Lightning returned to the trailer and looked over at Mater to ask, "Did she leave?" Mater shook his head. Lightning then knocked on the door and Sally called back, "It's open." Lightning glanced at Mater once more before going inside and closing the door beghind him. "What is going on with you lately?" Lightning asked. Sally looked t him with tears in her eyes. Lightning sighed, "Are you pregnant?" "No!" "Than why is this such a big problem for you? Jesse doesn't want her pregnancy, Sal. You can't act the way you ahve been to her. This is her choice. I'm sorry, but I will never agree with you on this." "So you would rather rip us apart?" Sally whimpered. Lighting's brows lowered. "No, of course not. But I won't change my beliefs just because you want me to. I understand that you would never even think of terminating a pregnancy and that's fine. I can handle that for you, but.. You are getting way too emotionally involved with Bobby and Jesse's thing here. You hve to back off. Not just for me, but for them. If you want them to remain friends with us, you have to back off." "I haven't done anything wrong here." "Yes, you have, but.."
He paused and sighed, "I get it. You want kids. You had a baby and.. Bad things happened." "Bad things? Are you kidding me? I couldn't keep my baby, Lightning. I loved my baby before I even saw him.. How can Jesse-How can you be so heartless?" Lightning didn't know how to answer that. He had to think about it for a second befoe sitting next to his future wife and venting.
"I was fifteen." "What?" "I was fifteen when Kailey Kneeds told me she was pregnant. We were young and weren't even a real thing. Part of me doesn't even beleive it was mine. I never told my Mom because I was a scew up and I felt like it would just be another thing to add to the list of fuck ups by her youngest son.. I will never forget her name because of the fear of becoming a Father so young. Her parents took her to the clinic with zero hesitation and she had an aboriton." "Lightning.. That's.. Awful. You never told me that." "Because you are so sensitive and because you throw every woman I've slept with into my face and because of what happened to you. Now if she hadn't have had that aborition, do you think I would have been able to enter racing school? Would I have been able to get through college and begin a racing career? Or would I have had to get a real job and hold it and suck it up and accept what I did to myself and to Kailey and that kid. That is no way for some kid to grow up. Her parents knew better, I knew better. Having that baby would have been a mistake for us. We were not ready and Bobby and Jesse have decided that they are not ready. Having this baby out of guilt because you want them to is not a healthy way to have a family. I may not understand families very well, but I know and I knew that that is not a family. That when they want a kid, they will have one on their time. I love you, so let this go. Let it all go, please.. And trust that they are doing what is best for them and their situation. Like Kailey did."
Sally stared at him. Not sure what to think of Lighting right now. She felt sick to her stomach, she was stressed. She looked at him and asked, "I can't believe that you.. Weren't you with Mollie at that age? At fifteen?" Lightning sighed, "Yeah, no.. Sort of. We were always this toxic off and on thing.." He was ashamed. Sally stared. So not only did Lightning knock up some girl at one point, but you cheated on Mollie. "Did she ever know?" "No." "Okay..." "Sal.. I'm sorry I don't talk to you about a lot of things from my past. I'm sorry.. I'm just such a screw up.. Or I was before I became Lightning. I left Monty McQueen behind for so many reasons and I never want to see him again. And.. If it were up to me, you would never know he existed." "Do you regret it?" Sally asked. Lightning hesitated answering that, so instead answered with a question, "Do I regret what?" "Kailey having that abortion." "Um... No. No, I don't, and I'm sorry if that hurts you, but I was way too young. I know some people can do it, but we couldn't, her parents didn't want her or I to throw our lives away for that.. Plus, I had the reputation back then."
Sally snickered and joked, "I'll bet if Lightning McQueen knocked some girl up that girl would never think of having an abortion." Lightning nodded with a disgusted face. "Probably right, but you are the only woman I'm going to knock up. Not now, but.. One day, okay?" "Okay." Sally muttered then she leaned over on her fiance's shoulder and replied, "It's okay.. I can't say I agree or understand why, but.. It's okay.." She wiped her tears then added, "My son would have been seven this year." Lightning kissed Sall on the head. Taking her hand in his and petting it gently with his fingers before admitting, "I'm not good with kids.. I do want my own one day, but.. I'm scared. And I'm not ready. I know you are and I know you will make a great MOther, but fighting for this.. Fighting Jesse on this is not the way to proove that, Sal. Drop it.. Please." He begged.
