Good bye 2022, welcome 2023. Let's hope we have a smoother year this time?

Hope everyone is doing better this time around. Let's get this year started with a new chapter!

Vinny.

Beacon Academy

March, 80 AGW/ 2039 CE

Headmaster Ozpin, or Ozma for the few on Remnant and most of Earth knew, had seen many things on Remnant. From the horrors of the Great War, to the awe-inspiring construction of Amity Colosseum, and the many humorous shenanigans of the various Academies.

He admits that he didn't anticipate this…..NOD organization appeared out of nowhere and started being a hindrance to both the White Fang and the Schnee Dust Cooperation but then again, those two did make a lot of people mad and it was only natural that someone decided to do something and strike back.

What the headmaster really did expect today was one of his best agents….tied up, bounded by rope, and gagged with smelly socks. The moment Amber and this NOD marine dragged Qrow up to his office, both he and Glynda had to suppress their laughter.

"Honestly Qrow, I believe your bad luck is catching up to you." Glynda smirked.

"Mmmphhpppmhmmm!" Qrow, seated in a chair (and still tied up and gagged) could only muffle out a response.

"That's enough, Mister Ermey is it?" The Faunus marine nodded. "Could you please untie Mister Branwen please?"

"Will you promise that he won't attack me again?"

Glynda now just stared daggers into the veteran Huntsman, whose eyes now showed fear instead of rage.

"Qrow, you promise not to harm mister Ermey right?" Glynda stated menacingly.

Qrow just nodded frantically.

Amas got up, pulled out his bayonet, and began cutting off the ropes that bind him together. And then afterwards, pulling the smelly dirty socks from his mouth.

In any other scenario, Qrow would have immediately lunged at Amas and strangled him to death….

….but the combined death glares from Amber and Glynda kept him rooted in place.

"Now that's been sorted out. Mister Amas, Autumn, care to expand what happened yesterday?" Ozpin decided to move on.

So the pair of young adults/teens reiterated what had happened. NOD/NATO intelligence discovered that someone was gathering various criminal factions together in Vale, then received information on a potential hit on Amber. Unable to send a full force to eliminate them, Amas was sent as an observer to make sure she wasn't assassinated. Thus, leading to present results.

Ozpin leaned back in his chair, looking concerned. Both Glynda and Qorw shared looks of concern.

"A Grimm-like beetle coming out of her arm? She's after the Maiden's powers." Glynda whispered.

"But that's odd. Why the maidens now? She's usually focused on just eliminating them." Ozpin muttered.

"And she knows at least one of the maidens in our custody. How?" Qrow muttered.

"We'll have to figure that out. Qrow once you recover, start looking for clues for how they found out."

Amas coughed, bringing the attention back onto him. "NOD might be able to help you out. My helmet has a camera and while Amber and I were eating, my people ran a facial recognition scan on the people involved in the attack."

Amas pulled out his Ipad and opened up the email he received from AMI. "4 attackers were involved. 1, the boy is someone we still don't know. However, we figured out three of them."

Amas pulled out a picture of one of the figures. "Intel's found out that the tall man is someone named Hazel-"

"Reinhart." Ozpin groaned. "Of course he's involved."

"Who's he?" Amber asked.

"Someone who blames Ozpin for his sister's death, despite it being her own choice." Glynda sighed. "His semblance allows him to inject dust into his body and to augment his strength."

"He's a tough foe, but seemingly the sanest of them all. Next, we have an Emerald Sustrai." Amas swiped and an image of the green-haired lady appeared.

"Never seen her before." Qrow commented.

"She's 17, younger than both me and Amber. We did a lot of digging for this information. She grew up in Mistral on the streets in poverty. Known to be a good thief and steals a lot of stuff. We believe her semblance is something related to hallucinations. I wouldn't be surprised if she was recruited for her semblance, a semblance that allows for hallucinations is a good way to spark terror." Amas commented.

"Poor girl, brought into this mess," Amber whispered.

"Finally, Cinder Falls." An image of her appeared. "Age unknown but estimated to be between 21 and 25. She was born in Mistral but was abandoned by her parents. Grew up in an orphanage and was bullied at a young age. Was adopted by a wealthy Atlassian businesswoman and their daughters but there were reports she was abused. Those three, along with a huntsman, were found murdered in the hotel she worked in. She's a capable fighter if she can match the strength of a fully trained huntsman at 15 years of age."

"Atlas and their corruption." Glynda sighed.

