Lightning grabbed the bags out from the trunk of the cab then tipped the driver. He and Sally walked up to the house. "Is your Dad is mad about us not staying as long?" Askes Lightning. Sally rang the doorbell before answering. "Not really. I think he's just glad that we made the time to come over." Lightning smiled, and then the door opened. It wasn't Carson though, it was a woman. Sally and Lightning stared at her. She had long black hair that was styled wavy, green eyes, tan skin with freckles around her eyes, and nose. A slender body, tiny figure and was wearing a long green dress made of velvet. She had to be just a little younger than Sally's Father. "Hello.." Sally greeted. The woman leaned on the door frame then called, "Carson! Your daughter and her... Friend is here!" Her voice was deep and raspy. It almost sounded like she had smoked her voice away. Carson walked up with red cheeks and nervously began, "Hey! Sally.. I th-thought you would be here tomorrow. You're here today.." he smiled foolishly. Sally stared at her Father and the woman. "Who is... She?" Sally asked softly. Carson glanced at the woman then introduced them all. "Sally, This is Camila. Camila, this is my daughter Sally and her... Boyfriend?" He questioned Lightning. Lightning's eyes widened. "Yep. Boyfriend. That's me." He said nervously. Sally became suspicious. That was a weird moment between her Dad and Lightning. Carson nodded once then continued. "Boyfriend. Lightning McQueen. Um. Camila is my girlfriend." Sally and Lightning stared at the woman in shock. Lightning was first to say, "You're dating Carson?" Sally immediately elbowed Lightning's side. "Owh! I mean... You're dating Carson... Ow..." Camila giggled then played with her hair in between her fingers as she spoke. "Yes, I am dating Carson. He's such a romantic, you know." She then wrapped her hands around Carson's arm. Lightning muttered, "No. I don't." Carson smiled as he gazed at his girlfriend. Sally was in shock but managed to say something nice. "Wow. Good for you, Dad." Carson snickered, replying, "She makes me happy. Well, come on in you two, hope it wasn't too bad a trip." The couples walked inside the home. Lightning carrying the bags. Carson closed the door behind them as Sally answered, "No, not at all." Camila grabbed Lightning's left bicep and complimented, "You work out a lot, don't you?" Running her finger up Lightning's underarm. It tickled a little bit. Lightning was surprised by her and pulled away, answering, "Yeah, uh. I do. I kind of have to. Part of the job." Carson then walked up and asked, "You two want the guest house?" "House?" Sally asked in confusion. Carson laughed! "I forgot you didn't know yet. I had the pool house renovated into a guest house. The two of you can be the first to try it out!" He exclaimed. Lightning and Sally glanced at each other. Both were thinking it. Carson was acting... Stranger than usual.

Lightning and Sally took the ring bags to the guest house. It was nice. A lot of windows, and it was pretty spacious and open. It had a small kitchen that used to be a pool bar and a tiny living room the size of a small dining room. "Is your Dad acting strange?" Lightning asked. Sally nodded, agreeing, "Yeah... I think maybe it's Camila.." "Maybe it's a good thing. Maybe this is your Dad, I don't know? Happy?" Sally snickered, hearing that. Lightning placed a hand on Sally's shoulder and smiled at her. Sally let out a sigh, then "I'm going to go talk to my Dad. See what exactly he's thinking about doing for Christmas, but then you and I need to go shopping for Norman." "You got it." Lightning said with a wink. Sally rolled her eyes then left. Leaving Lightning in the guest home alone. So he took it upon himself to unpack their things and make it easier on them in the mornings. Placing the clothes into the dresser that was against the wall near the bed in the small bedroom. It wasn't huge, but it was nice for an add on.

