"Incoming!"

Godzilla fired at several masers, turning the area into a small inferno.

Several infantry rockets hit his side. As Godzilla scanned for the shooter, an airborn maser hit his snout. Several fighters and ASTOLs flew over, bombarding him.

Godzilla fired at them. A trail of smoke appeared from one of the jets, which pitched down while its pilot bailed out. Its companions counter attacked, acting as backup fro the ground masers.

Izuku grit his teeth. They had to get that transmitter down soon, because it was taking everything they had to get him to the bay once.

Ochako, Tsu, Tailman and Kazama entered the final room. A two-meter cylindrical device was propped against a back wall with several buttons and switches along a control panel and a bright red light near the top.

The Psionic Transmitter. Fortunately, a small one. No space monsters this time.

In front of the transmitter sat two Villains One wore furs with bracers on his wrists, looking like a big game hunter. The other wore a bodysuit with a gasmask and sat atop a pile of black sand. At the Heroes' entrance, both stood.

"They made it through," said the Hunter.

Gasmask nodded. "Gonna have to kill them.

The Heroes took up fighting stances. "Surrender," Tsu said. "If you give up and tell us what you know, we'll put in a good word for you. It might even reduce your -"

"Shove it," Gasmask said. "We both know that the courts will want a pound of flesh for what we did here. Not that we care. Seeing your precious order burn was well worth it."

The Hunter nodded. "Give up and we'll kill you quickly.

So much for negotiation

Three. Two-

The Hunter lunged forward, stabbing his spear at Tsu's stomach.

Tsu leaped over the spear, aiming a kick for his head. The Hunter leaned sideways, avoiding the kick, then grabbed her by the throat. "A frog huh? Not the best game, but it'll do!"

"Tsu!" Ochako lunged at the Hunter, but the other Villain waved his hands. The black sand rose from the ground, forming several dense balls which flew at Ochako and Kazama. Ochako narrowly avoided the sandballs, one of which smashed into a concrete pillar, cracking it.

Better avoid those.

Kazama ducked around the balls, then drew his pistol and fired at the Transmitter. A sheet of black sand leapt up, blocking the bullets. Kazama then shot at Gasmask. The sand protected him too.

Looks like we're doing this the hard way.

Ojiro slammed his tail into the Hunter, freeing Tsu so she could kick him in the face. The Hunter flew backward but landed on his feet. "Thanks", he said with a chuckle. "I needed that."

They barely had time to blink before he was on them.

Gasmask formed his remaining sand into tentacles, whipping them at Ochako and Kazama. Ochako took to the air, bouncing off the walls to avoid the tentacle's grasp. She pulled a lead ball from her belt and threw it at Gasmask. One of the tendrils wrapped around her arm. Ochako managed to release her quirk on the ball just before the tendril swung her at the wall.

The ball hit Gas Mask in the stomach, knocking the wind out of him. The tendril throwing Ochako froze. Ochako tore herself free and kicked off the wall.

Gasmask threw several sandballs at her. Ochako weaved through the air, using her grapplers to pull herself where she needed to go. Pain exploded from her side as a sandball grazed her, sending her skidding on the floor. Ochako threw herself into the air just before several sandballs crushed the ground.

She gracefully landed a meter away while Gasmask reformed the tendrils. Ochako dodged one, then kicked off another. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed the sand balls hovering off to the side, doing nothing.

The tentacles gave up, causing the sandballs to dart at her, Ochako returned her gravity, dropping below them.

Meanwhile, Kazama had gotten through Gasmask's defenses and threw a kick at him. Gasmask raised a sand shield. Kazama's leg broke through, nearly hitting Gashimask in the face. Before Kazama could follow up, the shield fell away and a tendril wrapped around Kazama's waist, throwing him into the wall.

Ochako frowned. He's alternating between the sandballs and tentacles, not mixing them.

His constructs must require concentration. Between the two of us, his shields and his multiple techniques, his focus is divided.

Tsu ducked another stab, only for the Hunter to slam his spear into her like a bow staff. Ojiro ducked the spear, using his tail to sweep out the Hunter's legs. Ojiro tried to grab him, but the Hunter warded him off with a kick.

The Hunter leaped to his feet but Tsu slammed into him with both of hers. The Villain flew into the wall. Again he got up. He charged at Tsu, who hopped to the ceiling just before his arm burrowed into pillar behind her.

This wasn't good.

"Tailman, he seems to be getting stronger from our hits!"

"You're right Froppy! Minimal force only!"

Ojiro switched styles, fighting defensively. He dodged kicks, redirected punches, and used the Hunter's momentum against him while Tsu lashed out with her tongue.

Finally, Ojiro got ahold of the Hunter's arm and judo threw him. Tsu leaped down and wrapped her tongue around The Hunter's torso, lifting him into the air. The Hunter struggled, but could not break her hold. The'd done-

The Hunter then took off one of his bracers and stabbed it into Tsu's tongue.

Tsu cried out. She dropped the Hunter, retracting her tongue to find two puncture wounds. She looked at the Hunter, who smirked as he raised his hand, revealing two identical wounds in his wrist. Was that bracer stabbing him?!