Sally swallowed loudly then nodded. "Okay. Yeah, I'll drop it. I'll drop it and I'll apologize to the Swifts.." "Good. I love you. And.. Can we just keep that little thing between us? About me?" "Of course, Stickers. Kailey Kneeds, huh?" "Don't." "Don't what?' Sally asked. Lightning glared at her and said, "Don't look her up. I know you and you will some how find a way to be jealous. And you don't need to be. She was nothing to me. You.. You are the woman I want to marry. You are my future wife." He smiled. Sally smiled back then the twon kissed softly. Lighnting smiled deviously and suggested, "You know? We could practice trying for a baby. Just for fun." Sally giggled! "What?" Lightning shrugged and continued, "I think it could be fun. I mean whenever we do start, we're going to want to get it right. Make sure we choose the best and.. Deepest positions possible, get blood really flowing and such.." "You are awful." "But you love me." He reminded.
Sally smiled. She did. She did love him very much. They began kissing again. Kissing more intensely, making out as their hands began to explore each other's bodies. Lightning loosened his collar and unzipped the suit from the neck to the belt line. Getting his arms out of the suit and grabbing onto Sally's waist. They kissed with a fire like passion. Sally loosened the belt of the suit then rubbed her hands over his chest. He had on a tank top. She pulled at it and lifted, breaking their kiss and pulling the top off and over his head. Lightning stood up and shimmied out of his suit, kicking off his shoes and the suit. Standing before his woman in nothing but his underwear. Sally stood up and pulled Lightning close so that they could kiss again. Lightning grabbed her wrist and stared down at her. Breathing heavily already, slightly sweaty from the race. He wreaked of motor oil and gasoline. His hair was all messed up from the helmet. Sally rubbed his chest with her free hand, up his chest, up his throat.
Lightning leaned his head back, Sally rubbed under his chin and carressed her thumb over his cheek before brusghing her fingers over his lips. Lightning lowered his head, looking back at her. Her index finger brished his lower lip, he gently bit it and smiled in a charming and cricked-half smile like way. He was so sexy. Even being the weird person he was at times, he was hot and sexy. Sally pulled her hand away and Lightning released her wrist before embracing her body, pressing his to hers and kissing her, making out with the woman of his dreams. Tongues rolling all around each other's mouths. Lightning broke the kiss and went for her neck, Kissing her neck, then her shoulder, then gazing at her as he took of her shirt and tossed it aside. Sally smiled as she fell deep for those blue eyes. Lightning brished his hand over her body, her side curves, her hip. Taking the belt loop of her pants and shoving her pelvis into his. She glanced down, feeling his hard against her then back up.
Lightning unbuttoned, unzipped her pants, then knelt down before his queen and pulled her pants down to her ankles. He instantly nose dived betwen her legs. Kissing her panties. Sally almost lost her balance, and grabbed onto his blonde hair, pushing Lightning more into her groin. Sally moaned quietly. Lightning stopped and looked up at her and said, "Don't hold back for me. I like it when you're loud." He then kissed her panties again. Right on her area. Licking them upwards. Sally breathed loudly, "Oh, Lightning.." She blushed. Lightning licked up and down those panties. Teasing her and making her wet. He could feel the difference between his saliva and her natural wetness. He could smell her faintly. A good smell. A scent that drove him wild. If there were anything that could cause Lightning McQueen to freeze and loose all concentration to any race, any conversation, it was her scent. She was his weakness and his distraction. Lightning's hands went from her hips to her ass. Grabbing each cheek and rolling his hands all over them. Pushing her into his mouth and face.
Sally maoned a little more then finally, "You are killing me, please stop. I want it. I want you inside me already.." Lightning stopped and pulled away, looking up at her with a smile. Sally was panting. Staring down at him. ".. Please.." She murmured. Lightning stood back up and caressed the back of his right hand over the left side of her face. Sally closed her eyes and enjoyed his every touch. From the rough to the tender. Sally osuhed her shoes off each foot then kicked her pants aside. Lightning hrabbed her panties and ripped them. RIpped them off her body. Sally's jaw dropped slightly as she scolded, "Those were expensive." "I'll buy you new ones." He assure din a deep tone. That tone. That was how he always sounded when he was in pure sex mode. If that made any sense. They kissed again. Mouths gaping, tongues fighting, gasping as they made out. Lightning's hand went to her ass. One on her asss, the other on the side of her face. The one on her ass drifted.
