Apparently, without him knowing, Arona had made an account for SCHALE in MomoTalk.

She even posted some pictures and videos of him doing work. Typing away furiously and clearing document after document from the day before.
With every detail as clear as day. Every press of a button, every tap of the keyboard, every flip of a paper and every single time he took off his cap before putting it back on.

...it did not amuse him.

"…"

"Uhm… ehe… uh… sorry, sensei." The mischievous AI rubbed the back of her head.

But as much as it soured his morning, he couldn't be angry with her. So, he soldiered on after releasing quite the exhale and continued on scrolling down.

Apparently, by the ever-expanding web of the internet and technology, some sort of digital diary is a thing most common and part of today's everyday life. People would post anything they desire, whether it's their thoughts, a complaint, commentary, or even sharing a photo or a video for the world to see.

Anything is possible in this realm of a digital diary, and Arona had enabled him, or rather the club to such a world.
A world that he doubted would use that much.

But the thing is, for whatever reason, SCHALE's 'followers' had grown by the thousands just by the creation of the account and the things... Arona had posted.

…Ugh, why does it pan and zoom on everything?

And yet, it had picked his curiosity.

Hans went to the login page. Create account-

"Ahh, sensei?! Are you going to create an account?!" Arona shouted from the tablet. Eyes twinkling with interest and amusement.

He replied with a small nod, in which the AI's twinkle grew brighter. She jumped and fist bumped the air like it's all going as planned. "Yes! Let me help you with that sensei!" She spoke with enthusiasm.

…Hans felt like he had fallen into a trap.

After a few good minutes, with a profile picture as simple as him staring into the camera with a neutral expression and a compact bio that said,

"Hans Günsche. Sensei of SCHALE.
Private conversations are open."

The old dog finally had a MomoTalk account.

"Sensei, you should make a first post!" Arona chirped with joy.

"…About what?" Hans let his fingers hover over the keyboard.

"Anything!"

"…"

HansGünsche SCHALEHans

"Good day. This is Hans Günsche writing my first post regarding the creation of a 'MomoTalk' Social Media account with open direct messages (DMs) for the simple premise of any students in need to contact me. I'll be sure to answer as punctual as I can to answer back without any difficulties or hiccups.

But keep in mind, I'm not the best in the world of managing Social Media and such. Please be patient with me in case I had missed or glossed over any incoming messages any of you send to my 'MomoTalk Private Messages'.

And lastly, my secretary had the foresight to create the SCHALE account with the purpose of providing news about absolute transparent updates and developments in and out of the Independent Federal Investigation Club, SCHALE.

Thank you for reading.

Best regards, Hans."

And enter.

Post successfully made!

"…"

"…"

Silence.

"…Wow sensei, that's… really formal." Arona commented. Deadpanned.

"…You said anything." Hans frowned.

"..."

The silence is painful.

"…W-Well… there's a first time for everything!" Arona grinned.

"…"

After a few good minutes of pure silence, Hans placed his phone back on the table and refocused back on the documents on his desk. With him cutting more than half yesterday, he's sure that his work would be done by lunch.

Or at least his personal quota. Even with his ability to continue working for extended hours, he had doubted even he could finish the documents by the end of the week.

Until then...
Hans cracked neck and grabbing a cup of coffee, Hans let his hands to wander across the keyboard again. Letting his mind to wander across to the task ahead of the mountains of urgent documents he had to review and send back,

Then before he know it, a noise came out of his phone.

PING!

"Oh, sensei look! A new message on MomoTalk!" Arona pointed out.

HinomiyaChinatsu Chinatsuu_

"It's Chinatsu. I'm not sure if you remember me."

"I do. Your skills as a field medic couldn't be forgotten, Chintasu."

Hans immediately replied.

"!"

"…I-I see. Thank you, sensei."

"…"

"U-Um… back then, I didn't have a chance to properly introduce myself to you. I hope to have that chance soon."

