"Hello there, Ananias," Azura politely greeted. She looked up at the sky. "Lovely weather we're having today, don't you think?"

Ananias glanced up at the sky and awkwardly nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it's nice."

"Nice enough for a picnic, perhaps?" Azura asked.

Ananias simply shrugged. "I guess. If that's what you want."

Azura frowned. "Er... yes. After all of this fighting, a picnic would be quite nice, wouldn't it? Is there any food you would recommend for such an occasion?"

Ananias raised an eyebrow in surprise at this. "Why are you asking me?"

Azura tilted her head to the side. "Is there something wrong with asking a friend for his opinion?"

Ananias' eyes widened in surprise. "We're... friends?"

Azura let out a tiny gasp of surprise before apprehensively lowering her gaze. "Was I to assume that we were not?"

"Well, I mean," Ananias awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck, "no offense, but neither of us have ever really talked to one another before now."

Azura hung her head, embarrassed. "I see. Forgive me. I had simply assumed that since we were allies and since you were so accepting of others that..."

"Ah," Ananias nodded his head understandingly. "Well, sorry, but even for a guy like me, there's still a difference between friends and allies, so..."

Azura nodded. "Yes, of course, how silly of me." She then smiled and extended her hand out for him to shake. "Well, shall we rectify that then?"

Ananias stared at the hand being extended to him for a moment before letting out an uncomfortable grunt, folding his arms, and muttering, "I'm... I'm sorry, but... I don't think I can quite make that leap for you yet."

Azura's eyes widened in surprise. "I don't understand." She slowly and reluctantly retracted her hand. "Did I do something to offend you?"

Ananias shook his head. "No." He then thought about it for a second and added, "Well, maybe."

Azura frowned. "'Maybe'?"

Ananias groaned as he frantically scratched the back of his head. "It's... complicated."

Azura nodded understandingly. "Well, that's all the more reason to talk about it then. Perhaps we'd grow closer if I helped you."

"Yeah, but... we'd be talking about you though."

Azura smiled reassuringly. "People have said a great many things about me both behind my back and right in front of me. It's nothing that I can't handle."

Ananias let out another uncomfortable grunt. "I'm sorry to hear that," he said softly.

"Thank you, it means a lot, even if those things were not coming from you. Now, your issues with me?"

Ananias took a moment to sort his thoughts before heaving out a heavy sigh and reluctantly explaining, "I... I just can't figure you out, you know? And I guess that's just kind of enough to bother me. That's all."

Azura solemnly nodded. "I see. So you don't trust me."

Ananias hung his head. "Sorry."

The two of them were silent for a moment before Azura asked, "And may I ask, what exactly is keeping you from trusting me? Aren't we already allies on the battlefield?"

Ananias let out a frustrated groan. "I know! It's weird, but... I just can't help but feel that something feels off about you."

Azura cautiously frowned. "Off... how?"

"Like, you seem like someone who really likes your space and your alone time, but at the same time, when you're hanging out with someone, you're surprisingly warm and friendly."

"... Um," Azura blinked in confusion, "is that it? That my personality is just a little bit different then from what you're used to?"

"Well, that's a part of it!" Ananias honestly and defensively answered. "I mean, everyone I've ever known has had a pretty straightforward and consistent personality, and then you come alone with your two and, I don't know, it's weird! It's like you're two different people at once! Like, for lack of a better term, are you two-faced or something?"

Azura stared at him in disbelief for a moment before letting out a weary and relieved sigh. "Ananias, people can be warm and friendly while also being introverted and valuing their alone time."

"But you can seem so distant and cold at times! Like, I keep thinking, 'How can someone be so warm one moment and cold the next!'"

Azura giggled, relieved that Ananias' distrust for her was seemingly so shallow, and finding the entire situation amusing all the same. "I'm sorry if I've ever seemed exceedingly cold and unfriendly at times, but deep down, I really do care for every single one of our allies, and that includes you too. It's just that my past has made me a bit anxious around people at times, so I need my space and time to be alone every once in a while."

Ananias sighed. "Well, it's a little bit more than 'every once in a while', but I guess I can understand where you're coming from."

Azura smiled. "I had a feeling that you would. From what I can tell, you and I are cut from the same cloth. It's one of the reasons why I decided to finally approach you."

Ananias gave her a small and understanding smile. "Too lonely being alone, huh?"

Azura giggled. "Right."

Ananias let out a relenting sigh and placed his hands onto his sides before saying, "Well, I guess having some peace and quiet with someone else would be nice."

"Wouldn't it?" Azura encouraged. "So, what do you say to having a picnic then? Just the two of us? We can quietly get to know more about each other all by our lonesome."

Ananias gave her a mildly amused smirk. "It sounds kind of weird when you put it like that, but sure, why not? But I should warn you, I'm not much of a picnic guy."

"That's because you've probably only gone to big and crowded ones. Trust me, small and private ones are definitely the way to go!"

Ananias sighed. "Alright, I'll take your word for it. Oh, and before I forget, I'm sorry for being, well, shallow and petty. That wasn't exactly very fair to you."

Azura giggled. "Apology accepted. Besides, at times, I'm certainly no better."

"Well, now I know what we can talk about at the picnic."

"Oh, stop it!"

Author's Note #1: The next supports after Azura will be Flora, followed by Odin, Laslow, Rinkah, Arthur, Silas, Leo, Keaton, and Subaki. Kanna's supports will be like Ophelia's and Soleil's, with Kanna being Odin, Laslow, or Selena's kid and Ananias being an honorary uncle to them. The supports will also be written as if Kanna is a boy, but will be generic enough to fit both genders. Got someone else you want to support with Ananias that isn't on this list yet? Request it. Remember, all Nohr first generation characters, Soliel, Ophelia, Anna, Kanna, Rinkah, Subaki, and Setsuna are allowed to support with him as well and it is a first come, first serve system.

Author's Note #2: The Fire Emblem Warriors poll is now officially up on my profile! Vote for which five characters you want for Ananias to support with from that game the most and, in the end, ten characters will be selected for Ananias to support with, so make your voices heard. Happy voting!
