Hello there! It's been a while, hasn't it?
Not much to say, other than the fact that I'm incredibly sorry for being away for so long and that I managed to watch GXK: The New Empire (a bit odd at some places, but still a very well made movie!), here's another chapter for you all to read. But before that:
matthorserider40: Oh trust me, I'm very excited when I get to write that. And I hope you will enjoy it when it's released.
Now, without further ado, let's begin.
Disclaimer: I do not own Godzilla and Kung Fu Panda. They belong to their respective owners.
China, the Valley of Peace
To say that the town that had been created hundreds of years ago was in a mess would be an understatement. Houses destroyed, shops crushed from the creature's weight and the massive hole in the center of the Valley itself. The only establishment that survived the attack was the Jade Palace, home to the Kung-Fu warriors who were the guardians of the town.
For a couple of minutes, the Dragon Warrior, the Furious Five and Master Shifu, plus some of the personnel of MONARCH, were trying to calm down the citizens, while also giving them support, both physical and mental as best as they could.
At the same time, Monique and Miki, with a couple of soldiers, were in the middle of sending a message to the others back in Japan, to explain the situation with what had just happened with Titanus Baragon. They managed to do this by Monique telling Miki on what message to give, then with her sending the message along to another psychic, receiving information and then repeating.
Just as they were about to send some more news, one of the soldiers entered the tent that the group was in. Realizing who was there, Monique focused her attention on him.
"Ma'am, the warriors of the town would like to speak with you now concerning…of what just has happened," The soldier said, trying to calm himself in the process. After all, they had just barely managed to defeat a Titan of epic proportions, so it wasn't really a surprise for so many to be frightened.
For a moment, the French captain thought for a moment, thinking of the possibilities of what they shall know, what will be revealed to them. Just before the soldier could say anything else, she looked back at him with a nod, signifying that they could come in. Saluting to the leopard, he went back out to alert the Kung Fu trainers and master that they could come inside the tent.
She sighed to herself, before looking back at the rest of the group. "Everyone other than Miki, leave and help the innocents to settle in and calm them down. They need it, for all our sake."
Saluting to their leader, she saw them leave the makeshift tent, before sitting down on one of the chairs that they brought along the way to calm herself down. The psychic fox walked over to the worried leopard.
"Out of all people, I wasn't expecting you to be like this, Dupre-San," The fox said, trying to lighten up the mood in any way she could.
The person in question looked over at Miki, chuckling in response. "Well, you know what they say: in the most dire of situations, people reveal their true self to others…or something like that."
Before Saegusa could say a sarcastic response, the soldier entered, going to the side while saluting, with the others along with him: the mantis, the snake, the monkey, the crane, the tiger, the red panda and the black and white panda, who could possibly answer one of their questions. As soon as they entered, the soldier walked away, knowing that he was not needed in this matter.
"Greetings," Miki smiled. "Thank all of you for coming. We both understand that you might have some questions regarding the creature."
"That should be a bit obvious," Mantis remarked to his friends, chuckling before stopping after receiving a glare from Master Shifu.
Master Shifu cleared his throat. "Apologies for my student's behaviour," with the one in question looking as if he did nothing wrong, "But yes: it would be best for you to answer some of our questions."
"And we will give you some as well if needed," Tigress suggested to the MONARCH personnel.
Monique thought for a few moments, before looking at the group. "Very well."
"I guess we should start now," Po replied to the group, before looking over at the two women. "Starting off by saying…what is this "MONARCH" thing you're both part of?"
"MONARCH is…think of it as an organization made of people from different backgrounds who are dedicated to the exploration and study of monsters all around the world, specifically Titans, like the one you saw outside, which we call Titanus Baragon," Monique answered collectedly, not wanting to cause an alarm. After all, other than a few others, this was the first time in a couple of years for information on this to be revealed. But that wasn't what the group was focused on primarily.
"Oh, why didn't I think of that name?" Monkey exclaimed in frustration, growling slightly. "That sounds so much better than "Big Guy"!"
The psychic fox raised an eyebrow. "Did you actually pick that name?"
