Next day, Anbu approached Ryujin with news of an urgent meeting with Lord Danzo regarding a novel S-rank mission. Ryujin, suppressing a yawn, directed Anbu to the location of his practice scroll and proceeded for a swift refresh.

Despite his exhaustion, Ryujin knew better than to complain; his new existence felt akin to that of a serf, dutifully following orders without question.

As he showered, Ryujin recited his personal mantra: "Improvise, adapt, and overcome."

It served as a reminder to himself to navigate his circumstances with resilience and resourcefulness. Emerging from his morning routine, he found the unknown Anbu impressed with his progress, though praise was prohibited by Danzo.

Ryujin dismissed the acknowledgment, recognizing the vacuous nature of such words. With no desire for further conversation, he made his way to the Root headquarters, the Anbu trailing behind him, their fealty a stark reminder of their subservience to Danzo.

At the entrance, Ryujin spotted Danzo accompanied by his most devoted guards. Despite the elder's welcoming demeanor, Ryujin knew the true purpose of their rendezvous: a new mission awaited.

Respectfully, Ryujin affirmed his readiness and gestured toward the female Anbu as evidence of his completed task. Danzo, showing implicit trust, wasted no time in briefing Ryujin on the mission ahead—a hazardous assignment involving the retrieval of the next Jinchuriki from the Uzumaki clan, under the supervision of Tsunade Senju.

Unenthused by the perilous task, Ryujin's thoughts raced ahead, contemplating the risks involved.

Danzo, undeterred by Ryujin's lack of enthusiasm, handed him a Fuinjutsu scroll containing a malevolent seal, a precaution against divulging sensitive information about Root.

With somewhat of a neutral tone Ryujin inquired. "A curse seal…. You want to apply it on me?" He knows Danzo very well from his instructor and his extreme or paranoid nature.

As any Anbu working for Root is compulsory to have a curse seal to prevent sensitive information from being leaked.

Recognizing the gravity of the seal, Ryujin acknowledged its significance, though his mind buzzed with unspoken requests directed at Danzo.

'HIgher the risk, higher the reward.' He thoroughly thought about taking his time. 'I have to ask for something of equal value in exchange for losing my freedom of choice.'

"I have a request in exchange for 3 S-grade Genjutsu, 2 S-Grade space time fuinjutsu, 2 S-grade ninjutsu of three chakra nature I have." Despite the elder's accolades for his talents, Ryujin remained focused on his agenda, hinting at further negotiations to come.

"Well instead of 3 we will do 1, next 1 S-Grade Fuinjutsu and 1 S-Grade Ninjutsu of each. Lastly You will be the captain of the squad and if the mission falls nothing.. You will get nothing." Danzo, cautious yet composed, entertained Ryujin's requests, reminding him of the consequences should the mission falter.

Danzo also knows Ryujin's monstrous talent. His ability to learn anything in the matter of a few days is like a sponge absorbing water.

"My last offer; 2 S-Grade, 1 S-Grade space time Fuinjutsu and 1 each elemental Ninjutsu of my nature." Ryujin, confident in his abilities and the presence of Tsunade Senju, assured Danzo of his readiness to shoulder the responsibility as he gambled with his luck pushing Danzo.

"...Very well then. Further instructions will be given to you when I get notification from Hokage." With Danzo's authoritative decree, the mission was set in motion, and Ryujin bid his farewells after he put the curse seal on his tongue, his mind already racing ahead to the preparations that lay ahead.

Danzo ordered Ryujin four instructors, as he is always cautious whenever he is dealing with difficult elements like Ryujin. "Keep an eye on him." And dismissed them all.

After receiving the mission the first place he visited was Konoha Shipwrighters. It is one of the best sellers of first class ships in land of fire, with no competition for how great the work is.

As Ryujin ventured into the bustling shipyard, the air crackled with anticipation. His negotiation skills, honed through careful study and observation, served him well as he navigated the intricacies of the transaction.

Ryujin pitched the offer as he, like a professional, checked the details of the ship he was interested in buying. "One and a half million for 2 one medium and one large along with a storage scroll for the large one."

"The best I can do is two million Ryo. Take or leave." Observing the talent to negotiate without bullshit the owner counter offers.

The shop owner, impressed by his confidence and poise, acquiesced to his demands, struck by the young ninja's shrewdness.

"Fine, deal."

"What's your age, kid?" Despite the shop owner's curiosity about his age, Ryujin remained elusive, refusing to divulge personal details.

The prospect of employment offered by the shop owner lingered in the air, a tempting proposition for the skilled negotiator. But Ryujin, ever vigilant, chose to keep his options open, wary of entanglements that could compromise his mission.

"Your negotiation skills are top notch for a kid? What do you think will you work for me? 100K per month? 300? 400?" Old man was still persistent, the unknown young boy had the potential which even his son lacked. Not wanting to let the opportunity go to waste he still insisted.

"I will think about it and let you know for now, anyway here the payment." Doesn't matter the money Ryujin did not deny nor accept the offer. He was still thinking about the deal with Danzo, as long as he follows the order Danzo won't do him any harm.

With the transaction complete, Ryujin departed the shipyard, his mind already shifting to the next step in their journey. The old man, left to ponder the encounter, marveled at the young ninja's prowess, recognizing a rare talent in the making.

As Ryujin's plans began to take shape, the wheels of destiny turned inexorably onward, propelling him towards a future fraught with danger and uncertainty. But with determination burning bright in his heart, he faced the challenges ahead with unwavering resolve, ready to confront whatever trials fate had in store.
