Dear readers, I have not read any private messages for my own safety. I am afraid that too much negativity or bullying will push me back into a dark and depressive state and I can't afford that right now. I am so sorry for the unreliability. I am trying and doing the best I can. I wish that were enough, but I do understand I have upset some if not all of you beyond repair by not keeping up with the updates as promised. I am really good at dissapointing people lately. For those who ae reading the story. Thanks and hope you are enjoying it. -The Legend 95

Lightning lay a blanket over his sister who had already fallen asleep in the guest room. He shut off the light and closed the door quietly. He leaned back on the door and let out a sigh. His Mom would be heartbroken. So maybe he shouldn't tell her. He wasn't sure yet. He just knew that it would hurt her a lot. Lightning made his way down the hall and to the bedroom when his pocket began to vibrate. He pulled out his phone as he shut the bedroom door. Sally. He quickly answered as he flopped down onto the bed. "Hey, beautiful."

Beautiful? Well, you're in a better mood than I expected.

"I'm exhausted."

I'm sorry.. How is Kristine?

"She'll be okay. I'm looking into a few rehab facilities. Get this taken care of now before it gets out of control."

Yeah, that's probably best.

"Sorry about your weekend.. I'm sure Kristine didn't mean to ruin it."

She didn't. I totally understand that this is something no one could predict, Stickers. It's okay, really.

"Really?"

Yes. You need to know and realize that you can open up to me more. I can handle the things you think I can't.

"I know.. I don't want you to though."

That's sweet, but I can. I want to. You shouldn't have so much on your shoulders. Talk to me more often, alright?

"Yeah, okay."

... I love you.

"Love you more. I miss you."

You are such a baby.

"Am not."

Are to! And it's funny.

"Yeah, sure, okay. So you don't miss me when I'm gone?"

No, I do. But I don't complain and whine about it as you do.

"Ha-ha. Funny. I can't help it. ... You know, I was thinking about that."

About whining and complaining?

"What? No. About how we are always so apart. What if we get you, someone, to run the motels?"

Light.. I thought we talked about this.

"We have, but.."

I don't want to let someone else run them. I enjoy running them!

"I know you do, but.. Maybe at least quit.. Being the town's attorney?"

What!? That's a hard no.

"But we would get a little more time together."

We can make it work. We always have Stickers.

"I don't want to make it work anymore. I want more of you."

Than retire.

"Excuse me?"

Just saying...

"That's not even close to the same. I have one job."

One job that takes more time than two of mine.

"That's not fair."

I'm not serious. Not yet anyway. I know you aren't ready for that, and that's fine. I was only trying to make a point. I am not ready to give any of my careers up. You understand that, don't you?

"I guess..."

Good.

"... I better go. I need to shower. Take my meds and get some sleep. I want to wake up before Kristine, just in case."

Okay. Night Stickers. Love you and talk to you later.

"Alright, night." Lightning hung up then tossed his phone across the bed gently. Letting out a sigh. He was exhausted. He was a bit stressed too. Was this how life with Sally would always be? He hoped not, but he also loved Sally so much, that if it was, that was fine. He loved her more than any woman, any other person on earth...

"WAKE UP!" Someone shouted above Sally! Sally's eyes opened wide as she jumped! Rolling onto the floor next to the bed with a THUD! Jesse stood above her and snickered, "Sheesh. Sorry." She apologized. Sally sat up and rubbed the back of her head and asked, "What was that for exactly? I was sleeping peacefully." Jesse lent her hand out and helped her friend to her feet, answering, "Got a busy day ahead baby, and night." Sally walked to her bag and began sorting out something to wear as she asked, "Is Allison here? I know she was thinking about leaving and heading home early." "NO, she already left earlier. We would have woke you, but she insisted we let you sleep." "Okay." "What happened anyway? What did Kristine do that was so bad that Lightning had to come and get her?" Asked Jesse.

Sally shook her head. "No, I can't. It's a personal family matter." "Alright, I get it. Well, get up and get ready. I think Flo has breakfast for you, and then we are going to the salon." "Why?" Sally asked. Jesse raised a brow and snickered, "Are you serious? We have to try and fix that hair!" She pointed to Sally's fading black hair. "The blonde is trying to bleed through at your roots! Time to see what they can do. That half blonde growth and weird fade are hideous." "Well.. Thanks.." Sally muttered. Jesse giggled slightly then hugged Sally before replying, "Well hurry up Darlin. We want to help you. Lord knows Lightning would never tell you how awful that mess looks. The man loves you too much. Don't worry, Bobby is the same way. I know, I tested it one day. I tried purposely dressing like a hobo on crack, I swear and that man had the balls to tell me I look beautiful. Said I might start a new trend. I called him out on his bullshit, but at least I know he doesn't want to hurt me." Sally giggled.

