I stared out of the window in the cockpit of the Liberator, watching the swirling blue energy, signifying Hyperspace, as is spun. It was nice being here, I have to admit. Rex and Kanan were getting into their arguments more and more frequently lately, so when a mission made itself known, Ezra and I jumped to volunteer. Literally. He was teaching me how to play Dejarik, and then Hera walked in talking about a mission, and we both jumped up at the same time, practically begging to go on said mission.

Thankfully, the pilot knew exactly why we wanted to go, and volunteered us to Commander Sato, insisting we could be useful.

Speaking of, Commander Sato was sitting in the Captain's chair in the cockpit, whilst Ezra and I were sitting at stations attached to the walls on the left side of said chair. He sat to my left. The rest of the stations were filled with uniformed Rebel Officers.

Our mission was simple. A short while ago, a Rebel patrol ship went missing in the area we were headed towards. Now, since a ship doesn't just vanish into thin air, we were working on the assumption that there was something dangerous there, so we couldn't just send a handful of people like when we went to retrieve the medical supplies or find Rex. So, with that in mind, Sato chose to lead the mission himself on his own flagship. Ezra and I were just along for the ride.

"We'll be arriving in the Del Zennis system any moment." One of the pilots spoke up.

"Well, we're coming up on the last known coordinates of our missing patrol, but I've already checked the star charts. There's nothing there." Ezra reported as he turned his chair to face Sato, who gave him a look.

"That doesn't mean we won't find any answers." I told the kid, who seemed sheepish. "Ship's don't just go missing Ezra. There has to be at least something out here." I corrected him.

"When Captain Syndulla volunteered the two of you for this mission, she insisted you could be helpful." Sato commented, sounding tired. "Let us hope that is true." he said, almost ominously. God, that reminds me of my first boss. He really didn't like me.

As Ezra turned his chair back to get back to work, he suddenly stiffened and looked out the window. I had an inkling as to why. I could feel something in the Force, a foreboding feeling of something bad approaching. As Ezra stood up and took a few steps towards the front of the ship, I looked at him.

"You feel that?" I asked him.

"Yeah…" He answered, barely above a whisper. "Something's about to happen." As he said that, the ship began to shake.

"Commander! We've lost Hyperdrive control!" One of the pilots reported urgently.

"Emergency positions!" Sato ordered as Ezra sat back in his chair, the shaking getting worse.

"What's happening? Are we under attack!?" Ezra asked, confused.

"This doesn't feel like an attack!" I said, gripping my chair as the ship shook. As I finished my sentence, a bright, rainbow-like light shone in front of the ship, and for a second, all I saw were the colours of the rainbow.

"We're being pulled out of hyperspace!" One of the pilots yelled. Wait, is that even possible?!

Sure enough, with one final jolt, the ship's shaking came to a stop, and we drifted for a few seconds as we blinked the light from our eyes. Outside of the windows, there was the endless void of space, not the swirling mass of Hyperspace. It was true; we'd been pulled from Hyperspace.

"Secure all stations, and get me status reports." Sato ordered immediately. He did not like this, and neither did I.

"I think a status report is redundant right now." I mumbled under my breath as a shadow fell over the room. Outside, we could see the bottom of a Star Destroyer hovering over us.

"Instruments are frozen!" One of the workers reported.

"It's a Star Destroyer!" Ezra yelled in shock.

"No, that is something else." Sato dismissed, glaring at the massive ship above us. "Send a distress signal, now!" he barked, pressing a button on the console in front of his chair. "Phoenix Home to Ghost, we've been pulled out of Hyperspace! The Empire-" He was cut off when all power on the Blockade Runner switched off, leaving us in near total darkness.

"Well, fan-fucking-tastic." I said as the Star Destroyer hovered closer to the Liberator.

