The Pogues were regrouping at the Chateau. Dallas is sitting in between JJ's legs, which definitely garnered some questions from both Kie and Pope.

The mood quickly turned sour when John B returned with the Kook princess herself, Sarah Cameron.

To say that both Kiara Carrera and Dallas Hyland are pissed would be the understatement of the world.

"No effing way! You brought her here? So what? She's in on this now?" Kie refuses as Dallas is glaring very harshly at Sarah while she continues to rant.

John B then looks over at Pope and JJ, too afraid to even look in Dallas' way. Pope shrugs. "Look, all I care about is her cut comes out of your share." JJ tells John B. Dallas thinks differently.

"Why should she get a cut? She's already rich enough as is!" Dallas points out.

"You know, I don't remember taking a vote." Kie continues. Dallas raises her hand. "Same here."

"This is our thing. A Pogue thing." Kie emphasizes, causing Sarah to glare at her.

"I gotta say, I'm just a tad uncomfortable with all of this." Pope speaks up.

"Thank you!" Kie tells him as Dallas pats Pope's knee in appreciation.

"When are you not uncomfortable?" John B asks.

"I dunno. I rode here on JJ's bike pretty comfortably." Pope defends himself. "It's true. Most relaxed I've ever seen him." JJ agrees with what Pope said. "That's cute, guys." John B mutters.

"You know we, especially Dallas over here, were all extremely comfortable until you brought her." Kie tells him, her resentment against Sarah not wavering in the slightest.

"Stop talking about me like I'm not here!" Sarah lashes out at Kie.

"Then leave."

"You can't handle it, there's the fucking door!"

Kie and Dallas tell her off. Sarah then looks over at John B. "I told you." she scoffs out.

"Told him what, exactly? That you're a liar?" Kie questions.

"No, no, she can't be a liar, babes. For her to do that, she would have to spread word shit behind your back." Dallas snarks.

"No, that you and Dallas are shit-talking bitches." Sarah defends herself.

While Sarah and Kie were arguing (with Pope betting his money on Kie), Dallas went from sitting on the ground to lunging at Sarah. "You know what? Let me at her!" Dallas snarls, however JJ's arms are wrapped around her waist to hold her back, using all of the strength that he can muster.

"Dallas! Money's on Dallas!" JJ grunts out as Pope is also helping him in holding her back.

"You are such a bubble-wrapped hypocrite!" Dallas yells at Sarah.

"Everybody shut up!" John B yells out. JJ now has Dallas in his lap, but she's not fighting him anymore to get at Sarah's throat. Dallas' glare, on the other hand, hadn't lightened up one bit, in fact it might have been harsher than ever before.

"Kie, Dallas, you two are my best friends, right?" John B points out to the two before turning to Sarah.

"And Sarah, you're…" John B was about to say, but is stumbling over his words. "You're my…"

"Say it." Sarah encourages.

"You're my girlfriend." John B confesses.

"Ohh…that's new." Pope chimes out.

Dallas lets out slow claps. "Congrats, John B. You're the other man." she sarcastically tells him before turning to Sarah. "Oh, how's Topper, by the way? Fight wise, I believe that's 2 for me and 0 for him, right?"

"She's your girlfriend now?" Kie asks in disbelief as Sarah went back to glaring at Kie, not paying one mind to what Dallas had just said. "What was all that talk about you were just using her for information? Get a map, cut her loose."

Sarah then turns to John B, who is not looking her in the eye. "You said you were using me?" she asks in disbelief.

"No." John B lied, however the other Pogues rebuffed that lie.

"I'm trying to make us rich here. Do I look like the type of person to fall for Sarah Cameron?" Dallas badly imitates John B before glaring at him. "Stop fucking lying."

"Look, love just walked in, okay?" John B defends himself. "I didn't expect it. It just– it kind of happened."

"Oh, vomit." Kie scoffs.

John B then turns to Sarah. "And I'm not gonna deny it. Right?"

"Oh, that's corny." Pope comments, fake retching.

The brown haired boy then turns to JJ and Dallas. "It's like what happened between you two." he says, pointing at the reckless couple.

"Okay…" JJ was about to say, but Dallas was not having it. "That is completely opposite. I am not with someone who spreads lies and bullshit all over the island."

"Look, cut the bullshit, John B. If she's in, I'm out." Kie tells him.

"House rules, KiKi. If you're out, I'm out." Dallas supports.

"Guys, I'm not doing this." John B tells them.

