"Rinkah," Ananias evenly greeted.

Rinkah gave Ananias a confused frown before nodding her head and nonchalantly returning his strange greeting. "Ananias."

Ananias took a deep breath and puffed up his chest before asking, "Do you remember what you said to me, the last time we spoke? About how the next time I felt that burning fire inside of me, I would know that I had found my new dream?"

"Well, yeah, but...," Rinkah's eyes widened in surprise, "wait, does this mean that you've already found your new dream?!"

Ananias solemnly nodded. "Yeah. I'm pretty sure... no, I'm definitely sure that I've found it!"

Rinkah grinned and let out an amused chuckle. "Wow, that sure, huh? Well in that case, get out with it! What exactly is this new dream of yours that's got you all fired up all of a sudden?"

Ananias hesitated for a moment, visibly swallowing a nervous lump in his throat as he did, before answering, "It's you, Rinkah."

An awkward silence came between the two of them before Rinkah blushed furiously and cried, "W-Wait, what?!"

Ananias nodded. "Y-You heard me!" He too was blushing furiously, but he knew that there was no turning back from this. He quickly dropped onto one knee and exclaimed, "Marry me, Rinkah! Ever since the last time we spoke, you've made me feel things that I thought I'd never feel! And ever since then, I've only ever dreamed of one thing... being your husband! You're so strong, and beautiful, and brave... I don't think my life will ever be the same without you!"

Rinkah stepped back and held up her hands in an attempt to slow him down. "Whoa, whoa, whoa! J-Just hold on for a moment! When I told you to find something that would light your fire, I wasn't talking about finding someone to get married too!"

Ananias quickly stood up. "But isn't wanting to get married to someone a goal in and of itself?"

"N-No!" Rinkah insisted. "If anything, you're back where you started! You're still relying on someone else to light your fire for you!"

"I'm not relying on you to give me a purpose in life!" Ananias argued. "I'm just saying that my goal and dream is for you to always be a part of it!"

"A distinction without a difference!"

"There is too a difference!" Ananias quickly thought for a moment. "Here, let me prove it to you!" He then began to take some of his clothes and equipment off.

Rinkah blushed even harder at this. "Hey! Just what the heck do you think you're doing?! Why are you taking your clothes off?!"

"I'm not just taking my clothes off!" Ananias exclaimed. "I'm preparing myself... for battle!"

Rinkah's eyes widened in surprise. "Wha- for battle?!"

Ananias nodded. "Yeah. The Flame Tribe likes to wrestle, doesn't it? Well then, fine!" He pointed at Rinkah. "You and me, one-on-one! Whoever taps out first, loses. If I win, then you'll take my hand in marriage."

Rinkah scowled at the idea. "And if I win?"

"I won't let you win!" Ananias boldly declared. "I can't let you win! I WILL marry you, Rinkah! Even if I have to break my whole body just to do it!"

"Tch. Big talk coming from such a terrible fighter! Fine, I accept! But if I win, then you can forget all about this marriage-talk!"

"I won't let that happen!"

Rinkah confidently smirked. "Oh, but it will!"

"Give up yet?" Rinkah asked.

Ananias shook his head as he attempted to struggle out of Rinkah's submission hold. "N-No. Not... even... close."

Rinkah let out an exasperated sigh. "Come on. It's obvious that you're starting to black out. Why keep going when you've already been defeated?"

"B-Because," Ananias gasped, "if I lose... then I won't be able... to show you... just how much... you mean... to me." He tried in vain to push Rinkah off of him. "I... I still... have a chance."

Rinkah frowned. "What a fool," she thought. "Going through so much trouble just to marry me." She then thought it over for a moment, as she was able to completely ignore Ananias' attempts to escape from her hold. "But... I have to admit, I would've never imagined him ever having the guts to do a stunt like this. And even when he's beaten, he can still find it in him to keep fighting." Rinkah chuckled to herself. "I suppose there's some truth behind his fire after all." She then released the hold that she had on him and patiently gave him all of the time he needed to catch his breath.

"W-Why did... you stop?" Ananias heaved.

Rinkah smiled. "Who knows? Maybe you're starting to grow on me. And I'll have to admit, even by Flame Tribe standards, you're not too shabby in the looks department either. Sure, you could stand to bulk up a bit, but you more than make up for it in stubbornness."

"Huh?"

Rinkah sighed. "I'm saying that I'll marry you, alright? And not just because I pity you or whatever, but because I want to."

Ananias could hardly believe what he was hearing. "Do... do you really mean that?"

Rinkah sternly frowned. "Did I stutter?"

Ananias shook his head. "N-No! Of course not!" He then smiled at her. "Don't worry, Rinkah! I'll make sure you won't regret this! I promise!"

Rinkah chuckled. "I'll hold you to that. But if you take our marriage as seriously as you took your proposal, then I'm sure I've got nothing to worry about."

Ending: Ananias and Rinkah

Ananias continued with his humble life as a messenger almost immediately after the war had ended, his home being the only guaranteed place anyone looking for him could find him. Rinkah's fiery personality ensured her husband's life was not boring and they loved one another well.

Author's Note #1: And there ends Ananias' supports with Rinkah. I hope you enjoyed them. The next supports will be Arthur, followed by Silas, Leo, Keaton, and Subaki.

Author's Note #2: The Fire Emblem Warriors poll is up on my profile! Vote for which five characters you want for Ananias to support with from that game the most and, in the end, ten characters will be selected for Ananias to support with, so make your voices heard. Happy voting!

Author's Note #3: As Ananias has no real connection to the Three Houses cast and has no real reason to be there anyway, there will be no Three Houses supports for him. I know that an Anna is in Three Houses, but if we went by that logic, Ananias would have to support with every Fire Emblem character that has ever existed, which would be unrealistic to do, at least for one person. If any of you want to do that yourselves, however, then you have my blessing, it's just that I won't be the one doing it. Sorry.