With the Liberator stuck in a tractor beam, and all the power out, there was little we could do to avoid being magnetised to the strange Star Destroyer and boarded. When the Stormtroopers poured in, their weapons aimed right at us, Commander Sato ordered our surrender. There was nothing we could do. If we fought, there would be more coming, and even if we got the ship away from the Star Destroyer and powered up again, we wouldn't be able to escape with whatever weapon they used to pull us from Hyperspace still in play.

So, whilst the crew was taken to the prison cells by a whole lot of Stormtrooper grunts, Ezra, Sato, and myself were escorted to the bridge by a Stormtrooper Commander and a couple of guards, with our hands cuffed behind us.

"Don't worry Commander, I'll get us out of this. I've been captured many times." Ezra told the Rebel Commander, trying to be assuring.

"Really?" I asked with a sigh. I would have facepalmed, but my hands were cuffed behind my back, so that would be a little difficult.

"You're not putting my mind at ease." Sato said, a hint of annoyance in his tone.

"Well, I've escaped a lot too." Ezra said quickly.

"Obviously." Sato rolled his eyes.

"Ezra, remember all the times I've told you to shut up?" I asked the young Jedi as we approached a door. The door opened to reveal a small room, which I think is actually the communications room of the bridge, given the round holo-terminal in the centre. In front of the terminal, facing away from us, was a man, wearing a black uniform, different from the usual grey.. His hair was blond, and there was a black cap on his head.

"Rebels, out here searching for your missing patrol, I assume?" The man asked, turning to face us.

"We are members of the Corporate Alliance, and you have taken possession of my ships illegally. I demand you release us!" Sato said hardly, really selling the 'indignant falsely accused' thing.

"You are in a position to demand nothing, Commander Sato." The man said, surprising the Commander. "Oh yes, I am familiar with your activities in this sector. I suspected if we captured even one Rebel ship, others would race to the rescue." He smirked at Sato. "But I dared not hope we would capture someone as significant as you." he admitted. "And what would the names of you young men be?" He asked Ezra and I.

"Jabba the Hutt." Ezra said sarcastically.

"Han Solo." I followed suit.

"Indeed." The man drawled. Just who is this guy? "Although, you are a tad small for a Hutt, and you are a fair bit younger than what the Empire's file on the small-time Smuggler says." He told us, as if expecting us to lie. Which he probably was. "But I know someone else who guys by the name Jabba; Ezra Bridger." He looked at the boy before turning to face me. "And given the unique weapons that were confiscated upon your capture, I can only assume that you are the young man that Lord Vader has issued a capture order for, Lance Mikaelson." he turned his gaze to me, a satisfied smirk on his face. "I imagine Agent Kallus and Lord Vader will be pleased to hear that the two of you have joined us." He said, his arms behind his back.

"You going to tell us your name?" I asked dryly.

"You may call me Admiral Titus." He responded, just as dry before turning away. "Secure them." He told the troopers, who complied, leading the three of us out of the room.

"Cocky Agents…" Titus scoffed to himself as he ended his holo-report to Agent Kallus. To think, he was actually ordered to keep the boy, Ezra Bridger, in a secure cell, under triple guard. He was just a boy! Why would Agent Kallus be so concerned? With a frustrated sigh, he relayed the orders to the Troopers before inputting a holo-frequency, one significantly more… intimidating than a mere Agent. It was for this reason he decided to kneel before the holographic image appeared.

"Admiral, why do you disturb me?" Darth Vader asked coldly as he looked down upon the Officer that had reached out to him.

"My Lord, I thought you'd like to know that the young man you've ordered captured is currently in custody aboard our new Gravity Well Star Destroyer." Titus reported, the sound of the Sith Lord's voice chilling him to the bone. He dared not look up at the Sith. The news, at least, seemed to assuage some of the sinister air surrounding Vader.

A moment passed before Vader spoke again.

"Keep him under constant guard, and lock him in a secure cell." Vader ordered the Admiral. "He is not to be underestimated." He said warningly. "I want him sent to Mustafar immediately."

"Agent Kallus is on his way to take custody of young Ezra Bridger. Shall I hand Mikaelson over to him for delivery?" Titus suggested. They didn't have any shuttles, only a handful of fighters and the ship's escape pods. They couldn't use the ship to deliver the young man if it was still in the testing stage.

