awkwardly asking, "How do girls show that they're... interested?"
"... What?"
"You know," Soleil said. She then took a moment to consider an appropriate clarification. "How do girls like me... show that they're available?"
"... Excuse me?"
"How do we... attract mates?"
Ananias let out an exasperated sigh as he slid his hand down his face, stopped it at his mouth, and shook his head. "Oh, gods."
"Oh, for the love of," Soleil threw her hands up in frustration, "I want guys to start asking me out on dates!"
"I know, I know," Ananias wearily reassured her, "but why did you have to act so weird about it?"
"I don't know! I guess it's just... embarrassing for me, okay? I mean, here I am, able to get a date with any girl I want, but when it comes to boys asking me out for one, I got nothing!"
"How ironic," Ananias muttered. "No offense, but why do you care all of a sudden? Aren't you the one who's always calling other girls 'super cute' and whatnot? Like, what's the big problem here?"
Soleil let out an exasperated sigh as she tenderly rubbed the side of her temples and explained, "Because, no matter how much I gush over how cute girls can be, I'm into guys. Like, in a romantic sense!"
"Oh... could've fooled me," Ananias deadpanned.
"I know, right?" Soleil admitted with a grin. "Either girls have got to stop being so cute or guys are going to have to step up their game!"
"Or maybe you could, I don't know, lower your standards for them a bit?" Ananias suggested. "I mean, no matter how fairly we should treat each other, the differences are undeniable, you know? You can't just go around hoping that you'll find that one guy who just so happens to meet your cuteness quota. You've actually got to look at all of the different types of boys out there and seriously figure out what type of guy you want to attract first. Then, we can continue on from there. How does that sound?"
Soleil held her chin as she took a moment to consider her honorary uncle's proposal. "Hmm. Yeah, I guess that makes sense." She then looked at him hopelessly. "But how many types of guys are there really?"
Ananias' eyes widened slightly in mild surprise. "That's... a little bit impossible to answer completely."
Soleil sighed. "I figured as much."
"Don't you at least have some idea? I mean, you were always the social type."
"Well, I guess, but they always seem so shy and weird whenever I hang out with them. I wonder why that is?"
Ananias sighed. "How would I know? Don't you have actual parents to sort this all out with?"
"Ha! Like I'm going to talk to them about boy trouble! It'd probably get so weird that I might die from embarrassment!"
"And so you instead chose to ask the guy whose dating life is also equally nonexistent?"
"No," Soleil said, giving Ananias an innocently encouraging and knowing smile, "I chose the guy who I can trust to help me and to keep this a secret if I ask him nicely enough." She then clapped her hands together and asked, "Pretty please, Uncle Annie, the greatest uncle in the world?"
Ananias stared at her for a moment before rolling his eyes, letting out another weary sigh, and saying, "Give me some time, I'll figure something out eventually... maybe."
Soleil laughed happily before enveloping Ananias in a great big hug. "Thanks, Uncle Annie! You're the best!"
Ananias reluctantly patted her back in response. "Yeah, at spoiling you kids," he muttered.
Author's Note #1: There will be no Niles x Ananias S-Support due to the fact that Niles can only do that with the Male Avatar and no one else, so it'd be breaking the format otherwise, sorry.
Author's Note #2: There will also be no special/specific supports for Kanna if they are the son/daughter of Laslow, Odin, or Selena. I figure that Kanna, no matter what the gender is, is pretty much the same, with only the slightest of differences, so it will simply be a generic support that could possibly work for all three of them.
Author's Note #3: Supports after Soleil are Peri, Felicia, Jakob, Lana, Kaze, Nyx, Charlotte, Niles, Effie, Female Corrin, Benny, Anna, Ophelia, Camilla, Gunther, Setsuna, Kanna, Selena, Beruka, and Xander. Got someone you want to support with Ananias? Request it. Remember, all Nohr first generation characters, Soliel, Ophelia, Anna, Kanna, Rinkah, Subaki, and Setsuna are allowed to support with him as well and it is a first come, first serve system.