"At some point, there has to be a decision." Dallas tells him.

"You are gonna decide." Kie states, adamantly. "I can't!" John B tells her.

"I'm very interested, actually. Us or her?" Kie asks.

"All." John B replies, nonchalantly.

The commentary from JJ and Pope was muffled for Dallas as she tried to fight back tears. She tries to be tough, she really does, but the events that happened last year made her a shell of a former self.

"We've been friends since the fourth fucking grade, JB. Th-Though you knew what happened, you still brought her along?" Dallas inquires, the tears still welling up.

"Dallas…" John B was about to say but was cut off.

"You knew what happened to me after her brother fucking raped me! And you know how Kie and I feel about her!" she cries, pointing at Sarah. "Glad to know all these years of friendship mean nothing to you when it comes to a girl, who has a boyfriend, mind you, that you barely even know."

Dallas can taste the saltiness of her tears as she storms out of the Chateau. What Dallas failed to notice is how shaken up Sarah was when she was spouting her word venom towards her.

Throughout the past several days, she had a lot to think about. And a good majority stems from what happened with both Kie and Dallas.

At Midsummers, she felt this sense of longing when those five ran off into the night. She wanted to be a part of that spectacle. She admired that they indeed do not give a damn about what anyone thinks about them. They didn't seem superficial or shallow like a lot of her friends within Figure Eight.

"It'll be cool, right?" Sarah speaks up. "I'm gonna leave. Gonna let y'all chat. Let me know." she adds in as she gets up from her spot on the couch and leaves through the side door.

"I'd just like to say, you handled that beautifully." JJ chimes in, sarcastically, giving him a dirty look before going out the front door to chase after Dallas. Pope also gives John B a glare of his own before going after Kie.

JJ is lucky that Dallas didn't live far away from John B. "Dally!" he calls out, but she doesn't turn to face him. When he caught up to her, she was breathing rapidly and her hand was clutching her chest, as if she was trying to control her breathing.

JJ guides her into her house and into her room, making her sit on her bed. He was then guiding her to take deep breaths, and with that, her breathing became more shallow and steady.

Once she doesn't feel like she's drowning, she engulfs herself into a hug with JJ. "Please don't leave me" she tells him, almost as if she's reverting back to her former self and on the verge of passing out.

"I'd be crazy not to. You know I'll always choose you." JJ tells her quietly as she is lulled to sleep. He turns on the radio and puts in one of Dallas' customized mixtapes and plays it, knowing that she needs some kind of background noise to help her sleep.

As soon as JJ got back to John B's house, Pope had entered the house as well.

"What'd she say?" John B asks Pope about Kie, tossing a bottle of water to him. "That you're an idiot." Pope responds.

"And Dallas?" John B asks JJ, hesitation very heavy in his tone.

"She had a fucking panic attack." JJ curtly responds as he goes into the fridge for a beer. "It's a no-brainer. You're picking Kie and Dallas."

"Look, I can't make a decision." John B defensively tells the two other guys.

"So what? We're just dead in the water because you're pussy-whipped? We can't do this without those two, and you know it." JJ points out.

No way is he putting Dallas into that situation where she has to get along with the sister of the guy who not only makes the Pogues' lives a living hell but who had single-handedly destroyed Dallas.

"And I can't do it without Sarah. Okay? The three of them have to be in on it." John B adds in.

"Well, good luck with that." Pope tells him.

John B gets up from his position from the counter. "You know what? I know this was my fault, all right? But it's our problem." John B admits. "I got a plan, and you two shitheads are gonna help me out."

Throughout the rest of that day, Dallas and Kie spent the night over at Kie's house. Dallas was happy that Kie's parents didn't mind that she spent the night. Come the following morning, Kie sees Pope waiting, so she wakes Dallas up so they can meet up with them.

"Code red!" Pope announces to the girls.

"What the hell is going on?" Kie asks as she and Dallas are making their way down the dock.

"JJ and John B conked out on the marsh. They need a tow." Pope tells them.

"What did those two do this time?" Dallas asks.

"Yeah, and what does that have to do with us?" Kie chimes in.

"It's John B and JJ, Dal. What haven't they done?" Pope responds to Dallas before turning to Kie. "We need you two for mechanical."

Pope then sails away while Dallas props herself on the bow of the boat and it is silent once they reach Heyward's boat up in the marsh. "John B and JJ are up in the alp."

"Can't you guys do anything without us?" Kie asks Pope.