"The last one….we don't know. My friends at home have nicknamed him rock head for his ability to create concrete walls out of nowhere. Besides that?" Amas paused. "We have almost no information on him at all. This isn't like Emerald, there's absolutely nothing on him."

"Of course. Qrow, when you leave, find out more about this rockhead as well." Ozpin added.

"I will, after I get a drink," Qrow mumbled as he got up. Before he entered the elevator, he gave Amas a glare. "Congratulations kid, you're on my shit list." And then he entered the elevator.

"One pissed-off huntsman looking to kill me is a great start." Amas sarcastically said.

"Hey at least you aren't dead. Most people who meet him end up in the ground." Amber reassured him.

"Enough with you two." Ozpin groaned, feeling a headache incoming. And the school year hadn't even started. "Amber, you're staying here."

Amber groaned. "But….my freedom."

"You were literally targeted by the queen, it would be wise to at least keep you here until Qrow or Ironwood checks up on these assailants. And it wouldn't hurt if you underwent some extra training." Glynda curtly stated.

"Fine…but on one condition. Well two. I want more horseback-"

"NOD's working on it. I have some friends trying to find it."

Thank you Mister Ermey, Glynda and Ozpin thought.

"Two, I'm keeping him." Amber pointed to Amas who looked up.

"Me?"

"Yes. If I'm going through Beacon, he's staying." Amber argued.

Amas blinked. "I'm not sure this is a good idea. NOD's a military organization. Beacon and the Huntsman are the opposite. How would you explain that to the Valean Council?"

Ozpin just smirked. "Perhaps. You don't have a series of transcripts but you are from an organization that all the kingdoms acknowledge as fully independent. And there is a clause in the establishment of the Academies….."

Amas, having read all the laws and rules of the Academies, suddenly knew which part he was talking about. "Page 34, clause 4-8. Governments not affiliated with the 4 kingdoms may deploy liaisons or representatives that have the same rights and freedoms as regular students. The major difference is that they're allowed to take extra leaves from absence to return home to their original duties and are not expected to apply to stick with the kingdoms. It was written with Menagerie in mind. At least until Haven dropped their requirements. It's been unused for the entirety of the Huntsman academies."

"Until now." Ozpin nodded. "While as a Huntsman I do prefer to pick someone with more….transparency, we need help that only Atlas could provide. With the White Fang and its splinter group, the Black Fang, rising in Vale, it would be useful to have some…..armed assistance that wouldn't have to travel across an ocean."

Amas mulled over for a minute. "Well, we always wanted someone in Beacon. Count me in."

"WOOH! Welcome to Beacon Amas!" Amber tackle hugged her new partner, who squealed and fell to the ground. Glynda and Ozpin chuckled.

Teens these days.

New Misawa Airbase

"Careful! Careful! Don't want to hurt him!" Melo cried out as she and Pelayo attempted to herd the horse off the Hammerhead

"What made you think the Hammerhead's meant to carry horses, you dummies?!" a crew chief yelled as they handed the horse, Sugar, to an actual experienced team of military animal handlers. "We'll take it from here, you two go get washed up."

"Ughh, remind me never to handle large animals like that. Rather be busy strangling my Hammerhead." Pelayo groaned, the two pilots filthy from trying to wrangle a terrified horse into a nosy war machine.

"I'm killing my brother when I get the chance," Melo grumbled.

"Hey, it wasn't that bad." A voice from behind said. The two turned around to see the familiar Indian who accompanied them.

Corporal Ram Sharma, of the Indian 5th Gorkha Rifle Frontier Force, was a boisterous, tall, man hailing from a Nepalese family living in India. His parents were important diplomats who managed to wedge India and several non-NATO/Pacific allied nations (Like the ASEAN and South African nations) into the Anti-Salem/Grimm alliance. He was quickly singled out for his martial abilities and recruited into the youth Aura training program and later joined the 5th Gorkhas. Though his parent's involvement prevented him from participating in long range missions. Still the Grimm feared him with his handling with an ASMI and a Kukri.

"Cuse me mate, I like not getting drenched in mud." Pelayo muttered. "Ughh, we aren't even doing anything important. What's with the horse?"

"My brother saved Amber. She wanted her house back, Papa Wolf decided we were getting too fat on base chow so he sent us out to get him." Melo replied. "Ughh Ram you're the only one of the three here that likes getting dirty! My clothes! And my wings!"

Melo, a falcon Faunus, spread out her wings brown, black, and white wings. Said wings were now full of mud, dirt, and other bits and pieces of a forest.