Drifting around her hip and right between her legs. Rubbing his finger against her lower lips. Sally moaned into his mouth. So he pushed his fingers further between those wet lips. RUbbing her clit very gently, careful with her most delicate parts. Sally moaned and gasped for breath. She pulled back. Arching her back some, Lightning's free hand went to her lower back, holdng her in place as his other hand rubbed closer and closer to her hole. She was the sexiest thing on earth. At least, to him, she was.
Lighting pulled Sally back up then pushed her gently onto the couch. Sitting next to each other, they began making out again before Lightning gently pushed her down onto her back there. They kissed. Kissing with passion and hunger and a need. A need to feel each other. Lightning took off his boxers and dropped them to the side. He then smiled as he gazed down at Sally. "I love you," he said sweetly. Sally smiled. Her smile was breath-taking. "I love you too." She replied in a loud whisper. Lightning leaned over her body. One knee on the couch, the other foot on the floor. He leaned in and kissed her as he rubbed the tip of his member against her wet area. Sally moaned into his mouth. Lightning rubbed faster. She was soaking wet, lubing him up for the main event. Lightning reared his hips back to position better then pushed that first inch in. Sally yanked her head to the side, breaking the kiss so she could inhale loudly with intensity. Lightning kissed her neck. Over and over and he pushed the rest of his length inside her with one, hard push! "OH!" Sally yelped!
She grabbed onto his shoulders, digging her nails into his skin. He loved it though and it only made him harder. As if that was possible! Lightning began thrusting. Making sure to rub his pelvis over her clit just right to get her to reach her orgasm. Making love and yet fucking his love at the same time. Pushing Sally over the edge! She held onto his shoulders tightly as he thrust in and out of her! "YES!.. Oh! Yes, Lightning! Yesss... Deeper, go deeper." She begged. Lightning nearly pulled his entire member out of her before plunging hardback in! Shoving every inch possible of himself into her! Sally shouted in pain and pleasure! "OW! Yes.. Fuck me, fuck me Lightning!" She pleaded. He happily did. Going harder and harder! Shaking the trailer, making the couch shift slightly as he thrust into her most amazing part!
Sally moaned loudly! ALmost screaming! Her insides began to pulse! She was close! Lightning could feel it. He sat up and used his thumb to give her clit more attention as he fucked her. "Oh Lightning!" Sally moaned! Her body shivered. "It's too much.. Too much!" She whined! Her body, mostly her legs shook as Lightning rubbed her clit and fucked her a little more gently. Her insides pulsing more and more tightly around his member. Lightning couldn't help but moan. She was getting him off perfectly. "Oh, Sally.. Sally.. I can't hold it.." He moaned! He couldn't! He had to bust! He shoved himself inside her hard and came! Sally could feel his seed, feel his member spazzing out inside her! Lightning continued to play with her clit. Her body shook. Her pelvis spasmed into her orgasm! "Lightning! Fuck! I'm cumming!" She shouted! Grabbing onto the couch cushions as her insides clamped around his member!
It was so much, too much for Lightning to endure, so he quickly pulled himself out of his girl, which caused Sally to squirt! Her area squirted as he removed himself from her. A mixture of her fluids and his sperm oozed out of her with her orgasm. Sally blushed and closed her eyes. She felt self-conscious and he knew it, but he loved it. Sally breathed heavily as her high came down. Lighting smiled and leaned over her. Kissing her forehead, then her lips. Gazing down at her as she opened her eyes. "You're beautiful." He proclaimed. Sally smiled through her red face. Lightning then kissed between her breasts. "I love you and I absolutely love this body." He panted. Rubbing one of his hands over her tummy and pelvis to her hip.
Sally was happy to hear that and asked, "Really?" Lightning nodded then sat down. Sally sat up next to him and leaned over his shoulder. She glanced down at his member. "It's still hard." She pointed out. Lightning glanced down at it then said, "It has a mind of its own." Sally snickered at that then did the cruelest thing possible. She leaned down, face to his lap, and kissed the tip of it. LIghtning swallowed nervously and asked, "What are you doing." Sally sat back up and answered, "It did a good job. Thought I'd thank it with a kiss." Lightning raised a brow, but couldn't help but smile. Sally was weird, but in a sexy and cute way and he loved it...