"Well, technically we didn't know what else we called it, so we just went with it," Viper replied. "Although he is right: Baragon sounds much better."
"I feel like everyone agrees with that," The Warrior of Black and White said, "Which leads me to my next question: how many of these "Titans" are there? And more importantly, who are they?"
Miki glanced at the leopard, receiving a nod, before looking back at the Kung Fu warriors. "As of right now, there are a total of 27 Titans on Earth…and counting."
"Wait, wait, wait…" Crane interjected, failing to stay calm. "You're saying that there are 27 of these…things? And maybe even more?!"
"While it might seem frightening, keep in mind that these beings have been in hibernation for maybe thousands of years, maybe even in the millions. So, just be glad that there wasn't more than one of any of these Titans attacking this place." Monique answered smoothly, silencing the Kung Fu trainer as he began to contemplate the topic.
"Millions of years…and we never knew that they were here," Tigress muttered out loud. "You'd think that there would have been stories about them."
"And as for what they are," Miki said, gaining the attention of the others. "Well…you might not believe me, but based on all the texts that we have gathered, they seem to be part of the planet's natural defense system. A way to protect the planet, to maintain its balance. Not all of them, mind you, considering our encounter with Baragon, but the majority of them are."
"And yet how come this one only came out from sleeping for so long?" Po questioned, with a curious tone in his voice. "I mean, it's a bit strange for one of them to only awaken now, don't you think?"
"We believe that they have thrived on the Earth's surface where it was more radioactive than now." Monique remarked.
"And what does "radioactive" mean exactly?" Shifu asked the captain. "Sorry, but we aren't very familiar with this meaning."
"I won't give the details, but think of it as energy that is extremely harmful towards us." Monique answered back in return to the Kung Fu master. "Anyways, like I was saying, they seemed to have existed in that time period, but retreated underground and entered states of dormancy as this radiation declined."
"And since then, there hasn't been another Titan encounter until now I'm guessing?" Mantis spoke up.
If anyone had looked at Miki, they would have seen her wince slightly. "Not…quite."
"And what is that supposed to mean?" Viper asked in confusion. "Are you saying that this has happened before?"
"We shall tell that tale later, but for now, I think we can allow one last question before you can answer some of our own," Monique interjected hastily, not wanting to cause a panic.
"Actually, there is something I do want to know." Po said. "Those weapons you used to attack Baragon…where did you get them from?"
That immediately attracted the attention of Master Shifu and the Furious Five. After all, the only person that had them was…somebody that they still remember to this day.
"Well…have any of you ever heard the name Lord Shen?" The French leopard slowly questioned in return. After all, considering they were far away from Gongmen City, home to the late peacock, surely they would probably not know of-
"Actually, we're the ones who stopped him…well, mainly Po, but we still helped somewhat." Monkey responded calmly, surprising the captain and the psychic, since they weren't expecting that response at all.
"Alright then…" Monique said, thinking in thought of them managing to defeat him, before continuing, "Anyways, long story short, some of the surviving wolves from that battle managed to find our home base, back in Japan."
"Wait, Japan? That's where you're from?" Crane slowly repeated, impressed by how fast they arrived, before apologizing for interrupting. "Sorry, continue."
"Well, once we had encountered them and subdued them, we gave them a proposition: to create more of these 'cannons', as they call them, in return for full freedom and for them to live a life of peace and safety." The captain continued somewhat confidently, "Or, if they would like, to work for us to protect us from any dangers of the Titans."
"And…they just agreed? Like that?" Viper interjected, confused on how the wolves fully agreed with it.
"There was some convincing to do, I admit," Monique responded, remembering the events that took place, "But in the end, they found that the proposition given to them was…acceptable to say the least."
"Well…at least we won't need to deal with them again since they're on our side now." Mantis said, thankful that they won't need to deal with them, with the others agreeing with him.
"And now, I think it would be best for you guys to answer our own questions. Starting off, we'd like to know the history of this Valley. Who knows, perhaps it might help us to know if there are any other Titans around." Miki announced calmly, with a little bit of fear in her voice, where most of the group looked at each other in worry: after all, they didn't want to deal with another one of the monsters, especially after a recent attack from one of them.