The idea of Bobby trying to lie to Jesse about her looks! Sally rolled her eyes. "I think Bobby is afraid you." He joked. Jesse nodded agreeing with, "He had better be. I'll kick his ass and I want him to know it. Well, get dressed baby girl. Don't take too long. We are wanting to fix that, go shopping for something extra slutty to wear tonight." "Where are we going tonight?" "Sam's idea, I'm not spoiling. I like her, by the way. She's a little too preppy for me, but she knows how to have fun. Alright, hurry up." She ordered before leaving the room. Sally sat on the bed. Smiling. She had the best of friends and was getting married. She was happy...

So after breakfast, the girls packed up and headed out to the salon. Trying to see if someone on the professional side could fix Sally's off-color and odd hair. Sally sat in the chair and the stylist looked at Sally's hair with wide eyes and asked, "What happened to it? Did you box dye it?" Sally shook her head, answering, "No, It was red, then I tried brown and it turned a bit green.. So a salon in California dyed it black... I really don't want to cut it much shorter though.. I liked my length.."

The stylist sighed, replying, "I'm going to have to cut some.. It's going to be below shoulder length still, but it's gonna happen.. I'm not going to be able to get all this out. So.. I think I can get it to a light to dark brown. It won't be blonde, it won't be black exactly, but it will look a lot better." Sally frowned a little. She regretted this a lot now. She quietly muttered, "I'm getting married..." The stylist then asked, "When?" "I don't know.." Sally answered as she looked up with worry. "Can I get it blonde before the wedding?" The stylist sighed and shook her head, biting her lip and answering honestly, "If the wedding is like... Four months away." Jesse stepped in saying, "That's plenty of time. Can you just do the brown for now? Anything has to be better than this!" The stylist nodded.

Jesse knelt in front of Sally and grabbed her hands and assured, "Worst case, I will help you find the best blonde wig we can and I'll make you blonde one way or another for your wedding baby. You here me?" Sally nodded. Samantha then walked up and said, "I'll stay with you while the others go scouting for the best stores." Sally raised a brow. "What kind of things are we doing tonight? I told Lightning I wouldn't?"-"NO, no, no. Lightning isn't here." Jesse snarled. "That man gets TONS of attention all the time. Tonight, you are getting the attention. Sam and Megen are staying here while the rest of us scout around. Whenever you get done, you girls meet up and we will have some things for you to try on." "But I"-"Get this fixed first," Jesse ordered firmly before she, Flo, and Raven went out to find the best shops...

Sally, Meg, and Samantha met up with the others at some dress store. Jesse greeted them at the door and grabbed onto Sally's arm quickly, pulling her towards the dressing room. "We found the best-looking outfits!" Everyone went over to the dressing room to find a rack of dresses waiting. Sally took one glance at some of them and admitted, "Most of these are a little.. Um.. Not my style." She blushed. Samantha pulled one off the rack and squealed! "OOh! This one is just the sexiest little thing!" Black sequins, strapless, short.

Sally rolled her eyes and admitted, "I'm all for looking sexy, but these are.." She paused and grabbed one that was fewer strings. "Barely anything at all." She stared with disgust." Jesse snatched that dress and blushed, admitting, "That one's mine." She smiled nervously. Sally sighed. Megen then asked, "Don't you want to feel strong and sexy? You've been so..." Raven butted in with, "So crazy acting." Megen nodded and continued, "YES! You are downing yourself and after whatever happened the other night, you need this. We all could use a fun night out." Sally raised a brow and asked, "So where are we going? IS it some weird strip club?" The girls laughed! Flo answering, "Not at all hun." Raven then added, "We found this nice bar though." Samantha then with, "I reserved us an entire table and show." "Show?" Sally questioned.

Jesse then grabbed three dressed and shoved them into Sally's hands and said, "YES! Now go try these on! And don't be afraid to step out and show them ALL to us. We have to vote which looks best on you, okay?" Then she gently pushed Sally into the dressing room, closing the curtain. Sally stared at the mirror inside there then hung the three dresses up on the little hook attached to the wall. (For fun, here are the dresses on the site, tide buy DOT com. you can search these item codes and they will pop right up. Dress 1, 30918176) SILVER, one shoulder and sparkly. Sally stepped out in it and the girls applaud and whistled.