The couple began getting dressed. Getting ready to head back out of the trailer. Sally had to ask, "You don't think anyone heard us, right?" Lightning stared a moment before answering, "Probably not." They did, and he was proud of it. Sally slipped her shirt over her head and began fixing her hair as she said, "I guess we should go see our friends and I should apologize." "Hold on there, Sal. I have an idea." Lightning announced. Sally raised a brow and watched him finish getting some normal clothes on. Jeans and a shirt. "What is it?" She asked. Lightning buttoned up and zipped his jeans as he answered, "Let's let them think we are apart on this. Fighting over believing different things. So much so, we are on the verge of breaking up." "Why? That's crazy." "Crazy, but it will work. The girls love you too much to see you leave for good and the guys know how much I love you and how much planning I put into that ring and proposing. They'll try to convince me back into the relationship, I have no doubts."
Sally smiled and replied, "Awe... You talked about marrying me with them? Before you even asked me?" Lightning blushed a little before answering, "Well, yeah. They're my friends. Plus, it only took me like three tries at proposing to get it right." "Three? You tried proposing before Italy?" Sally raised a brow. Lightning nodded and chuckled, "Yes, and you made it difficult." "WHEN!?" Sally asked with a huge smile. Lightning walked up to her and answered, "First time was dinner at Wheel Well." "We have a lot of dinners up there. Which time?" "Um.. The night I returned from the racing season. Mater called the El Dorado show."
Sally gasped! "Really!?" "Mmhm. The second time was that night, but you were bragging about Francesco Bernoulli and kind of killed the mood." "The mood? I killed your ego, didn't I?" She asked as she stared at him. Lightning shrugged, saying, "It's alright. It worked out for the best anyway. Italy was nice and it was the one good thing about that trip that I actually want to remember." HE assured with a kind smile. Sally smiled. It was sweet that Lightning planned ahead that much. Part of Sally always thought it was out of the blue a little. Like, he bought the ring and just came out with it. Not that Lightning wasn't a plan ahead romantic, but he usually wasn't...
So here was the plan. The couple would take their friends out to lunch. Lightning would take Bobby and Jesse, and Sally would take Cal and Meg.
Lightning sat down at the table, next to Mater who came along, as they waited on the Swifts to show up. Mater leaned in close to Lightning and asked, "So.. You want them to think you and Sally are breaking up? But you're not." "Right." Lightning answered with a smile. Mater was unsure about the idea and asked, "But you really aren't.. Right?" Lightning snickered back with, "Of course not, Mater. I love Sally. But I want Bobby and Jesse to think we're not okay. So that they'll see how ridiculous they are being with the Weathers." "And this will work?" "Probably... Sure it will. When do my plans ever go wrong?" Lightning asked with confidence. Mater was still unsure about it though. The swifts walked over, greeting. "Hey, McQueen. Thanks for inviting us for lunch." Said Bobby.
Lightning smiled with, "No problem. My treat." Bobby pulled a chair out for Jesse like a gentleman. "Where's Sally?" Asked Jesse. Lightning scoffed with, "Oh who knows. She and I aren't exactly getting along right now anyway." Bobby raised a brow and asked, "Why? IS it us?" "No, of course not. Just.. She wants me to believe something I don't and do things that I just, I won't. SHe's pushing so hard that I, I think we need a break." Bobby's eyes widened. Jesse became upset and asked, "What do you mean a break? Not like a breakup? Right? The two of you are engaged!" Lightning heard her and thought about that a moment before letting out a sigh. Jesse then added, "What does she want you to believe or do anyway?" Lightning shook his head before answering, "Believe that abortion is wrong, and assure her that in the case she.. She becomes pregnant, I don't push for abortion."
Bobby and Jesse stared a moment at their friend. Not sure what to say to that at first. Bobby shrugged and said, "Just tell her what she wants to hear. You don't have to believe it." Jesse's brows lowered as she elbowed her husband and scolded. "This is Sally we are talking about Bobby. Sally sees through everything, and I mean everything. She's an attorney for Chrysler's sake." Bobby nodded in agreement. Lightning frowned and asked, "I'm doing the best thing here, right? I mean.. I love her, but.. If she can't budge than she is selfish and manipulative." Bobby sighed. Jesse answered, "I.. I don't think so... It doesn't sound like Sally.."