"-Chinatsu"

"I see. I'll look forward for such a chance."

Hans thought of a another reply to give, but in the end, he let it drop and continue on typing. That is until Arona gave him an idea.
"Sensei, why don't you take this time to go directly to Gehenna?"

"And plus, you could wander around Kivotos a little. Your work is almost done anyway!"

His hands stopped, and he thought of it.

"Come on, sensei, it's past lunchtime!" His trusted AI pointed to the digital clock.

2PM.

He had been working since 6AM.

"And you didn't have breakfast yet!"

Hans frowned and pointed to the scraps of ration bars.

"Sensei! Those are not proper meals, you know? I mean rice, bread, o-or maybe cake… creampuffs… ehehe…"

…She is drooling.

Hans snapped his fingers, and Arona snapped back to reality.

"O-Oh! Sorry sensei… a-anyway! Use the money the GSC had send you! Go! Now!" Arona pointed. "And don't forget to bring me with you!"

With a nod, Hans saved his work and put the Shittim Chest inside his coat and exited the building.

'Gehenna.'

…There is some truth in Arona's advice. Instead of waiting for a opportunity to open, he could create it himself.

"I've changed my mind. I'll come and visit soon enough. See you later, Chinatsu."

Message sent!

"HEY! YOU! GET BACK HERE!"

A shout came as a brief flash of power came from her gun, as she dashed and fired. Letting a blast of energy to rush inside bullet every time she shot, causing the metal to explode into a cone shaped shrapnel explosion.

Then, with a small shriek of pain, two bodies fell to the ground, as their halo disappeared.

"Finally…" The sharpshooter rubbed her eyes and fixed her long silver hair. Tying them back to the twin long twin tails

"Ugh, you three get them to the infirmary, then to the detention center after they had recovered."

"Yes, captain! Get going everyone!" Three prefect team members ran and immediately do so as the sharpshooter sighed and sat down, reloading her rifle before standing back up and returning on her patrol.

The same old-same old. But why out of all days… why were the numbers of troublemakers increase?! WHY?

That's what she gets for hoping that at least she could catch some R&R for the week, but nope. Her duty never ends. Ugh… let this be a lesson that she shouldn't keep her hopes up.

And yet even at the misfortune she thought of the head prefect and her secretary doing the mountains and mountains of paperwork. Now if she had thought about it, to be honest she'll take this job rather than being stuck all day and even going all nighters for doing the sometimes never-ending piles and piles of papers.

Even Chinatsu isn't safe from the paperworks. Albeit what she got is a little tamer than what her superiors had to do.

And even she knows that at least half of them are useless and just simply being sent on their way because of the damn Pandemonium Society wanted to spite and run them over to the ground.

Seriously…she should count on her blessings.

And now what's next on the list….

Ah… this rumor of a pervert who hangs out in the alleys and trying their hardest to flip up student's skirts.

…What an ugly world.

A tired sigh left her lips as she stood back up and gazed at the burning sun above her. It's going to be summer soon.

And she could use a drink.

With that in mind, she slung over her rifle and walked towards the vending machine only to see…

…An adult, in a manhole below her, staring directly up her skirt.

Flashback.

A few minutes earlier.
3:15 PM.

Gehenna front gate.

"Welcome to Gehenna, sensei!" Arona chirped. Patting herself on the back for giving Hans the correct directions.

Yet Hans didn't reply back as his eyes continue to wander around the academy. His eyes staring blankly at... everything. He almost wanted to pinch himself. Is this Berlin? Or maybe Munich?
…They even got their giant banners, and flags waving with their school logo-

"Um… sensei? You're spacing out."

He blinked as he came to, then he gave a nod to Arona and pulled down his cap. Focus. He's here to first find Chinatsu and maybe to check around the academy and not to reminiscence about the past. Even if the scenery is currently… baiting him to do so. Damn the major for making the short years of service to Millennium the one he found the biggest highlight of his long life.