"Ooh, can I do it? I know the history of this place like the back of my paw." Po replied before looking at Master Shifu. "I'll be good, I promise!"
The red panda sighed. "Very well. But don't act too erratic. I wouldn't want to disappoint our visitors after all."
"Of course Master." Po said, while bowing slightly, before turning his attention to the MONARCH personnel. "It was first founded nearly 300 years ago by Master Oogway, the creator of Kung Fu."
"So he was the one who created China's fighting technique. Impressive." Monique remarked, with Miki nodding slightly.
"After departing from his home in the Galápagos Islands, he went on a journey of discovery, traveling all around the world and visiting every country until he arrived in China. Oogway stood on a hill overlooking the Valley and knew that he had found the place he would call home for the rest of his life. Wanting to protect those that were considered "soft and weak" from the "hard and strong", Oogway formed the self-defense system of kung fu as a force for good." The Dragon Warrior continued, with a hint of nostalgia in his voice and on the faces of the other Kung Fu fighters, remembering the stories of Master Oogway.
"He worked many years to perfect this system and help make the Valley a safe haven and a peaceful place to live. He helped to form the thousand-mile-long bridge that guarantees safe passage into the Valley, and admitted students under his instruction in learning the art of kung fu," Po stopped for a moment, since it had been a while since he had ever told anyone about this, before pressing on. "But I haven't heard during this time that there were any other Titan sightings."
"He speaks the truth," Master Shifu interjected abruptly, "It seems that there isn't any information about any of these creatures in Master Oogway's scrolls."
"Odd…but thankfully, it helps that the civilians aren't as frightened as one would expect." Miki said, before continuing in confusion. "However, I am a bit surprised by their behaviour. Have they dealt with any other destruction in the Valley?"
"Unfortunately, yes. A matter of two times in fact, from Tai Lung, Shifu's first student, and General Kai, Master Oogway's closest friend," Tigress answered, reminiscing of the events from the past, shivering slightly.
"And how did you stop both of them? More importantly, who?" Monique asked, curiosity in her voice.
"That'd be our very own Po, our very own Warrior of Black and White, or Dragon Warrior as we call him, and master of the Furious Five." Monkey responded, pointing to the person itself as he spoke, in which the panda rubbed his arm in embarrassment.
Suddenly, both of the MONARCH personnel looked at one another, realizing the same thing.
"So that means…" Miki started slowly.
Monique nodded. "I guess so. It's him."
Everyone other than those two looked at them in confusion, some tilting their heads ever so slightly.
"I'm sorry, but what do I have to do with anything?" Po questioned, confusion evident on his face. After all, he didn't know anything except what they had been told today. There can't possibly be anything else…right?
Japan, inside the Sentō Imperial Palace, twenty minutes later
"Serizawa-San, the Emperor will see you now," a servant said smoothly, no stuttering whatsoever. "Considering your…role for the world, I am guessing whatever you need to say is very vital for him to know."
The tiger in question sighed in response. "You could say that. Hope I'm not interrupting anything important."
"Does discussing matters with China seem important to you?" The servant asked, with a smile on his face, before opening the doors to the Emperor's room.
"Point taken," the doctor replied, before going inside, the doors slamming shut behind him.
He quickly looked around, not wanting to spend too much time looking at the scenery, before noticing that Go-Yōzei, a majestic lion, despite being 33 years old was right in front of him, eliciting a scream from Serizawa, causing the Emperor to laugh out loud.
"Was that really necessary?" The tiger grumbled slightly, annoyed at what had just happened. "I have very serious things to talk to you about."
"Well, you have to admit, that was funny. And very good. Didn't know that would happen like last time!" The lion cried out, trying to calm himself down in the process.
Shaking his head in frustration, the tiger muttered in a low voice. "I have news about the incident from China."
After finally finishing his last laugh, the Emperor looked at Serizawa curiously. "Oh? Well, I do hope it is good news."
"Thankfully, yes," the doctor said somewhat patiently. "I would propose that we could walk and talk."