Bobby snickered rudely. "Really? It sounds exactly like Sally to me. Think about how she keeps being so rude to us about it." Jesse frowned and knew Bobby was right, but she knew better than that. "Sally is a very.. An emotional person and gets involved in these types of situations way too much. Emotionally. And honestly Lightning.. You are a dramatic man. Very dramatic. Like... Over the top and almost comical." Lightning glared and snarled, "I get it Jess.. Continue." Jesse sighed, "I think you two need to talk. You love Sally, and she loves you. We all know that. In the ned.. She should not be making you believe something you don't want to, but if she ever became pregnant and you didn't want it.. I.. I'm on women's side here. It's her body, not yours. If you don't want it, you could walk away from it." "But I don't want to walk away from Sally. I just don't want kids anytime soon and certainly not by surprise."
Jesse snickered and sort of smiled as she replied. "If you want to be with Sally and truly love her so much that you want to marry her, you already signed up for that possibility." Lightning sighed. Thinking that over. Or at least pretending to. He already knew that and made that decision. He wasn't ready for kids, but if Sally ever accidentally became pregnant, they'd go with it. For Sally's sake. Bobby then reminded, "And you took forever planning that proposal man. You have to talk to her, but I gotchya back no matter what." Lightning smiled a little hearing that and thanked his friend...
Sally sipped her water, enjoying the lunch with Cal and Meg. Cal was first to ask, "Where's Lightnin?" Sally set down her glass and admitted, "I don't think Lightning and I are getting married." Cal nearly choked. Meg quickly asked, "Why? What happened?" Sally sighed, answering, "We just.. Got into a huge fight over the subject of abortion and his beliefs versus mine and it's clear we are very different people." Meg frowned and fell a little heartbroken for her friend "Sally... You and Lightning are so perfect. It's miscommunication.." Cal nodded and said, "That man loves you like you wouldn't believe. Don't let something this... This small, break you two apart." Meg bobbed her head from side to side and corrected, "It's not exactly a small thing, Cal.. It's abortion.."
Cal frowned and thought about that before asking Sally. "What did Light say?" Sally shrugged before answering, "That he thinks abortion is okay. He's stuck on that and if say, I ever accidentally.. Did.. Become pregnant, he wants me to terminate it." "Or what?" Asked Meg rudely. "Did he threaten to leave you and the baby?" "Metaphorical baby." Cal corrected. Meg glared at him. Sally shook her head. "He didn't say it, but he didn't have to. He was very rude, hurtful, and firm about his choice. Lightning doesn't want a baby... Ever.. I think.." Meg and Cal stared at Sally a moment. Cal asking, "So.. You two are?.. Breaking up?"
Sally stared into her glass. Thinking about that. What if Lightning never wanted kids? What if he always kept saying no. Cal then reminded, "Lightnin loves you, Sally. I think the two of you need to cool off and try talking about it again." Meg reminded Cal that, "This isn't an easy conversation. Imagine if you and I had different thoughts on the subject." Cal shrugged. Meg rolled her eyes. Sally shook her head and said, "I can't stand being with a man that believes in taking a baby's life, simply because he's not ready. That's not okay." Her eyes teared up. Cal and Megen stared at Sally. Pain in their eyes as they realized how upset Sally was by Lightning and her disagreement. A little worried that their friends were on the verge of a serious breakup...
The following week.
Lighting was in the pits. Sally next to him, holding his helmet. Lightning asked, "Hey, have you seen the Weathers?" Sally shook her head. "No. I haven't seen Bobby or Jesse either." "Hmm." Lightning was a bit worried. "Should we play it in front of them?" "Play it?" Questioned Sally. Lightning snickered and pulled Sally in closer by her hip as he explained, "Yeah, pretend to be on the verge of that breakup. We can act all cold and distant and argue over petty things in front of them." Sally smiled and seductively stared up into his eyes as she replied, "Only if I get amazing make-up sex later." Lightning smiled. His teeth showing as he couldn't help it. He just loved this woman so much.
Sally suddenly pulled away and announced, "The Weathers." Lightning looked behind to see Cal and Meg walking up to the pits. As he looked back to Sal, he saw the Swifts from the other direction. He sighed. Sally glanced back and noticed them too. She then looked up to her fiance and asked, "How far you want to take this make-believe break-up thing?" Lightning shrugged, "The more real, the better the sex later." He joked. He was joking, but Sally believed him. The Swifts and Weathers glared at each other as they came closer to passing one another, but were stopped at the sound of Sally yelling at Lightning and both couples looked over and watched as Sally yelled, "I can't believe you! It's just disgusting! I can't even look at you!" Lightning snickered and snapped back with, "Than why are you here!?" Sally shoved the helmet into Lightning's stomach, he grabbed ahold of it before it could hit the ground though. "Good question!" Sally yelled! Then stomped off adding, "I"ll be in the trailer!" Lightning watched her go.