"That is satisfactory." Vader said darkly before ending the call. Titus released a breath he didn't know he'd been holding. He was right, Vader truly was far more intimidating to talk to than Agent Kallus. Regardless of his own thoughts, if the dark and terrifying Sith Lord wanted Mikaelson under heavy guard, that's what he would get.

Kallus didn't even come close.

The walk to our cell was tedious. Star Destroyers were a classification of ships that 9 out of 10 times were between 1 and 2 kilometres long. So, when you start with the long elevator ride that was not only small and cramped, but didn't have any crappy jingle, and then add a 20 minute march with Stormtroopers aiming their guns at you, that creates a fair bit of tedium. One of the Stormtroopers even tensed when I let out a deep sigh.

Paranoid much? Not that they had no reason to be, I might add.

"Move along Rebels." One of the troopers behind us growled as we walked through a corridor of brig cells.

"Well, this is a fine mess we've gotten ourselves into, wouldn't you agree Ezra?" I asked the boy free-spiritedly.

"Oh, definitely." Ezra said, smirking at me. "And listen guys, when my friend and I get out of this, we won't hurt any of you." He told the troopers good-naturedly.

"Yeah, that's great, kid. I feel real safe." The lead trooper responded sarcastically, probably rolling his eyes under that helmet as he opened one of the cells.

"You shouldn't." Ezra responded with a smirk before closing his eyes in concentration. After a few seconds, his lightsaber, which was hanging off of the lead trooper's belt, activated, startling the trooper, who scrambled to try and turn it off.

The troopers behind us immediately started firing, but we were close enough to avoid fire by knowing exactly where they were aiming. Ezra jumped up, brought his arms under his feet, allowing him somersault over the lead trooper, and grabbed his lightsaber whilst I delivered a roundhouse kick to one of the troopers behind us, knocking him out. That's when Ezra deflected a blaster bolt from the second trooper into his head. The protection from his helmet didn't allow for the bolt to kill him, but he was knocked out.

The lead trooper, having fallen to the ground when Ezra grabbed his lightsaber, scrambled for his blaster, aiming it at us as Ezra used his saber to cut my bindings. He turned his gaze to the trooper and swiped with his saber, cutting the man's weapon in two. All the trooper could do was hold his hand out in a shielding motion as Ezra stared down at him. I, in the meantime, was retrieving my weapons from the downed troopers.

"See? You're fine." Ezra said, rolling his eyes at the last conscious trooper.

In a matter of moments, we had the troopers in the cell they'd intended on locking us in. Ezra tossed in the cuffs that they'd put on our wrists and locked the door, clapping the proverbial dust off of his hands with a satisfied smirk. Right as we were about to discuss our next move, two more Stormtroopers turned a corner and started running straight for us. Acting on instinct, Ezra and I both shot at the troopers with our respective blasters, each nailing one of them in the chest.

The moment the two troopers went down, a very familiar astromech rolled around the same corner bleeping at us questioningly.

"Chopper?" Ezra and I asked in confusion as we saw the little droid roll up to the downed troopers, laughing. He had been painted black and red to look like an Imperial Astromech.

"Oh no…" Ezra immediately dashed towards the downed troopers and kneeled next to them. "Oh, oh no." he muttered as pulled one of the trooper's helmets off, revealing Kanan's face.

He dropped the helmet he wore with a gasp and pulled the other helmet off, revealing Rex. the two men groaned as they slowly regained consciousness. The young Jedi pulled his Master up, whilst I bent down to lift up the Clone. After a couple pats on their faces and some light shakes, they were coherent enough to keep themselves up, much to our relief. I guess this time it's a good thing I keep my blaster on stun rather than kill.

"Kanan?" Ezra asked hopefully as his Master looked at him through blurry eyes.

"Ugh… What just happened?" Kanan asked groggily as he looked at his pupil.