Sally shrugged and admitted, "I actually like this one." Jesse nodded then shooed her back in with, "Try on another." (Dress 2, 30173890) Black with the deep V netting looked stunning across her breasts, long sleeve. Flo's eyes widened as she complimented, "Now that is sexy!" Raven fanned herself and joked, "I have to rethink my relationship status now." Jesse laughed and compliments, "You look, hot baby. Hold right there." She then grabbed out her phone and snapped a photo, then texted. "What are you doing?" Sally asked. Jesse bit her lips playfully and answered, "Teasing the groom." Sally blushed. Looking down at her dress, she asked, "Does it look that good?" Megen nodded. "Yeah, it does. The blondish to brown hair makes you look stunning to. Good call fixing her hair Jess."

Jesse nodded and everyone agreed with that. Raven then shooed her in the dressing room to try on dress three. (Dress 3, 30173889) Dark blue, 3/4 sleeves, and little glitter spots. Sally stepped out and Flo complimented, "That one is beautiful." Samantha then added, "But not the one to wear tonight." Jesse then ran up with a small black one with what looked like fake diamonds or sparkles across the chest and see-through netting under the breasts. Sally went and tried it on next. (Dress 4, 30844165) Sally stepped out and quickly, all the girls agreed. This was the one! Jesse snapped a photo and smiled, "That's it! We are done here! You look amazing!"

Samantha's eyes teared up as she joked, "I didn't know you could look so sexy.." Sally rolled her eyes. Raven added, "All the men are going to be all over you in that thing." Sally glanced down at the velvet material and muttered, "Maybe a different dress than..." Jesse quickly scolded, "OH no! That is the one! You are not going to dress like Miss Attorney, businesswoman tonight! You are sexy and you are going to show it!" Megen then added, "And if any man glances your way, you just flash that ring in their faces." Sally giggled, "You girls are awful! Okay, I'll buy it." "YES!" Jesse cheered as the girls applaud! Flo teased, "Hopefully finding the wedding gown will be this easy." Sally stared and realized, she never really even thought about looking at wedding dresses. This was real! This was happening! She was going to marry Lightning McQueen!...

The girls were getting ready for the club that Samantha made reservations at. Sally was powdering her nose in the mirror when she turned and asked her sister, "So how come you planned to go to some club or bar or whatever after I told you no." Sam did her make-up around the horrible-looking nose band-aid and explained, "You did not say no clubs or bars. You said that you told your future husband no heavy drinking, and you told us that you just didn't want to make Lightning feel uncomfortable. So I did what any good maid of honor would do. I spoke with Lightning behind your back. He okayed everything happening tonight." Sally's eyes widened. "What exactly is happening tonight?" Jesse ran up next to Sally and answered, "A hell of a good time!" Raven then added, "The fact that Lightning okay'd it is more than great too! Gotta love a man who lets his wife have fun."

Sally was suspicious about the whole thing though. Flo suddenly called out, "GIRLS! There is a limo and a limousine out front!" The girls flocked to the nearest window. Sally's brows raised with surprise! "Sam! You really shouldn't have!" Samantha shook her head. "I didn't." Everyone stared at Samantha, confused. Sally and the girls walked out to the Limo where the driver stood next to the rear door. Sally walked up and began, "Sir, I think you have the wrong place. We didn't order a limo." The man handed Sally a business card and replied, "A gift. From Mister McQueen. It's yours for the weekend. Just call the number and a driver be here to take you wherever you please. You and your comrades." Sally glanced back at her friends in just awe.

Samantha screamed with excitement! Raven muttering, "Wow. Did I tell you how much I just adore Lightning yet?" Jesse ran to the limo and got in rather quickly. "Come on! What you ladies waiting for!?" She shouted and motioned for the rest of them to get in. Megen went and locked up the house as they all got in. Once they were all in, they headed to the club for a fun night together...

The girls arrived at the club. You could hear the music from outside the place. Sally walked up to the driver's window and asked the lino driver, "Will you be here to take us home?" The man nodded, answering, "Yes Mrs. McQueen." Sally blushed and corrected, "Um, Sally. Sally is fine-I-I'm not married yet." She smiled nervously. The man nodded once. "I'm sorry, of course. Sally." Sally awkwardly walked back to her group. Megen locked arms with Sally and asked, "So? How did that feel? Being called Mrs. McQueen?" She teased. Sally giggled, answering, "It's new. It's.. It's great. I can't believe it. I'm getting married." Jesse smiled and replied, "MMhmm. Say it girl!" Sally smiled and shouted, "I'm getting married!" The girls laughed and had fun with that. They entered the club and were escorted to the table they had reserved. Sitting down, Jesse motioned a sexy male waiter to come and order their drinks.