Not even… the damned War of Rage-

No, that... is a memory best forgotten. A part of his past he would rather avoid and bury underneath the grains of time itself.

His kin is better defeated, anyway.

Now… Chinatsu.

Hans put his cap back on and walked along the streets. Enjoying the scene as he continue to gaze around him. The walk was surprisingly calm. Although he had heard some gunshots here and there.

But in the end, he hadn't found any hiccups. Just some students recognizing him by the videos. In which had swarmed him and asked him for anything and everything. He had no idea what are they referring to, but Arona filled him in. Supposedly quite a batch of the dubbed, "Mysterious Sensei Videos" that are... basically self explanatory. It was him.

Some are with him fighting alongside the students, some with him crushing the tank, the interview, and... even more are the ones Arona posted which had boosted the popularity of such videos.

"Senseii! I said I'm sorry…!"

Hans shook his head as he mentally patted Arona.

After asking for directions to find The Prefect Team (Chinatsu), Hans could see the small jealousy but in the end, they gave what he asked.

With him shaking off the crowd of girls, Hans finally had some time to himself. With a sigh, he sat on a nearby bench and opened a fresh ration bar before he stood back up and went to a vending machine.

Hans went inside his pockets and reached for a coin, then as he pulled it out- the coin slipped and fell into a grated manhole nearby.

"…"

With a feeling of disappointment, Hans opened the gratings and climbed down to search for the coin.

He continued to scrounge up a little with luck. Quickly enough, Hans picked the coin back up. Then with a nod, Hans prepared to leave the manhole and-

The sight of jet black undergarments met his eyes.

Flashback ends.

"…Hey. What are you doing?"

A girl with the panties in question called out for Hans directly above him.

The girl has long silver hair tied with black bows in twin tails with bangs covering her left eye.

A gray-colored halo with two circles, and the smaller one is crossed with three points in a triangular pattern, forming a crosshair.

Her uniform is a classic white collared uniform shirt with black-and-white striped cuffs, a black tie with two white chevrons pointing downwards, and decorated with a gold pin on her left chest, and short flowing skirt with knee-high black stockings, and black high-heeled boots.

And to complete her look, she had elven ears, a tail that is like a cartoonish imp or a succubus, and red eyes that match his.

"…"

"…"

"…I suppose I should call the rest of the Prefect Team and let them know that I finally caught the pervert that's been sneaking around."

The long silver haired girl continues to stare down at Hans with clear distain as her own red eyes met his own, and deep within Hans somehow felt like she's not staring at another sentient human being, but it was like she was looking at a living, breathing, and walking garbage.

As much as Hans had faced many foes in his long years, somehow her stare could send shivers down his spine.

"…" With a small sigh, Hans reached up and exited the manhole.

"Manholes were built for one reason only. Why else would you want to open and climb inside one?"

She gritted her teeth. Hans swore he could feel the anger upon the misunderstanding.

"You're obviously going to hide there AND look up the skirt of every girl who walked by!" she shouted and pointed a finger towards the old dog.

"…" Hans shook his head, keeping a cool expression, and showed her the 100 Yen coin as he pointed to the manhole.

"…Are you going to bribe me?"
Hans let out a massive exhale. He shook his head again and rubbed his eyes.

"Speak up then!"

His expression soured, and he shook his head once more. Hans walked up to the vending machine and deposited a larger sum of money instead.

He pressed some buttons and a can of coffee came out as well as a can of grape soda.

He grabbed both of them, then reached for his identification. Offering it to the girl as well with the can of soda.

"…Wait… You're telling me, YOU'RE HANS-SENSEI?!"

A nod. In which the girl sighed, accepted the drink, and returned the ID back to him.

"…Ugh, then why didn't you- oh… right. Yeah, I've heard that you're… a quiet man." She sat and opened the can with a tired expression.

Hans nodded again as he sipped on his coffee.