"I agree. Besides, it's been so long since I've had any exercise. And I am a bit tired of writing the letter to the Wanli Emperor," remarked Go-Yōzei, before getting out of the room, with the tiger following after.
After a few moments of peace and quiet, Serizawa began to speak. "So for starters, we managed to get the Titan back to sleep."
"Ah, good. It would have been disastrous if you didn't. Especially when I would need to have many meetings with the other rulers about…what did you officially call it? Barugon?" The Emperor asked, not remembering the exact name.
"It's Baragon. And yes, I am a bit glad as well," the doctor responded, before continuing. "No casualties to report-"
"Thank Kami for that." The lion interjected.
"And, that's honestly it. Not really much to tell, surprisingly."
Stopping to look over at Serizawa, Go-Yōzei hummed for a moment, before sighing slowly. "I am guessing there is at least one thing to mention."
Wincing slightly, the 68 year old tiger nodded. "You can…say that."
"Well, say it. Anything is very vital, not just for Japan, might I add, but for the whole world." The Emperor said, with a sense of authority and power.
"…Saegusa-San has reported that they have found the Warrior of Black and White." The doctor replied after a few moments of silence.
In response, the lion blinked once. Then twice. "Are…are you serious?" He asked in surprise. After all, he didn't know that it would take only a few hours to know where this Warrior would be.
"Incredibly so," the tiger responded hastily. "We've just received word that he was actually there, with something called the Furious Five by his side, along with a Master Shifu when the beast attacked."
"Interesting…" Go-Yōzei responded, musing in thought. "And if I remember correctly, you said that this Warrior was in some sort of text you found. Remind me again what it's about."
Serizawa nodded, about to talk about the subject at hand.
China, the Valley of Peace
"We…found something recently," Miki started, somewhat anxious all of a sudden. "A text containing a prophecy of some sort."
"Prophecy?" Mantis questioned, a sense of curiosity and confusion filling the inside of the tent.
"It was discovered in the Temple of the Moth, one of the sites containing one of the Titans," Monique answered calmly.
"Is it also awake?" Crane interjected hastily, with a worried tone in his voice. "I mean, after what had just happened, it could probably have attracted the attention of others."
"Thankfully, not. Although, don't be mistaken. It hasn't harmed anyone yet, as far as we know," the psychic fox replied, not wanting to cause any panic among the group.
"As much as I want to know more about this peaceful creature," Tigress began, sounding very serious like she usually is, "I feel like it would be best to know what this prophecy says."
"I concur," The red panda said, suddenly looking at the two females with a need for information. "And I think it would be beneficial for all of us to know it."
This caused the group of Kung-Fu fighters to begin to stare at the MONARCH personnel, especially Po. If somehow he's related in all of this, then surely they should know the answers to it.
"…alright. We'll tell you." Monique began, gaining the attention of everyone else. She looked over at Saegusa, before looking at them and sighing.
"It has been foretold," the snow leopard recited, speaking in a way as if she was trying to make things more interesting to the group in front of her. "By an elder of the past…of the return of the Titans of Old and of the future of the planet itself."
"He said that it would begin with the awakening of the Swarm of Death," Serizawa said, intriguing the Emperor even more. "Then of the Fierce King of the Underground."
"But soon enough, something far worse will awaken…The One Who is Many." Monique continued, slightly causing a little bit of worry towards the Kung Fu warriors.
"The other Titans shall hear the calls of this beast, for they will try to destroy our world and every being who is living on it." Serizawa told the lion.
"And only the Warrior of Black and White and the Alpha Predator shall be able to stop him from declaring the destruction of the world." The French leopard stated, causing Po to widen his eyes, as he finally began to realize who she was talking about.
"And from that day forward, it shall spark a new era: an era of coexistence between two unfamiliar, yet still the same species. An Era…of Monsters." Serizawa finished, letting his words linger into the Emperor's thoughts.
The lion would think for a moment, maybe even two, before looking back at the MONARCH scientist. "Well…suffice to say, I am a bit worried about these events of what's to come. Especially since Baragon has already awoken."
