"Rinkah," Ananias politely, but meekly called.

Rinkah gave him an annoyed look and an equally annoyed huff. "Humph. What is it?"

"Um," Ananias sheepishly scratched the back of his neck, "about what you said... about my existence and how feeble my flame is -"

"If you're looking for an apology, then don't. I stand by what I said, and I'd say it all again in a heartbeat."

"A-And that's fine!" Ananias quickly reassured her. "Because in the end...," he hung his head, "you were right. I... I really don't have any flame or dream of my own."

"Humph. And you're telling me this, why?"

"I...," Ananias anxiously rubbed the side of his neck, "I was hoping that you could help me find my dream. You know, if it isn't too much trouble."

"It is," Rinkah unhesitatingly declared. "You're a grown man! Why don't you act like one and take some actual control over your life?!"

Ananias sighed. "Please," Ananias bitterly muttered. "As if I ever had any control over my life to begin with."

"Hmm?" Rinkah curiously tilted her head to the side. "What was that?"

Ananias' eyes widened in a mixture of panic and surprise. "O-Oh! Um, it was nothing! Honest!"

Rinkah gave him a frustrated frown before quickly and firmly grabbing his collar and growling, "Don't you dare lie to me!" She shoved Ananias roughly to the ground and stood over him, her hands placed firmly on her hips as she gave him the most intense stare down Ananias felt that he had ever received. "If you're actually pathetic enough to ask another person for help and have enough gall to actually go through with it, then the least you can do is be honest with them! Otherwise, how are they supposed to give you the help that you're looking for?"

Ananias groaned as he gently rubbed the lower part of his back before shooting Rinkah a confused and exasperated look. "Oh, so what? You're helping me now?"

Rinkah folded her arms and glared at him. "No, I'm not," she insisted. "I just can't stand seeing someone perform a basic and rudimentary task so poorly."

"Well, what's the point of being honest if it doesn't amount to anything anyway?" Ananias demanded.

"Sorry," Rinkah scoffed, "but I fail to see how that's MY problem." She turned her back towards him. "You want to sit around and whine and complain all day? Be my guest. But I refuse to be a part of it." It was then that Rinkah began to walk away from him, fully intending to leave the pathetic messenger where he sat.

Ananias hung his head and clenched his fists in a mixture of frustration and anger. "... You've got it so dang easy," Ananias muttered.

Rinkah stopped walking and glanced over her shoulder. "Hmm? What was that? You're going to have to speak up. I just can't quite hear you."

Ananias let out a frustrated growl and slammed one of his fists against the ground. "I said you have it so dang easy!" Rinkah's eyes widened in surprise. She didn't expect Ananias to have that in him. "You were born a chieftain's daughter! You're expected to be the next chieftain after your father!" He gritted his teeth. "And not only do you want to be that, but you're well on your way to doing that too! Anyone with eyes can see that!" Ananias angrily looked up at Rinkah. "Some of us just aren't so lucky, you know?!"

Rinkah stared long and hard at Ananias for a moment before giving him an approving smirk. "Well, what do you know?" She turned back to him and knelt down to meet Ananias' eye level. "Seems like there's a strong fire burning inside of you after all."

Ananias' eyes widened in surprise. "Huh?"

Rinkah let out a gruff chuckle. "I mean, sure, I'd rather your flame be more about your passion than about how passionately you believe just how bad you've got it, but," she gave Ananias a playful shove, "I guess I'll take what I can get." She then placed her hand gently, but firmly against Ananias' chest, and asked, "Do you feel that? That burning fire inside of you? That burning spirit that no amount of water could ever possibly put out? Remember this feeling. Because when you finally find that dream or goal that gives you this exact same feeling, then you'll know that you've found your flame. And it will be your job to never let it burn out. For any reason." She leaned in closer, their faces becoming dangerously close to one another. "Can you do that? Do you have it in you to find your flame and keep it alive?" She looked deep into Ananias' eyes, her eyes intensely daring him to meet her challenge.

Ananias hesitated for a moment, but the more he looked into Rinkah's passionate eyes, the more he could feel her energy and passion overwhelming him, to the point where the only choices left were to be smothered by them or to feed off of them. And he certainly wasn't pathetic enough to take it all lying down. He nodded his head. "Y-Yeah!"

Rinkah frowned disapprovingly at Ananias' meek response. "I can't hear you!"

"Yeah!" Ananias cried, feeling both embarrassed and proud of himself as he did. He hated to admit it, but it had been a long time since he had ever felt like this, and he definitely had Rinkah to thank for that. "I'll find it! I'll definitely find it!" He firmly placed his hand on top of the hand that Rinkah was using to press against his chest. "And I'll definitely keep it alive this time! No excuses!"

Rinkah couldn't help but give him a small smirk and chuckle of approval. "You'd better." She stood up and backed away from him. "Because I'm definitely not going to do all of this a second time!"

Author's Note #1: The next supports will be Arthur, followed by Silas, Leo, Keaton, and Subaki.

Author's Note #2: The Fire Emblem Warriors poll is up on my profile! Vote for which five characters you want for Ananias to support with from that game the most and, in the end, ten characters will be selected for Ananias to support with, so make your voices heard. Happy voting!

Author's Note #3: As Ananias has no real connection to the Three Houses cast and has no real reason to be there anyway, there will be no Three Houses supports for him. I know that an Anna is in Three Houses, but if we went by that logic, Ananias would have to support with every Fire Emblem character that has ever existed, which would be unrealistic to do, at least for one person. If any of you want to do that yourselves, however, then you have my blessing, it's just that I won't be the one doing it. Sorry.