The man walked over. Jesse looked him up and down and asked, "Man, are you married?" Megen scolded, "You're married, Jesse!" Jesse glared at Meg for that. The waiter asked, "Can I get you ladies a round of shots?" Sally opened her mouth, but Samantha answered, "Yes! Go ahead and get two more followings." The man nodded and walked away. The place was large and nice. Very clean for its place. A bunch of tables with mostly women sitting at them. The waiter returned and placed a tray down on the table then placed a princess crown on top of Sally's head that read the word 'BRIDE' on it. The girls applaud and cheered for her. The man walked away, but as he did, Jesse slapped his backside flirtatiously. Sally rolled her eyes with a smile and asked, "Did Lightning approve of this?" "Why does his approval matter?" Asked Raven. Megen explained, "It's a respect thing. Sally respects Lightning." Samantha then answered, "That's nice, but yes. He did. I mean he even rented you a friggin limo!"

She reminded loudly. Sally nodded and explained, "It just surprises me. Lightning get jealous so easily." Jesse replied, "Awe, don't worry about him tonight. Tonight is all about getting you hot and bothered." The man returned with some glasses of water on a tray. Megen raised a brow and asked, "What's the water for?" Jesse laughed, "To cool down the bride here!" Raven then corrected, "To help digest the alcohol." Sally gladly took a glass and thanked the man. Sipping her drink she thanked her girls. "You girls are the best. I'm going to have such a hard time deciding my maid of honor. I wish Allison and Kristine could have been here though. Something tells me that Allison would have enjoyed this." Samantha then asked, "I thought I was your maid of honor?" Jesse followed with, "Thought I was?"

Sally stared at them. Sipping some more water before clearing her throat and admitting, "I haven't decided yet." Megen snickered. Samantha argued, "I'm your sister." Sally nodded, "You are. You are... But.." Jesse smiled proudly and said, "I'm the best friend." Sally quickly replied, "You are one of my best friends, Jess. I just haven't really decided. I mean.. You and Sam and Meg.. It's a tough choice. And of course, there's Flo and Raven. I mean, Flo has been like a mother to me over the years." Flo smiled. "Awe.. You're like a daughter to me sugar." She exclaimed. Jesse then reminded, "But I make sure you have fun." Sam naturally argued with, "I got your boyfriend's permission to even be here. And the night isn't over yet."

Sally had to ask, "What does that mean?" Samantha just shrugged with a suspicious smile before taking a shot. Jesse followed. Sally curiously asked, "Sam... What did you do?" Samantha shook her head then pushed one of the shots to Sally and said, "Go ahead and take a shot. You'll need it for what you're about to endure." It would be a lie to say Sally wasn't a little scared. Nervous is a better word.

A man in a cowboy outfit walked out and onto the stage. Women all around the club/bat cheered and applaud the man. he was rather large, tan, good looking. Wearing tight, boot cut jeans, black western boots, a red flannel button-up with a leather vest over it, and a black cowboy hat that tied the entire look together. The man-no, cowboy grabbed a mic and began to speak...

"Evenin' ladies." Women screamed for him and his deep, southern voice. "Aw, thanks. Make me feel darn special, ladies. But tonight I have three special ladies. Three lucky women who are tying the knot this year." Women screamed loudly. Sally blushed and looked at Jesse and asked, "You did not?" Jesse shrugged, pointing to Samantha and reminding her, "Your future husband approved." Sally glanced at Sam. "Did he?" She asked. Samantha nodded. The girls all looked back onto the stage at the cowboy as he continued, "Welcome to the thunder, ladies. So who all wants to see a show?" He asked.

Women screamed and cheered loudly. One in the place shouted, "TAKE IT ALL OFF!" The cowboy chuckled and replied, "Now, I can't do that. My wife might make me sleep on the couch." He joked. Women whistled and cheered even more. The cowboy continued, "I want to invite these three special brides to come up on stage." As he said this, two more cowboys walked up onto the stage next to him. "Miss Lauren Otter, will you come up here and my buddy, James, will get you a seat." Women cheered and applaud as Lauren walked up. James grabbed a seat and set it on stage for her and she sat right down. Waving to her bridal party with a huge smile and red cheeks.