"Indeed," The doctor nodded in agreement, having the same thought as well. "And while we have been trying to prepare, the others back at the base have been…discussing another topic at hand."
"About?" Go-Yōzei questioned, curiosity heard from his voice.
"We…we believe that it might be time to reveal the truth. About…all of this," The tiger responded back, saying what he believed to be right. "After Baragon, there might be people nearby who are extremely concerned about what has happened back in China."
"And what will they think after?" The Emperor asked, trying to make the doctor think for a moment. "Once they learn all about this, they might, I don't know, not have a sense of trust in us anymore or…form cults for that matter. This could lead to major repuccursions."
"I know, but…" Serizawa sighed, before responding back. "But at least we'll be more…civil about it, unlike this One Who is Many and his supposed big army of Titans."
The lion was about to say a refute, yet couldn't, as what the MONARCH doctor said was the fact after all. At least they would be more reasonable when talking with the civilians than having them die from colossal beings from a long lost age. As he tried desperately to make himself think that there could be another possible solution, Go-Yōzei realized that this, unfortunately, was the only way. And there was nothing that could be changed about it.
After what seemed like forever, the Emperor finally spoke. "I…I guess you are right. I'll make sure to send the letters to every one of the other rulers. I suppose you better go back to your headquarters. After all, this will be a bit boring after all."
"Guess so. Besides, I do need to prepare myself for the new arrivals," The tiger said, unknowingly confusing the Emperor slightly, before clearing his throat and bowing down slightly. "Farewell, my Emperor."
With a nod from the lion, Serizawa made his way out, exiting from the Palace by way of the wooden doors. Once there was no trace of the doctor, the Emperor sighed, then began to complete his task: hopefully it won't take that long…but he knows it will.
China, the Valley of Peace
To say that they were conflicted on what they had just heard was…surprisingly accurate. After all, they weren't expecting this big prophecy to be straight out explained to them. And the unfortunate thing was that it felt like there were more questions than answers: why is Po mentioned in the prophecy, has this already started, and most importantly, who is this Alpha Predator and One Who is Many? So many questions ran through the Kung Fu warriors' minds, especially the Dragon Warrior. It has been only a few months since that battle with Kai! At least give them a year or something!
Clearing her throat, Miki, who had been all quiet during Monique's explanation, had gotten the attention of the group. "Now, while, I do understand that this is a lot to process-"
"Thought that was obvious," Mantis muttered quietly, getting a stare from Viper. "What? It's true!"
"Keep in mind that," Miki continued, not noticing the small conversation. "While we might have some of your answers, since it's obvious that you do have some questions, we might not be able to give any information on certain details, since frankly, we don't have any."
All was silent in the tent. Then a wing raised from the only flier in the Furious Five.
"Who's this Alpha Predator?" Crane asked, confused as to who it was. "I mean, whoever it is, it must be very important to be in the same prophecy as Po."
"I'd like to know as well," The Warrior of Black and White spoke up, gathering the attention of the MONARCH personnel. "I mean, since I am going to be working with it on defeating this One Who is Many, which I also would like to know who that is as well, it would be nice to get some information on it to get to know him better."
Miki was about to speak, yet stopped as she looked over to Monique, almost as if she was hesitant on something.
"Can I…?" The psychic fox asked in trepidation, worry in her voice, until she received a nod. She then looked over to the fighters, trying to think of a way on how to begin.
"Well," Miki began. "Despite the fact that it seems like Titans act on their own will, the Alpha Predator does have a sense of…control over them, you can say."
"So, it rules over them, making sure they aren't doing anything reckless, I guess." Master Shifu spoke up, his wise eyes looking over the two women.
"In a way, yes." The fox answered, before continuing on. "All the texts that are on him say that he is, by all accounts, a god. Possibly one of the oldest and living beings on this planet."
"That sounds…intense," Monkey responded curiously, wanting to know more about this Titan. "Does it have a name?"
Monique smiled in response. "There are many names to choose from, like the Alpha Predator. But everyone that I have ever worked with has only called it every time. We call it…" Monique stopped, about to say the name of a True King.
"…Gojira."