"…Had they really didn't pay you enough for you to go to these lengths for a single 100 yen coin?" The girl mumbled.

COUGH COUGH COUGH!

"You're alright, sensei?" He nodded again, wiping the coffee on his lips. "…Anyway, what brings you here to Gehenna for a surprise visit out of the blue?"

Hans reached to his phone and showed Chinatsu's name. The girl frowned and shrugged.

"You're looking for Chinatsu? Why?"

He gave a sour look.

"Just asking sensei. And yes, I watched the video of you and… others fight in the DU."

He gave a sigh and opened MomoTalk towards the first message.

"…" The girl looked a little more before sighing.

"Fine. Usually she's on the medical ward or in her office doing paperwork. Don't do anything stupid, sensei."

Hans gave a thumbs up and a nod before he walked away.

"…What a strange man." She commented as she sipped on her soda.

Then Hans stopped walking as a devilish whisper came to his ears.

"…Nice legs."

He spoke out with indifference and he continued on walking… faster.

Her face instantly lit up as slowly it turned to an angry, FURIOUS SCOWL.

"W-WHA-?! I KNEW IT, Y-YOU! ARRGH! DIE PERVERT!" She shouted and chased him all the way before she gave up and shout out in frustration.

And in the middle of it, laughter can be heard from his tablet.

…Hans was a little amused.

"…Haah… Is this ever going to end? All this work piled up… and the others aren't doing anything to help."

A sigh came as a certain fair skinned elven girl carried a tower of papers. Rising high above to almost hide her eyes.

"…Ugh, and it's so heavy too… though that shouldn't surprise me at this point…"

The girl continued to march on, carrying the heavy stacks of documents until an adult came along.

"Huh?"

Hans gave a small sigh and reached to pick almost all the documents with a single hand from Chinatsu's trembling arms.

"?!"

"S-Sensei a-aren't those heavy!? Wait no… w-what are you doing here?"

He reached into his pockets and pointed out the last message he had sent.

"H-Huh? Oh… w-well I didn't expect you to drop what were you doing and rush here immediately."

Hans replied with a shrug and tilted his head. Telling her to lead the way.

"A-At least let me carry half of them-"Hans shook his head.

"Alright. You're offering so… it would be rude for me to turn you down. But… sensei, are you sure they're not heavy?"

Hans replied with a shake of his head.

A gentle smile came to Chinatsu's lips. "Then, thank you. Follow me, sensei, just down the stairs. I promise… it's not that far."

He gave a frown and a nod as the two descended the stairs.

"…This is… quite dangerous." Hans whispered.

Chinatsu's eyes immediately snapped to Hans. "!... I- I well, maybe a little. But I would've managed." She gave a light blush, along with a small chuckle.

"Hehe… You know, now that I think about it… you're the first person to say something like that to me. Thank you."

With a smile, she continued. "As you've noticed, the students of Gehenna have… unique personalities, to say the least."

…Hans thought of the sliver haired girl. He wondered, is she Chinatsu's colleague?

"Many of them would've never bothered with this kind of menial work. They always try to avoid it. So… it often falls to me to get it done." She sighed as the two continued on walking down with their footsteps echoed down the stairs.

Hans sighed and replied with a gentle nod, then he pointed to the paper and then to her.

"Hm? Are you asking whether I'm in charge of doing paperwork? No… I'm the head of the Medical Committee."

A sour look came to his lips.

"Haah… I don't get why a medical officer would've to do this either. Usually, it's… the Head Prefect Hina and the Administrator Officer Ako's job, but… to be honest with you, sensei, their uh… paperwork workload is even larger than this one."

Hans tilted his head.

"Oh, you haven't met them? Well… maybe in time I'll introduce you, sensei. But for today, they're away doing something for the Pandemonium Society."

"A silver haired… girl. Same armband… as yours. A friend?" He asked.

"Hm? Oh! Are you referring to Shiromi Iori?"