"Uh, uh, did you see them? We were so outnumbered! There was a fire fight, a big fire fight actually! You guys fought great!" He said with false enthusiasm, not wanting to let them know we'd shot them. All I could do was pinch the bridge of my nose.

"Thanks… All I saw was you." Kanan replied, blinking the blurriness out of his eyes. In response, Chopper let out a deep warble and displayed a holographic gif of Ezra and I shooting the two of them. Seriously, it was just like a gif. It was actually amusing to watch it looping about as Ezra gave his Master a sheepish grin.

"You shot us! I can't believe you guys shot us!" Kanan exclaimed, glaring at us.

"You were dressed in Stormtrooper armour, and we had no idea if you got our distress call or not." I returned, crossing my arms as I stood up. "If you're expecting an apology, you're going to be disappointed." I told him, getting a glare.

"You shot us!" Rex laughed as he stood up, taking the whole thing rather well.

"Our weapons were set to stun!" Ezra defended himself.

"Well you should have set it to kill." Rex told him.

"What?!" Kanan, Ezra, and myself all exclaimed in unison.

"Well, just in case it wasn't us." Rex noted.

"Ugh, this armour doesn't protect you from anything!" Kanan complained.

"Told you." Rex said under his breath.

"Please, not now guys." I said with a groan, massaging my temples.

"Lance is right. We've got to find Sato, and sabotage this ship." Ezra jumped in. "They have this gravity weapon, and it…" He trailed off, seeing the looks on Kanan and Ezra's faces. "You know all this." He said, more like a statement than a question.

"So, what's your plan?" Rex asked, getting the conversation moving again.

"We should split up. Lance and I will take Chopper, and he can take us to the reactor that powers this thing." Ezra started.

"Meanwhile, the two of you find Sato and the rest of Liberator's crew, and free them." I figured, getting a nod from Ezra.

"Whoa, whoa, we are not splitting up." Kanan denied swiftly. "Let's get Sato, and get out of here." he all but ordered.

"The kid's right, we need to sabotage this weapon." Rex argued.

"Do you have any idea how many Stormtroopers are headed here right now?!"

"It doesn't matter!"

"We can't afford to separate!"

"We have to protect the fleet!"

"Oh for fuck's sakes, will you two please shut up!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, catching both of their attention. "The biggest reason why Ezra and I took this mission was to get away from you two!" I snarled, pointing at them. "Now shut the fuck up and go get Sato." I pushed past them. "Ezra, Chopper, let's move. We're sabotaging this ship." I said to the two, who jumped at the mention of their names.

"Uh, right. What he said." Ezra told the other two, following after me. Chopper gave a few bleeps and rolled after us, leaving the Jedi and Clone dumbfounded. I think that might be the first time I've actually lost my temper since coming to this galaxy.

"So, uh, you OK?" Ezra asked awkwardly as we stood in an elevator, waiting to arrive at our floor.

"I just lost my cool there for a moment Ezra." I said with a sigh.

"I hear that." He admitted. "I was just one second away from yelling myself."

"Sorry for putting you in the spot like that." I told him. "Probably shouldn't have told them why you took this mission."

"We both took this mission for the same reason, remember?" He reminded me. "Besides, Hera's been telling me for a while now that I should just talk to them. Maybe that would have been better than taking a mission just to get away." He sighed tiredly as the elevator slowed.

"We can discuss this later." I told him as the elevator stopped. He nodded as the door closed.

Slowly, and carefully as I could manage, I peeked my head out and looked in all three directions that the corridors lengthened. To the left, there were two Stormtroopers on guard duty, facing away from the elevator. No others. I slipped my head back in and turned to Ezra. I silently signalled that there were two troopers, to which he responded with a nod. He crouched the side of Chopper and latched onto the droid, his small frame hidden from view from the left. With one more check, I signalled them to move.