All was silent, as everyone took the name in. For those working for MONARCH, just the name already made them remember the countless stories that they had heard. As for those who lived in the Valley of Peace, it seemed that whoever this Titan was, it sounded like he was a great warrior who fought in countless battles where lots of lives were lost.
"This name…" Tigress broke the would-be eternal silence, gathering the attention of the rest. "It sounds like this being has had a long life."
"As if he's seen more destruction than anyone else," Viper continued, with a sense of awe in her tone of voice. "And as if he's lost so much."
"True," Po said. "But, I'm still confused. How long has anyone last seen him, considering that we haven't heard of Godzilla before?"
As they waited for the answer, the Kung Fu fighters soon realized that the MONARCH personnel weren't saying anything.
"Uh, you okay?" Mantis asked in trepidation, worried as to whether something had gone wrong.
"Well, no actually," Monique calmed the others down, not wanting to scare them. "It's just that's the first time someone has misaid Gojira."
"Oops," Po chuckled, scratching his head slightly. "Sorry."
"It's alright," Miki spoke up. "Anyways, to answer your question, his last official appearance was around 400 years ago."
"400?!" Crane practically screamed out loud once he heard that. "Why that long?!"
"Well," The snow leopard tried to say. "One of our best doctors, Monsieur Serizawa, believes that Gojira only comes out when the balance of nature has been disrupted by anything that is considered a threat."
"And the last one who fit that exact description was the last time Godzilla appeared I'm guessing," Shifu answered, no hesitation in his voice. "And if I had to think about it, it would probably be this Swarm of Death you mentioned earlier."
"That is correct," The psychic responded, surprised by how intelligent the red panda was. "Once Gojira finished his job, he went back to sea, never to come out."
"But have you found him?" Tigress questioned. "He might still be lurking about, waiting for the next strike."
"The last time we checked on him was in the Pacific Ocean, just a few miles away from Japan." Monique replied back in full honesty. "Which makes things much better, considering the fact that our main base of operations is in Osaka."
"That's…" Po stopped, thinking about what the snow leopard had just said. "Very far away."
"You have no idea." Miki smiled in response.
"And speaking of that, we have…a proposition to speak of." Monique said, confusing those who weren't part of MONARCH.
"That being?" Viper asked, slightly knowing what she would say.
"Based on the prophecy that we have told you," The snow leopard continued on. "We believe that, for the time being, it would be best for all of you to come with us back to our headquarters so that we are more prepared when facing down The One Who is Many."
"But who will protect the Valley?" Mantis asked, worried if any other Titans came to attack his place of safety. "I wouldn't want it to be destroyed again!"
All was silent, thinking on who would be the best candidate for defending their home. Until an old voice was heard.
"I'll stay," Master Shifu calmly responded, not caring about the looks he received.
"Master, are you sure-" Tigress tried to say, before getting a stern nod from the red panda.
"Do not worry, my students. I have the highest hopes for all of you to succeed," Shifu smiled in response, looking over at his students one by one.
"And we will let some of our soldiers stay here as well, in case there happens to be any trouble." Monique added in, wanting as well to protect the citizens of the Valley of Peace.
The group of Kung Fu fighters then looked each other in the eyes, confidence radiating from all of them. They knew that this would be tough, but every time they've always came out victorious. So, who's to say that they won't lose this time?
With a smile on his face, the Dragon Warrior looked at the two women. "So, where do we start?"
A few miles away from Terra Australis
As the many boats rapidly approached the frozen land, the followers of Ghidorah could begin to feel the chilly air going through their skin. While they did not show it, some began to regret their decision in coming with the others. But they knew that they could not disobey their leader, for their ruler's time must begin at once.
Up ahead, on one of the wooden ships, the leader looked forward at what seemed to be a storm up ahead, surrounding the icy continent. But he was not surprised, once he noticed that the lightning had a more yellowish look to it. As if something knew of their arrival.
One of the followers came behind the leader. "Sir, it has been made that we will arrive at our destination in approximately 40 minutes."
"Excellent," The leader practically grinned at the prospect. "Once we have arrived, we shall finally show our true powers to the world and he will make this planet more perfect than it already is."