"So, you race cars?" Said the raspy voice of a woman. Lightning turned around to see Camila in the doorway. "Uh, yea. Yeah, I've been doing it for five years professionally now." "And... How many championships have you won?" Camila asked as she walked up to the blonde man. Lightning shrugged. "Four now, but if I win this Grand Prix. I'll be more famous than Francesco Bernoulli." He bragged. Camila smirked and stood face to face with Lightning. "Must meet a lot of interesting people on your travels." "Sure, I.." Camila brushed her hand across Lightning's cheek, which froze him. He was a little confused and stunned. Was she? Hitting om him?.. Camila then placed her hand on the back of Lightning's neck. This made Lightning intensely uncomfortable. "Um. I.." "Sshhhh..." Camila hushed him. Pressing the finger of her free hand to his lips. She then brushed his bottom lip with her thumb. "I'll come back once the girl is busy.." she whispered seductively, then turned and walked away. Lightning snapped out of whatever that was and said, "No, no. Don't do that. That's not, not... Needed." But Camila was gone by the time he finished his sentence. He had to tell Sally.

Sally walked in and sat down on a box on the bed. "My Dad is giving us these. Just a bunch of old al..blums?.." she noticed Lightning's face and crossed her arms. "What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost." She joked. Lightning hesitantly explained. "I think Camila wants to sleep with me." "Wh-what?" Sally asked in shock. Lightning nodded and repeated. "I think Camila wants to sleep with me." Sally rolled her eyes and scolded. "Lightning. Sheesh. Not every woman you meet wants to fuck you." "What!? That's-No! I just-she"-"I swear Lightning... It's getting old. Not every woman is that desperate. Well, except Josephine." "Wait, Josie is not a desperate woman. She never tried to sleep with.. me.." that was a lie, and he knew it. Sally rolled her eyes and grabbed out an album from the box as he continued, "I know it sounds crazy, but have you seen how she came at me when we came in!? She wants me." Sally glared and asked, "Are you serious, Lightning?" "Yes!" "Then, you have to tell my Dad." "What?..." "Well, if what you're saying is true, then you have to tell him." Sally explained. Lightning sighed. There was no way Carson would believe him. Sally set the book down, then walked up to Lightning and placed her arms around his neck, and gently asked, "Could it be that maybe. Just maybe you took something the wrong way?"

Lightning shook his head, answering, "Nuh-uh, no way." "Well... We have to tell my Dad then. I mean, you set her straight, right?" Lightning nodded, but he wasn't sure he did. "Good. So you can handle this? It seems to me like you may have read her wrong. I just doubt she is trying to sleep with you. The woman just met you!" "I know!" Lightning shouted in disbelief! Sally sighed with a frown. "Why can't we ever just have a nice time anymore.." "I.." Lightning began then paused. Sally looked so upset and disappointed. "... I.. Gotcha.." Lightning joked and lied, faking a smile. Sally stared at him with a confused expression. "What?" "Gotcha! Camila didn't do anything. I'm just messing with you." "Lightning McQueen!" Sally scolded and slapped his shoulder. "Don't joke like that with me again!" "Okay, okay! I'm sorry." He apologized. Sally sighed and went back to the box. "Okay, well. Glad that's over with. Seriously, don't do that to me again." She warned. Lightning nodded and agreed, but he was pretty worried now. He would need to set things straight with Camila firmly and quietly. For now, he was letting it go and just hoped that maybe nothing more would happen anyway...

Carson knocked on the guest house door. Sally opened it with a smile. "Dinner is ready." Her Father announced. "Great, we'll be right there." Replied Sally. Lightning walked up and asked his girlfriend. "You sure dinner is a good idea?" Sally raised a brow. "Why wouldn't it be?" "Well, um, I-it's just that we just got here, and you know how I get after a long drive. I'm never really that hungry. Maybe I should just rest here." "I mean if that's what you want. But you should come and at least sit with me." Lightning thought about that a moment. If he didn't go, he'd be left alone. "Yeah, I guess you're right. I could always try to eat something..." he whimpered. Sally and Lightning headed into the house to see a beautifully set table. Full cloth with a lace train, silver, such a beautiful white aesthetic look. "Wow.." Sally huffed. "This looks way too nice for just a simple dinner Dad." Carson walked in and placed a ham on the table. "Well, this was more of Camila's doing. Besides, it's Christmas, and we are all family!" The man exclaimed. Sally and Lightning glanced at each other. Once again, both of them were thinking that Carson was acting strange.