"Hey no! Don't get mud on the tarmac!" a ground crew member yelled.

"Ok ok, we're going," Pelayo muttered as the trio of mud-soaked Terrans slithered off the Tarmac.

20 minutes later and frantic scrubbing later, the three younger aura users entered the recreation room to grab a drink and await new orders.

In the background, a news channel was being played on a TV screen.

"-And this just in, continued protests in several Chinese cities, including Shanghai and Beijing, have escalated to full-on riots over many continued policies from the great pandemic and a very low growth. The Chinese government has deployed several regiments of army troops with riot gear but so far have not clashes-"

"Again? I swear the CCP is barely hanging on at this point." Pelayo raised an eyebrow.

"The Sino-Russian Alliance bought both Russia and China a decade of economic stability but it came at the cost of technological growth. Even with them controlling Central Asia, Africa, and a good chunk of the Middle East, they aren't growing fast enough." Ram added.

"Yeah, and they don't exactly have access to Remnant." Melo added.

The news channel changed. "-the indigenous designed CF-39 Crossbow has been selected as the Canadian Air force's new strike fighter. This marks Canada's first indigenous fight craft. The United States Airforce, British Royal Air Force, and Japanese Air Defense Forces Have expressed interest in the Crossbow-"

"And the Canadians have taken their first step in devoting fight jets. Shame they don't mention they've been tested on Remnant." Pelayo remarked.

"Yeah, the sooner Earth stabilizes, the more troops we can bring in." Melo replied, pooping open a bottle of Aloe Vera from the fridge.

Earth was not perfect, but it was getting better.

Transcript: recording

Three years earlier, post NATO raid on White Fang base in Vacuo

Col. Victor Ross (NASOD Actual): "So you're the legendary weapons maker Hadur Hephaestus? I honestly wasn't expecting to find you in the latest refugee group."

H. Hep (former huntsman and weapons maker): "heh, wasn't expecting an old man like me? I take it you people are the famous NOD"

V. Ross: "NOD's just a nickname. I'm Victor Ross, leader of NOD itself. Technically it's the 1st NASOD but NOD's more catchy."

H. Hep: "Hadur, but you know that."

V. Ross: "What's your story with the White Fang? We expected Faunus conscripts being forced to fight in Atlas, not one of the best makers of Mecha Shifting weapons on Remnant."

H. Hep: "oh you know, the White Fang wanting weapons and came to me to build them. I only build weapons for Vacuo and Vale's Huntsmen and Police, occasionally an Atlas officer if they cough up the cash."

V. Ross: "Yeah, high quality weaponry mostly for fighting bandits and Grimm. You and your assistants refused, I'm guessing."

H. Hep: "I make weapons to fight monsters. Bandits, Grimm, dictators, criminals, acceptable. Targeting poor workers of the SDC or even Vale's Dust Producers? Not as acceptable. And they refused to pay."

V. Ross: "I'm guessing where this goes next."

H. Hep: "So being bullies, they kidnap me and my crew to make weapons. At least until you showed up."

V. Ross: "saw pictures of the working conditions. My wife would say very shitee (in an Australian accent). And the humans working there weren't much better."

H. Hep: "Promise me you'll take care of the White Fang in Vacuo for me?"

V. Ross: "Vacuo's people have already handled that. And by handle, I mean kick them out. Fighting's still going on. Figured let the locals have their fun."

H. Hep: "Good. They deserve it. And my assistants? How are they?"

V. Ross: "All alive sir. One, a mister Ogum Osumi had a bad sprained leg that wasn't treated. He's in a hospital recovering. The other 4 are with the rest of the refugees."

H. Hep:"Good Good…there's something you need from me right?"

V. Ross: "There is….(shuffling noise)…. I'll be honest, my people are extremely new to aura, dust, and mecha shifting weapons. Only recently have we gotten a program to train warriors capable of using Aura. We have most of it down, but we're lacking in a few spots."

H. Hep: "New to aura eh? How new?"

V. Ross, "As in for the last 10,000 years, my people have lived with Grimm, Dust, Aura, semblances. We've been too busy fighting each other until the Grimm became a small issue 4 years ago. Our regular forces held the line but Aura can significantly help us out."

H. Hep: "I see. You need hunters?"

V. Ross: "Working on our own program. Something that can work with our regular forces, that and due to our forces armed to take on armies, we sorely lack weapons for our own hunters. I was wondering if you could help with that."