Chopper's movement caught the attention of the troopers, but they dismissed any suspicions upon seeing only the droid, not the teenager clutching the droid's side for dear life. Once they passed, Ezra let go of the droid and peaked over the corner, giving me an affirmative nod. With a deep breath, I dove out of the elevator and rolled past the troopers behind their backs, silently as I could. I made a little sound, but the troopers dismissed the sound when they didn't see me. Thank you MMA and Force powers. You two are a fine match.

Chopper continued to lead us towards the reactor room where we would then sabotage the ship, probably causing it to explode. How we were going to do that, I had no idea. I was still learning how to work the tech in this galaxy. Anyway, we eventually found the reactor room, and crouched at the sides of the doors so the officers inside wouldn't see us. The room was massive and mostly empty. There were just a few consoles here and they're accessible by bridges and panels. Didn't a room or two inside the Death Star look like this in A New Hope? When Kenobi was turning off the tractor beam or something? I don't remember. It's been years since I watched any of the movies.

And why weren't there any railings on those bridges?! You'd think that an Empire that commands such loyalty from its military would have much safer working conditions. How often do people fall in these kinds of places?!

"OK, these working conditions are ridiculous." I commented under my breath with a shake of my head. "They must need to replace their scientists every day without any railings."

"That must be the reactor for the weapon." Ezra said, pointing at a large console in the very centre of the room. Chopper beeped in respond. "What? You have a plan?" Ezra asked, getting more beeps and whomps in response. "We're the bait." Ezra said, deadpanned.

"Excuse me?" I asked, glaring at the droid, getting more bleeps from him.

"OK, we'll draw them away." Ezra sighed. Most of the time they ignore droids anyway." He added under his breath.

"I don't like this plan." I said with a frown as Ezra and I got ready. Chopper bleeped at me with an attitude. "No, I don't have a better plan, but that doesn't mean I have to like yours." I shot back at him.

"Wait, you understood him?" Ezra asked, confused.

"Another educated guess, Ezra." I said with a sigh. "Droids are surprisingly easy to read." I noted as I grabbed my saber. Ezra shook off his confusion and did the same, ready for action.

Together, we slowly snuck along the bridge, my anxiety levels shooting up when I failed to avoid looking down. Seriously, this place really needs some railings. We snuck past the first console in our path, and all the way to the reactor core. Ezra signalled that he'd go left, and I should go right. With a nod, I waited until the scientist almost right next to me looked away, and snuck behind him. I tapped his left shoulder and scootched the right as he looked to the left.

"You just fell for the oldest stealth trick in the book, you know that right?" I asked him, catching his attention. "Hey, how's it going?" I asked with a naughty grin as I activated my sabre.

"Intruder!" He yelled, aiming his tiny gun in my direction, several of the officers doing the same.

"Hey, over here!" Ezra called out, taking some of the attention off of me as he ignited his sabre. "Come and get me!" He yelled as he jumped to one of the lower bridges. With that, the enemy opened fire.

Blocking blaster fire was a lot harder than that annoying droid thing Ahsoka had, especially when you add in multiple enemies as a factor. I managed to block the majority of their attacks, but a few that I'd mistakenly judged as 'misses' grazed me in one or two places. As Ezra and I did our thing, Chopper rolled up to the reactor core and plugged himself in. Within a few seconds, the lights turned off, only to turn back on a second later, only dulled and having a golden brown hue.

Then, I found myself floating off of the ground, unable to keep my balance steady.

"What in the fuck!?" I exclaimed as I, with some difficulty, turned to face where Chopper was.

"They've shut off the gravity!" One of the officers alerted. No shit!

"This wasn't part of the plan!" Ezra yelled at the droid, who only gave a few bleeps in response before continuing whatever sabotage he was doing.

"Chopper, when we get back to the Fleet, I'm gonna dismantle you!" I yelled at the annoying astromech, who ignored me. I immediately blocked a blast from one of the scientists, and since there was no gravity, there was nothing to prevent the force of the blast from sending me backwards. I let out a grunt of pain as my back hit the wall.

Newton's first law is a real bitch right now.