"Well, don't be shy now!" Exclaimed Carson. "Come and sit." Everyone sat at the table. Carson, on one side with Camila, who sat across from Lightning, who naturally sat next to Sally. Camila positioned her hands in a praying position and bowed her head, and began, "Father, we thank you for this lovely meal. For the forgiveness you bring us. You forgive our every sin and teach us to forgive those who sin around us..." Lightning suddenly felt a foot rubbing against his inner ankle. He sighed. Camila. This wasn't funny, but jumping up and suddenly accusing her of sexual harassment was not going to work here. "Amen." Camila finished. Carson rubbed his girlfriend's shoulder and complimented her prayer. "Such a nice prayer, darling. Let's eat!" Now, Sally thought that was odd. But of course, with any relationship, you would have to accept things about the other person. Camila was religious. Everyone dished their plates at the table and began to eat and chat over the meal. Camila sipped her water then smiled at Lightning. "Do you like it?" Lightning swallowed his food then nodded, answering, "Yeah, it's good." "Thank you. It's all-natural. All-natural." She said. Lightning stared a moment. He thought he got what she meant, but at the same time, maybe not?

Sally had to come out and ask her Father, "How did the two of you meet?" Carson and Camila glanced at each other than holding hands on the table before Carson answered. "It's sort of a funny story." Camila shrugged and continued, "I was suing my husband for the boat." "A boat?" Questioned Lightning. Camila nodded and explained. "It was my Grandfather's, but he gave it to my husband when we were young. Seeing as it came from my family, I do not understand why he should get it in the divorce. So I went to the firm and hired a lawyer." "Jean." Carson announced. "And Jean was an excellent lawyer, but was having trouble reaching terms with Mr. Lawson." "Lawson?" Asked Lightning. Camila nodded and said, "Hank. Hank Lawson. He was my husband." Carson snickered "Yeah, well. So Jean came to me for help. Of course, I said yes! I love suing people. It's fun." Lightning glared at Carson. Of course Carson's pass time would be suing people. Camila then continued, "Jean asked me if I would be comfortable bringing a retired Lawyer on board, and I said why not. Anything if it will help me win my Grandfather's boat back. So I met Carson at dinner. We just hit it off, you could say." Carson chuckled a little. Lightning rolled his eyes and growled. "Oh, I bet..." Sally gave him a look for that. He shrugged.

Carson gazed into Camila's eyes as he spoke, "Well, after that night, I asked Camila on a date, and she turned out to be such a sweet woman. So full of life. Everything I was missing." "We went to New York together." Lightning's eyes widened. "I didn't know you two have been together for so long?" Sally added in with, "Wow, yeah... I.." Carson butted in with "NO, not then. We just went recently together. We're not getting any younger, you know?" He asked. Sally nodded then asked, "Does Samantha or Nathan know yet?" Camila answered with, "Nathan does. And he was such a delightful young man." She said as she placed her hand on her heart. Lightning crudely asked, "Did you show him the same courtesy you have me?" Sally scolded, "Lightning!" Carson seemed confused. Camila cocked her head to one side as she stared at the racer. "I show all people I meet nothing but kindness, Lightning. I am a very nurturing, loving woman." "I'll bet.." He growled and sipped his drink. Carson's brows lowered. He pushed himself away from the table, then stood up and firmly said. "Lightning, a word in my office." Then walked out of the dining room. LIghtning's eyes widened.

Shit. Sally placed a hand on Lightning's thigh and said, "You okay?.." "Maybe. If I don't come back out alive, I always loved you." He joked. Sally snickered with a glare. Lightning got up and walked to Carson's office. The man was sitting on his desk. "Shut the door, Lightning." He ordered. Lightning nervously did so then began to apologize. "I'm sorry about that there. Camila is nice, I'm sure, but.." He needed to tell him about what she did. Carson stood up and crossed his arms. Approaching Lightning with a mean look on his face, then asked, "Why haven't you proposed to my daughter yet?" Lightning stared a moment. "I see no ring on her hand." Carson pointed out. Lightning was a bit relieved to know that this was what this was about.

