The pirate has decided to fallow me around until he figures out a way to kill me without becoming the dark one. There are more ways to spend time then pestering me. I doubt that isn't his intention.
"You haven't found Bæ yet?" I would need something of his, I haven't tested the potion either.
"Perhaps you've forgotten, those who have been cursed cannot leave this town." Unless they want to lose their memories again.
Killian leans further onto the display counter. "You made the curse, aren't you immune to?"
All magic has a price. "Wouldn't be much of curse then would it."
"You let yourself be trapped? Again?" He all but falls to the floor laughing.
"I'd like to see you try to get out of a curse without losing something vital." He blankly stares from his near floor position.
"Not my specialty love." What is?
"Are you stalling? Think he's going to hate you?" I could kill him. It would be easy. Barely a flick. I intentionally show my murder lust on my face.
He grins back. "I need a participant in a test, sadly you aren't an option."
"A test?" He lifts himself back into the position he was in before.
I turn to my potion collection, the pirates eyes fallow my movements. "This could allow me to leave, it needs an item with high emotional value to work."
No one visits my shop, I come out from behind the counters to leave, the pirate fallows.
"You just so happen to have a potion to let some of us leave?" Snow asks from her booth in Granny's Dinner.
Charming starts a conversation with my pirate parasite. I shudder to think what they have to talk about.
"I'm not going to waste my time pretending to not have planned it. I need someone willing to test it." Snow gives me a stern look of disapproval.
"You want to kill him? That's why you're fallowing him everywhere??" Charming exclaims sounding oddly concerned.
"Aye, that's the gist of it. 'E said I aught not to become the new dark one." Killian lazily points his hook in my direction.
"That...is a good point." Charming sighs.
"Who do you suggest you test it on." Snow glares. You know I would test it on someone I care very little for in case it doesn't work.
"Who would you let me test it on?" The pirate makes a face at the word let.
"You'll have to wait for us to schedule a meeting to ask." Auuugh so much time wasted asking and not doing!...
"Fine." I can not quite restrain a look of pure frustration. Charming gains a defensive stance.
"What did I just walk into?" Sheriff Swan asks wearily. Killian is about to stride over to her until Regina fallows behind her.
"If you're going to get blood everywhere do it outside."Razor sharp glare, as always.
When her eyes land on Hook she frowns. A friend of hers? How many high powered mages did you get used by?
"Why have you not killed him yet?" Swan scowls.
"No one should be killing anyone. We use laws here. Henry-" The Queen swats at her.
"This is different, Killian has been trying to kill Gold for years." Henry came in at some point during the interaction and snuck closer and closer to the pirate.
"Have you really been to NeverLand?" Said pirate is stunned by the sparkles he can almost feel coming from the boy.
"Aye, not the most friendly place, especially for young lads like you. Ask the croc." Again he points in my general direction with his hook.
Henry directs his excessively sparkly eyes towards me. "You're the Crocodile?! You know about NeverLand?!"
Snow looks disturbed by his excitement.
"I think you have the wrong idea of it. Yes I am the Crocodile in the story. I've also been called beast." He disregards the part about NeverLand to instead hyperventilate about my other names.
Swan gives her son a few pats encouraging him to breath slower. "Don't faint on me kid, I had enough of that when you were sleep cursed."
Regina flinches.
"What were you all talking about before we came in?" Snow sighs.
"Gold wants to test a potion that'll probably let someone leave with their memories in tact. He needs a test subject." Regina hisses realizing I absolutely planned this.
"And you want to vote and he wants to use some enemy of his to test it?" Charming looks away guiltily. Why so guilty King?
"Honestly I wouldn't mind that, not every person in town is the best to have here." Henry gives his grandfather a confused look.
"Even if that is true, we will wait until the vote. Unless Gold is in dire need of leaving town and tells us why." All attention has been turned to me.
Killian appears interested wether I'll tell them or not. This may be funny from your point of view sea vermin but-"He's gotta find his son!"
All eyes land in Henry.
What did I expect. He did read the book. The pirate collapsed laughing as soon as he heard. Needless to say I cut his air off a few minutes.
Charming bellows "You have a son??" I was a human at one point.
The Queen and Snow look to be imagining it. Swan's making an expression of understanding.
"We were separated before the curse..." I can't bring myself to say more. I should tell them who gave him the magic item he used to come here.
"Separated?" Killian's brows are drawn together suspiciously.
"...The Fairy you adore gave my son the idea that if we left to a land with no magic I'd be free of the curse...No longer the Dark One."I bite down too hard on the inside of mouth, my mouth tastes like blood now. Grand.
"Why would she do that?" Henry fearfully asks.
Snow glowers at me. "Rumplestiltskin lies, she wouldn't do that. Blue had helped us for years."
"Yeah, you, not Gold. Did you forget I can tell when people lie? He told the truth." Snow's expression crumples.
Henry slowly walks up to me and gives me a hug. "I'm sorry that happened."
...You aren't the one who needs to apologize.
"Is it urgent though?" Regina brings us back to the original topic.
"I don't know."
The roses in my garden are blooming. I should have planted a different flower.. My eyes sting, emotions choke me.
The pirate fallowed me home, he's on my couch laying down. "Your son said you abandoned him."
Abandoned..?
I move Killian's legs so I can sit down as well, I lean back, more or less relaxing. "He tried to get me to jump into a portal here.."
He nods. "Couldn't bring yourself to do it."
I'm too weak. Fear can be a deadly weapon to those who are not able to resist it. To those who summon it.
"Do ya think you'dve been a good parent?" He stares intensely.
"..I would have tried." Killian mimics my position on the couch, slumping into it.