Trying not to smile. She was hot. Very hot and he couldn't wait to run right back into her arms and kiss her. Also, ouch. That hurt! She was stronger than he thought. Lightning looked over to see his friends watching. He sighed, then put on his helmet before heading to his car. Bobby and Cal glanced at each other. They were concerned for Lighting and began to realize how messed up this was that the girls were separating them all apart over this. Cal was beginning to feel bad and understand that this was Bobby and Jesse's choice. And Bobby began to realize how hurt and frustrated Cal and Meg must be with trying for a while and here they were going to throw this away, but neither said a word to each other still.
Jesse suddenly grabbed her stomach and said, "Bobby.. I don't feel so good.." Then took off running to the restrooms. Bobby sighed. Meg rolled her eyes and snarled under her breath, "Bitch.." Cal scolded loudly, "Stop! Jesse is your friend! You should be making sure she's okay!" Meg stared at Cal with confusion. Why was he being cross with her? Cal shook his head then walked off to his pits. Meg followed of course, but she was a little unsure why Cal was suddenly cross with her...
After the race, which, Lightning won first, Cal second, Junior third. Bobby was more in the middle of the pack this round. As Lightning stood on the podium, cameras flashing, fans cheering, teammates lapping up his victory... All he could think of was getting back to his trailer and seeing Sally. Kissing her passionately and talking about the race and making sweet love to her.
Knock, knock! Sally heard from inside the trailer. She smiled and shouted "Just a moment!" She fluffed her hair up slightly before walking over and opening the trailer door. Only to be disappointed. "Oh.. Meg.. It's you." Meg let herself in the trailer and asked, "Are you okay? I saw what happened before the race.. With you and Lightning." Sally began thinking quickly about how to respond and pretend here. "Yeah, well.." She began. Not sure what to say. Thankfully, Megen had questions to ask. "What happened? I mean.. I get it.. I know that it's because of.. Different.. Views, but.. Are you okay?" Staring into Sally's eyes. Sally hesitated to answer that...
As Lightning headed to his trailer, he was stopped by Cal. "Hey Light! Wait up!" Called the dinoco racer. Lightning stopped as Cal rushed over and asked, "How are you? You and Sally?" Lightning sighed, answering "I.. We are just fighting. Again. It's like the new norm." He lied. Cal nodded and asked, "But you love her, right? Don't you want to at least try and figure this out?" "Well of course I do Cal, but.. Sally's stubborn. I'm seriously thinking about leaving her." Cal's eyes widened. Bobby then walked over and asked, "What's going on?" "Lightnin is thinking about leaving Sally." Cal announced. Bobby's eyes widened with shock! "WHAT!? " Cal nodded. Lightning then explained, "Sally and I aren't getting along guys. If we're not fighting, we're not talking at all anymore. Plus, she's changed. She's not the girl I fell in love with.." He vented. Cal was the one to ask, "What do you mean? The hair?"
Lightning stared a moment at his friends. What began as a lie was now the truth. Not the part about him and Sally breaking up, but this next part. Venting out his fears. "Sally has changed. Yes, her hair.. Her personality lately too. She wants to try all these new things as if she's suddenly bored of our life together. She's acting more impulsive and wild and.. And I don't know. It's just not her. Not to mention, she's my temporary boss right now. Which isn't helping out relationship." Bobby raised a brow and asked, "Do you still want to get married?" Lightning did. He very much did, but for the lie's sake he answered with, "No.. I don't think so.."
Cal placed a hand on Lightning's shoulder and reminded, "You can't just decide that. I won't let you. If you want to though, fine. I got your back man." "Yeah, me too." Agreed Bobby. Cal then continued, "But you can't just decide to leave her. Not after everything you have done for her, for the two of you. You love this one Light. I can tell you want to resolve this, so let's figure this out. I can help." "Me too." Added Bobby. The two glanced at each other. Lightning smiled slightly. On his side, the plan was working. Cal and Bobby were putting differences aside for him. Just as he knew they would...