"Well?" Carson asked. "What is it? Is she suddenly not marriage material? You get cold feet?" He asked. Lightning shook his head and explained. "No, of course not! I still plan to. I've tried twice." "And what happened those times?" "Well the first time... We sort of got interrupted, and then the second time she was bragging and going on about this other man and"-"Wait, another man? Who?" "Some race car driver." "And he's not you?" Carson questioned. Lightning shook his head. Carson held his chin in his fist and muttered. "Interesting..." "I thought about asking her during the trip.." Lightning admitted. Carson smiled. "What a great idea! That would be very romantic for her." "Really?" Lightning asked. Carson nodded with a smile, then pulled Lightning close and set a plan. "You should do it on your trip! Have a nice dinner in an exotic location, wait for sunset, make it public and ask her just when she least expects it!" Lightning awkwardly stared at Carson. Don't think the two of them have ever gotten along this well before. Oddly enough, Lightning didn't like it. Lightning pushed away gently. "Okay, I'll ask her during the trip." "Where are you going again?" Carson asked. "Japan, Italy, England." "Do it in Italy or England. Not Japan." "Okay.." "I'm sorry. I just want my daughter to be happy." "Yeah. Me too." Lightning replied.

Carson smiled. "or you could do it here!" He exclaimed. Lightning turned pale."What? NO! I don't even have the ring on me!" He admitted. Carson then said something Lightning wasn't expecting. "I'm proud of you." Lightning just stared. Did Carson just say that? "I am proud of you, Lightning. You've grown up a lot. I can't wait to call you my son in law, brag about you at the parties, have your children as my grandchildren. I'm sure they'll be some cute little scamps." He joked, then walked over to his desk and pulled out a bottle. Pouring it into a coffee mug and handing it to Lightning. Lightning was still silently confused and shocked. Carson was an entirely different person. Carson poured himself some in another mug, then toasted, "A drink. To new beginnings and family." "Right, to... Family.." Lightning repeated, then drank the nastiest tasting alcohol he ever had. Thankfully he managed to take it down, but yuck! Carson sighed, satisfied. "We should return to the women." He exclaimed as he took the mug from Lightning and placed it on his desk with the other.

The men returned to see Camila and Sally laughing, talking. Getting along quite well. Carson sat next to his, Lightning, next to Sally. Sally smiled and said, "Lightning, you have to hear this snowboarding story of Camila's." Camila snickered and asked, "Why don't we all try it sometime together." Carson raised a brow and asked, "What? Snowboarding?" Camila nodded. Sally butted in with, "That would be fun!" Lightning then said, "I don't do snow.." Sally slapped his shoulder and said. "You would try it." He just shrugged. Camila smiled at him and asked, "I could teach you how to snowboard. I am told that would make an excellent teacher." Lightning stared at her. Just imagining that was a no go. "Thanks, but. No thanks." Lightning replied. Camila shrugged it off. Carson wrapped an arm around his girl then bragged. "Camila's won many beauty competitions." "Really?" Asked Sally. Camila nodded then asked Carson for his phone. He happily handed it to her. She went onto her social account and pulled up a photo, then handed the phone to Sally. Sally glanced at it, along with Lightning. It was a much younger Camila in a bright red bikini on the beach with a big ribbon on her left breasts as the first place champion.

Camila sure kept her figure though through her older years. Sally's brows raised. "Wow. This is"-"Miss California Beach. I know. It was a huge thing for me back then." Sally handed the phone back, and Camila handed it to Carson before asking Lightning, "Have you ever met a model before?" Lightning snickered and ate as he answered. "I have met many models." "Oh. How impressive." Camila replied as she sipped her glass. Sally's brows lowered. That was weird, she thought. Lightning snickered. "I am a celebrity." He reminded. Carson then spoke, "I never thought about that really, but you have grown rather popular around here. Especially with this World Grand Prix thing coming up." "Oh yeah?" "Yes. You have more fans than I ever realized, Lightning. How do you like it, Sally?" Carson asked his daughter. Sally nodded, answering, "It's okay." Camila giggled and replied, "Just okay? Well... I know I for one, love the spotlight. I would be intimidated to be with someone so famous." "I'm not. It's fun, really." Sally admitted. "can't go anywhere without getting pointed at and shouted at and stopped." She joked, but it wasn't entirely a joke. And the way she said it. Lightning wondered if she hated it...