H. Hep: "HmmPh, interesting. What are you offering?"

V. Ross: "(shuffling papers) free housing, regular pay, all the infrastructure needed to set up a workshop, and (briefcase landing on table) this. Open it."

H. Hep: "….(Case opening)…by the brothers."

V. Ross: "Like what you see?"

H. Hep: "Titanium. One of the rarest elements on Remnant. And Damascus Steel…..not much is made anymore."

V. Ross: "Trying to fight the Grimm means we need a lot of materials and resources that we wouldn't make in peace time. Took us a while to make a lot but….."

H. Hep: "Hmm, so you'll buy weapons from me?"

V. Ross: "It would be helpful to our operations if our teams got something more suited for killing Grimm. Our older weapons work well against the Grimm defensively and in large operations but our forward scouting teams-"

H. Hep: "…When do we start?"

V. Ross: "(Shuffling paper)…..Here."

H. Hep: "….What prompted you people into making this?"

V. Ross: "Blame the yanks for making a machine gun that shoots grenades. So, can you help me make one of my daughters a tool to break legs from this?"

Recording ends.

Allied Regional HQ, Fortress city of Buckler (North and South American Fortress City)

Eastern Sanus, Remnant

Buckler City is considered to be the largest of Terran military settlements on Remnant. One of the first major bases built by Terrans, Buckler was constructed on a peninsula in the Eastern Reach sof Sanus that was mostly plains, light forestry, and few flowing rivers not to dissimilar to the Great Plains of Canada and the U.S mainland. While the natives of Remnant chose not to settle there due to a lack of extensive natural barriers, the Americans were more than happy to erect their own fortification to hold onto the Blanco Peninsula due to it's access to plenty of farm land, space of renewable energy sources, and space for refugees.

It was also home to much of NATO's strategic bomber fleet (All American B-52s and B-1s and a few Indian TU-160s snagged from the Russians), several squadrons of fighter craft, some of the heaviest fortifications a fortress city had, several armour battalions, and probably one of Terra's greatest weapons against the Grimm: Drones. Buckler had a lot of drones to support organic troops.

Both Atlas and Terran Forces (Specifically the U.S, Canadian, Brazilian, Chilean and a smattering of other South American forces in Buckler) had a fondness for drones. However this fondness caused any similarities between Remnant's foremost native military power and the forces of United America. Atlas wanted to replace its frontline troops with dumb Humanoid robots, with the argument being that manpower and resources could be diverted to other portions of the military or Atlas itself.

With the Americans (literally, with forces hailing across the two American continents) having vast industries, immense population, more experience, and limitless resources, there was not as large of a resource or manpower limit. The only practical limit was what could be brought from Earth and what could be hidden from the Allied Nations' rivals.

So while Atlas's answer to robots was let's replace all of our troops with them to reallocate resources, Terra's response was let's build robots to augment our current strength and expand what we could do.

One thing the forces defending Buckler was handle foes the Kingdoms would struggle or even crumble underneath.

That was what Major General Alec Parker overall commander of Allied forces in Buckler, was doing. Stopping a Grimm horde trying to breach (again) Buckler's defenses. Looking over the holographic display he was watching, the General was already plotting.

"Drone feed coming on sir." an aide reported.

"Bring it on up." General Parker reported. On the holographic desk, a map appeared showing hundreds of Beowolves, dozens of Ursas, Goliaths and death stalkers, and supported by dozens of Nevremores.

Salem had constantly work to test the defenses of Terran settlements. It never worked, it only cost her thousands of Grimm each month.

Still better to play it safe. "Ok, range is 75 kilometers from Bucklers walls. Miss Tihelam, drones are cleared to fire."

"Yes sir!"

Above the Grimm horde, a dozen MQ-9 Reaper drones circled overhead alongside a pair of Global Hawks as support. In the past, they would have carried several Hellfire missiles though this changed with the development of new munitions.

Instead, each Realer carried a dozen CBU-98 Chimera cluster bombs. Unlike Earth Cluster munitions, which dispensed hundreds of tiny munitions whose effectiveness against the agrimm was questionable, the Chimera released 2 dozen small but precise warheads that could eviersate all but the toughest of Grimm. And relatively cheap costing 7,000 dollars a piece.

NATO Doctrine stated that one should eliminate the outer stragglers of a Grimm horde as to reduce the chance of Grimm peeling off to flank Allied forces. Then work your way in.