Sally sat on the couch in Lightning's trailer and lied, "I'm thinking about leaving Lightning..." Meg sat next to her friend to comfort her. "Why?" She asked. Sally sighed before beginning with lies. "Well.. We have such different beliefs. He is mean and pushy and cruel about them too. Forcing me to think how he wants me to, or else he.. He punishes me emotionally. Making me feel like I've hurt him and hurt us each time. He's pretty dam controlling, Meg... He... He.." She paused as her eyes teared up and she began to truthfully vent. "He's going to be bored of me anyway.. He looks at women from time to time. Maybe not intentionally, but he does.. He has so much past that it hurts me.. He's always gone racing and I know that it's my fault that I don't spend as much time with him because I chose to work so much, but it's killing us, me. It's killing me.. And after what happened in England, I just want us to be home and I want him to stay! I want a family, but when I mentioned I... would... stop taking birth control, he darted out of the idea completely! I'm afraid the same thing that happened before is going to happen to me again Meg.. I was happy once.. I was happy and married and thought I had it all. My job, a husband, and.. Then I left it all, and for a few months, I had a baby and then.. It was all taken from me because I screwed up! I wasn't happy, and took it all for granted, and now.. All I can think of is if I felt that unhappy with such an amazing, smart, person who just wanted to save lives for a living.. How is a marriage with Lightning not going to fall apart? I mean.. Lightning is immature, he's childish, he's a bit rough, he's rude, he's selfish at times, and he's a pervert. I know he's a man, but.. Sometimes I can't look at him without hating him or being afraid.. It's just going to happen again and all I want to do is run home and cry to my Dad, but Chrysler knows I can't do that because then I'd get the speech and I.. I.. I'm falling apart here, Meg!" She began to cry!
Meg grabbed ahold of Sally in her arms and cradled her friend closely. Shooshing her gently, rubbing her back. "It's okay.. It's okay, Sally. If.. If that's how you really feel than you really need to reconsider marrying him.. I love you and I don't want you to be unhappy.. You need to be sure of what you want and if Lightning has decided he doesn't want those things.. Don't waste more time on him.. Not just for you, but his sake to.." Meg honestly almost began to cry along with Sally. Meg had grown to love and adore Sally and Lightning as a couple. And seeing Sally like this broke her heart.
Suddenly the trailer door opened and Meg looked across the room to see Lightning in the doorway. He stared a moment. Seeing Sally crying like that. "Woah, what happened?" He asked in concern. He began to walk over, but Meg stopped him by snapping. "Just go! Haven't you done enough!? Come back later and we'll be out of here, stupid." "Stupid?" Lightning questioned her insult. "LEAVE!" Megen yelled! Lightning stared at his crying fiance. He wasn't sure if she were really upset or just this good at acting. So he slowly stepped back out of the trailer. Confused and worried. Closing the door behind him. Sally began to giggle. Wiping her eyes then asked her friend, "Did you really just call him stupid?" Meg smiled. "Yeah, I did. It felt good too." She giggled back. Sally laughed. It was kind of funny. For them...
Meg walked out of the trailer, shutting the door, and was immediately stopped by Lightning who asked, "What's going on in there?" "What's going on is exactly what I tried to warn you about before." Meg was rude about it too. Lightning shook his head. "What exactly did you warn me about?" He asked. Megen slapped her forehead then explained. "Sally is scared. She's a flight risk because of her previous marriage. You aren't helping either with all your negative quirks and this disagreement on abortion. She is going to run, and you are going to wake up to an empty bed one morning, her clothes packed and car gone and she is going to run away." "She's not running away. Sally is fine." "Lightning, try to see it. She's acting weird because she's scared." "Sally would never run from the life she's built in Radiator Springs." "But hasn't she before?" Megen asked, "ran away from a life she had built."
Lightning stared at his friend. Meg was right. Sally has run away from her life before. But this was a trick, a lie to get the Weathers and the Swifts back together. Except that Meg has thought this before and tried to warn Lightning about this before. Before the Weathers and Swifts started fighting this bad. So now he was wondering. Were those real tears he saw? Was Sally having doubts or not? Lightning looked at Meg and said, "No. Sally wouldn't do that. Not to me." Then he walked around her and into the trailer. Closing the door behind him. Meg sighed. Sally was going to run away, she just knew it was going to happen...