Shaking off the pain, I pushed off of the wall with my legs and blocked another blast, which sent me in a different direction, but I stopped before I hit the wall thankfully.

"Don't you dare!" Ezra howled at Chopper, a threatening, but worried tone in his voice, catching my attention. "Don't you do it! Not yet!" He screamed. Seconds later, the gravity turned back on, and I found myself falling. It was only quick thinking and second-long preparation that allowed me to land on one of the bridges, though I did almost tip over. I had one hand and one foot on the bridge to pull myself up before I fell. Ezra was in a similar situation, but we both got up easily enough.

"Fucking droid!" I hissed as I kicked Chopper in the side. He bleeped at me indignantly, angry at the new dent in his side. "You could have killed us with that stunt." I snarled at him, getting only shaking arms in response. "If your sabotage doesn't work, I'm going to take you apart piece by piece, you hear me?" I growled warningly before marching off to the door we came in through. I only got some quiet, 'under the breath' type beeps in response, probably cursing or insulting me.

As more weapons fire resounded in my ears, I looked at the direction the blasts came in with a frustrated glare. A door, one floor beneath us. I was so not in the mood for that anymore. I ignited my sabre and deflected their blasts away as best I could, with Ezra doing the same on his end. When an opening prevented itself, I grabbed my blaster and rained fire down on them with a vengeance. They went down easily enough, but not because of any skill on my part. My aim still needed work, but when you fire as rapidly as I did, you're bound to hit something.

When the troopers were down, I dashed towards the door we came in through, Ezra and Chopper hit on my tail.

As we snuck through the halls of the Star Destroyer, quickly but quietly, with Chopper as our guide, Ezra and I saw a squadron of troopers run through the corridor behind us in a T intersection. They didn't seem to notice us, thankfully. We had seen a number of Imperials on our way, but nothing we couldn't handle.

"Kanan, we're on our way back, where are you?" Ezra asked into his comm.

"We're headed for Sato's ship." Kanan replied.

"Roger that." Ezra responded, putting the comm away.

"Seems like they were successful." I commented as we both ignited our sabres, continuing on our way.

"Now all we need to do is get off of this thing." Ezra noted.

"And not a moment too soon. I really want to sleep right now." I groaned as more troopers appeared around the corners in our path.

With a hard stance, I stepped closer and closer to the troopers, deflecting their fire away as I did so. I was able to send a blast or two back at them and take one of two out, the meagre protection of the Stormtrooper armour hopefully providing some protection, otherwise I just killed two people with little hesitation. Best not to think about it. My deflection was still shit though. I was still struggling to aim where I sent the blasts. Thankfully, Ezra was right beside me, doing a better job. He probably provided enough protection for both of us, but he was letting me participate nonetheless. Good kid, he is.

With only two troopers left, Ezra and I simply sheathed our sabres and pushed out our arms, sending the troopers flying. We shared a smirk as we continued on our way. After one or two more encounters with Stormtrooper squads, we eventually heard the sound of heavy blaster fire, and shot off towards the source of the sound. We turned a corner and found Sato and his men, firing at their pursuers, with Kanan blocking the enemy's fire.

"We sabotaged the reactor core." Ezra said as he and I joined the elder Jedi in blocking their attacks.

"Can we go now?" I asked rhetorically as I blocked another attack.

"Get Sato and his crew to the Blockade Runner." Kanan ordered us, stepping towards the enemy,

"Where are you going?!" Ezra asked urgently. I could relate, we needed to move.

"Ugh, I gotta get my friend." Kanan told us with an annoyed sigh as ran off.

"Friend?" Ezra and I asked in unison.

"We can't get through! Where is Kanan going?" Sato asked at the apparent absurdity.

"Don't worry, we got this." Ezra said, as he and I decided to trust Kanan and get back to the Liberator.

"You've got this?!" Sato asked, bewildered as Ezra and I ran past the Rebel soldiers, sabers at the ready.