"Yeah, there comes a point where it's becoming a little sad." Dallas chimes in as she followed Kie into the boat.

"What happened?" Kie asks.

"What did you two idiots do now?" Dallas exasperatedly asks.

"Uh, the alternator's, uh, not alternating anymore." JJ tells the girls. "It's not charged." John B tells them.

"Did you check the plugs?" Kie asks.

"No, no. You two should check them." JJ tells them as they swiftly get out of their way.

"I swear, you guys can't function without us." Dallas mutters as she and Kie kneel near the alternator.

The thing is, the alternator is absent of any plugs.

"Uh, is this a joke? There are no plugs, like, at all." Kie told them.

Dallas is now a little suspicious. She should've known how swiftly the guys were to get out of there. Whenever John B and JJ get themselves into some heavy shit, they always follow JJ's motto: deny, deny, deny.

Dallas looks over to see the guys not there. "Kie, they're gone." she tells them.

"Shit!" Kie hisses as the two are about to chase after them, but a voice stops them in their tracks.

"John B, let me out!" the voice exclaimed while there was banging below deck. Kie opens the hatch, only to reveal Sarah.

Dallas immediately caught what was going on. She runs towards the bow and sees that John B and JJ are in the water, swimming away from Heyward's boat. "You fucking assholes! Get back here!" she yells after them.

Kie and Sarah join Dallas as well.

"Are you serious?" Sarah asks in disbelief.

"Are you joking? Get your asses back here!" Kie yells at them.

"We can't. Not till you three figure it out." John B tells them as he gets onto the HMS Pogue.

"I will kill every single one of you." Kie tells them.

"Y-You can't just leave!" Sarah cries out.

"You do know that Kie is gonna let me murder that bitch, you know that right?" Dallas calls out to JJ, pointing at Sarah.

"There's food in the cabin, and JJ rolled a blunt." Pope tells them.

"Hydroponic!" JJ chimes in. "And Dally, I rolled you an extra one just for you."

"This is ridiculous." Sarah hisses out.

'Well, I would rather drown than stay here with you, so…" Kie draws out.

"Fine, be my guest. Maybe you'll finally shut the hell up." Sarah snarks at Kie.

"Do you know where you're even going? You don't know the marsh. You're gonna get lost." Dallas points out, taking off her shirt to reveal the top of her skull two-piece swimsuit.

"I don't care." Sarah tells her as she is getting outside of the boat, getting ready to jump in the water.

"Good luck with the oyster beds." Kie muses out, sarcastically.

Sarah tries to swim after them, but is no match for the boat, which is currently speeding away.

"If they're not coming back for us, they're definitely not coming back for you." Dallas points out.

Later, Sarah is screaming about how she got stung by a jellyfish. However, when Sarah got back into the boat, Dallas realized that Sarah was not being dramatic, as Kie said, but she did make a good point about the man 'o war.

"Hey, guys, you know what they say about curing jellyfish stings?" Sarah asks Kie and Dallas.

"No. Mm-mm." Kie refuses.

"One of you has to pee on me." Sarah continues.

"That's not true." Dallas facts out. "And it's also straight-up nasty."

"I have a better idea." Kie says.

The girls are now on top of the boat while Kie gets out the one blunt that JJ has rolled. "It's for the pain."

"JJ, bless." Sarah breathes out.

Kie lights the joint, taking a few hits out of it before offering it to Sarah, however took another hit.

"Really?" Sarah snarls at Kie before snatching the joint away.

"Go easy on it. It's JJ's cousin's Cripple." Dallas advised as Sarah was taking a hit out of the joint, but then started coughing.

Night falls, and while Kie and Sarah were up, Dallas was sleeping. Kie was keeping a sharp eye on Dallas, knowing of her night terrors.

"Hey, guess what?" Sarah speaks up. "Would you rather…have– I was imagining you like this just now. It was pretty funny. Would you ima– would you rather have nipples for yes or eyes for nipples?"

While Sarah explains herself, not being in the most ideal headspace, Kie looks over at her with a dead stare. "Is this like your first time smoking or something?" she asks.

"No." Sarah claims, but is obviously lying.

"Hey, Kiara…" Sarah speaks up, but Kie cuts her off.

"Oh, my God. Enough of the "Hey, Kiara!" bullshit. Why'd you do it?" Kie asks, cutting straight to the point.

Sarah, on the other hand, is confused about what Kie was talking about. "Why did I do what?"