After dinner, Sally helped Camila clean up the dishes and made a short conversation in getting to know Camila, in the sense, she was dating her Father. "So, you've been married before?" Camila stared at Sally, who apologized. Camila smiled. "No worries, Sally. I know you are just trying to poke and get to know me. Yes, I have been married twice." She answered almost proudly. "My Father has only been married the one time." Sally admitted. Camila nodded. "I know. Suzan. He showed me pictures of her. She was lovely. You and Samantha look just like her, and I see it in Nathan too." That honestly made Sally smile. "Cancer, right?.. I'm so sorry about that.." Camila apologized. Sally sighed and explained. "It wasn't cancer that killed her. She was getting better, but the drugs made her weak and... Never mind. Um... What happened to your uh.." "Ex husbands? Well, Edward, the first one. He cheated. Once a cheater, always a cheater. So I left him. Cheated on me with the maid." She announced with a laugh. "Then Hank decided he would rather be single suddenly. As far as I know, he wasn't with anyone, but I'm not sure, you know?" "Um, sure." "Lightning has never cheated on you, has he?" Camila asked. Sally's brows lowered. "Um, no. Lightning is very faithful.." But her tone changed near the end because of Josie. Sally wondered how far he'd go if he had another chance with that one. Camila noticed and asked, "Do you know that for sure?.." "Of course!" Sally exclaimed. She continued to help. Asking about schools, colleges, careers, work. She was just trying to get to know this woman that her Father was seeing...

After this, Sally walked up to Lightning, and announced "I'm going to take a shower in my old bathroom. My Dad said the water pressure is a little messed up in the guest house." "Oh. You're leaving me alone?" He asked. Sally giggled, answering, "You can't very well shower with me." Lightning only smiled and said. "I disagree. I think I very well could." Giving her a seductive gaze. Sally rolled her eyes and patted his chest. "I won't be all that long." "Alright. I'll be in the guest house waiting for you." "Okay." Sally replied, then kissed his lips gently before walking away. Lightning sighed then began to make his way to the exit of the home and head to the guest house. he was stopped near the front door by Camila, who quietly whispered his name, "Lightning.." Lightning turned around to see her, and he quickly went on the defense. "I'm tired and headed to bed." He growled. But before he could turn back around, Camila shoved his back against the door and pushed her body, her breasts against him. Lightning made sure to look away, but she grabbed his face and made him gazed down her dress. "Like I said... All-natural Dear."

Lightning shook his head free and growled. "I'm with Sally..." Camila took a deep sniff of his neck, which made Lightning nervous. She then took his hand and placed it on her ass cheek. Lightning's eyes widened as he could feel the firm yet soft squish of her ass. "Don't be shy. I like a man that gets handsy.." She whispered. Lightning swallowed nervously then pushed back. He could feel his pants getting tighter. NOT ON PURPOSE! Sadly, Camila noticed and pulled away, just enough to glance down and ask, "Not very good at hiding that thing, are you?.. Does it get any bigger, Dear?" "I HAVE TO GO!" Lightning shouted as he pulled his hand away from her body and grabbed the door handle. Carson would never believe him and Sally. This would just ruin Christmas! And what if Carson forbids Lightning to marry Sally after this!? So much overthinking was going through Lightning's mind right now as he opened the door and managed to escape to the guest house alone. How was he supposed to tell Carson!? Tell Sally!? Lightning locked the guest house door and panted a bit. Glancing down at his sort of turned on region. "Why?" He growled at it. "Why the fuck, no. No, I'm not into that. That is disgusting." He told himself, and he was disgusted with himself here. He couldn't control what his body just did, and he was embarrassed about it too. All he had to do was get through this Christmas thing tomorrow, then one more day until they'd be going back home...