The Reapers began dropping their ordnance in a steady and slow stream, targeting the outer layers of the Grimm horde. Beowolves and auras didn't get a chance to scream as munitions tore into their numbers.

"Outer units eliminated sir." Corporal Master Sergeant Tihelam reported,

"Alright, drones are to work their way into the horde. Weapons free. Drop everything until your Winchester on ammo." Parker ordered.

"Grimm have reached Defense line Phase 1." An aide reported.

Phase line 1 was an extensive minefield filled with claymore mines layered with various Vietnam War traps. Punji Sticks, moats, elevated hills, ditches, more explosives, anything that could kill Grimm. Its goal was not to stop a Grimm advance, but to break up a charge.

And break up a charge it did. The vanguard of the Grimm horde slammed into the line of traps set for them. Some did leap over claymores only to get stuck in Punji traps or mud moats.

"Ok, they're stuck. Artillery batteries, commence firing."

Canadian M777s and C-3 towed artillery guns, stationed 20 kilometers away from Buckler, answered the call. The M777s crews began firing dozens of Excalibur rounds, aimed directly at large clumps of lighter Grimm or deathstalkers. Brazilian L118s threw their own rounds at the Grimm horde.

Guided by GPS and directed by drones or satellites, most of the artillery rounds found their targets. Beowolves halted by the traps found themselves the victim of a vast volley of dumb rounds that shredded their numbers while Excalibur rounds effortlessly plowed through the heavier Grimm.

"Alright, good hits." Parker pressed a comms button. "Livre Flight, HAWKFlight. Move to engage Grimm as soon as they breach defense line 1.

While Artillery continued to rain down on the Grimm and the Reapers continued to drop Chimera munitions, 12 A-29 Super Tucano propeller planes buzzed over the tree line. While regular fighter jets like the F-35 and Euro fighter Typhoon saw action in offensive or large scale defensive operations thanks to their range, NATO forces preferred to use propellor aircraft for short range actions due to their ease on logistics, low maintenance cost, and decent weight to power ratio.

The A-29s dove into the fight, using their 50 Caliber machine guns to bring down the support Nevremores, which had gone unabated. Though Grimm didn't feel emotions, Parker still imagined Grimm being surprised by these low tech planes.

"Laze-Dogs, Rhino, move forward and support air assets in air defense." Parker sent new commands.

"(Comms) Yes sir! Initiating Laser Strike!" half a dozen Strykers armed with Direct Energy Weapons surged ahead of defense line 2, supported by a similar number of LAV 6s.

As the Super Tucanos broke off so the Nevermores couldn't get into clawing range, the APCs drew blood. 6 high power laser beams were fired off. Unlike Remnant's laser weaponry, which were more akin to either particle or plasma weapons, Terran lasers were invisible. It didn't stop the fact that 6 massive Nevermores screamed in pain as their wings were burned off.

As the dying Nevermores fell to the ground, the 6 Laser Strykers switched targets and ignited 6 more Nevermore. The LAV 6s also contributed 30mm rounds into the Turkey shoot out, firing off 5 rounds bursts into the rapidly thinning crowd of Beowolves that broke through to the defense line of traps.

"Reapers are out of munitions." Tihelam reported.

"Pull them Back, most the horde's been decimated." Parker ordered. "Charlie Company, move in to engage surviving Grimm ground assets."

Suddenly from defense line 2 (which was a line of concrete bunkers and walls) 14 M1A3G Abrams Main battle tanks and a similar number of Stryker Dragoons surged forward to reinforce the Stryker and LAV 6 platoons. They rapidly crossed the vast open field between defense lines 1 and 2 and joined in the fight.

In the duel between Grimm Fangs and Terran Steel, the terrans won out as 120mm rounds effortless annihilated heavy Grimm while turret mounted 30mm cannons reduced anything to dust. The Stryker Dragoons unloaded their cargo of soldiers, a mixture of Brazilian, Chilean, and American soldiers, who add a fusilier of rounds into the disintegrating horde.

"Grimm horde has been reduced to 3% of their strength!" Tihelam whooped. "They're retreating!"

"Understood. Livre, Hawk flights, chase down the remaining Grimm. Get engineers to restore defense line 1." Parker barked out new orders.

As the Super Tucanos took off after the remaining Grimm, several trucks worth of army engineers rushed ahead with the necessary materials to reform, rebuild, and readjust the line. Defense line 1 was always expanding to meet various Grimm type and bigger hordes.