The Villain took out a bottle of rubbing alcohol and dumped it on the wound. He hissed, then grinned even wider.

It wasn't their attacks that made him stronger. It was pain.

Tsu cried out, "Tailman-!"

"I see it!"

As they avoided his next attacks, it became clear. Their quirks weren't the best suited to this. They needed to take him down in a way that made his strength useless.

They needed Ochako.

Ochako doveaway from a sandball only for one of the tentacles to snake around her leg and slam her into the wall. Gasmask tried to throw her again, but a frog-like tongue to wrapped around his leg.

"What th-"

Tsu yanked Gasmask's feet out from under him, then leapt at him for a kick. "Uravity! Switch!"

Gasmask blocked her kick with a sandshield. The Hunter aimed his spear to impale Tsu, but

Ochako fired her grappler into the Hunter's face. He cried out, grabbing his face before glaring at her.

"Pain makes him stronger!" Tailman said. "You need to float him!"

Ochako nodded. "Got it!"

She ran at the Hunter. He tried to stab her, but Ochako went slid under the spear, leaning back as it sailed right over her. She reached her hand out. The Hunter leaped back.

Tailman grabbed the Hunter and tried to put him in a hold, but the Hunter easily broke free and swatted him away. Ochako tried to slap The Hunter, but the his spear forced her to leap away with her quirk.

Kazama tried to intervene, kicking a sandball at the hunter. However, before he could reach him a tendril wrapped around his leg and threw him away.

The Hunter charged to punch Ochako, but Tailman blocked the attack with his tail. Ochako lunged. The Villain leapt back, barely avoiding getting floated. The Heroes attacked in tandem, Tailman working the defense, protecting Ochako as she tried to float the Hunter.

Finally, Tailman grabbed the Hunter's arm, while Ochako slammed her palm against his chest.

Yes!

Unfortunately, the Villain kicked Tailman and Ochako away, using the force to float up to the ceiling.

Damn it Newton!

He kicked off. Ochako and Tailman dove to both sides as he slammed into the ground. He leaped off again. The Hunter bounced around several times, attacking them like a human pinball. Finally, Ochako pressed her hands together, returning his gravity. The Hunter fell to the concrete floor.

Maybe-

He got up and rolled his shoulders, and chuckled.

Never mind. This could take a while.

Tsu and Kazama went on the offensive. She leaped around Gasmask's blows, waiting for an opening while Kazama barreled forward, jumping around Gasmask's defenses like they were a deadly obstacle course.

Unfortunately, the Villain had gotten very good at raising his shield whenever Kazama got close. Frankly it was getting annoying.

Finally, one Kazama's kicks landed before shield had fully formed, letting it break through. Gasmaks staggered backward, clutching his mask. He shook with rage. "How…HOW DARE YOU!"

Sand wrapped around Kazama, encasing him in a twisted chrysalis. There was a tear in the Villain's mask, where Tsu saw his eyes glaring with hate.

While he focused on Kazama, Tsu rolled up her sleeve, secreting her stinging mucus. She dipped her tongue into it.

"Sand Coffin," Gasmask said.

Tsu's tongue lashed out. He threw a halfhearted attack to stop her. She pretended it worked, stopping her tongue a meter or so away.

"Sand-AHHH!"

Tsu flicked her tongue, sending the mucus into his eyes. Gasmask clawed at his face, dropping Kazama.

Kazama loaded his pistol and opened fire. The Villain raised another shield. He sent his sandballs at Kazama, but he easily dodged, even kicking one out of the air.

That's it!

"Kazama, do exactly what you just did again! From the shooting to the end!"

Kazama raised an eyebrow, then did as Tsu asked. He fired his gun, but Gasmask used a tendril to knock it away. In the process he lowered his shield. Kazama spun with the momentum of the hit and punted one of Gasmask's own sandballs at him.

The Villain had just enough time to look shocked before diving to the floor. Tsu hopped forward and slammed her leg into Gasmask's side, sending him into the air.

Tsu caught him with her tongue, ending the fight.

With Gasmask gone, Ochako lunged for the Psionic Transmitter.

The Hunter went to cut her off, jabbing his spear forward. Ochako blocked it with her Urarakawrists letting Tailman sweep out the Hunter's feet.

Ochako reached to float him, but the Hunter ripped off his other wrist brace, jabbing it at her.

Ochako leaped backwards. She somersaulted in the air and kicked off the ceiling. Tailman and Kazama put the Hunter in a hold. He broke free and looked up.

Too late.

Ochako slapped the Hunter's face. As the Hunter's feet left the ground, Ochako spun him around, leaving him helpless in the air, unable to reach anything. While the others dealt with him, Ochako landed right in front of the transmitter, picked up Kazama's gun, and shot it three times.

The red light at the top shut off.

Ochako smiled. It was over! They'd-

The transmitter started to smoke, a high whine coming from it.

Ochako stepped back, her eyes widening a split second before the transmitter exploded.

"They destroyed it. Sooner than I expected."