"The three of us were best friends." Kie starts off, gesturing between her, Sarah, and a sleeping Dallas. "We– we stole beers from your dad's fridge, we watched movies together, we cried about boys. And next thing I know, I'm watching your birthday party happen from Instagram."

"It was one party." Sarah brushes off.

"You invited everybody, even Dallas, except me." Kie points out. Unknown to the two of them, Dallas' breathing was growing shallow. "And you told everybody I was the reason that the party got busted."

"Okay, well, who else would've called the cops?" Sarah asks her.

"You never asked. You just let the rumor go that I was a rat." Kie tells her. It is now obvious to Sarah that the one simple notion of not inviting Kie to her birthday party really affected her. "You were my best friend, and then you ghosted me, and I don't even know why! I mean, really, what did I do?" Kie asks, almost on the verge of tears.

Sarah hesitates before answering. "You liked me. When…people get…close to me, I feel trapped, and…I bail and then I blame them for it."

Sarah then looks over at Kie with a look of remorse. "I'm really sorry…and I miss you. Do you think there's a chance that we could be okay again?" she asks.

"Honestly, I don't know." Kie responds.

"No, please!" they hear whimpering. Kie crawls her way to Dallas, who is thrashing in her sleep. "Get off of me, please!" Dallas cries out.

"Dallas, hey, Dallas!" Kie tries to sooth as Sarah inches towards them, concerned. "What's wrong with her?"

"Ever since that night, she's been having night terrors. There are times where they are quite violent." Kie explains to Sarah as Dallas sits up and wakes up. Tears are streaming down her face as she breathes heavily. She takes a moment to get up from her spot and walk towards the front of the boat.

You know how after experiencing something, the chain of events just seems to click? That is what Sarah's feeling right now.

Everything that Dallas is saying is making sense.

The chain of events goes like this: Rafe's obvious cocaine addiction and how he treats Dallas whenever he was high on it, Rafe constantly changing the story of Dallas "cheating on him", not seeing Dallas for a week after her birthday party, Dallas abruptly transferring out of the academy to Kildare County High School mid-semester, and finally, Dallas' interaction with Topper at midsummers.

Guilt gnaws at Sarah's stomach as she realizes that everything that Dallas was saying has been right all along.

Sarah's horrified gaze, full of realization, glances over at Kie's emotionless gaze. "What you did to me was one thing. What you did to her was inexcusable." Kie points out, pointing over in Dallas's direction.

Sarah just stands up to follow Dallas towards the front of the boat. "Hey." Sarah speaks up. Dallas just gives her a harsh glare.

Sarah internally notes how hard this is going to be, but that is just the consequences of her actions.

Dallas was about to leave that portion of the boat before Sarah spoke up. "I'm sorry."

Dallas turns in her tracks and turns to Sarah, eyes void of any emotion. "For what? You labeling me as some kind of whore or for what your brother actually did to me?" she simply asks, clenching her jaw.

"For everything. There is no excuse for what I did and I should've seen through Rafe's lies. You went through so much, and I should've been there for you. Instead, I just jumped to conclusions. Kiara's right. There is no excuse for what I did." Sarah sincerely apologizes. "Do you think we will ever be fine?" she asks.

"Honestly, right now, I can't forgive you." Dallas tells her, with full honesty. Sarah sighs, sadly, fully understanding why her former friend feels that way.

Dallas can feel her heart beating faster and she starts to take deep breaths. "Because of Rafe's lies and you supporting him, my own mother doesn't believe me. My dad suffers because of my night terrors. Every time I close my eyes, I relive it over and over again. Sure, I'm on medication, but that shit's expensive." she starts to rant.

"After what happened, I just wanted to be dead. I wanted to go to sleep in hopes that I would never wake up." Dallas confesses. Sarah presses her lips together, in hopes to stop the tears welling up in her eyes.

It is hard for Sarah to hear what Dallas has gone through. "I'm sorry. You are so strong. I don't know how you carried on." she chokes out.

"Barely. However, I had family to support me. You know, my dad, the Pogues, the living relatives who didn't jump to conclusions." Dallas tells her.

"What Rafe stole from me is gone for good, and there is nothing that neither of us can do to reverse time. However, thank you for apologizing." Dallas concludes as she makes her way back towards Kie.

Sarah knows that she isn't earning Dallas's forgiveness anytime soon, and rightfully so. But her apologizing for everything she inadvertently put Dallas through is one step towards progress.