"You shoot, I'll defend." I told him, getting a nod as he deactivated his saber, allowing for use of the blaster setting. I stood in front of him, my lightsaber up and ready to block weapons fire as Ezra crouched behind me, blaster at the ready. One by one, he shot the troopers down while I blocked their blaster fire. Since I only needed to block, which I pretty much had down, and not deflect their shot back at them, Ezra could fire without much worry of being hit. Once he'd taken down the majority of the troopers, I spared a look back at Sato and the crew, seeing their shocked faces.

"Time to go!" I called out to them, jabbing my lightsaber forward as Ezra and I moved forward.

"Come on! They've got this!" Sato told his crew, the words sounding weird with his voice, but the crew complied nonetheless. Ezra and I moved forward, taking out the troopers further along the corridor.

It took a short while, but eventually we were able to fight our way through the halls and get to the airlock where the Blockade Runner was docked. One at a time, we immediately filed through, Ezra, Sato, Chopper and I making sure to go last to ensure everybody got on safely, which they did, thankfully. Once the rest of the crew was on board and on their way to their stations, the four of us followed and headed straight for the bridge.

"We're free of the docking clamps, but Imperial reinforcements are trying to cut their way onto the ship." One of the pilots reported as they powered up the ship.

"We need to go, now." I stressed, still holding my sabre, though it was off.

"Where are the others?" Sato asked as Ezra arrived on the bridge, the last of us to board the ship.

"Kanan said they have another way off the ship." he told us.

"Shuttle? Escape pod?" I asked.

"Probably the escape pods." Sato answered pensively. "Pilot, disengage." He ordered. The pilot complied, and within seconds, the Blockade Runner detached from the Star Destroyer. There may not be any air for sound waves to travel through in space, but attaching and detaching metal still produces sound, which would reverberate through a ship, like it just did. A good sign.

With that, we took off. One of the officers picked up an escape pod, as Sato had predicted, with two life signs aboard. A quick comm check confirmed it was Kanan and Rex. The pilot hovered the ship over the escape pod, and managed to secure it within a few seconds. A minute or two later, Kanan and Rex came running onto the bridge, though Rex looked a little worse for wear.

"You sabotaged that thing, right?" Kanan asked, a little out of breath.

"Of course we did, right Chopper?" Ezra asked the astromech, who bleeped back in affirmation.

"This is going to go well, I can feel it." I mumbled sarcastically as I sat in my chair from before. "And why don't these ships have any fucking seatbelts?" I asked under my breath in annoyance.

"Make the jump!" Sato ordered quickly. Almost immediately, the stars extended in the viewscreen, as is typical of a Hyperspace jump. However, before we could see the twirling mass of energy, a familiar, bright rainbow coloured light shone in our faces, and we looked away as we were pulled out of hyperspace again. Some of us had to grab onto something to not fall over. Seat belts people! Seat belts! "We're caught again!" Sato yelled.

"I thought you said you sabotaged that thing, Chopper!" Ezra snapped at the droid, who'd magnetised himself down.

"You had one job, you useless piece of scrap!" I growled at the metal nuisance, who only bleeped in response.

"What do you mean 'wait for it?' Wait for what?" Ezra demanded.

We got our answer seconds later when we looked outside the window, seeing not only us being pulled in by the gravity weapon, but also the cruisers that were escorting the Star Destroyer as well.

"They can't control it." I realised.

"Chopper rigged the weapon against them. It's pulling everything in!" Ezra followed suit.

"Including us!" Kanan noted worriedly.

"The cruisers will hit it before we do. We just need to be ready to jump." I said, hopefully assuaging his concern. I doubt it worked. I was still worried.

"You heard him Pilot!" Sato told the pilot, who nodded. As one of the cruisers crashed into the Star Destroyer, scraping plates of steel off of the massive ship and igniting several small explosions, it crashed into the bridge and exploded. The second cruiser crashed into the bottom of the Destroyer as well, and the Blockade Runner jolted.

"Commander, we're free!" One of the pilots reported.