He then began to feel something emanating from the member. Worry? Why would he ever feel that?
"What is on your mind, my friend?" The leader asked, not surprising the "friend" at all. "I feel a sense of anxiety in you. Why is that?"
The follower sighed. "It's just…I do not mean to bring any harm to you, my good sir, but I do not believe that we will be able to succeed."
Nothing was said after. Only the cold air bristled through, waves colliding with the wooden exterior of the boat. Then the figurehead finally spoke after what seemed like an eternity.
"While I do understand your worries," The figurehead replied back, calm as ever. "Keep in mind that not all prophecies can be fulfilled. I mean, look at us."
Gesturing to their appearance, the leader finally turned towards the cult member elegantly. "We were told to be followers of the Titans of Earth, not of The One Who Is Many. And yet it happened. And we are proud of it. Right?"
"Right…" The follower answered as if he had heard this all the time. "And what of the King? When do you think he will find out about this, hmm?"
The leader blinked once. Then twice, before nodding in agreement with the other. "He will be a problem. Hopefully it will be too late for him to realize Ghidorah's awakening. And I do believe that with his true power, he will be able to kill him."
"And if he doesn't?" The cult member practically grumbled out loud. "Don't forget that the King might have grown in power as well. He might even be able to kill our Ruler.
"Then…" The figurehead stopped, actually having not thought about it at all. And as he continued to linger on it, he came to only one conclusion. One that he did not like.
"Then we best hope that Gojira spares us. For we shall all be doomed." The leader answered in full honesty, eyes widening from the follower as he did not expect that response.
Once calmed down, he began to walk away, with the figurehead looking at him, before looking back, his face receiving plenty of cold air that he still utterly despised for some unknown reason.
Deep in the Pacific Ocean
Oceans. They seemed to be one of the world's greatest mysteries. For some reason, despite all that has been seen by the residents of the world, they have barely reached the surface of knowing what lurks beneath. But that does seem to be the best, for some are best to be left alone.
As the ocean's residents, ranging from small to big, lurked about, doing their mundane things, they suddenly stopped as if they felt a presence. They would have ignored it, continuing on, just before two bright orange eyes, filled with intelligence, suddenly snapped open, causing the little creatures to scatter away as fast their fins could go.
The two eyes then looked around, realizing where it was, before sensing a presence. Something that it had not felt since his time when it was very young. Grumbling in irritation, the being began to move about, removing tons of sand off of it, before revealing its true form.
From his long tail to his crocodilian-like head, the Alpha Predator pushed himself off the ground, before feeling the cool water wash over him. While he was content in finally being able to move, his reasoning of why was not greatly appreciated by him.
He began to continue to sense this familiar presence, as he had faced him long ago with his Queen. Why couldn't he have just killed him? He wouldn't be in this situation then!
Sighing internally, he tried to form a connection with his Queen, yet getting nothing from her. While frustrated, he did understand her reason and thus, did not continue any further on that subject.
But he should not think about that now. What matters is dealing with that insult to the balance and perhaps, finally finishing him off as he had thought of doing millions of years ago. As well as the traitors who had thought that it would be better to follow that thing.
Rumbling angrily, he sped off, swimming into the ocean, frightening the many dwellers who had lived in the ocean for so many years, having never seen this happen in their entire lives.
As he continued to swim through the ocean, he began to feel the presence of…others. Those who lived on the land and who had once served them, which he, as well as his fellow Titans, gladly accepted. And while he would gladly want to continue to think of the memories of the past, he had a mission to complete. Well, two actually, but it still held the same meaning.
The first was to rid the world, no, the Universe he thought, of that insolent and vile creature.
And to prove why he was the King of the Monsters…and how no one should think of taking his crown away from him.
Because from this day forward, Gojira will have finally awakened from his 400 year long slumber. And he will need to prove once again of his true might to the entire world.
For he is the Alpha Predator. A True Titan.
Well, at least that's dealt with thankfully. Hopefully the next chapter won't take that long…the key word is "hopefully", just to let you know.