Sally quickly understood what was happening and stood up saying, "Nope. Not doing this." Jesse grabbed her and forced her to sit down, scolding, "Sit yo ass back down! You know you'll enjoy this. Besides, Lightning okay'd it." Sally shook her head and disagreed with, "There's no way that Lightning agreed or okay'd this!" Samantha stepped in and assured her, "He did. I was very clear with him about what all would be happening here tonight. You are fine! Relax!" Sally blushed and stared at the stage. The second bride was already on stage in a seat. The cowboy then cleared his throat and continued in the mic, "Now, for our final bride of the night. Will Miss Sally Carrera come up here please?" Sally's bridal party cheered and applaud. Jesse giving Sally the push she needed. Sally awkwardly approached the stage and the cowboy took her hand, pulling her up. "Hello there Darlin." He greeted as he looked down into her eyes.

Sally nervously muttered, "I-I'm engaged." The man chuckled, "Well, of course, that is why you're here after all." Sally turned bright red! The cowboy then asked din the mic, "Does your fiance' know you're here?" He put the mic to Sally. Sally glanced at the crowd then mumbled, "Y-Yes.." The man snickered, replying, "Well. Do you think he's jealous?" Sally shook her head. The man glanced at the audience then unbuttoned his shirt which made most of the women scream! "Think he'd be jealous now?" He asked. Sally glanced at the man's chiseled chest and abs. Way more pronounced than Lightning's. Jesse shouted, "Get it girl!"

Sally looked up at the cowboy with her red face and answered, "N-No." The man chuckled and glanced at the women in the audience once more before grabbing Sally's hand and pressing it on his abs then asking, "How 'bout now?' IN a deep and southern accent. Sally stared at his body. At her hand pressed against his abs. Women cheered and screamed! the cowboy smiled and gently guided Sally to the chair in the middle of the stage and said, "Why don't you just sit down right there and enjoy yourself, Darlin." Sally sat down and watched as the cowboy walked forward and asked the crowd, "You ladies came for the show, right?" The women in there screamed loudly! Applauding and drooling over the men. Sally was still in disbelief that Lightning agreed to let her do this!

"Well let's start the show!" He shouted! Pointing to the DJ in a corner. The song, 'Dirt on my boots remix Jon pardi' came on and the show began. First, he took off the vest while stomping to the sound of the beat. He rolled his pelvis right in front of Sally. Sally instinctively leaned back in her seat and looked away as if she were uncomfortable. The man then turned around and shook his ass in her lap. Brushing the rim of his hat with his fingers, shaking his hips to the beat in hard sways.

He turned back around and slapped the button up down to his lower back, off his arms. He took it off and slung it in circles above his head as he spun around, clicking his heel to the beat of the music. He stopped and faced Sally. Humping his pelvis forward to the beat. He used his button-up to wrap around the air and pretending to pull Sally closer in, though he didn't. He placed the shirt over Sally's head then faced the crowd and began to undo his belt. Women screamed! Megen leaned over to Sam and asked, "You sure Lightning okay's this." Sam nodded. The cowboy slipped his belt off and turned back around, facing Sally, he tossed his shirt off her head and Sally stared directly at the button of his jeans. Her eyes went up at him. He smiled in a sexy way. He seemed to be sweating already.

Sally swallowed nervously as the man danced directly in front of her. He placed his boot between her legs suddenly. Sally stared down at his boot. The man leaned forward, his face near hers, then kissed the side of her neck before removing his boot and jumped forward, clicking his boots on the floor in a southern dance-like routine. He unbuttoned his pants and downed the zipper before taking Sally's hand and sliding it from his pecks, his abs, his abdomen, and slid her hand to the rim of his boxers.

Sally's face turned a brighter red than ever before and she quickly ripped her hand back, covering her face out of embarrassment. The man flexed and danced over her, in front of her for what felt like forever before getting down on one knee in front of her and lending out his hand. Sally hesitated, but reached forward and grabbed his hand. He took her, pulling her up and then bowing down to the crowd. "Miss Sally everyone!" Everyone cheered. Especially Sally's party. The cowboy then thanked her and the other two brides by name as well. He guided them off stage and Sally sat down with a bright red face. Her girls cheering her on and telling her how great that was. Sally playfully scolded her sister, "You are the worst!" Sam laughed, replying, "No, I'm just the maid of honor!" "Nice try Sam. But I still haven't decided that!" "WHAT!? You mean after that!? After getting Lightning's approval for that and I still don't get to be maid of honor!?" Sally just smiled at her sister. It would be hard to choose her maid of honor...
