A/N: To that one reader who has witnessed two versions of this story get abandoned. Here's an update. Seems like I'm approaching the chapter number that the last writer disappeared at.
For those curious Bill Luz is based on a combination of Stewie Griffin and Peppermint Butler. She's a little shit and dabbles in dark and demon magic.
Anyways for this chapter Bill Luz summons a demon. That's the chapter
Bill Luz was a bit older now. Unfortunately, she wasn't quite old enough to live on her own yet.
She would usually curse out her human parenrs, but after a recent experience with an item called a la chanla owned by the vile woman Camila, who had overheard her cursing colorfully, Bill Luz had decided to rein in her cursing - both vocally and mentally. No, it was definitely not because she was afraid of that cursed item! She was just being cautious especially after Camila had proceeded to confiscate every single one of her books thus slowing down her progress right when she was finally about to summon her first demon and become a proper demonmancer.
Plus having to go through the useless man's fussing after she got "punished" was annoying. The idiot was acting like she got her molecules disassembled for a year.
Seriously compared to her previous life Camila's action while irritating could barely be called a punishment (even if the reason she punished her was stupid) if anything couldn't even classify as one.
Hell she remembered back when her previous parents from before she burned down her dimension stuck her in the chamber of solitude for a year after she failed to perform a proper Matter Manipulation spell during the annual inspection.
Or the time she got put into the black hole zone after she failed to perform the right introduction rites in front of the elders.
And when she was placed into the hole of silence and depravity for snoring out loud near her parents which she admits was the tamest though part of her wonders if that was when she began to lose her sanity but she quickly pushes down the thought. There was no point dwelling in the past
She doesn't know if it was because she was growing soft or because of the brain chemistry of her human body but she has to admit that her human parents have began to grow on her...only a little.
Sure she still curses them(in her head) but she doesn't think she actually hates them as much as they annoy her. Hence she has stopped making attempts on their lives...for now.
Manny was an idiot but something about him was endearing. Was the fool intentionally being an idiot his way of staying in Camila's good graces? She had made her theories that Manny was perhaps simply eye Candy to the vile woman who only uses him as a way to relieve stress which would make sense why she hasn't divorced him yet.
As for Camila, she still thinks she is a vile woman, but at least she doesn't completely deprive her of knowledge; her punishment was only for a day and she was allowed to continue her work. She hasn't quite gotten a handle on the woman, hence why she only does her work in secret, unlike Manny, who was easier to fool since he doesn't just barges into her dwelling without giving her any privacy.
All in all...She thinks they're better than her old ones who may rot in the deepest pit of the dead world.
...
She was getting off topic.
Back to more important matters. She had decided to become a demonomancer. Simply put, besides creating magic items or stealing them, becoming a demonomancer was her best course of action to gain power. Unlike other forms of magic, demonomancy only required her to obtain power by summoning demons, who would provide it to her in one way or another. This was easy enough due to the sheer number of demons she could call upon for support, especially considering how many favors they owed her. Even if they refused to honor those favors, she could always invoke their true names to force them to obey. This led her to her current predicament.
She was currently in her dwelling. She had prepared the summoning circle complete with a barrier to prevent the demon from escaping and in the center was the vessel the demon will use to manifest in the mortal world. Now all that's left was to summon her current target.
Paimon of the Hell Dimension. She figured she could start with something small.
"Paimon master of Science, Water and Wind, come forth and take hold of this vessel. I command you" She spoke in a demonic tongue as the room grow heavy with darkness which was held back by the ritual candle surrounding the summoning circle.
"You shall overtake the vessel as I command. By my command, you shall obey my will."
Then the doll is surrounded by a red aura as it suddenly began to levitate within the circle. Bill Luz opened her eyes and smirked. The ritual was a success.
"Hello, what jazz is this?" The doll spoke in a voice that Bill recognized as the Demon Lord Paimon seemingly unaware of his current situation until he lets out a gasp "Bill Cipher! That is the last straw!"
Ok she was not expecting that "So you know who I really am?"
"Of course I do! You may look like a petulant child but your soul signature gives you away! I supposed the rumors are true then that you died. Were you truly killed by mere humans?" The demon lord asked in a mocking tone which ticked off Bill Luz.
"I will not answer that. Let's get straight to business. You will do as I say. You owe me a favor and thus is compelled to obey"
The doll growled but relented "What do you want?"
"Simple. I want a grimoire. A spellbook that will let me do spells like the ones you hand out to your children when they reach the proper age before you give them away to bitchy fiances" Bill Luz said smugly. It was going really well
"If you were some pathetic human I would have simply possessed and killed you but I am a demon of my words" The doll chanted a demonic language before a book materialized in Bill Luz's hands.
"Is that all?" Paimon asked impatient
"Yeah yeah whatever you can go" Bill Luz said as the doll was no longer glowing and dropped to the ground indicating that Paimon has left.
Bill Luz couldn't help but grin as she looked at her new spellbook.
It was a navy blue cover with gold reflective pages separated by a dark burgundy ribbon, and has golden borders with a large red gem on the center of its spine.
The front cover is emblazoned with a triangle surrounding a singular eye, along with four upside down crosses.
She did a quick flip through the pages to confirm and much to his satisfaction it was filled to the brim with various spells that will help her in her journey.
"Now to summon another demon" Bill Luz said as she put away the book and began to chant another ritual to summon a different demon but before she could do so the door to her room suddenly opened
"Hey Mija I was wondering if you would like some ice-" Manny began to say but the words died in his mouth at the sight before him. His daughter performing some voodoo. "Um...sweetie. What's going on here?"
Bill Luz silently cursed "Uh...I'm playing...house?"