"Man, and here I was hoping for another Battle of Accra. Oh well, I'd say it did more than enough, right?"

"Indeed X. Indeed."

Yui was close to panicking. Akatani wasn't getting better. He was getting worse. Practically every block he complained about his headache. He wanted to rest, but Yui's begging kept him moving.

Even worse, sometimes she didn't know if she was moving further or closer to Godzilla. She needed to think of something, and fast.

She fidgeted with her hoodie, trying to come up with a solution. Her fingers passed under her shirt to feel her-

She was idiot. "Akatani, hang on! I'm gonna grow giant again and carry you!"

He looked at her. "I thought your quirk didn' work anymo."

She blinked. "Huh? Why'd you think that?"

"Because why wouldn' you use't earlier?"

Yui huffed. "Oh hush and get ready."

She took off everything but the stretchy gymnastics outfit Mom gave her for whenever she used her quirk. She handed her clothes to Mikumo then grew to her giant size. She tenderly picked up her companion and started running.

She hoped she was going further from danger, not closer to it.

"Move! Move!"

Mina and her group raced away from their spot. For a moment, Godzilla's eyes fell on them. As she rounded the corner, Mina's own yellow eyes locked with his, waiting.

Godzilla turned away, launching his atomic breath at someone else.

Mina sighed. That was close.

They returned to the bikes, where a jeep delivered a new supply of ammo. Within minutes they were on the road again. The street was blocked, so went around, meeting another group. Tchujimori and Midoriya's, to be exact. For a moment, Mina felt like she did on her first Work Study whenever other Pros showed up.

Soon the groups dismounted. "Get ready!" Tchujimori said.

"Wait!"

They turned to Midoriya, who was staring intently at Godzilla.

"All units hold fire!"

Godzilla had turned away, focusing on the Shibuya area. After several seconds he shook his head, then kept resumed his march.

"They did it," Midoriya whispered. A grin spread over his face. "They did it!"

Mina said, "Are you su-"

"Attention all units, the Psionic Transmitter is down! I repeat, the Psionic Transmitter is down! Throw the bastard out!"

Relief filled Mina. "Never mind!"

The Heroes had done it. They had a chance! Time to throw this asshole out of their city!

Izuku spoke into his comms. "Aim to miss as much as possible! Avoid riling him!"

Godzilla lazily chased the masers as their beams danced around him. Due to the transmitter no longer rioting his emotions, Godzilla had calmed considerably. He hadn't even bothered charging his atomic breath.

This wouldn't last, but Izuku wanted to keep it up as long as possible.

Come on...

Godzilla's tail smashed into a building, inadvertently sending rubble at a nearby infantry group. However, he still hadn't attacked.

Come onKeep going…

Mina watched as Godzilla kept moving, not attacking them. He veered off course, so a maser grazed his stomach. Godzilla's glared swept for the offender, but he didn't prepare his atomic breath.

The work was mostly the same, but it felt so much easier. This felt calmer when they weren't wasn't staring down nuclear death every other second.

They got into position, waiting for him to pass. As she knelt down, Mina brushed against Emoto.

"Hey! Watch it!"

"Sorry."

"Whatever!"

Mina's brow twitched. Normally she'd brush off this sort of rudeness off but she'd had a long night and her fuse was near its end. "Hey Emoto? What did I ever do to you?"

He gave her an incredulous look. "Seriously, you Heroes-"

"No. What did I ever do to you? As in, me as an individual?"

He opened his mouth, then snapped it closed. He looked down his scope, saying nothing.

Soon Godzilla passed and they had to move to another spot.

A maser left cover. Godzilla's spines flashed.

Izuku's gaze darkened.

Godzilla scanned an alleyway for enemies as he passed it.

Izuku warned the others, the honeymoon phase was about to end.

Several masers fired around Godzilla. His claws gripped a building, forming a fistful of rubble. He scanned for opponents. A group of rockets hit Godzilla's leg. He swung out his arm and threw it at the alley they came from.

The alleyway was completely pulverized. Izuku had no idea what happened to the soldiers there. He only knew one thing.

The calm was over.

The hard part begins again.

Ochako was…alive?

How-

Kazama.

He'd tackled her away, shielding her from the blast. Kazama let go of Ochako, standing up and offering her his hand. "You hurt?"

Ochako grabbed his hand, shaking her head. She was fine. She was alive.

Tsu and Tailman rushed to her, relief written all over them..

Kazama glared at the remains of the transmitter. "Booby trap," he snarled. "To hide their work."

Soon the door opened and the other Heroes streamed through. Everything became a blur as Ochako recited the Villains' quirks, got checked for injuries, and was taken topside.

The moment they let her go, Ochako took to the air. She grappled from building to building, following the distant explosions. She was aching, exhausted, but not finished. Not yet.

First, she had to help Midori.

That X and Mifune dialogue was written less than 5 minutes before posting. I wanted to show their reaction to the transmitter being destroyed.

The transmitter's gone, but the battle's far from over! The final Hero/Villain fight was fun to write! Now Ochako's joining the battle with Godzilla.