Hans shrugged.

"Well if that's the case… Yes, she is part of the Prefect team as a field captain, and a good friend of mine." Chinatsu let out a small smile.

Then a sigh. "And yet, to be perfectly honest, sensei. Sometimes her hot headedness… prove too much trouble than it's worth."

…Yeah, he could see that.

"B-But, don't tell her that sensei! She is… she is still a good friend."

He gave a small smile and a nod. Then the walk continued as Hans continued to carry the documents effortlessly.

Chinatsu stole glances here and there before she spoke something.

"…You know, sensei… I wish we had more people to take care of this work. And yet, if no one does it, then it'll just keep piling up."

Chinatsu looked away and a pained smile came to her face. "…Though maybe this kind of work suits someone as boring as me… haha…"

A hand fell on her shoulder. Squeezing it gently.

"…I wouldn't… call you boring. You're… quite kind."

Hans spoke gently. Earning another flustered look from Chinatsu.

"W-What?! E-Excuse me?! Um.. I-I must've blacked out for a second b-because you couldn't have possibly talked about me- Most importantly, I should've apologize for taking your time like this- um-"

"W-We should hurry." Chinatsu immediately hurried down the stairs, and Hans immediately followed. Keeping his arms steady on the piles of documents.

And after a few good minutes of rushing down the stairs, they reached their destination. A simple office with stacks and stacks of documents and books lying around.

"Here we are, sensei. Thanks for the help. You can leave the stacks-" Hans patted her shoulder and shook his head.

"Huh? Y-You want to help until it's done? B-But… why..?"

Chinatsu fumbled before she regained her composure.

"I'm not sure what to say… no one's ever offered something like this before…"

He simply shrugged, and a smile came to her lips "…Hehe… that's nice of you to offer, but I couldn't agree to that… the last thing I want to do is to inconvenience you…"

With a shake of his head, the man up and entered the room. "W-Wait…!" Hans placed down the documents with a thud and separated half of the stacks equally, half to him and half to her.

"S-Sensei..."

Hans gave a light smile and cracked his knuckles, in which Chinatsu replied with a small giggle. "Alright. Then… I'll be counting on you, sensei."

And thus, the two continued on working on the documents. With Hans there, the two somehow had a good working synergy to speed up the process.

Chinatsu organized the documents, and Hans reviewed it before passing it back to her for finalization and billing it to the Pandemonium Society.

And with that, the documents are done swiftly without any hiccups along the way.

"I'll admit this, sensei… today's work has been… less tedious with you here."

"I won't ask you to help me every day, but… if you're up to it… I may turn to you if you aren't too busy. That'll… give us a chance to catch up."

A light blush came to her cheeks.

"I'll… I'll be looking forward to it."

With that, the two went on their separate ways.

'It's a full moon.'

Hans thought to himself as he looked upon the endless seas of stars right above him. This habit would never leave him, it seems. No matter where, or when in the hours of the night, just by gazing at the stars and the moon…

It soothed him. Even for just a moment.

That was enough for the old dog.

He reached into his pockets for a ration bar and-

…No. He felt like he should treat and pat himself on the back.

Both because he wanted to feel proud of himself and because he didn't want Arona to scold him regarding his eating habits. Even though he didn't see where the problem was, food is food.

…Even if he had disliked the taste and the blandness of a ration bar. How did he still have so many was beyond him. Maybe it's a small link to his life before? It doesn't matter, anyway. In the end, he yearned for something more.

Maybe he could go to a good restaurant or a fast-food joint… oh, he had seen a certain advertisement about… then, as Hans continued to walk towards SCHALE with that thought in mind… a convenience store caught his eye right next to the building.

Angel 24

Huh. How hadn't he notice that before?

With curiosity, Hans entered the store. With the ding of a bell, the door slides open, signaling a customer, and yet the lone receptionist was still focused on her phone.