Terrans may have only a sliver of land compared to the Kingdoms or the Grimm, but they damned could hold onto what they claimed.

United Nations Database…M1A3 Sep V1G Abrams Main Battle Tank (Model G)

The NATO-led Allied Terran forces on Remnant has operated hundreds of different models of equipment that symbolize the diversity of troops hailing to fight the Grimm and other hostile forces. Main weapons and systems have gained popularity or become famous in the post war years such as an updated variant of the French Mistral Helicopter Carriers that saw an additional half a dozen units produced in New Mantle, the Kukris of the India and British Gurkha regiments, the EuroFighter Typhoons flown by European Air forces, or the Korean K-9 Thunder Self Propelled Howitzers used by many nations to pound Grimm and Grimm aligned groups into submission. However one specific vehicle has captured the eyes of Remnant and Earth. One built on the legacy of western tankers, half a dozen wars, and now the elimination of the Grimm: the American M1A3 SEP V1G Abrams Main battle tanks.

The M1A3 was the latest generation of armor vehicles of the Abrams line of tanks. Derived from the Abram X model developed by General Dynamics, the M1A3 entered service in 2027 CE just two months before the Second Korean War began. The US Army 37th Armored Regiment of the 1st Armour division was rushed, alongside other NATO and allied forces, to aid the South Korean forces in their struggle against their Northern Brothers and they brought the newly introduced M1A3 with them. The new Abrams tore right through even North Korea's new M2020 MBTs, with some tankers achieving. 7-1 kill ratio. Over 300 more models would be obtained by the US army and nations like Poland, Australia, and Taiwan before the Brother Gods confrontation.

When Terran forces began operating on Remnant, NATO forces began refitting operating forces more suitable to engage the Grimm. The M1A3 Abrams was refitted with various pieces of equipment to help counter the Grimm and has been repeatedly deployed by NATO forces against the Grimm, forces aligned with Salem, or the occasional White Fang. Designated as the M1A3 SEP (Special Enhancement Package) V (Version) 1 G (G standing for its use against the Grimm), it has proven deadly against either the black monsters of Remnant, the armour forces of Terra, or even various hostile parties of either world.

Weighing in at 63 tons, the M1A3 SEP V1G is 11 tons lighter than it's predecessor the M1A2 SEP V4. The G model replaces the original hybrid diesel-electric power pack with a newly developed hybrid hydrogen-lighting dust-burning power pack. This reduces the need to ship or mine fossil fuels, reduces environmental impacts, and increases the availability of fuel sources. There has also been additional space for drones such as the Switchblade drones. The tank also has specialized sensor equipment that allows it to track Grimm from ten kilometers away. In addition to its original Cohbam and Depleted Uranium Armour, the V1G has also been equipped with a brand new Nano-Shock absorber that has proved effective against Grimm melee and projectile attacks along with a Trophy active anti-missile defense system against Atlassian mass missile attacks. All of these systems run smoothly thanks to the integration of dumb AIs.

Like most Allied Terran tanks, the V1G's main armament is a single light 120mmx570mm Smoothbore high velocity cannon. This has been the mainstay of most NATO and western nations and will remain so for the next decades. Thanks to an auto-loader, the V1G can carry 62 rounds of various types. A standard ammunition loadout for a V1G operating in Remnant is 22 HEAT rounds, 16 Canister rounds, 16 Sabot rounds, and 8 laser-guided rounds. On occasion, the Laser Guided rounds may be swapped out for Israeli M337 Stun rounds for anti-Aura user operations. On the roof of the turret mounts a remote control RS-6 M230LF 30mm autocannon that gives it the firepower as some IFVs. While initially intended for anti-drone and helicopter weaponry, the 30mm cannon has proven more than effective at stopping small groups of Grimm on its own, airborne and ground. For added defense, the V1G has a coaxial M240 mounted next to the 120mm cannon. Some models also add a AI controlled 50 Caliber M2 HMG for additional protection.

More heavily armed than all of Remnant's ground vehicles, carrying more firepower than entire Atlassian army companies, and capable of taking on all but the dangerous Grimm, the M1A3 SEP V1G has seen action from the sand plains of Vacuo, the grasslands of Vale, the forests of Mistral, and even the jungles of Menagerie. It's successes has resulted in Poland, Greece, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Chile, and several other nations in using the M1A3 SEP V1G as their main battle tank on Remnant. Time will tell of the Abrams, and the American tank force, will remain as the dormant armoured force of Remnant and Earth.