"Make the jump!" Sato ordered quickly. And with that, we were off. The stars extended, and the energy swirling before us. But not before we all saw the Star Destroyer explode in a massive blaze of blue and orange. The Rebels cheered at their victory. I was still a little iffy when it came to the destruction of the ships with so many people inside, but I knew there was little other choice. We couldn't leave that ship. Kinda makes not hurting the troopers that were escorting Ezra and I to our would-be cell earlier redundant, doesn't it?

"Oh, so now you're the big hero?" Ezra asked the droid sarcastically as Chopper bleeped proudly. "It was a team effort." he responded to Chopper's indigent whap.

"Gentleman." Sato said as he turned his ship around to face us. "My crew and I owe you our gratitude. All four of you." He said with a small, grateful bow of his head.

"Thanks Commander." Ezra said to the man before turning to Rex and Kanan. "You know, when you two aren't fight, you fight really well together. Jedi and Clones, now I get it." He rolled his eyes with a smile and he left the bridge. I gave a light chuckle and leaned back in my chair, allowing myself to relax for the first time today. It was short lived, however, as I felt an electric shot travel through my body from my thigh. I faced the source; Chopper. He whomped at me expectantly, shaking his hand at me.

"Alright, alright, I'm sorry Chopper." I said with a sigh. "You did a good job, happy?" I asked. If he had a chest, it would probably be puffed out right now as he rolled along after Ezra.

As I allowed myself to relax again, I caught a quick glimpse of Kanan and Rex. They exchanged a few words before Rex made to leave. He stopped, however, when Kanan called out for him. The Clone Captain looked at the Jedi as he saluted the Clone, surprising us both. Not a quick Han Solo style salute, but a proper soldier's salute. Rex smiled at Kanan and returned the salute. I knew it was a bit too much to ask that they become best friends after just this experience, but maybe they'd be able to cease their infernal arguments now.

Vader stood in his palace on Coruscant, staring at the city lights illuminating the night sky of the planet through a window, one that took up the whole wall behind the throne he never used. He awaited the report from Agent Kallus concerning the young man who'd bested him and stolen his weapon, lance Mikaelson. Vader cared little for the lightsaber. He could acquire another easily enough. He'd already done so. He wanted the one who now held it. He could not overthrow his Master alone, and it was unlikely he'd find another with as much potential as Mikaelson for a long while.

"Agent Kallus." Vader spoke as he sensed the presence of the Imperial Agent. Behind him, a holographic form of Agent Kallus stood, his torso bowed forward in respect, rather than the cowardly prostration of Admiral Titus.

"Lord Vader." Kallus replied. "I regret to inform you that Admiral Titus did not acknowledge either of our warnings, allowing both the boy, Ezra Bridger, and Mikaelson to escape with Commander Sato and his crew." He reported, standing up straight. Vader was angered by the news, but he rarely, if ever, allowed anyone around him to see what he was feeling.

A moment of silence passed, a silence Agent Kallus dared not break before his Lord spoke.

"Demote Titus to Commander and station him where he will not be a hindrance anymore, I care little where." Vader ordered. Any other day, he'd have killed someone who failed him. However, Titus wasn't in reach at that very moment, and he didn't have time to go hunting for him. Plus, he was hardly worth Vader's wrath.

"As you say, my Lord." Kallus bowed once again before his holographic form disappeared.

A minor setback.

With nary a word coming from Vader, a small Astromech droid approached him, displaying a holographic screen of what was recovered from the destroyed Gravity Well Star Destroyer. It showed young Mikaelson blocking blaster fire with his lightsaber. His movements were crude, and far from what any Jedi Youngling could pull off at half the young man's age, but it showed his growth. He'd had that blade for less than two months, and had probably been learning to use it for even less time, but he could already do that.

His powers were growing at a staggering rate.

OK, I just want to make it known that I don't think Lance's abilities are growing too fast. Remember, he's stronger in the Force than even Anakin, and he attended MMA for several years before coming to the Star Wars universe. In my eyes, his progress makes perfect sense.