"So bored…"

She has long, straight blonde hair, with the bangs parted in the middle and tied with ribbons behind each ear, making her forehead seem especially pronounced complete with light blue eyes.

Her uniform consists of a polo shirt-style blouse, a striped bowtie and a perfect blue apron with the store's name on it.

And her halo is a twin white-colored circle with four shapes coming out of it, forming a crosshair with a smaller circle inside it, and inside the smaller circle was a small three-dimensional diamond.

As Hans came near to her, she jumped in surprise.

"W-Woah! S-Since when you- a-ah! I-I mean- w-welcome…! to Angel 24… c-cus… wait, H-Hans-s-sensei?!" She stumbled on her words as a faint tinge of embarrassment came to her cheeks.

"Uh- u-um… I-I'm-" She clears her throat. "…We-welcome! S-Sensei…" She whispered. Her eyes darted away to not look at the man right in the eye.

A light chuckle came to him as he gave a polite nod.

The interior was clean, with simple white and light blue mixed together in a charming decoration.

And like the common stores he had seen, they had has everything one needed for a common day to day living basis. Including… ammo, guns, and- is that a M24 Stielhandgranate?

…He shouldn't be surprised. He had seen ammo and flashbangs vending machines and yet it still boggles his mind.

Let's just… put it in the back of his mind and continue on what he's here for. A simple, fast meal he could enjoy.

"Oh sensei you're finally getting food! Hm… how about a bento set?" Arona came back to life.

'…The what n-'

"That one!" Arona pointed out in which Hans picked.

"Beef yakiniku and chicken katsu bento set."

Hans simply narrowed his eyes. But… it does look like something he would like. Especially if it's about meat.

With that in mind, he picked that one as well as a random one that caught his eye. A little something about pork. And with that, he went to a cooler and picked two cold large bottles of water.

…One said sparkling. What is that? Anyway-

Hans walked to pay for his groceries, that is until his eye met a girl waiting for the receptionist to scan her items. She had this… unique black and white hair, and an aura that would deter people from staying away from her or to call her out as a delinquent.

Yet, Hans thought of something else.

"...T-That would be.. 15 yen." The girl paid for her groceries, glanced at Hans, gave a polite nod and left.

…Yes, definitely different.

With that, Hans went to pay for food.

Beep.

"…"

Beep.

"…"

Beep.

"…"

She is visibly sweating.

B-beep.

"…"

Okay, she is trembling Is she okay?

Hans reached to her, and she jolted with a small shout.

"E-Eep! S-s-s-sensei?!" She continued to tremble and Hans gave a concerned look.

"U-Um... a-are you worried about me?" A nod.

"O-Oh… I'm- I'm fine haha… it's just… y-you staring at me… A-Ah!" She whimpered out as she looked away. Hans' really had… that aura of menace.

With that in confirmation Hans nodded. "…Apologies."

"E-Eh… Don't a-apologize! Um… it's just I'm… a little… f-forget about it! Um… h-here's y-your receipt!"

She immediately changed the subject, and gave Hans the stroke of paper. A small frown formed on his lips as he paid the amount.

"…Payment c-confirmed. T-Thank you for shopping here, s-sensei." She whimpered out and Hans gave a small sigh.

His hand went to her shoulder and he gave a small gentle squeeze.

"…Thank you. I'll… be around…?" He tilted his head.

"..S-Sora." She gave a tiny smile.

"…Hans. So long." He gave a simple nod and walked away with his groceries. Leaving Sora to melt down the counter with her heart beating on mach 5.

"…Hans-sensei. Next time don't stare at people that much." Arona scolded.

"…"

"Well, anyway! Let's enjoy the food!"

"…You mean I. How… can you eat?"

"Rude! Let me show you later!"

And thus, the day ends without any further incident.

Only the fact Hans was utterly shocked when Arona teleported one of his bentos and ate it inside the tablet.

Leaving a little for Hans.

...Oh well.
